Het geluid 's avonds laat en 's nachts. Blijkbaar toeristen met yetleg. We namen een duurdere kamer met de hoop op uitzicht kasteel. Nou helaas.

Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Top gelegen, alles zum " Königszauber" gut erreichbar, Blick direkt auf das Schloss, sehr hilfsbereites Personal, findet gute Lösungen zu Problemen. Ein Fehler wurde zeitnah und zur unseren vollen Zufriedenheit gelöst.
E-Bike Batterien dürfen nicht im Zimmer geladen werden. Ein sicherer Platz zum Unterstellen ja, aber auch hier keine Lademöglichkeit. Ladung im Freien, wir hatten Sonnenwetter.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Die Lage ist für einen Besuch am Alpsee und die Besichtigung der Ludwig Schlösser oder einer Veranstaltung im Festspielhaus Neuschwanstein bestens. Die Kutschen und Transferbusse (auch für das Festspielhaus) fahren nur wenige Meter vom Hotel entfernt ab. Der schöne Alpsee ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Da wir mehrere Tage übernachtet haben, wurde unsere gebuchtes Zimmer sogar kostenlos auf eine Suite upgegradet.
Die Parkplatzsituation ist etwas angespannt. Das freundliche Personal ist aber sehr hilfreich, falls der Parkplatz gerade voll sein sollte.

Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Our stay at Hotel Müller was truly exceptional. The rooms were beautiful, and all of our rooms had wonderful views of Neuschwanstein Castle. Waking up and seeing this iconic castle from our rooms made the experience incredibly special and is something we will always remember. The housekeeping was meticulous, and everything was maintained with great care and attention to detail. What stood out just as much as the hotel itself was the staff. Everyone we encountered was welcoming and always smiling. The reception team was extremely accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. The restaurant staff were proactive and attentive, and the service felt genuinely personal rather than simply routine. The history and character of Hotel Müller also made our stay particularly meaningful. Staying here felt like much more than simply staying at a hotel — it felt like being part of the history and atmosphere of Hohenschwangau, even if only for a few days. We were very happy to have had that experience. I would also like to offer a sincere apology to the gentleman who was working at the crystal shop on the evening of September 10. We walked in and immediately started speaking in English without first asking whether he spoke English. He was offended by this and expressed his feelings to us verbally. It was our second visit to the shop, and because we already knew from our previous visit that the staff spoke English, we simply started the conversation in English without thinking. There was absolutely no disrespect intended toward him, the German language, or local culture. Overall, Hotel Müller gave us a wonderful and memorable experience. Between the spectacular location, incredible views of Neuschwanstein Castle, beautiful rooms, meticulous housekeeping, excellent service, and genuinely welcoming staff, this was one of those stays that became an important part of the trip itself.
Its about time to upgrade the spring mattresses.

Bebida de cortesía a la llegada y descuentos en tiendas del hotel. Parking gratis hasta incluso terminar la visita del segundo castillo. La habitación tenía terraza compartida con vistas al castillo.
Las paredes de la habitación eran algo finas y se oía las alarmas de los vecinos. No tiene aire acondicionado y pasamos mucho calor.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026Freundlicher Check-in, freundliches Personal beim Frühstück, perfekte Lage für Erkundungen rund um Neuschwanstein. Kostenloser Parkplatz direkt am Hotel (wenn man Glück hat und zur rechten Zeit da ist), Aufzug im Hotel, netter Welcome Drink. Hilfsbereite Rezeption.
Die Zimmer und die Einrichtungen sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, außerdem war unser Zimmer oberhalb der Küche und wir haben am frühen Morgen anstatt frischer Luft den Duft gebratener Eier abgekriegt. Der Parkplatz ist zu klein für so viele Zimmer, wenn man Pech hat sind alle Plätze belegt und man muss auf den weiter entfernten P1 ausweichen.

Reviewed Jul 21, 2026La posizione è eccellente, di fronte vi è la strada che conduce al castello di Neuschwanstein mentre a pochi minuti a piedi vi è il lago. Il personale è super disponibile e gentile. C’è possibilità di parcheggio gratuito, fondamentale per chi viaggia in macchina. Per quanto riguarda il cibo, abbiamo provato solo la colazione e ne siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti.

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026Hotel was in the perfect location for visiting the castles. Nearby lake made for a great afternoon cooldown after touring the castles. Staff were super friendly and accommodating, they allowed us to keep our car parked in the lot after check out so we could tour the castles and spend some time at the lake. Breakfast was fantastic.
Lack of AC would be the only negative, but the weather was abnormally warm during our visit so not really a fault, a fan was provided and helped substantially.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026There is not much I can share to give everyone at Muller Hotel the right description as everyone we encountered is just amazing and helpful. The front reception are so sweet. The restaurant staff are so helpful and well mannered especially Alexander during dinner. The welcome drink at the reception and the complimentary drinks at the restaurant are another sign of the hotel and staff generosity. Thank you everyone we encountered during our stay.
The hotel did not have any air-conditioning in any of the rooms and unfortunately the whole region had a terrible heat wave, however, every room was equipped with fans which made a little difference. However, this will not stop me of considering Muller Hotel on my next visit to the region.

For a big hotel, which isn’t usually my choice, this had a personal feel. Parking was easy & free. Dogs welcome & were supplied with beds & bowls. Walking round the lake was so impressive make sure you go fr enough you can look back & get both castles together in a photo - stunning
Only criticism was the restaurant menu was limited throughout all courses. We ate at 7.30pm, served our starter & had almost finished before the wine arrived, & yes we had already reminded them. When it came to dessert there was only one choice as the chef had finished for the day. We certainly weren’t the last guests to go for dinner. On the plus side dogs were welcome in the restaurant & there was plenty of space.

Leider versprühten die sanitären Einrichtungen des Zimmers den Charm der 80/90-er. Eine Modernisierung würde sich durchaus positiv bemerkbar machen und dann auch das Verhältnis zum Übernachtungspreis plausibilisieren. Ungeachtet dessen, in Punkto Sauberkeit gibt es nichts zu monieren.

Reviewed Jul 9, 2026Horse and buggy to Neuschwanstein Castle directly across the road. Very helpful and friendly reception. Rooms are very well kept, not modern but fit the theam of the area.
Not a fault of the hotel but everything in the area seems to close very early.

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026Location - Right opposite the horse carriage stand to Neuschwanstein Castle. Staff - very friendly and willing to help with information and tickets for the castle, even before we arrived. Car park onsite - but on a first come first serve basis. Bed - comfortable beds that generated good sleep. Fans provided during the heatwave was very helpful. Our 3 balcony rooms together as a family group was much appreciated.
The separate toilet was a good idea but it should have a good ventilation fan in the cubicle. The restaurant prices were not good value for money.

Reviewed Jul 3, 2026Our room was absolutely fantastic. They upgraded us to the best balcony and largest balcony in the hotel. The location could not have been more central to the two castles that we wanted to see. The beautiful lake was also great for swimming. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent and so was the food.
There was nothing that we did not like.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026The hotel provided us a room with a direct view of Neuschwanstein castle upon arrival as one was available. A very kind gesture made even without us making that special request. They also provided us window seating in their restaurant for dinner during our stay that again provided us a view of the castle enhancing our dining experience.

Loved the rooms .Has been my dream since a child to stay to visit Neuschwanstein Castle and not only did that come true but also staying in a hotel overlooking the castle . Perfect location . Out room had a cute balcony too. Front desk staff were amazing and so accommodating regarding my elderly mother . Breakfast was very good . Would highly recommend
