The location is superb. Apartment overlooking the sea. Absolutely stunning. Have stayed here multiple times and keep going back. Staff are great, and there are lots of really friendly cats!

Nydelig sandstrand rett utenfor hotellet, bare noen meter fra rommet. Restauranten ligger helt nede ved havet, og vi hadde utsikt mot stranden og sjøen fra rommet. Rolige vibber og en veldig behagelig atmosfære. Personalet var utrolig hyggelige, hjelpsomme og imøtekommende. Frokosten var enkel, men fersk og god. Rommene er enkle, og sengen var litt hard, men det virker å være ganske vanlig i Thailand. Vi hadde alt vi trengte og hadde noen fantastiske dager på Koh Samet.

La ubicació és excepcional, amb els bungalows pràcticament damunt les roques i davant del mar. És un lloc molt tranquil, ideal per desconnectar, adormint-te només amb el so de les onades. No és un resort modern ni de luxe, sinó un allotjament rústic i familiar, perfecte per gaudir de la natura i d'una platja espectacular de sorra blanca. A més, el Wi-Fi té una velocitat excel·lent, ideal si necessites treballar o mantenir-te connectat.

El restaurant de l'hotel és correcte, però probablement no és el millor de l'illa. Les instal·lacions són senzilles i rústiques, així que qui busqui un resort modern pot tenir unes expectatives diferents.

Great little beach cottage ! We only stayed a night but we had great stay !

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Resort sehr genossen. Besonders begeistert hat uns die Lage unseres kleinen Bungalows unter Palmen direkt am Meer. Von dort aus konnte man theoretisch über einige Felsen direkt ins Wasser gelangen, und der traumhafte Sandstrand war in weniger als einer Minute erreichbar. Der Strand selbst war wunderschön und Anfang Mai nur wenig besucht, sodass man ihn teilweise fast für sich allein hatte. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Unser Häuschen war einfach ausgestattet, aber sauber und verfügte über einen Kühlschrank. Das passte hervorragend zum entspannten Inselcharakter der Anlage. Das im Preis enthaltene Frühstück wurde jeden Morgen liebevoll zubereitet und bot sowohl internationale als auch thailändische Speisen. Auch die weiteren Gerichte im Restaurant haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Für eine Insel fanden wir das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis insgesamt angemessen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das außergewöhnlich freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal. Die Anreise zum Resort ist mit Gepäck etwas abenteuerlich, da die Wege teilweise nicht ganz einfach sind. Das Team hat jedoch tatkräftig unterstützt und geholfen, wo es nur konnte. In der Nähe stehen zudem Taxis zur Verfügung, die Fahrten in die Inselmitte oder zu den Fähranlegern ermöglichen. Insgesamt ein wunderschöner Ort für alle, die Natur, Ruhe und eine entspannte Atmosphäre direkt am Meer suchen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Wenn uns etwas nicht gefallen hat, dann waren es die wenigen Gewitter und Regengüsse (smile...)

La localisation est parfaite! Sur une petite baie très tranquille, mais très facile d’accès vers les plus grosses plages. Le personnel est extrêmement sympathique, et le restaurant très bon, préparé à la minute.

The location is incredible, in it's own private bay with a very relaxed feel. The bungalow was gorgeous, beautiful view, spacious, and comfortable. The staff were very warm and lovely and they have a family of happy cats who are very sweet.

The food is overpriced and pretty average. It's fine but also I've had better for less so it was disappointing. I still enjoyed my stay.

Le petit déjeuner n’est pas bon et nous avons essayé plusieurs options ; nous avons attendu énormément pour avoir notre petit déjeuner (un matin plus d’une heure! Pour du pain de mie grillé et du riz avec une omelette) alors qu’il n’y avait pas beaucoup d’autres clients au même moment. Deux employés sont limite hautaines, pas agréable. Leur anglais n’est pas suffisant. La chambre était sale (sol et meubles). Il n’y avait aucun meuble dans la chambre pour poser sa valise (nous avons du demandé deux bancs) et aucun meuble dans la salle de bain pour poser ne serait-ce que la trousse à toilettes. La chambre, outre qu’elle était sale, est vraiment à rafraîchir : la peinture était écaillé et enlevée à plusieurs endroits, il y a des trous dans les murs à reboucher, un mur était sale (éclaboussures d’une couleur douteuse). Il devait y avoir un réfrigérateur dans la chambre mais nous avons dû le demander car il n’y était pas quand nous y sommes arrivés. Le petit chemin en voiture pour arriver à l’hôtel est une véritable décharge d’ordures. Comment un tél établissement peut avoir le statut Genius ?!

