The villa is in a great location. It is easy walking distance to many attractions but tucked away in a quieter part of the street, we never had any noise from the road disturb us. The breakfast was fantastic. The portion sizes and variety each morning was great. Our room was spacious and clean, it was very comfortable for two people. The staff were all very kind and accommodating, we felt very welcomed during out stay!

A hidden gem in the Malecon, I loved my stay here. The room was lovely, the made to order breakfasts were amazing and the staff were gracious and welcoming. I plan to stay here on my next trip to Puerto Vallarta.

Súper acogedor, el host es muy amable, el hotel es pequeño y personal, te sientes como en casa. La ubicación genial en media zona romántica lo único las escaleras, pero si estás en forma, no hay tema.

The breakfast although plenty and with some good options (fruit and pastries) the cooked options were not great, but I did very much appreciate having breakfast included.

La atención de todo el personal es maravillosa, desde el dueño hasta el de las cocineras. Son amables pero no intensos. Todo lo que preparan para comer es delicioso y casero. El lugar está super bien equipado, los cuartos son muy espaciosos, es muy tranquilo y la terraza es espectacular. Definitivamente volvería.

The villa is absolutely stunning! Our room was clean, the bed was cosy and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious and the lovely ladies preparing breakfast were so kind. Also super grateful to Logan for being so welcoming and accommodating - he also gave a fantastic food recommendations.

War ein super schöner Aufenthalt. Frühstück&Service waren spitze. Nur die Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen (Duscharmatur fiel auseinander… Zimmer war spitze, jedoch wär ein Sichtschutz bei der Terrasse angebracht damit man seinen Privaten Raum hat… Sehr zu empfehlen…. Alles Gute

Beautiful small boutique hotel at the edge of Zona Romantica, quiet but very close to everything. Delicious cooked breakfast with good coffee. The bed was super comfortable, the staff was amazing, and the bathroom was huge. And it's right next to Chictini, an awesome place for sunset cocktails

Beautiful little gem of an inn in a perfect location for exploring the city. We could walk to the beach, lots of restaurants, and tour meet-up locations - the best neighborhood! Delicious breakfasts and very friendly hosts. It felt as if we were guests in someone’s home. It was fun to meet the other friendly guests each morning at the shared breakfast table.

I was Greeted at arrival with the manager, Very Polite nice smile . He actually took my bag to my room for me . The Room was very spacious it was quiet and Clean .

I did tell the manager I am used to a Softer Bed , the bed for me would of been more Comfortable with a Softer mattress but it was ok for the nite .

The staff were amazing! The food was great, the house itself was really nice and co.fortable, and the location can't be beat.

Staff were super friendly, we felt at home from the very beginning. The place is just fantastic with everything you can wish for. The breakfast alone is worth a stay. The rooftop pool might be small but it was by far our favourite one in our entire holiday.

The place is so nice that it can be hard to push yourself to go outside and explore the town :)

This property is essentially located honestly great location. One of the super highlights was the morning breakfast. I have been going to Puerto Vallarta for over six years now and this breakfast one of the best and it’s included in ur stay. The staff was super friendly, very helpful and willing to help. They’re very attentive to what your needs are.

If I have to complain about something, I would want the bedding a bit more softer but now I’m just being a princess! Lol

At night there was still light coming in to my bedroom. Dark curtains as others have said will have been helpful.

I had a great stay at Villa Lola. The location is excellent — everything you need is close by, which made getting around super convenient. The bed was very comfortable, and the overall environment of the house was calm and quiet, perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was very good and well-balanced, a great way to start the day. They also offer daily room cleaning if needed, which was a nice touch. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend it!

Breakfast was great. Beds were comfy and rooms and amenities were always clean.

The WiFi and TVs did not work very well. TV froze most of the time so we just quit trying to use it. Thankfully if you are not trying to stay in the room much this is easily manageable.

Tanto la casa como las habitaciones son muy bonitas y cómodas. Es una delicia estar en un espacio así. Poder usar la piscina incluso de noche. Posibilidad de tomar café o té durante todo el día y noche.

El desayuno está muy medido en cantidad y recibíamos presiones para desayunar rápido porque la mujer estaba estresada con tareas pendientes (aunque en 3 ocasiones le pedí que no me metiera prisa y no sirvió de nada; y aclaro: somos muy rápidos comiendo y no era a primera hora de la mañana). Sobre lo de la altura, ya lo avisan todos, pero como positivo, hay un ascensor gratuito que te baja directamente a zona céntrica junto al mar

What a very nice boutique Bed and Breakfast in a great area of Zona Romantica. The place has very nice character and the staff is super nice. Logan was a great host and Ellie is super sweet. They offer breakfast, which is really nice, but I am not a big breakfast person, so Ellie made me a very nice and healthy shake each morning and had it waiting for me in the fridge for when I woke up. There is a very nice rooftop that is quaint and comfortable with a small pool. My room was spacious and quiet and very clean. There is a funicular that runs until 10 pm to take you up the hill to the B&B or if you want to get your steps in, there are 102 of them (I counted). I did it several times without difficult. This shouldn’t put anybody off in my opinion, because going down is a breeze, but if walking is an issue for you, the funicular runs from 9 am until 10 pm, and if you are out by the clubs, it was literally just 40 or 50 pesos to take an Uber to the front door. Playa Los Muertos is a stones throw and lots of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. This is a highly recommend for me; in case it wasn’t obvious. :)

Gran ubicación a 5 min de playa de los muertos. El personal muy atento, las instalaciones limpias y cuidadas. Amamos que tuviera desayuno incluido. Tiene una pequeña alberca por si quieres estar ahí un rato. Casi a lado de la carretera que lleva a las playas de Puerto, amamos.

