The staff were so accommodating to us. They treated us well and welcomed us. They also recommended us a better option to go to Sumilon.We were the only guests in the property so it was peaceful.

Our bathroom ran out of water. The faucet did not have any water on the last two days of our stay. We wanted to swim in the pool but it was not clean.

There was nothing to like.

I booked 2 nights, left after 1. No tv in the room, wifi not working. Swimming pool was filthy and had an extra charge. I had to msg the hotel number on whatsapp to get hold of reception staff, which took a while to reply. I would avoid this place and book a hotel closer to the whaleshark watching point.

Měli jsme zde zaplacené 2 noci. Z ubytování jsme po jedné noci utekli. Pokoj nebyl vůbec příjemný. Paní při check-inu nebyla vůbec milá. Byli jsme ubytování přes silnici, kde jsme se necítili vůbec bezpečně. Rozhodně nedoporučujeme.

Jewel of a place found and booked on booking .com for a couple of nights ended up staying for oover a week .planted virtually on the beach tide comes in to the steps. Bringing with it various species of fish crabs ect . Pool is quite small but nice and kept clean . The room are clean and comfortable with air-conditioning provided. The gardens are planted with various trees and shrubs with seating where you can relax and get out of the sun . There's quite a few fishermen in the area if you wave them as they come in with their catch they will sell you their fish at a very good price . Straight from the boat onto the bbq. The staff were very welcoming Mylene Vanessa and the others thankyou for making our stay so special welcoming us into your family there. Even shared their food with us thankyou . Will certainly be going back to this peaceful haven on our return to the Philippines. Xxx

I like the general layout as it has huge potential for being an incredible place.

The is no kitchen or facilities for food or drinks, even though it's built for it. The swimming pool is not well maintained and when we asked for it to be cleaned, they looked like they cleaned it for us but it was still dirty. The volleyball net is a scam because the court is on sludgy sand and there is just generally no atmosphere. The swings are broken, the whole place is falling apart with rust and things not working but no sign of repair.. The only signs around are still left up from covid, 5 years ago! The worst part is the dogs in the cages, locked up with their own excrements in cages barely big enough for them to stand in, not at all big enough for them to walk around. They are on show right by the reception, they cry, and they smell. It is very sad because we love animals, especially dogs and it's painful to see. If we had other options in Oslob we would have left immediately but unfortunately it's a very popular place and any chance of a room elsewhere was taken.

The staff were very very helpful and always around if we needed something. Loved the pool overlooking the ocean. Couldn't have been treated any better. One of our most favorite stays.

What a pleasant little surprise I discovered here. Very very friendly and happy helpful staff, super clean and awesome ocean views rooms.

Будиночки як картонні, чутно сусідів сильно. Аж по 6 ранку виходять співробітники і голосно спілкуються. В один з днів було свято на території готелю чи то день народження, чи то весілля. Весь день була перевірка мікрофонів, а ввечері шум неможливий, правда до 9 вечора.

Beautiful place and nice pool 100% recommend

The tourguide Jon is a gem! Book a tour with him, it will be worth it! Also we loved all the amenities in the room and the seaside view. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

We were extremely disappointed by the lack of consideration shown by the staff during our stay. A large group was allowed to party loudly throughout the property with no regard for other guests. It was clear the group far exceeded the occupancy of the rooms they were using, and yet no steps were taken to manage the situation. They were outside talking and laughing loudly all (!!) night, keeping us awake, and then started screaming in the pool as early as 7:30am: well before the official opening time! Kids were yelling, screaming, shouting. Right next to our room. By 9:15am, karaoke was blasting at full volume. When we approached the staff multiple times to ask for help and remind the group of the hotel’s quiet hours and pool rules, nothing was done. The staff simply watched passively as the disruption continued. We felt like we, as paying guests, were left to fend for ourselves, while the comfort and rest of others (like us) were completely ignored. It was incredibly frustrating. I wish the staff to feel confident and in charge in the future to contain misbehavior!

Nothing to not like

Beachfront. We moved to the beachfront room and the view was beautiful. Waking up early morning to see the beautiful sunrise.

The property we stayed at had a strong smell of dog poo due to the number of dogs around. While the room itself was clean, there were no bins provide making it feel unkempt. Additionally, the fridge was dirty, which was disappointing. You can cook or have a barbecue but the fridge where you store your food supplies was dirty.

The place was great. Just a treck for food.

The location right on the water was amazing. I stayed in the suite, which was a wonderful. I especially loved having so many comfortable outdoor spaces to relax in the shade. The staff were extremely nice and helpful whenever I needed something, and they kept the place very clean.

They keep several dogs in small cages in the entrance-way, and I felt terrible for the poor animals. I assume they're there for security, but there must be better ways that don't involve forcing dogs to live like that. Food options are okay but not great. There is no restaurant and the place is a 10 minute drive away from most food options. You can cook at the small kitchen, but there is no dedicated fridge. The staff let me share the staff fridge. There are small calenderias in the area, though. Wifi was strong, but there is only one wifi router, and it has trouble reaching all areas. It tended to cut in and out in my room, which meant that normal browsing was fine, but any calls tended to be choppy.

We stay the second time at this famous place. In this time we have the very great Penthouse suite. There was a fabulous view and much place. The Staffel and the other personal was very friendly and helpful. Also we must thanks a lot to our very good and committed/competent guide "John". Thanks for All.

Dogs are kept in very small cages in horrible conditions. They are getting crazy. Cruel. Thus we couldnt focus on the rest. Smell in rooms was really bad.

