Daali Hotel & Apartment

This was a great hotel to stay. The staff were really lovely. Location excellent. Great breakfast. We stayed for 8 nights which usually makes you want to swap location. But not us. We really enjoyed being here and would definitely stay here next time we're in Kathmandu. It's really easy to walk around this area and find places to explore. The staff are very kind and really happy to help solve any issues you have. My example is needing a nail file and not being able to find one to buy. One of the staff got an excellent one really fast for me. One of many great memories of staying here.

The staff were honestly amazing. Always trying to help, whether that's at arrival, any queries during the stay or at checkout (they packed me breakfast as I was leaving early). One night some people on the same floor were having a party, so a member of staff very kindly offered to move me for the night to a higher floor so I could sleep well. I didn't even have to ask. I was also given a better room than I booked which was very kind of them

The windows weren't great at sound proofing in the deluxe double room I was staying in, so could occasionally hear road noises outside. But honestly besides that it was a lovely hotel. And amazing value for money

I initially booked Daali Hotel for just 4 nights, but loved it so much that I kept extending my stay! What makes Daali so special is the people. Every member of staff is incredibly warm and welcoming and genuinely made me feel like family. From the conversations with the boys at reception, to Doma’s genuine care every morning at breakfast and Kanchan, the owner, always making sure I felt safe and looked after. They were all so generous with their suggestions and advice and made my time in Kathmandu even more special. The rooms are cosy, beautifully designed and comfortable, and the location in Thamel is perfect for walking to cafés and restaurants. They also kindly stored my luggage while I went away, and coming back honestly felt like returning home. I’ll definitely keep coming back whenever I’m in Kathmandu. Couldn’t recommend Daali Hotel more highly!

Despite being in centre and lot of noise around, I found incredible the acustic isolation. I had a good sleep and the place is very well mantained. Room is cute and shower very good. Nice amenities too.

Centrally located, clean, lots of things nearby, extremely friendly staff. Very helpful! Doma and Pallavi our lovely girls who were very nice every morning at breakfast. We met the owner who was also very nice. It was nice to be able to get laundry done and get suggestions about the area. Clean and spacious rooms.

Hôtel was clean and conveniently located. The staff was very kind and attentive, especially Doma and Pallavi. Owner also friendly. Front desk guys woke up early and had breakfast ready for us to catch our flight as well. Laundry service was convenient. Breakfast served every morning. Buffet was good. Very nice place

部屋のドアの下部の隙間が大きく通路の明かりが漏れて見えた。そのため他の部屋の騒音が遮音されず筒抜けで騒々しく、他の部屋のルームサービスの食べ物の匂いまで自分の部屋にまで匂ってきて非常に不快だった。朝食付きプランだったがコーヒーが選択肢になく飲めなかった。コーヒーも飲めない朝食メニューは他のホテルでは経験したことが無い。

Stylish, good location and very friendly stuff

The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. I especially remember having a really nice chat with the receptionist on the day I left. He knew I was planning to visit the well-known BARC, but he also recommended a few local bars that he personally thought were worth checking out. I really appreciated the genuine local recommendations and the friendly conversation.

On the night I checked in, I happened to notice quite a lot of hair from previous guests on the mattress around the head of the bed. It was quite unpleasant and made me question the cleanliness of the room.

My absolute favorite hotel in KTM. The staff is friendly and helpful and I could tell they really liked working there. I arrived before 2pm but that was no problem. My modern room was spacious, clean and smelled fresh. The hotel is located on a busy street but my room was very quiet. I was leaving early for the airport and they packed a sumptuous breakfast take-away for my trip. The hotel has an elevator which was also a good perk for an older man.

Ayrıca eşimin doğum günü içinde süpriz yaptırlar. Personeller ve otel sahibi güler yüzlü ve misafirlerle yakından ilgileniyor. Odalar temiz ve güzel. Kahvaltıda oldukça başarılydı. Şehir merkezinde olması büyük avantaj. Nepale everest için tekrar geleceğiz ve adresimiz tekrar burası olacak. Herşey için çok teşekkürler! Namaste 🤗

Close to restaurants, convenience shops, currency exchange and trekking stores in Thamel area. Excellent restaurant with all-day service. Quiet rooms with modern decor.