Beliggenheden og stemningen på dette sted er helt unik. Kombination af afslappet boho og rastafari vibes. De smukkeste udsigter over strand og kyst. Mintra og hendes mor er søde og behagelige værter. Restauranten laver god mad til gode priser. Jeg har allerede anbefalet stedet til andre, som også elskede det. Jeg kommer helt sikkert selv igen.

The cove where it is located is appealing with restaurants and bars readily available. Swimming was safe. The staff was very friendly and the included breakfasts were outstanding. The location of its restaurant looking out over the cove is most relaxing.

Nothing stands out strikingly. Maybe, the music from the beach bar/ restaurants went on too late and too loud….

We were at the bungalow Nr9, which is probably the best one with the best view of the sea. The bed was very comfortable and the room stocked with everything we needed. The common eating area was nice. The beach nearby was clean and the sand white and soft. The staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay.

The food had some hits and misses, but generally good. Breakfast starts at 8.30 ((7.30 would be much better) and is a bit slow. This is definitely an area that can be improved. The overall condition of the place...could do with a bit more TLC.

Le chemin pour arriver jusqu'à l'hôtel qui traverse une décharge de carcasses de voitures de poubelles et des montagnes de bouteilles vides.

The location is really beautiful and perfect for relaxation. It’s not that crowded so you get to calm yourself and focus on chilling. I had bungalow no. 7 which was in a really nice location and spacious enough. I had the room with the breakfast included and the breakfast selection was good, you should take the thai food options. The restaurant itself has a nice athmosphere partly above the sea and all food was good. The staff was really helpful and helped me arrange the boat and private car for the return trip so that I would make my flight. On the other end of the beach another resort has beachside fireshows that you can observe from the beach. The bars on the beach close early so the nights are peaceful.

Once I arrived, I got showed to the bungalow but no one really told me about the resort or proactively provided any information. My room wasn’t cleaned during my stay (7 nights), which was a bit odd and once I asked about it, they apologized for not having staff and guided me to use the outdoor bins for trash. So no one emptied the trash or took the used towels away during the week of stay. But they provided clean ones everyday, so I wasn’t too bothered. The location is somewhat remote from everywhere else that if you try to get a ride from the main beach to the resort, they would charge a four-time fee. The fastest and cheapest way is to walk along the coast during daytime. If you spend time on the beach, you should like reggae music, because it plays all day long 😃

La posizione molto bella con colazione sul mare, e baia tranquilla con bella spiaggia, molto pulita e con acqua trasparente. Bella terrazza con splendida vista mare del bungalow. Personale carino e accogliente.

Bungalow veramente piccolo e un pò "trasandato". Struttura in generale un pò trasandata anche se dalle ottime potenzialità. Nostro bungalow sopra la cucina spesso notevole odore di cibo nella zona esterna. Colazione un pò troppo limitata soprattutto la parte dolce se di esclude la frutta buona e ben presentata. In generale per il prezzo.mi aspettavo un pochino di più.

Min was a fantastic host who truly went above and beyond for me and my four adult children. She anticipated our needs, shared great local tips, and made us feel completely at home. The rooms were cozy, the location ideal, and the food absolutely delicious with a wide range of options.

Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t enjoy. Everything was comfortable, friendly, and well-organised.

Fantastic location on a nice, relatively unspoilt beach, with others a short walk away. Friendly staff. Quaint, rustic buildings with bar built in part over the ocean.

Expensive for what it was, Direct negotiations may get a better price (note got a major discount online but still could have done better). Room sparsely furnished (limited storage space) and other facilities limited.