Firstly, we have to address the obvious animal abuse witnessed whilst staying at this hotel. A These dogs are not walked, and the owners don’t even seem to show the slightest care for these beautiful animals. Quite ironic that the signs around the Hotel state that they are your “Pet Best Friends” yet you keep them in such horrible, sickening conditions. Do better or don’t own animals. If you have any love or compassion for animals, I advise that you do not stay at this hotel. As previous reply’s, the hotel owner will try to justify that the dogs are kept in cages for the safety of guests. This is simply a lie, we arrived at the hotel, no other guests were staying there and the owners hadn’t seen our last minute booking. Yet the dogs were all caged, no water and lying in their own poo. Hotel rooms are okay, but the customer service is non existent. Not sure I witnessed a single smile in my 2 day stay.

In Wirope we are not used to see pets / dogs in cages and that feels very uncomfortable. I think that most westerners have a lot of problems to see those sweet beautiful dogs 24/7 in too small cages separated from each other. There must be another possibility but this is a wrong one.

Everything was fine, only too far to restaurant. Garden very nice. Good place for resting and relaxing. I want to back there.

Very nice garden space, room was clean and had everything needed in terms of amenities. Friendly staff. Amazing view of the beach!

Some parts of the room could use maintenance, like cleaning of cloths and repainting of walls just to match the beauty of the outside area. Not part of room but they had several dogs, some quite large that were constantly kept in cages. On the day I left they had even defecated in their cages next to their bowl which no one cleaned and they had no water. Not sure if this is always the case but this was terrible to see.

The bathrooms did not work - the showers didn’t work at all, the tap in the bathroom didn’t work and the toilet didn’t flush. There were dogs in cages right next to the room who barked all night. Huge spider in the bedroom. Dirty mattress against the wall. Far out of town. Air conditioner was so noisy and didn’t cool the room.

Penthouse is amazing; super comfortable; private barbecue and great views.

Sometimes was hard to get in touch with recepcionist and there was no one to open; but overall very good.

This place is a hidden gem - my partner and I loved it- it was relaxed, the staff were friendly and the room was clean and spacious. The room was certainly not 4 star but it suited our needs and no complaints. Weloved the outdoor BBQ, the homely feel of the place and Arte, who runs the place went over and above to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We would love to return again one day soon.

We were disappointed to see the owners dogs caged- being an animal love that was the only thing that upset us- but we took one of the dogs out for a walk along the beach and gave her a bath- that was special!

The location in booking said 3000 ft from town. It was actually 3 miles (5km) from town. No bars or restaurants nearby. Booking also said they had a bar. It hasn't been open since before covid.

Short notice they were very accommodating and met every need. Facilities are not five star, but the service is five star. Tidy and great value. They have a larger room advertised as 6 x single beds, but it is actually 6 x double bunks, which was awesome for our group as we had a bunch of kids

Beds are basic and a blanket would be welcome. Water pressure very average. It is a lot better than it looks from the road/entry

It was extremely dirty! There was a skull and bones of a dead (!) goat underneath our table, hidden by the tablecloth. This is really an unacceptable health hazard! In addition food leftovers were floating in the pool. Moreover the bathroom was dirty on arrival, towles, sheets and blankets were full of stains. The location displayed in booking is not the real location of the place, which is further up north. Bad Wifi.

Nice beach ideal for families with children.

The location om booking is not the lovation of the hotel. It is 5 km north what we found out when searching for it. No breakfast available overall nothing to eat or drink to get there. Strange were also the dogs kept in the cages in not really good environment. The bathroom was not clean, no hot water.

Staff was very friendly, lodge is clean, our tour guide "jun" is commendable. Great value for money.

Staff went above and beyond, were polite and well priced, and comfortable and good air con great for just walking into the sea was wonderful and fresh showers when you come out also fresh water pool small but very clean also around 20 pasos per person to the nearest mall by trycial and this wonderful place provides all cooking facilities stove pots and pans just buy your food and cook away nice and bright and karaoke nice that they were nice generally music stopped by 11pm so was nice all in all plesent stay don't judge it by western standards 2*. For personality and location and pleasant people and stay 10*

I booked a room because I wanted to rest for a day, instead it felt like sleeping inside a karaoke house with very bad singing Had a headache half of the day hoping that in the evening they would turn it off. But it was going until 10 pm 😭. No noise cancellation in the room whatsoever. It started all over again at 9am the next day

Nice pool and a great private beach. Wifi was working, hot water with a good pressure and AC was working. No noise, quite place to relax, nice garden. The manager (man) was very helpful and nice. It was quite far from the city center (on the booking website was 900m, but it was 10 mins drive (my mistake, should check the map properly). 30 mins to the whale watching (the road is terrible, be prepared). There was nothing arround the place (restaurants, coffee). Overall it was average outdated room, I definitely stayed in better places for less money.

The Pink room was quite outdated, looks better in the picture. Bathroom could be cleaner, there were so many unnecessary stuff (dirty old cups, vase, etc.). There was just one thin sheet which was quite annoying. There were dogs in cages, I have quite mixed feelings about it as I dont find it friendly at all. The lady at the reception was odd to me, seemed annoyed and even judged me.

The staff went above and beyond their jobs and one of them even went to town to help me.get slippers. That is next level hospitality. They also allowed us to change our rooms so that we stay on the top floor with fantastic terrace that is right on the beach. Thank you L&M Hearthstones!