The room was big and spacious. Clean and hygiene. Food was decent as well.

Special room décor was abit more expensive then i thought. Breakfast set could be more wide range. Maybe off season and much guest around.

The why they somehow found out it was my birthday today and surprised me unexpectedly. That’s the best feeling of surprise I have every gotten

Honestly, I couldn’t find anything I didn’t like. In terms of value for money, the stay exceeded my expectations — from the rooms and amenities to the warm hospitality.

De stad Kathmandu zelf is wel erg druk met next level verkeer, geen voetgangerszones, voetpaden, stoplichten etc. Gebruik de stad als een hub voor bezienswaardigheden.

Staff were super friendly. The restaurant on site was wonderful. Room was clean and spacious.

Towels had a food smell and there is noise from the street until late at night.

Very good location near the market yet the rooms do not have noise. The staff is super helpful and helped us with the cab payments and money exchange when we had some issue. The owner of the place spoke to us at length at breakfast and was a very helpful and genuine guy who seems to be dedicated to provide good service to the customers. Rooms are spacious and immaculate as well!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. I was also pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, which I truly appreciated - thank you so much for that! The location is excellent and very convenient, making it easy to explore the area. The room itself was lovely, cozy, and comfortable. Overall, a great experience, and I would happily stay here again.

Hotel management. Security breaches when booking through Booking.com making customers exposed to fraudes & scams (all your data will be stolen & you ll receive scam links to share your card details for deposit to secure your room - which turns to be a scam). Hotel is aware about it and they just keep it like this, with no clear warning made ! Totally unacceptable and unethical! I don’t recommend at all!

The staff is extremely nice and helpful. They can arrange all kind of services. There’s security and reception 24h. Breakfast is nice, they can prepare breakfast to go if you depart early. The room is cleaned everyday, and water is provided. I definitely recommend it!

Great place to stay

Everything was expectational but what clicked the most is the genuine care and attention from the staff. Everyday I was asked do you have any issue with the rooms, would you like to do some cleaning, anything else is required from our end. All these question made my place feel like home than a place to crash inbetween my next adventure.A bonus point was this was one of the places that has an elevator

Je donne un 10/10 à l’hôtel Daali. Le service était impeccable, ils sont aux petits soins avec nous. Très souriant, on se sentais vraiment les bienvenus. Nous sommes venus 3 fois à l’hôtel durant notre séjour d’un mois au Népal , au début, à la fin et entre nos 2 treks. Les chambres sont super propres, douche chaude et ils peuvent organiser le transport pour nous jusqu’à l’aéroport et garder nos bagages qui ne sont pas nécessaire pour le trek. Le déjeuner est excellent. Très bien situé dans le quartier Thamel pour faire toutes vos achats. Ambiance très familiale le gérant venait souvent nous voir pour s’assurer que tout était à notre satisfaction. Ne chercher pas plus loin, si je revient il est certain que je chois cet hôtel. Merci à tout le personnel.

Excellent emplacement en plein coeur de Thamel. Le personnel est tellement sympathique et aidant ce qui a rendu le séjour encore plus agréable. La chambre était confortable et avait tout le nécessaire. Je recommande fortement à tout couple ou famille qui visite Kathmandou. Sans oublier le buffet qui est incroyable pour débuter la journée et un véritable paradis lors d'un retour de trek! Je reviendrai sans hésitation!

Everything was perfect! The rooms were like completely new, the kindness of the staff is unimaginable, the location is great fun the breakfast was the best we ever had in Nepal, great variety and they try to read every wish from your lips without being uncomfortable :)! We loved it so much and will come back!!

Great location in KTM. Staff were friendly and helpful. Shower was exceptional, bed super comfy. Good amount of space to unpack larger luggage. There's a lift there but a couple of stair flights were necessary to get to the lift or the room floor.

I was on level one and the restaurant noise woke me up every morning at around 6am. It also would continue late into the evening 11.30pm. You could hear everything in the hallways clearly.
