The yard had a fire pit and the bbq, that part was unexpected and nice.

No staff onsight if we needed or wanted to ask anything.

It was clean and quiet. The staff were nice. Good location. A table and 2 chairs, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker were provided. A toaster and kettle were supplied upon request. There was a large green space where community BBQ's, picnic tables, and a fire pit was. The pool was clean. The air conditioner worked well.

My bed wasn't very comfortable but my friends was. The motel was dated. There were not extra blankets in the room. Although there were 2 chairs provided outside the room we couldn't enjoy the space entirely because smoking was allowed right outside each room and the rooms on either side had smokers who sat outside continually. We had to move our chairs to the green space to get away from the smoke.

Very clean, friendly and helpful and attentive staff, has everything you need. There's a cabinet on the front porch of the reception building with everything you need if anything needs to be replenished. The pool is lovely.

C’est à se poser des questions si les galeries sont sécurisées ….. manque beaucoup d’amour sur l’ensemble des bâtiments nous étions dans la chambre 36

The room was clean, spacious, and had a good sized kitchen.

Neighbours were smoking on the patio and the smell of smoke was coming in through the air conditioner.

We loved the location of this motel. It allowed us to easily reach our planned destinations.

We planned to save money by packing food we could cook for breakfast and dinners because of the kitchenette showed in the pictures. Sadly when we tried to make our pizza the oven began to to get really smokey and it set off our smoke alarm. When the oven cooled and we looked inside there was food spilt all over the bottom of it. We proceeded to use the stove top and the same thing happened setting off our fire alarm again. This was very upsetting due to the fact we spent money on our planned meals that had to be thrown out.

Could use a better cleaning, Like the floors! Walking barefoot our feet were black, and if I spilled something I wiped it up and it was darker colour than it should have been! Overall, it worked for us!

The only thing about this place, is its convenience and price.

We arrived at 8pm and we were told that there was no more hot water and we needed to wait. We waited until 10pm and still no hot water. The beds were way too soft and haven’t been replaced in 20yrs! Horrible sleep!

Door handle is old and difficult to open with key. The coffee maker plug did not reach the outlet. The wifi/ internet did not work very well in our room.

Loved having the beds in 2 separate rooms. Having a back deck was nice also. The provided dishes, pots, dish soap paper towels. You really could cook simple meals without difficulty. Location was great.

The wifi was a bit spotty and the Roku was difficult to use. Also the pool was a bit far but nothing that would prevent me from staying there again. I wish checkout was 11 not 10.

Rooms aren't cleaned daily. You have to set your dirty towels outside to get them replaced. They take them and return some later on. We ran out of toilet paper and requested some from the cleaning lady, 3 hours later a roll was placed outside on the rusted out air conditioner unit. Requested a cot which was approved at no charge, then when we arrived they wanted $30 extra a night. Way over priced for what you get... they use to have breakfast and stuff there but nothing now. All the staff are asian and will not acknowledge you. I asked 3 different ladies for supplies for our room and they literally turned their head like I wasn't even there... if it wasn't for the good location and half decent pool this place would have nothing going for it.

stayed there 9 times in past 40 yrs. always love the location and staff and community front field. great pool! Barbecue was great, eveing fire was nice, grocery and liquor across the street.Food was good everywhere.

this time it felt old and patched together with low quality towels, soaps and kitchen equipment..old toaster not working etc. Asian staff did not always understand english. That roku tv is almost impossible to get going, the portable remote on AC should have clearer directions. too bad the temp dropped from 30 to 15 so we missed the beach and wore jackets all day at the sansdspit.

Close proximity from everything in cavendish. Lots of good amenities to have. We had everything we needed.

Smelled like an old camp. It was also very humid in our room and everything felt damp. It took some time before hot water came.

The location was great. The staff worked hard and were lovely. We loved having an area to cook and store food. We had what we needed, but there certainly was not any bells and whistles

The rooms were dated which was OK, but the bathtub really needed new sealing around it as it was discolored. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable,functional but really not great. The chairs inside the room and on the deck area were also uncomfortable, was not really pleasant to sit and eat/chat.

This property was great. It was in the heart of Cavendish so close to everything. You could walk to sandspit you could walk to the grocery store or the liquor store and there was a delicious restaurant right next-door as well. Inside was spacious, clean and we had access to the "backyard" from inside our room. Plus there was a BBQ outside and a back porch. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom had lots of towels and face cloths, the kitchen had utensils and dishes for us to use. It was great.

There's nothing I didn't like. If I was going to be critical I would say it would look even nicer and less outdated with new fresh paint and new floors throughout but it's not necessary to enjoy the stay. I prefer keeping the price low and I will note the beds were clearly new mattresses. They were nice and comfortable.

How close it was to all the main attractions

Room smelled bad, beds were uncomfortable beyond measure, did not look clean, earwigs, only gave 1 towel a person for the 2 nights we stayed. The pool was not as advertised, I think they consider “heated” because the sun shines on it. Freezing cold. Not worth the money.

