Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Koos is the backbone of the hotel. Helped with carrying of bags, maintenance, was even our waiter during meals. Excellent staff member. Meals were good. Wi-Fi worked well. Water pressure of the shower was great. Bed was comfortable and room was clean.
Our under floor heating was left on (likely by mistake, but was eventually shut off). The aircon could not counter the heat making the room feel quite stuffy. Underground parking is tight.

The breakfast is limited. The first time I went, they served a buffet breakfast, and this time around it was à la carte. I personally don't like à la carte breakfast at hotels, mostly because it is limited and also you have to wait for it to be prepared. The reason I chose a hotel over a guesthouse is that guesthouses serve a limited breakfast.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026Always the best 👌 they don't disappoint. Luxurious hotel with premium furnishings. Forever clean. Well trained staff, always welcoming. We had mouthwatering dinner and breakfast. It is located at the corner of a busy road, but you can't hear any disturbing sounds. Definitely coming back for the 3rd time.
Not a train smash, but can the check-out time be 11H00 if possible 🤭

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026The whole experience was EXCELLENT!!! :-) :-) :-) The 2 rooms we rented were very luxurious. The Lady and Gentleman who assisted us with :- 1. Booking in 2. Parking in the Hotel Basement 3.Assisting with getting our luggage in our Rooms 4. Serving our Dinner which was exceptional 5. Making sure the Fire in the fireplace was keeping us warm as it was really very cold. WELL DONE
The GPS did not take us directly to the Hotel. It did give us a bit of a run-around in the suburbs.

The lack of lifts or escalator is a challenge especially for old people to climb the stairs is an unpleasant experience.

My experience was watered down by the unavailability of hot water on Sunday morning. The annoying thing is that I called reception and no one answered, which meant I had to put on a gown and walk to reception. I found no one by the desk but there was a voice coming from behind the wall, there she was, on her cell phone chatting. It was worse when she indicated that they not even aware of their their hot water issue and told me that other guest had hot water, that escalated my irritation. It took more than 20min to get back to me on desirable solution, so i opted to bath at home in Johannesburg instead.

Reviewed Apr 2, 2026The staff is VERY friendly and professional. Due to my schedule, the kitchen packed my breakfast as a takeaway for work, which was lovely. I felt like royalty and found it very helpful that the reception desk is in the middle of the foyer.
Nothing, everything was great. I noticed an Anique Spa within walking distance and wish that I had known about it beforehand or during my stay.