I took a friend for her birthday and the staff helped me arrange for balloons and chocolates to be in the room upon arrival. They also considered her mobility issues. The staff and breakfast were very good. The location was honestly perfect; so close to restaurants, the beach, the pier, shopping, the best churros etc We stayed for 6 days and loved every minute. Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful property, like staying in someone's mansion. Only a few guest rooms here, so you feel very private. The room (19) was very large, with a big comfortable bed, had its own private patio. Very nice shower and plenty of hot water, exceptionally clean. All water is filtered, so no worries. You have access to a common living room area with books and TV, a large dining room where breakfast is served each day, and there is a small rooftop pool. Breakfast is cooked to order and delicious, with exceptionally attentive staff. Everyone was warm and welcoming.

Although it's nice to be up on the hill and away from the fray, it's quite a walk to get up there... with lots of steps. There is a funicular that covers much of the distance, but still quite an uphill before and after. At my age this was a challenge in the hot weather, and the funicular stops at 10pm. From town you can get a taxi instead, but I would have preferred an easier access walk.

Everything and everyone -- thank you SO MUCH! We absolutely loved our stay. Gorgeous villa, well situated, the rooms are clean and comfy and the staff were exceptional. We'll definitely be coming back!!!

Only small downside are the stairs needed to get to and from the beach (I personally had no problem, but I imagine it could be difficult for some). There's nonetheless a kind of elevator that leads all the way up (for a small fee, if I'm not mistaken).

I absolutely loved my stay at Villa Lola. The facilities were amazing, very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The room was excellent, with plenty of space, spotless cleanliness, and a bathroom large enough for two people. Everything worked perfectly, which made the stay even more relaxing. The staff was truly the highlight of my experience. Eli and Rosa made me feel right at home, always ready to serve a delicious breakfast and happy to share advice about the city. A special thanks also to Logan, who went above and beyond when I accidentally locked myself out at the end of my stay. His diligence and kindness saved the day. The location is exceptional, on a safe and quiet street, yet just steps away from all the energy and action of Puerto Vallarta. In conclusion, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I highly recommend Villa Lola, especially for solo travelers.

Loved this place!! Staff was exceptional, breakfast was lovely. I had to work while there and it was perfect, felt like my own big, beautiful house. It is on a hill but at the top of the funicular/cable car, so that is fun! Very walkable to everything in PV. Would absolutley stay here again, the value cannot be beat.

Ideal location. Alot of hills and stairs so if you have mobility issues can be a problem. Very comfortable beds and linens. Nice to meet other guests at breakfast.

This property is a haven. I cannot speak highly enough about the Manager (Logan) and the staff. The hotel or Bed and Breakfast is exceptional. I felt privileged to stay in such a beautiful home. 10 out of 10 on all levels.

It was all perfect

We LOVED this place. It’s better than it looks in the pictures. Everything feels well curated and well taken care of. The staff is so delightful. They even did our laundry for us on our last day and it didn’t cost extra. The property provided clear and concise information leading up to our stay to help us navigate arriving from the airport, etc. The breakfast is hearty and really good. There was also wine and cookies available in the evening. The pool is awesome. The location is incredible! Two blocks from the heart of Zona Romantica but much quieter than we were expecting. The stairs leading to and from the beach are easier than we expected. Don’t hesitate, just book it!!

If I HAD to nitpick—maybe they can add a system for people to label stuff they put in the communal fridge? We bought special craft beer to enjoy later and someone drank it. Also small thing to be aware of: if you book room 39 there is no ceiling to the bathroom so it’s open above the wall between the bedroom and bathroom.

Villa Lola was like a little oasis. It was a pleasure to spend time there after a day on the beach and malecon.

Great location to get everywhere. Nice Mexican style lodging with a homecooked breakfast every morning. Kitchen if you want tea or supplies (glasses etc.) Peaceful sitting areas upstairs. Logan was very welcoming to show us everything and with any questions we had. I would definitly stay here again.

This place is so fantastic. The room was great and we loved the upstairs pool. The breakfast and service in the morning was 5 stars. Also very walkable to great dining and entertainment options. Overall a fantastic place to stay. I would definitely stay again!

OMG!!! My husband and I had the most wonderful stay here. We didnt really care for PV but I would definitely stay here again. The staff were great (the property manager took the time to explain everything). Breakfast was amazing —- fresh pastries and breakfast burritos. The room was beautiful and cozy —- would definitely stay here again. B & B also offered transport to the airport which really helped!
