Everything!
Nothing!!
I love the that there were multiple restaurants to choose from and that snacks were also available until midnight
I didn't like how short my stay was, it should have been longer lol
Personnel souriant et dynamique , hôtel propre et accueillant.
Le buffet était un peu vide quelque fois
Excellent petit déjeuner.hotel très accueillant,confortable,personnel très chaleureux,endroit calme .a refaire !
The WiFi worked seamlessly throughout the property. Because I was there for work, that was important to me.
This is my second time there. It would be great if the breakfast could start earlier, for example at 6:30 instead of 7:00 am
L’attention et la gentillesse du personnel
Like now, the Facility is very clean .Staff always willing to help the location is not far from Castries
If I have to say one thing didn't like . Some if the meat could of cook a little more besides that the food was good
Food, staff and facilities were great.
Small shower area
Everything The staff were so helpful The facilities were first class
The free shuttle to the beach and town did not run on Wednesday or Sunday. Perhaps a second driver could be employed to ensure guests have the option of days out every day
La propreté , le personnel, l accueil , l ambiance , le confort , la tranquillité, la nourriture
Pour la nourriture qui était excellente des produits locaux, tels que du lambi, et des grillades seraient un plus.
Good facilities. The room was comfortable and felt modern and looked after enough. The eating area in the balcony was one of the highlights
The food was mediocre. The male staff would make too many uncomfortable comments about myself, which as a woman traveling alone was not pleasant. Female staff looked like they were forced to be there. Apart from the reception staff, who were generally the nicest, all the other did less than the bare minimum. The beach that you have free transfer is not that great
The hotel is not very big so you could get around easily. The staff were amazing. The evening entertainment was very good and varied. The staff made a great effort but it wasn't always to peoples liking but we loved it! There was a shuttle that ran hourly to the beach and the town market. The views from the hotel were beautiful. Peaceful during the day. Great range of cocktails to enjoy.
The hotel is dated and could do with a refresh. We has problems with hot water but this may have been during peak usage times. The food at thr main restaurant was very limited and the quality depended on the chef on duty. Food was much better at the pool bar. Unfortunately the beach bar was not including in the all inclusive package. If you walk into the town, be prepared for a hard uphill walk back to the hotel.
Everything the staff were amazing
Nothing
I LIKE THE SHUTTLE SERVICE TO YHE BEAVH AND CASTRIES. I LIKE THE WAY STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. EVEN WHEN THEIR WAS AN ISSUE THEY DEAL EITH IT IMMEDIATELY AND RESOLVE TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM. THE FOOD WAS GREAT SND THE VIEWS WAS LOVELY. THE COACH FOR THE MORNING EXERCISE WAS GREAT.

I enjoyed the location, the views and the protection overhead when walking between locations on the property in preparation for weather conditions.
There weren’t entertainment options on the property beside the two pools which you cannot play any personal music on speakers for an ambiance, only in your headphones.
The setting was beautiful on a hill. The views were amazing. We stayed 4 nights and wish it was longer. The staff were mainly friendly. We attended the managers cocktail on a Monday night. We went to the Carribean BBQ on the Thursday where there was a steel band and a fire limbo show. On Wednesday, we went into the a la cart resteraunt. Beautiful food. We got the free shuttle bus to vigie Beach, which was stunning, and had a horseback ride for 50ecd, which was amazing along the beach. There are free sunbeds and umbrellas for hotel guests. And you can get drinks cold and very cheap. There is someone there that is from the hotel who watches over your things if you want to go for a walk. The shuttle bus also goes into Castries if you want to go to the markets. We spent the rest of the time by the lower pool, which has its own self-serve bar. If you want cocktails that are delicious, you can get them from lulu's cabin, which is only a few steps up. The food was delicious, and for those wanting more snack items, then lulu's bar serves burgers, fish chips, nachos salads sandwiches cakes ice cream ect throughout the day. There is also a coffee shop tgat has cookies. There is entertainment at night. Singers and karaoke and DJ night all in the veranda where meals are served.
We liked everything, just a bit disappointed with the view from the room. I booked an ocean view, and although I could see the ocean, were trees ect in way which I wasn't expecting.Just think this needs to be made clearer when booking. The food was also delicious but felt that there could be alternative accompaniments with food as I dont like rice and most days were just rice and salad so I ate meat. Now you could eat at the other bar so there are alternatives, but that would have meant eating separately from partner. But these are very minor and did not detract from the wonderful experience.
Beautiful site and grounds, with views over Castries. Two, nice pools. Wonderful friendly, helpful staff. The food was good and tasty, but…(see below).
Initially we were put in probably the worst ground floor room, 101, right next to a public walkway. However we moved to a lovely room, 108, the next day. Most of the food was tasty with a home cooked feel, however, most of it was put out buffet style and was NOT kept hot enough. Dish after dish was tepid. That was disappointing. It really should be kept piping hot. The last night I got food poisoning. I was unwell for The next 36 hours. I can’t know for sure what caused it, partly because I ate lots of different things. But I didn’t eat anything outside of the hotel, so something inside caused it. I told the desk the next morning. I think they said “sorry to hear that” (or something similar), but they were disinterested and there was no real concern or apology. Most all inclusive hotels have more fresh-cooked options, not just pre-prepared things put out in (supposedly) warming devices.
