We stayed at Hotel Green Horizon during our recent visit to Nepal and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is located right in the heart of Thamel, which makes it extremely convenient for shopping, dining, and exploring the area. The staff were very helpful, polite, and always available when needed. The rooms were comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious with a variety. Overall, it’s a great option for anyone looking for a budget hotel with a prime location and friendly service. I would definitely recommend it!

Это моя вторая остановка в этом отеле. В этот раз я выбрал более комфортный номер. Надо заметить, что к середине марта в отеле появилась реально горячая вода, чего не было в начале февраля, тогда она была едва теплой даже в самых дорогих номерах. Персонал очень приветлив и делает свою работу максимально хорошо. Номер и постельное белье были чистыми. Завтрак отличный, а двор где он подается, просто великолепен.

Но, пожалуйста! Замените в номере унитаз. Он конструкции 50-х годов прошлого века. Основная проблема - узкая труба от бачка к чаше. Вода из бачка унитаза поступает очень медленно и содержимое унитаза невозможно смыть. У меня ушло 30 мин. на 10 попыток и я не справился. В более дешевом номере, где я жил в первый раз, такой проблемы не было.

Completely different from the photos. Old and poorly maintained. I didn't stay the planned number of days.

Горячая вода недостаточно теплая - единственная причина, по которой на вторую поездку пришлось выбрать другой отель, поскольку моя жена очень чувствительна к этому.

Breakfast is quite good, including omelette, toast, jam, coffee and juice.

Staff were very friendly. The included breakfast was quite good! Also nice to be able to use credit card.

Property is really good also located centre of city. In-house restaurant is excellent with good staff and they serves good food their. I stayed their with my parents they are loved the place and hospitality

Its OK place. Nothing special. I had the superior room with fridge and air con. Staff is OK. I liked the special location of my room. No other rooms nearby. I've been in worse places with more expensive prices.

There was nothing special hospitality. Bath tub was pretty useless. There wasn't even a plug. So going to shower little bit uncomfortable. Have to be careful of the slippery floor. I've been in better places cheaper price.

①まずは立地です。タメル地区のど真ん中にありながら、少し引っ込んだ立地の為、信じられないほどに静かでした！ ②タメル地区の朝は、比較的始まるのが遅いので、朝食付きは助かりました！ ③100％ではないですが、ホットシャワーは問題無かったです！

①古いホテルアルアルですが、コンセントの数が少ない上に、故障していたりする。 ②室内照明が少なく、また暗い。特に枕元の照明が無いと本が読めないので困りました。

Very nice and helpful people in hotel, tasty breakfast. The place is wonderful, you have everything near this place! They can provide you with everything!

The location is perfectly central but set back away from the road so it’s quiet on a night time. The owner was so helpful and friendly

The room smelled a little and the furnishings are stained and old. The bathroom isn’t well maintained but there was hot water. The plugs didn’t work in the room. I stayed 5 nights and no cleaning was done

The manager is very nice. the rooms are quite big and great for relaxing after a long hike. Location is superb, right in the heart of thamel.

Great functional bath and spacious clean room on the top floor, sunny and warm. Basic breakfast with beans coffee on request. Friendly staff.

Helpful staff. Booking made some errors in updating/changing the reservation. They were very helpful to find a solution and stick to the original booking price. Very central location with clean and spacious rooms

Мы в эту поездку останавливались тут трижды, всегда очень хорошо нас принимали. Чистые комнаты, горячая вода круглые сутки, интернет и электричество без перебоев, вкусные завтраки, отзывчивый персонал и тихая локация - всё что нужно, чтоб прекрасно проводить время в Катманду.

Il personale super cordiale, gentile e disponibile. Ho soggiornato qui un paio di notti con un mio amico al ritorno da un trekking, posizione centrale per thamel si ha tutto a portata di mano. La camera era di grandi dimensioni e aveva un bagno funzionale con acqua calda. Noi non lo abbiamo provato ma la struttura è anche dotata di cucina per cui si possono consumare tutti i pasti, dalla colazione alla cena.

Nice and clean hotel. Location was pretty good and the room cosy. The staff was also very kind and accomodating. Overall its a great place to stay in Thamel!

Очень тихий, уютный отель с доброжелательным персоналом, всегда готовым прийти на помощь. Мы тут уже второй раз останавливаемся и, думаю, будем останавливаться и в дальнейшем. Ресторан при отеле вкусный и недорогой, можно заказывать блюда в номер.

Очень красивая, просторная, чистая комната с хорошими матрасами в тихом месте - то что нужно для комфортного отдыха после прогулок по шумному городу.

It was a very good experience in this hotel. It's completely value for money. The staffs are very cooperative, specifically the manager Shyaam is very friendly and cooperative. I will definitely reconsider this hotel in future

Centrally-located, but off the main street in a quiet area. WiFi, AC, hot water, as promised. Helpful staff.

The water pressure is so low, the toilet doesn’t fill up, making toilet content difficult to flush. And since there are no alternative means to flush, things can be floating in the bowl for a very very long time. The power sockets are ultra old. The only socket where you can plug in 3-prong plug is so loose, the extension cord plugged in there is holding by a band-aid. You have to check periodically to make sure the juice is flowing (and adjust the band-aid if it’s not).

I had an exceptional stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the room was spotless and comfortable, and the overall service exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future."

The breakfast is excellent with many choices and the location is within walking distance to restaurants shops and UNESCO world heritage sites.

A great hotel in the heart of thamel for a traveller looking to start the trekking journey in Nepal. Hotel provides tour services and transfers as well as baggage storage.

Property is next to a school, so can be quite loud at times when the kids are playing, but it wasn't excessive. This property charge for an airport pickup $13 USD An indrive (ride share platform) is $5 Little bit pushy on the trekking services

The hotel is located in the heart of Thamel and the staff are very humble, polite, and friendly. The food was delicious. There is a garden restaurant in the property which serves a wonderful menu and a peaceful environment.

Nothing to complain about at all. The hotel is one of the best I ever stayed.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food at the restaurant is really good. I suggest the Dahl Baat. The location is great. For busy Thamel it is tucked away in a quiet spot. It’s a great value. If you’re planning any tours or tracking be sure to do it through Nepal mountain trekking.

The hotel is in the center of Thamel but in a quiet backyard, which is amazing. Room has everything you need, the staff is very friendly and will help you with all questions you got.

The location is perfect in the center of Thamel. Breakfast options where great and the break fast we chose was really good. Staff was friendly and helpfull.

The Hotel is absolutely in the middle of Thammel District & yet far, as it is inside a private lane. The best part is that when you finally retire to your room you are away from the loud music of the restaurants & pubs. Location 5⭐ People/ Staff 5⭐ Breakfast/Meals5⭐

The hotel is slightly old so you may hear a creaks from the doors/windows. Although that's absolutely fine.
