Bitzaro Grande Hotel & Suites

The hotel was excellent. Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The room was very clean and had a beautiful view of the pool. The staff were excellent, very friendly, and extremely helpful. The food was fantastic, from breakfast all the way through dinner. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

We had a split level suite which was spacious and had a great night peaceful sleep each night. The staff here are exceptional, all of them..

If I have to find one thing I would change, it would be to have more no sugar/diet drinks eg.7up, sprite, fanta on offer, as only had pepsi max available.

I honestly cannot recommend this hotel enough. Everything about our stay was exceptional from beginning to end. The hotel is beautiful, absolutely spotless, the location is fantastic, and the food was consistently delicious. What really made our stay special, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly warm, friendly, attentive and genuinely welcoming. You can really feel that they care about their guests, and that made such a difference throughout our stay. We had an absolutely wonderful time and left with the feeling that we had discovered a little gem. I’m so happy we chose to stay here, and I’m already looking forward to coming back. We will very likely return next year! Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so memorable. ❤️

Ευγενεστατο προσωπικό, καθαρότατο ξενοδοχείο τόσο στο δωμάτιο όσο και στους κοινόχρηστους χώρους. Το φαγητό είναι εξαιρετικό με άψογες και άπειρες επιλογές, όλη τη διάρκεια της ημέρας. Ο Νίκος στο σνακ μπαρ ήταν εξυπηρετικότατος. Άνετο κρεβάτι και πολύ καλή ηχομόνωση. Κάθε 2 μέρες είχε κάποιο λάιβ ή εκδήλωση. Οι πισίνες καθαρές όπως και οι ξαπλώστρες.

Το γυμναστήριο ήταν μέτριο αλλά τουλάχιστον υπήρχε

A quiet and very pleasant hotel, with a beautiful pool area. The food was good and, importantly for us, the dishes are clearly labelled for guests following a gluten-free diet. The staff is very friendly and the cleaning service is very good. It feels like a family-run business, with great attention to detail and genuine care for their guests.

The smell of sewage in the bathroom sometimes.

Sehr nette Leute, man hatte immer genug Snacks und Trinken, die Lage für Kalamaki war sehr zentral und die Anlage super, Pool war schön und die Zimmer auch sehr sauber

The helpfullness and enthusiasm of the staff. Everyone was so lovely to us. We were fortunate enough to get an upgrade and the room was absolutely splendid. The photos online are realistic. What you see is what you get.

Fitness suite is in urgent need of attention, many pieces of equipment unusable/ unsafe as pieces missing from pedals, rowing machine unsafe and only one treadmill operational.

Pokój był świetny. Podróżowaliśmy z ok 1,5 rocznym dzieckiem. Podłoga była przyjemnie chłodna, nie lodowata, więc dobrze pod względem chodzenia boso i raczkowania ;) świetny pomysł z oddzielną sypialnią na piętrze - to pozwoliło utrzymać miejsce do wypoczynku w porządku, a cały rozgardiasz odbywał się na dole. Pokój sprzątany codziennie i dokładnie - myta podłoga, toaleta, a co 2 dni wymieniana pościel i ręczniki. Jedzenie również było bardzo dobre. Codziennie na obiad i kolacje inne dania i duży wybór. Dania i napoje w barze przy basenie równie smaczne. Sam basen duży, czysty, leżaki i materace również czyste i wygodne. Blisko do piaszczystej plaży - kilka minut spacerem. Na co dzień mieszkamy niedaleko lotniska, więc jesteśmy przyzwyczajeni do dźwięku samolotów, jednak hotel jest na tyle blisko lotniska, że huk startujących samolotów nas nieźle zaskoczył :) można się przyzwyczaić, w nocy jest cisza.

Jedynie na śniadaniu brakowało mi świeżych owoców

Amazing food - especially dinners, comfortable room, friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended if you are first time on Zakynthos. Lots of stores and restaurants around. With car very close and convenient access to best beaches on the island

It was my 3rd stay there and not my last ! Thanks again to all the friendly personnel there, nothing is too much to ask if you have specific questions. Always a pleasure to go back !

Lovely hotel, nicely decorated, very clean. Food was of great quality. Really good value for money. Good live music on some nights. Nice balcony with each room. Not too far from the beach, too, close to the Kalamaki strip as well.

Rooms were on the small side but well-equipped. Bathroom wasn't very private if you're not a couple - the bathroom and shower are exposed, and directly opposite a mirror, only the toilet is private. Dinner could be hit-or-miss in terms of what was available, but that was to be expected. Sunbeds get taken up very early, which can be frustrating.

La clim n'était pas activée car trop tôt dans la saison. pas d'animation. Manque de fruits en libre accès, et plateaux fruits au repas peu rempli. Le matin que des fruits en sirop. Piscine un très froide début mai.

Excellent hotel. All areas spotlessly clean. Staff attentive and friendly. Rooms very well presented with all amenities. Very comfortable beds. Good selection of drinks available. Great choice of high quality food. Overall very impressed and will definitely return again in the future.

I have no complaints whatsoever

Le personnel était bienveillant, à l'écoute malgré la barrière de la langue. La restauration était diversifiée. Petit bémol mais je pense lié au début de la saison , pas d'animation. La chambre était propre et le passage journalier du service nettoyage.

