Lakeview Lodge and Cottages

Although a little aged and in need of some refurbishment, the cottage had all the facilities we needed. Apart from the quality of the bed, it suited our needs very well.

The bed in our Deluxe Duplex Cottage (No. 24) needs to be replaced. It sags into the middle and was very uncomfortable.

Arrived late, the staff was very accommodating. Cottage was perfect for 2. Price was amazing for the 2 nights

Located right on the main road. Easy access to the beach. Lots of space. Full kitchen. Lots of extra towels.

Granny decorations. Blankets and comforters are old. Bedding could use an update.

Obviously great location, cottages while maybe Charming are really quite dated.

Front desk staff less than friendly, bed terribly uncomfortable, crappy old mattress. Lots of little notes everywhere do not do this do not do that.

Staff were great and the heated pool and hot tub were awesome!

It wasn't as clean as I would have liked it, I found an unused pamper behind the couch.

The location was perfect and very central for the places I wanted to visit. The place was very quiet and super easy to access. I loved how the cottage supplied us with silverware, pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups, dish soap, dish cloth and towels. The ice cube trays in the freezer were also handy to have. The staff was super friendly and even gave us recommendations of places to find things we were looking for! I liked they had a list printed out of all the tv channels with what was on which one next to the remote.

The only thing I can think of that I didn't like was the musty smell of the place. It didn't smell like cleaner or freshness. There was also 2 pills on the floor next to the bed. I noticed them when I went to plug in my phone to put on the nightstand.

Convenient area. Like the layout of the cottage.

Sometimes noisy being next to someone but it might have been that way for them also. Terrible weather was disappointing but not Lakeviews fault. Lol

The cabin was cozy. The bed was comfortable. Small but cute. The pool was heated it was very nice. Staff was very helpful

Die gute Lage, der schöne Garten, es war sauber, Pool und Hot Tub beheizt und gepflegt. In der Küche war das Nötigste vorhanden. Gut und günstig war die Möglichkeit zu waschen und zu trocknen.

Die Ausstattung der Cottages war alt und abgewohnt.

It was spacious and quiet.

Everything worked fine but looked a little tired.

It was really nice to be right on the main street in Cavendish without any of the noise that you would think would come along with it. They had plenty of room options to choose from when booking with them.

The property could do with some updating, but it was a great place to stay overall.

Bien situé, lits confortables! Le personnel est très gentil. Pas de problèmes à avoir plus de serviettes et elles sont propres! La piscine est vraiment bien entretenue et propre! Un gros atout!

Les cottages (chalets) ont besoin de rénovations et d’amour! Nous avions un chalet à 2 chambres et une salle de bain. Tout était propre mais ça sentait l’humidité surtout dans la salle de bain.

Il est très bien situé, très près des pistes cyclables et aussi beaucoup de bons restaurants à proximité. On a beaucoup aimé la piscine!

Les cottages ont un âge certain, ce que ne reflètent pas les photos, cependant on s’en accommode très bien car c’est propre et les lits étaient confortables.

We stayed in number 11 , The room was clean but yet smelled very musty the shower was great lots of pressure the toilet was questionable ,The property stated that their was a separate bedroom and there was not we stayed with our daughter witch ended up sleeping right next to us . also stated their was an outside dining area for our room we did not have that either

Mould around the bath tub ,top and along the floor. Bed so old and sagging in the middle you had to climb up hill to get out of bed. I am not exaggerating these problems, I have pictures to back up these claims.

Posizione molto comoda, vicino alla spiaggia. La casetta è una sorta di bungalow con terrazzino esterno. Molto comodo il barbecue di cui ogni bungalow è dotato.

Arredamento molto molto datato e cucina veramente piccola in cui era difficile cucinare. I fornelli non funzionavano e abbiamo dovuto usare il fornello elettrico che per fortuna era presente (la sera dopo abbiamo usato il barbecue esterno). Lavello minuscolo e lavare i piatti e le pentole è stato complicatissimo. La tv trasmetteva un solo canale.

unlike last year , our living room and kitchen were all one big room which was a little inconvenient but not the end of the world.

Loved this cottage! The room was very large, kitchenette and BBQ was included so we could cook easily. Tub and other amenities were great too! We loved the fact there was everything in the room including the mini fridge and kitchen utensils. The best part was that this property was fairly large, but the tere was no noise from other units, which made for a peaceful stay. The outdoor area was clean, well-maintained, and inviting. The pool and hot tub were exceptionally clean and clearly very well looked after it was one of the most enjoyable swimming experiences I've had in a long time. For the price, this place offers incredible value. The location is also excellent, with everything conveniently nearby, so we had a fantastic time.