Wir waren im Superior Familienzimmer, es ist im überalteten, unstabilen Haupthaus, dass erschreckend viele Sicherheitsmängel aufweist. Die Zimmernummer 1 ist kein würdiges Hotelzimmer. Ich denke dass dieses Zimmer nur in der Hauptsaison vermietet wird und es das Privatzimmer der Mangerin ist. Die Schränke haben Schlösser aber keine Schlüssel. Safe war verschlossen. Der Boden hat eine Neigung und das Bad ebefalls. Das Duschwasser fliest durch den ganzen Bad bis es abläuft und das Wasser hat kein Druck. Die zwei Doppelbetten sind steinhard und die Bettwäsche ist veraltet und verbraucht. Die Lampen flackern ständig, da der Strom ungenügend ist. Auf der anderen Steite der dünnen Wand ist die Küche, man hört Geräusche. Das einzige Fenster und man kann es nicht öffnen, der Ausblick ins Restaurant. Kein Balkon aber man darf die Aussichtsterassen verwenden. Wohlverstanden, das Zimmer hat für 4 Nächte über 32'000 Bath gekostet! Was bei Booking nicht erstattungsfähig ist! Diese Zimmer ist kaum 1000 Bath im Tag wert! Wir haben dìe Unterkunft ein Tag früher verlassen.

Love the place! Located in a charming little bay with a few cute restaurants/bars. The perfect setting for a relaxed beach time out. Loved my beach bungalow with an amazing view the whole place has a Thailand in the 90’s vibe. The bungalow is clean, comfortable and you can eat at the restaurant. I was there for 4 days and had no desire to move beyond swimming, a kayak and reading my book. Amazing!

Not a 5 star modern facility, but very charming and rustic beachfront villa with everything needed.

The bed was like granite. I’ve never slept on a firmer bed. It did actually hurt my back to sleep on it.

Dit resort ligt op een prachtige plek aan de baai. Alles is echt netjes schoon. Fijn ontbijt, je bestelt wat je wilt eten dus er wordt weinig weggegooid. Je wordt goed geholpen met vervoer van/naar het vasteland.

Het huisje wat ik had was verouderd en het was wat behelpen binnen.

Epoc location on beautiful relaxed bay. With just few cool bars and beach side eateries. Wonderful wooden rustic charming hotel with beautiful views and attentive lovely family run resort. I highly recommend if want to strike a nice balance between relaxed beautiful bay and chilled night life 👍

Locatie locatie en nog eens locatie. Wij hebben het hele eiland verkend en vele accommodaties bekeken, maar dit is veruit het mooiste plekje en mooiste strand van Koh samet. Relatief rustig een heerlijke kleine baai met veel barretjes op het strand en een geweldige restaurant van de accomodatie met mooi uitzicht.

Eigenlijk is het enige minpuntje wat je zovaak ziet in Thailand... Hardere bedden dan wij fijn vinden.

The location is amazing, ive been to Ko Samet for over 25 years, and this place is just like it was 20 years ago, if you're looking for modern concrete bungalows that look like any country, this is not for you, If you're looking for rustic, wonderful thai paradise with helpful and lovely staff. Amazing views of the ocean with an incredible sand beach and 2 very cool Thai-style bars/rasta bars where you can drink, smoke, and mingle with expats, local Thais and holiday makers/backpackers from all countries this is great. The rooms are a little old in the place which they are working on, but this is fine of your looking for authentic, and the aircon works fine. Ive seen some bad reviews from others on here (European/U.S. expectations of 3-4 star, seems there looking for luxury, hey this is a Thai island, good luck with that lol), here you get adventure and authentic experience, also food is OK, its a small family run busienss, but you get a breakfast included (Thai or western food) and have access to plenty of other beach restaruants too on the next beach up at Cabana, so if your looking for burgers and fries, stayin America or Europe.

On entering the whole beach road there is a lot of recycling and rubbish that has been collected, this was at first a bit of a shock as you think it's a waste dump (i get it, removing this from an island takes time) but once your past this section and on to the beach and the resorts its magical. My advice would be for the locals/bar owenrs, resort owners) to join together, find a way of moving this or at least creating a way of hiding it from anyone who comes ot this beach. As first impressions count and it really looks awful but I get it niots an easy thing to solve.

Family owned business, while not fancy they are continually trying to improve property. Wonderful semi-private beach. Free kayak and swimming/snorkel equipment.

