The farm is beautiful. The cottage is clean and comfy and has everything one needs, including special touches like biscuits, eggs, flowers. Tea and coffee. The staff were friendly. We had a lovely walk around the dam. A super visit.

This is our 3rd time staying at Paul Wallace, we love staying in the cottages and exploring the Elgin valley. The cottages are very well equipped, the farm is so beautiful, the wine tasting that Paul or Bobby do are so personal and full of stories and the kids love playing on the farm and paddling on the dam. We highly recommend a stay at the farm, Nicky is a wonderful host.

Absolutely nothing, we love staying on the farm and will visit time and time again.

The setting is so special. Kids fished in the dam and caught bass. Well-equipped kitchen, nice addition of the airfreyer. Beds are comfortable, cottages are pretty.

Loved our stay in this comfortable cottage. Nice attention to detail, nice towels and linen, fresh flowers, proper coffee, water, milk and biscuits. Friendly staff. This is a great area to visit especially if you are interested in wines, we really enjoyed it and would love to stay again.

We advised the office that we would be arriving quite late in the evening. The gate was left open for us and the key was left in the cottage. Beautiful setting and friendly hosts.

I didn't enjoy the tiny hairdryer. Takes a little longer getting ready for a wedding - trying to blow wave long hair

Das Cottage ist mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet, alles da was wir für die letzten Tage in Südafrika brauchten! Herrlich abgelegen diese Wallace Wein Farm, sehr sympathisches Farmer-Ehepaar mit angenehmen Hunden, Hühnern und Enten😉

The accommodations were clean and comfortable, beautiful vineyards and orchards all around. The house had all the amenities one could possibly need and close to various towns to enjoy an array of tourists activities. Nicky was on hand to assist when needed, but this was not required. Highly recommended!

We loved the accommodation and the special touches like fresh flowers in the room. Paul showed us to our unit and was most informative. The rose garden is magnificent.

A perfect bit of peace and quite Beautiful grounds and farm Cute cottage with everything you need and a proper Braai wood supplied fire lighters and all Labs even take you for a walk and sit with you for the morning ….and evening if you sit out love a Labrador and there was three! Cosy, just what you need for a short out of town stay.

We didn’t stay long at this property, but we immediately felt at home thanks to the incredibly warm welcome from Nicky and Paul Wallace, even though we arrived late at night. The cottage was charming and cosy, and the fireplace was especially appreciated on a cold, wet July evening. The location is great - peaceful yet conveniently close to Grabouw and Kleinmond, not to mention the famous farm stalls of Peregrine, Houw Hoek and Elgin Railway Market. Highly recommended; and be sure to enjoy some wine tasting while you’re there!

Very cozy! We loved it for a quick two day getaway. The dogs on the property were friendly and made the accommodations complete. The wine tasting with Bobby was fantastic!

Really lovely place to stay. We had everything we needed; fireplace was lovely to keep us warm during the cold nights, TV had access to Netflix, hosts were friendly and welcoming, everything was clean and neat, bed super comfy

Paul and his wife Nicky are such lovely people. The winetasting was exceptional and their wines are made with love. Thank you for the warm welcome. The farm fresh eggs and firewood for the indoor fireplace and braai outside. The braai area was cleaned the next morning and we received more wood for the next braai. The fireplace was warm and comforting and complimented the accommodation. Quiet and peaceful. The Labs were a treat and the farm itself with the two dams are a beautiful place just to relax and find your soul. A visit to Elgin Railway Market on a weekend is a MUST. Thank you Paul and Nicky for a warm, hearty stay.

Maybe some hooks for the wet towels. Otherwise everything you needed were supplied. Lovely accommodation.

Great location, exceptional wine, and brilliant hosts.

The family greeted us as soon as we arrived. They helped us check in and get settled before we started our activities for the day. Paul, Nicky, and Bobby went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were also extremely helpful in finding us a driver and recommending great wine farms to visit.

Our favourite farm to visit and stay - absolutely perfect!

Lovely area. Height of fruit picking season. Beautiful valley. Nice walking through the vineyards. Wine tasting interesting. Lots of information in the brochure on things to do around and about. Only downside was the 3 undisciplined dogs who were underfoot at meal times. One even took a bite of our 18 month old granddaughter’s food.

Amazing being in the countryside on a farm, alongside a dam and beautiful vineyards with only birdlife and various animals for company.

We enjoyed walking around the farm, sitting outside our cottage enjoying some meals as a family and just chilling. Nicky was an exceptional hosts and made us feel very welcome. Kitchen was well equipped, we had a braai option that we did not use! Even helped us with extra bottle of water & wine tasting! Would definitely recommend.

The location is absolutely perfect. A tranquil wine farm tucked away in the Elgin valley. It really is a piece of heaven. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and their wine is amazing. We will definitely return.

It was a very hot weekend so we needed more than just fans to cool us down. The shower was not very clean so I had to scrub it down before my family could use it.

The location was excellent. The weather, unfortunately, was not. We were house bound for most of our stay and quite comfortable.

Only the weather and we were too late to taste any of their wines which was our fault.

Beautifull location, nice and quit. Well looked after place. Everything was clean and a lot of things was provided for: coffee, tea, cookies, braai wood, fire place wood, anti-mosquito stuff (altough there were no mosquito's when we were there), the garden/grass is well maintained and there was a good table to sit at outside. The communication before we arrived was pleasent. We got all the info without getting bombarded with messages, and on the day of arrival some instructions on how to get there were also send. All in all a great place to stay. Would love to come back in the winter and enjoy the cosy living room with fire place to wind down and do some wine tasting in the neighborhood.

There is not much to improve actually. If anything, - an extra hook next to the shower for the towel, - a long mirror in a better place (there was one behind the door but then you need to close the door every time) - The bed was fine and no real complaints but if you want to go from a 9 to a 10 this would need to improve

Absolutely nothing.

Nicky, Paul & their son Bobby were exceptional hosts. They treated us so kindly and spoilt us with a free wine tasting for my partner's birthday. Bobby ran the wine tasting really well giving us a lot of information about their family, farm and how their wine is produced. A lot of passion goes into their wine making and guest hosting and one is made to feel very welcomed and at home on the property. I could not recommend them enough and can't wait to go back and visit again! The farm itself is absolutely stunning in every direction and the cottages are fully equipped for self-catering visits.