Excellent staff friendly efficient and looks like they are having a great time at work as well as with the customers
Good breakfast and good location
A bit isolated from any amenities
The resort was nice the food was horrible the drinks was good. Staff was friendly some of them.
I didn’t like the property because I ordered an birthday package for my birthday and the fruit platter was molded within hours
• Small size – one gets to befriend most of the guests and know the staff. • The room was great – large room, ocean view (a bit more expensive), cozy balcony, comfortable beds, modern bathroom • Nice, helpful staff (Fabiana, Madrina, Belinda, Devon, Alvin, …) • Jeffries who ran by himself a lot of activities (Aquafit, Yoga, Pilates, trips outside the resort). Shared a lot of interesting info about the island. . Not bothered by smoking (like in other resorts). Smokers had their own designated areas so the rest (90% of us) would not be inconvenienced. • Badminton and ping-pong facilities. • The grounds are well maintained. • Two pools with plenty of beach chairs for everyone. • The “big boss” (Dean) is always there keeping an eye on things and interacting with guests. Even helping out. • Shuttle to the nice beach and to town.
• Rather small buffet with mostly (very) hot/spicy food. My wife and I have a big issue with hot food (chili, Cajun, black pepper, curry). We traveled all over Europe and had NO issue with the food. Even in Mexico and the Dominican Republic we had plenty of “non-hot” choices. Here most staff has no idea what non-hot food mean. At the cabana we were offered “non-hot” burgers that had big time Cajun pepper in them or, in the buffet, some meat with “non-hot” sauce containing … chili pepper. Eventually, after talking to chief Dean, the cooks Devin and Alvin took us under their wing and helped us “navigate” the food scene – even preparing some special meals for us. (Is this maybe the reason the hotel guests seem to be exclusively British and North-American – not European?) • One cannot walk from the hotel to the beach or to town. The road is narrow and winding and has no sidewalk; even the cars have a hard time navigating it (it is a miracle they do).
The food and the entire vibe
My fridge had nothing inside no water and no drinks
Breakfast and coffee was good
No hot water and shower and sink were backed up and water was terrible when drain backed up. They had no extra rooms so we had no hot shower that day. Be careful on steps as they have yellow trip plates on each step. Reception staff were not reasonable when asked to hold luggage for 24 hours as we were checking in again the next day. Not a 4 star service you would expect.
The room and food
Everything was ok
Dining, good experience
Expectations were met
Great view over Castries. Incredible friendly and attentive staff. The hotel is not so big and never crowded with other guests. Shuttle to beach and to the city center is a bonus.
Virtually nothing.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The view from the property was beautiful. The food was a decent selection and well cooked!
Very relaxing and an cozy
I liked the pools and the staff
The room had a very strong smell, the bathroom drain was clogged
Friendly staff, food was great. Loved the view
Very friendly staff. Nice big rooms. Very clean. Good was good.
The sea view from the room balcony and sunset view over the island was great. Delicious cocktails. Freshly made lunches at the snack bar was good and the pools not too busy. Friendly staff. Welcome drinks in a cool air conditioned room.
Dinner wasn't the best. Lots of boney chicken and dry fish. Fresh pasta night was good though and I did enjoy the stir fried beef on Chinese night. Slow to replace things that run out though. Room wasn't ready at check in time
This hotel was absolutely a dream. They cater to your needs and the food was exceptional. Friendly staff and you really can't beat the view from the veranda restaurant. Bel Jou has made it hard for me to visit st Lucia and not stay at their hotel. Did I mention the A+ cleanliness? Thank you for the wonderful experience you gave my wife and I. Your staff made our honeymoon unforgettable. Much love from the Trini couple.
This is a very nice place. The food was good there was a lot to choose from. The room was neat and clean and very spacious. They provided everything. There is a free shuttle service to the beach. The staff are very friendly. It was great staying at Bel Jou.
Nothing evrything was good.
Everything was great
Bel Jou Hotel in Castries is a wonderful place to stay with truly awesome views across the Caribbean Sea and all the way to Martinique 🇲🇶. Waking up to that view never gets old and is genuinely breathtaking. The staff are absolutely amazing. Always smiling, always helpful and they really make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Their warmth and friendliness are a huge part of what makes this hotel special. The wildlife around the hotel is stunning. Hummingbirds dart past the balconies, bull finches are everywhere, butterflies fill the gardens and the colours of the plants are vibrant and striking. It feels calm, tropical and very natural. Vegetarian food options are limited but the kitchen did try their best to accommodate and provide alternatives, which was appreciated. Overall a lovely hotel with unforgettable views, beautiful nature and exceptional staff that make your stay feel relaxed and special.