Other than the bed being a bit too soft for my liking, which left my back a little sore, everything was perfect.

Bien aimé l'emplacement et la plage cavendish ! Avons adoré notre séjour! Notre duplex était bien avec tout le nécessaire pour en profiter ! Là piscine était super propre et agréable ! L'eau était à une belle température !

Accommodating staff. My daughter is sensitive to different laundry detergents. I asked if her sheets could be washed in cold water to wash out the irritants and the staff was accommodating which made our stay much more comfortable.

Das Badezimmer hatte ein Fenster, was schon mal von Vorteil ist. Es ließ sich aber nicht öffnen, was wir sofort nach der Ankunft bemängelten. In den 4 Tagen unseres Aufenthaltes hat der Manager das Problem nicht gelöst. Von den 2 Fenstern je 2 im Schlafzimmer und 2 im Wohnbereich ließ sich nur jeweils eines öffnen. Zum Arretieren des Fensters hatte man im Schlafzimmer ein Holzstück dazugelegt, um es dazwischen zu klemmen, damit es nicht wieder runterrutscht, im Wohnbereich haben wir dann eine kleine Wasserflasche dazwischen geklemmt, damit das Fenster oben bleibt. Die Untermatratze hatte keinen Bezug. Der Esstisch, welcher notdürftig geflickt wurde, war mit einer unansehnlichen Wachstischdecke bedeckt...?!? Tropfender Wasserhahn im Bad. Als wir die Schubladen in der Küche aufzogen, kamen uns fast 1cm große Ameisen entgegen und hinter den Vorhängen tummelten sich die Motten!

Our cottage didn’t have a front porch to sit on like all of the others. No space to pull out the sofa couch. It was dirty under the sofa couch so we didn’t end up using it.

Really good location to Cavendish beach and grocery. Staff is so nice. Swimming pool and hottub is a plus. Bbq and laundry are so convenient.

Our cottage was on the back side of the property and we really appreciated the quiet .

Miła obsługa dostępna w recepcji, sprawne zameldowanie, możliwe zostawienie kluczy wcześniej niż godziny pracy recepcji. Ładny zadbany teren całego ośrodka, zielono. Blisko do Zielonego Wzgórza i ważnych punktów w Cavendish. Zlokalizowany przy głównej drodze, łatwo znaleźć. Czysto, dobrze przygotowany, wygodne łóżka, wygodna łazienka, telewizor i wyposażona kuchnia. Na zewnątrz grill, stół z krzesłami i leżaki.

Domki już mają trochę lat, w niektórych miejscach przydałoby się odświeżyć niektóre elementy (okna na zewnątrz, elewacja). Miałam problem zamknąć drzwi, ale poprosiłam obsługę o pomoc i natychmiast pomogli.

It was in a quiet location

The cabin was overfurnished. The old fridge and cooktop just didn't work, so get rid of them! The decor was old and dated and the entire cabin needed upgrading. They could be lovely, but just didn't hit the mark.

pool and hot tub were unavailable during our stay, which contributed to our booking lake view. towels for showering were also tiny and unable to cover a normal sized adult. more kitchen ware (can opener) would be helpful. otherwise, kitchen was nicely stocked and nice to have BBQ.

You loved the little kitchen and Homie feel to the place. We did not like our noisy neighbours (1:40 am noise!) and the fact that the staff were not proactive and did not knock on the door when the complaint came in…rather said we should notify them if it happened again… We felt that they should have been told they had been noisy… also it would be good if laundry detergent was sold in the laundry room… Especially travel size. Often travellers don’t have that need to do laundry overall we would come back thank you.

Il n'y avait pas de petit déjeuner, comme demandé à cette question... Tout était très bien, la cuisinette avec tout ce dont on avait besoin, le confort, l'emplacement. Très tranquille, belle galerie ou s'asseoir et beau terrain.

L’emplacement, on était à quelques pas de certaines attractions, de resto, de dépanneur, d’épicerie et de la plage. La cabine avait tout ce qu’il fallait comme équipement pour cuisiner et il y avait même un bbq à l’extérieur. Lits confortables et cabine très propre. Il y a également piscine et spa extérieur.