Really nice location and great room and helpful people. There were some minor issues during the stay but they all were solved. I will for sure come again if I go to Koh Samet again.

Vi bodde i familjerummet vid stranden med en fantastisk utsikt mot stranden! Vi gillade altanen där vi kunde sitta på kvällarna och umgås med vännerna som bodde bredvid. Rummet var enkelt, rent och fräscht med AC. Väldigt gullig och vänlig personal som skapade en gemytlig stämning på hotellet. Härligt att äta frukost på hotellets terrass vid havet, samtidigt som vi kunde titta på fiskarna nedanför för att sedan njuta av sol och bad på stränderna intill.

Endast småsaker. Det hade varit bra med någon extra lampa vid sängen, tex för att kunna läsa på kvällen om andra vill sova (Det fanns endast en lampa i taket) Gärna en större spegel i sovrummet (den var ca 20-30 cm) Något hyllplan i sovrummet hade varit bra för att få undan lite saker när man är många.

Need general renovation, not clean exterior? Just everything needs hands, but family each day better playing card but not doing something. Each night we can not sleep because of full house of small creatures like in the zoo. Breakfast is better for not take because it is like to eat cheap instant noodles with instant coffee. Theritory of village is real center of trash company- just terrible.

The location on a rocky point by the little beach with wood boardwalk through open air restaurant to each sea side cabin was special. We also loved the staff and the private seating area we had by the seaside cabin. The restaurant was great and stayed open later than other places nearby. The little beach next door with our own sunbed to use was great as was the reggae music from the little bar beside the resort. We loved the family feeling and the old style vibe of the resort and surrounding beach side restaurants. Easy to walk to other beaches and to explore via the trails.

The cabin was kinda small and outdated for the price point we paid. The included breakfast could have been a bit better and with less disposable items such as plastic cups etc. The reggae started at ten every morning at the little bar next door which was usually great, but sometimes the volume was a bit high.

It's on a very relaxed and quiet beach. Not too many tourists. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food was also pretty good. Wifi was fast for us to work remotely. We were there for 7 days and it had everything we needed for the time.

The room was a bit small, but we managed. Some of the sheets and towels had some stains, but the place was still clean.

Great secluded beach with just enough bars and restaurants to make staying local. The rooms were basic and clean and had all the essentials coupled with magnificent views.

Great location. Close to some amazing beach locations. The property offers a very rustic experience and is located right on the rocky end of a beach. The staff tries to help, like any other place in Thailand.

Poor breakfast. Meals not good. Feels run down for the price charged. The rooms are clean but could be better equipped with storage (no shelves no cupboards inside). Not enough lighting inside the bathroom.

Reggae bar next door, blasting reggae music all day, surrender with smell of weed... I was on family holiday and chose this area expecting a peace and quiet.

We got the smallest room, but it was ok for the money. Still all clean, relatively comfortable, but not to stay in for longer time. Directly on the beach. The bigger units are much nicer with a nice view on the sea.

The breakfast can be levelled up a bit and fill up more frequently as at some point some selections were missing. Still ok bfast.

If you're looking for an upscale resort with 4 star amenities, this isn't for you. BUT, if you'd like a friendly, rustic, laid-back, unspoiled beach hideaway, do yourself a favor and book here. We had a very restful, peaceful, and enjoyable few days and would gladly return.

Food a little expensive, shower also could have been better, but no major issue. TV in my room didn't work, neither did room internet (but I was able to pick up another rooms connection).

Family feeling, nice and friendly service

A beautiful resort in a stunning location. We had two chalets next to each other and it was great as we had a lovely outdoor living space to share with our daughter and husband. The family there were so helpful and friendly. The food was excellent. We also had free use of kayaks and had fun going out in the water to watch the sunset. There were also paddle boards and fishing rods that you could use for free. So excellent value for money. We were so glad we picked this location as it was so laid back and peaceful compared to the main beach close to the pier which was extremely crowded. Lots of lovely bars and a fire show every evening. Our favourite bar was the Reggae bar. The bar and restaurant at the resort itself is also great. Would definitely come back!

The breakfast wasn't great. Would rather pay a bit more and have a better breakfast. But the food in the restaurant for dinner was excellent.