The door handle needs to be changed and the deadbolt doesn’t work. The oven doesn’t work either in the unit I had. The king bed was very comfortable but no extra pillows. On the up side, the shower was excellent

Difficulté a avoir des essuie mains pour 5 personnes, je leur demandais et on en avait toujours 4. La première nuit, il y avait beaucoup bruit dans la chambre a coté dehors. C'était après 11h et on a pas pu vous contacter. Mais ça va pas nous empêcher d'y retourner car vous m'avez écrit le lendemain.

it worked for a night. it was very old, and newly renovated on the interior. Okay, but not b=my first choice

The motel is very old. It has a strong moldy smell for our entire stay. The hotel staff told us it smells because the property is old. Nothing they could do other than an air spray. Nobody came to clean the room. For the price we paid it’s not worth it. It’s acceptable /ok otherwise. Close to the cavendish beach.

Pas de surveillance sur les terrains de l’hôtel et certains voisins ont laissé des déchets et fait la fête le soir. L’intérieur des armoires sentaient horriblement mauvais, même si la vaisselle comme telle, était propre.

This property was close to all the amenities that Cavendish has to offer. Check in was easy, property was clean with good services.

It was okay for our one night stay, will not return. The outside door knob was loose, had difficulty opening the door with the key. In the bathroom the towel bar was loose, there was mold behind the toilet, the tap for the shower was not working properly. The outside of the property needs some TLC

The beds were really hard and barley any hot water,you were lucky to have one person get a shower with hot water.Also I think $40 PER NIGHT PLUS TAX for a dog was a little outrageous and that we had to keep going to the office for toilet paper

Loved that the unit was clean. Old but clean. Blankets and foam pad available upon request. Pets permitted with extra charge. Loved the kitchenette and barbeques. The place was quiet even though there were children in other units. The proximity to attractions, beaches, shopping and all areas of PEI was excellent.. I will definitely return.

Room was nothing special but was clean. The reason for 3 stars is because they charged us $40 for a night for our small 6 pound dog travelling with us. Everywhere we stayed all over Atlantic Canada charged max of $25 night. Felt like price gouging to us.

Great place to stay. Our room was great. The kitchenette to make your own food was great so you don't have to eat at a restaurant for every meal. Very close to all of the fun things for kids in Cavendish.

The property is quite old even though it's renovated. This was the only night we stayed in Cavendish and it was quite a surprise that the office only open until 6 PM and the check in time starts at 3 PM. It seems quite short hours for a motel. Also there was only a small soap provided and we could not request for additional soap once the office is closed. But the motel is located in a convenient location.

Clean and comfortable beds!

Comfy beds, they had a rollaway bed for us when we asked, for an extra 30 a night though which is kind of steep. Ground coffee, sugar, coffee mate available with a little coffee maker. Bathroom seemed newly tiled/renovated. Wifi was pretty good. Location is great, right next door to chez Yvonne restaurant and on the other side it's very close to the entrance to shining waters. Right opposite the convenience and souvenir store

Could've been cleaner. There was dust on the baseboards and debris under the beds and tables. The bath only filled a third of the way before the hot water ran out and after waiting 20 mins to try and top up the water was still only lukewarm coming from the tap so had to abandon the bath altogether. Not the motels fault but there were loud guests banging and shouting next door that woke us up very early in the morning. Again not the motels fault but the road is very busy during tourist season so it's extremely hard to cross with children if you're on foot to go to sandspit or the attractions that are across the road. We had to walk down a ways towards the fish and chip shop to cross more safely where we could see the traffic better and we didn't have the entrances and exits of the motel, restaurant and convenience store. Still took about 5 mins each time to wait for a safe spot to cross unless someone takes mercy and stops for you!

Hardest mattress I’ve ever slept on. They definitely don’t clean under the beds between guests and pool was very cloudy. Kids had a good time so that’s all that matters.

Convenient location. Polite staff. Very pricey for the type of accommodation. Limited office hours. Couldn't get a receipt upon check out because the office wasn't open.

I liked the location

The buildings need lots of repairs, stairs were rotted to our upstairs unit, unsafe.... very outdated, bbqs are very old, ours didn't work so asked to have it fixed, they did but only one side worked. The beds were hard as a rock. stove in room only one burner worked, and only if set on high. Some electrical outlets had burn marks like it set a fire in a plug. Had to have hair dryer replaced it only blew cold air. Check in is 3pm Office closes at 6pm and check out is 10am. Didn't recieve fresh towels until 3pm. Randomn stains on the walls, we tried to scrub them off ourselves.

Loved our stay, ideal location! Close to all things to do and explore. The only thing I feel they could improve on is the beds, I felt they were all a bit too stiff. But other than that it was great! Would highly recommend and would definitely be back !