The hotel needs modernizing a little & the rooms would benefit with dehumidifiers. On one morning the fruit at breakfast ran out and soya milk was also unavailable, which was a small disappointment but did not detract too much from the overall experience.
"Stayed 5 nights and it was a bit of a mixed experience. The hotel was not a all inclusive but more like a 'semi-all-inclusive' package which meant extras like room service and bottled water came with an added cost. The atmosphere leaned towards a more mature crowd, feeling less vibrant for younger guests. Overall, a calm retreat but check the details if you're after more perks or a lively vibe.
The Bel Jou Hotel was clean with two very nice pools. The gym was okay but I would suggest better spinning bikes. Breakfast was amazing and dinner at the Hummingbird was fabulous. What really makes the Bel Jou a great hotel to stay at is the exceptional service from the staff. Princess and Keisha are two staff members who are outstanding. I have traveled the world and have visited many different hotels. The Bel Jou Hotel has the best customer service and staff that I have ever encountered. We are looking forward to our next visit.
The only 2 staff members that were nice or cordial were Mikey, Dana, and a nice young lady during checkin (she had two buns in her hair and wore glasses)-never got her name. Everyone else were rude. the workers looked at you as if you owed them something or didnt want to serve you. 2 days I went to eat and had to flag down the server to get a drink. it was another rude lady at lulus on saturday for lunch she was rude during breakfast saturday morning as well. I'm not understanding why she was so hostile. I told her about my order she said it would be a wait then walked off, but stared at my table the entire time as if she didnt care about the food. then once I finally got my food it was cold!!!!! I want a refund!
The rooms and shower was FILTY, mold, dirt, hairbefore I even showered, then on top of that, dead bugs, the toilet had residue on it as if it hadnt seen a toilet brush in a while, then a dirty brush is left in the bathroom with brown feces from the previous guest-a real horrid. condom rapper was found on the balcony chair outside so the housekeepers are not thoroughly cleaning these rooms. I really felt bamboozeled on spending money for this filty place.
The room was just like a regular hotel room. Nothing fancy, but I did enjoy the veranda. Overall, it was fine for the price. The hotel was older and you can tell. It’s starting to show its age in some areas but still for the price, I thought you couldn’t beat it. It was nice and relaxing, and the staff could not have been friendlier and more accommodating! The shuttle taking you to the beach was nice in that particular beach was one of the nicer ones. I actually liked it just as well as the beach at Rodney Bay that we had to spend $30 one way for a cab ride. The food was about what I expected. It’s resort type food. I thought it was good but it’s not five star dining again, the price point paid reflected everything that I expected. Overall, I was very satisfied and I would stay there again.
Th staff was amazing, helped with everything. Loved the view when in hotel and and food was real nice . The drinks wooow .
The staff, very friendly and helpful.
The staff were very welcoming, accommodating, and professional. I truly appreciated my stay here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was always delicious, and I’ll definitely recommend this place to others and look forward to coming back in the future.
Nice property and staff
All went smoothly
Will be going back
Very clean

Loved all the staff! Friendly great cocktails! Special shout out to Jaffree for the entertainment! Special shout out to Janet /Joules also!
Entertainment in the evening wasn’t amazing- bit boring apart from BBQ night. Also could do more authentic Caribbean food more than once a week.
The peace and quiet 🤫 with relaxation 😌
Le cadre était magnifique J’ai beaucoup aimé , les petit-déjeuner/ snacks / dîners . Très belle ambiance avec le personnel
Les photos parfois vendent du rêve . Je m’attendais à une chambre plus grande et rafraîchie
Loved the staff and food. Machrain, Mikey, Joulie and Brendon went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Also front desk was very accommodating. Overall a lovely stay. The free shuttle service was nice.
The hotel was beautiful and grounds were well maintained. The staff were very accommodating and pleasant to be around.
Alles, vom super Personal über sehr gutes Essen bis saubere Hotelanlage und Zimmer. Es war alles perfekt.
Good
My experience at Bel Jou was wonderful, I would've booked an all inclusive trip and i was very impressed by the environment, staff and food. Also, it was 10 mins away from the airport so it was very convenient for me. Overall a wonderful experience
Le repas, la literie, la propreté, le calme…
Le manque d’animation prêt des piscines et le manque de divertissement niveau amusement ( billard baby foot…).
Très bel accueil, excellent, repas, personnel, accueillant, courtois, chaleureux et respectueux
Rooms were nice, the view was beautiful, and the AC worked very well! I enjoyed the pool bar area. Food was good too!
The clientele weren't very social, at all. Staff generally were friendly, but not always.
The Bel Jou hotel is nice and comfy. Food was good.
All employees are nice , it was little far from main attractions and beach but they have transportation. Everyone was very helpful, food was great ! Overall I like the hotel .
The property was decent. I felt some of the staff were a little bit rude but Madrina and the day manager were awesome! I didn’t like the quality of hygiene items. And they don’t stock your refrigerator even though it’s all inclusive.
