Good location. Friendly staff . Good value.

Service was good, rooms were a bit cold though for my girls other wise overall we made use.

Being an ex Plumber the water pressure in the Shower was very poor. The hot water was a mystery to all of us

It’s a motel that has been renovated recently. It is an old style motel built with concrete blocks. It was nice to have extra space. Especially with a lounge and separate bedroom. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Being a cold night it was nice to have the use of electric blankets. Lisa was ultra friendly and helpful.

The hot water pressure was weak, so we opted to shower at our next accomodation.

Everything was great.. Lovely owner nice rooms, fab shower kitchen well presented with all one would need.

Large and spacious motel with three bedrooms are very rare. Nicely decorated. Lovely outlook over the garden and easy to walk to town.

Very poor room service, only towels replaced. No cleaning for 3 days, no making of bed for 3 days. Staff did not communicate back after raising the issue. Oven was smelly. Avoid staying here.

Place was clean and tidy. If I have to pick a problem had a dripping tap in the bathroom and they were aware of this and was in the process of getting fixed. Staff were outstanding and friendly - great service and very helpful. Pricing was good too so would stay there again next year

Nothing everything was functioning and working - had no issues and could contact staff if there were any issues but there wasn't. LIke I said would stay there again

Great place to stay, easy walk to town. Good restaurants close by.

Good sized motel room with couch and armchair. Small but functional kitchen. Recently refurbished so everything was neat and tidy. Our Host was delightful! So chatty and so full of life! Parking was good, and the whole place was reasonably quiet. The bed and pillow were super comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate to book and stay there again.

Ganz ordentliche Unterkunft mit einer tollen Terrasse zur Gartenseite. Schlafzimmer zur Gartenseite war ruhig gelegen. Die Ortsmitte mit den teilweise sehr netten Lokalen ist zu Fuß in 15 min gut zu erreichen.

Die Duschwanne ist beim Duschen vollgelaufen. Das Wasser lief nicht richtig ab und man stand im Wasser.

The two bedroom apartment was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well equipped. Nice small patio out the back of the apartment.

Older style motel. Got charged a significant surcharge when paying my bill even though I inserted a a debit card (pay-wave also wasn’t operating). Office not staffed at arrival time for most guests so other arrangements are required. Only single beds in both bedrooms.

An older motel. Rooms are attractively decorated, and the back garden/lawn area is very pretty and appealing. Large 2-bedroom unit was roomy. Full kitchen. Quiet.

Water pressure is low in the shower. Twin bed was ok, but a bit saggy and lumpy.

The location is walking distance to Takaka. The furniture in the lounge was comfortable. We had a solid roof over our heads during a storm which was better than being in a tent (popular in this area). The fridge was a good size.

The water pressure in the shower was abysmal. It was so bad that I turned the shower on without removing the floor mat from inside the shower and it didn't get wet at all. And when I tried to wash my hair no water dribbled down either side of my face/hair. It's the single worst shower I have ever used anywhere that even my partner with very little hair struggles ith using. The mattress was uncomfortable and we could feel springs and no cushioning. I really hate plastic jugs in motels but this one was super old and clunky. We didn't see any physical staff for the first few days and my partner had to secure a gate during a storm. It didn't feel super safe knowing there were no staff around and it was a bit confusing when they did show up all of a sudden. This motel is up for sale and it is very obvious that they have t been maintaining it of late. It felt a bit off that we got charged $200 a night for this level of quality.

Everything was globally great, special mention for the lovely garden and free washing machine.

A detail, but the outside chairs were dirty with bird droppings, not very welcoming

When we arrived our room door was unlocked and the key was on the table. We had a text message advising us of this. Everything was pleasant and the bed was comfortable. We had a back porch but the weather wasn't sunny so we kept the back door closed and didn't investigate further. The place was quiet and it was a short walk into the town centre.

The bathroom was small and there was nowhere to hang our towels.

Schön eingerichtete, große Wohnung. Badezimmer zu Toilette getrennt. Tolle Veranda nach hinten zum gepflegten Garten hin. Alles sehr sauber. Nette, zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Cafes und Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar.

L'organisation de l'accueil en dehors des heures de présence à la réception. La bonne humeur de la mangeuse. Le logement qui en fait est un deux pièces ( chambre séparée) le confort de la literie. La laverie gratuite. La petite terrasse a donnant sur le jardin de chaque logement. Le mobilier est un peu de style vieillissant mais le rapport qualité prix est impeccable.

Location - walking distance to shops. We stayed in room 5 - this was so spacious with 2 beds, dining table and full longe. The best part was the large glass sliding doors leading out to a private deck overlooking a lovely garden and play area. Very relaxing spot for to have a drink and read a book. Friendly staff. Washing machine and dryer available for guests. Kitchen facilities to cook if needed.