Malheureusement les piscines étaient froides ( non chauffées)

Everything was perfect. We loved the buffet and snack bar. The room was spacious any very clean.

Le personnel était à l’écoute et la nourriture très correcte et variée. On a été très bien accueilli et on a pu profiter de la plage grâce a la position avantageuse de l’hôtel. Malheureusement la piscine étant non chauffée en octobre, l’eau était un peu froide mais pas impraticable. Mention spéciale pour les agents d’entretiens de la chambre d’une efficacité et gentillesse sans égal.

Le « snack bar » est dirigé d’une main de fer…

The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout! There was always enough sunbeds and cocktails were not too bad either! .

Loved our stay here. The hotel was spotless- around the pool, the room, the restaurant area were all kept to an excellent standard. Pool area was great, plenty beds for everyone without a mad rush in the mornings. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and were quick to help with any issues we had. Food was lovely throughout the day, each night better than the last. Barely a ten minute drive from the airport too.

My only complaint would have been the WiFi, which was poor in our room.

Recente ristrutturazione che ha interessato tutto il complesso e gli ha conferito uno stile moderno e minimal. Lo staff è di grande aiuto, sono tutti sorridenti e gentili, compreso il personale delle pulizie, che si prodiga a salutare ogni mattina in corridoio. Zona molto tranquilla e ottimamente posizionata rispetto alla via dei commerci e alla spiaggia di Kalamaki. Camera ben equipaggiata, con zanzariere, AC, stendino, balcone con tavolino e sedie, cassaforte. Letto comodo, con Topper. Parcheggio comodo dentro e fuori dalla struttura. Verde rigoglioso e molto curato. La cena era generalmente piuttosto buona e varia, il pasto migliore della giornata. Nelle varie uscite a Kalamaki ho prestato attenzione a tutti gli hotel che incontravo e penso di non averne visto uno migliore di Bitzaro Grande.

Soft drinks e acqua non di mio gradimento. In genere bevo acqua frizzante e in questo hotel l'acqua (sia naturale sia frizzante) era disponibile alla spina presso il ristorante. Purtroppo l'acqua frizzante aveva un vago sapore di pompelmo. Ho assaggiato tutti i soft drink alla spina giusto per capire di cosa sapessero e nessuno era di mio gusto. Ho sognato una coca cola per due settimane. Caffetteria terribile, forse la peggiore di tutti gli hotel e i resort in cui io sia stato ospite. Italiani in particolare, fate attenzione, non berrete un buon caffè espresso per la durata della vostra permanenza. L'intera struttura è dotata infatti dello stesso modello di macchinetta erogatrice di bevande calde, di pessima qualità. La colazione all'italiana non è molto meglio del caffè. Brioches, torte e affini sono piuttosto "inutili". Spesso ripiegavo sul salato, ma anche di questo non ero molto soddisfatto. In generale, voto basso alla colazione. Voto medio-basso anche al pranzo, che aveva una varietà più ridotta rispetto alla cena. In generale poi, che sia a colazione, pranzo o cena, scarsa varietà di frutta fresca e scarsa rotazione: sempre i soliti 3-4 frutti. Connessione internet scarsa, singhiozzante. Ad onor del vero però eravamo stati avvisati di un problema di connessione proprio in quei giorni, che il team tecnico stava cercando di risolvere. Non ho apprezzato molto la sala WC separata dal locale lavandino/doccia. Infatti lavandino e doccia sono aperti sulla camera, concetto molto design ma a me non gradito. Solo il WC è separato dalla camera tramite una porta. La ristrutturazione ha previsto l'uso diffuso di resine per pavimento e pareti. Qualcosa deve essere andato storto nell'applicazione della stessa, perché il pavimento della nostra stanza si "spellava", in particolare all'interno della doccia (walk-in). Si ritrovavano quindi pezzi di pellicola trasparente a spasso nel piatto doccia, o incollati ai piedi.

Das Hotelzimmer war schön eingerichtet, sauber und gemütlich. Insgesamt fand ich das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis gut.

Das Frühstück könnte jedoch besser sein – mehr frisches Obst und eine größere Auswahl am Morgen wären wünschenswert

Didn't like the open bathroom (wouldnt want to share this type of room with a friend). Would like to have had pool side drink service as couldn't get drink whilst wearing wet swimsuit.

Not a long enough break

Second time at the Bitzaro, same fantastic experienxnce !! The people working there are so friendly, they do everything to make your vacation better !! The rooms are clean, the food is good, the all-in has enough choices... If you want to have a good hotel experience at Zakynthos, don't hesitate and go there !! Good job !! There I have a godchild on the Island, I certainly will never take another hotel for sure.

The room with privet pool could be more privet. My daughter was hungry at 10:20pm and was told the kitchen closed at 21:30 she couldn’t have nothing to eat .

We stayed here in October 24, after moving from another hotel. We were instantly made to feel welcome and at home. The resort and our room was exceptionally clean. The food was wonderful and the staff all incredibly friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay again.

Wow what can I say… this hotel was nothing short of amazing. We had a perfect stay. The hotel is so clam and peaceful which is exactly what we needed. Everything is spotless and the staff are unreal. We liked that there was only some entertainment, it was amazing to just switch off and not be overstimulated.

I wouldn’t recommend for families for kids older than toddlers as it’s not really catered to children. We would’ve also like access to Netflix on the TV to watch movies after dinner since there’s not alway entertainment on but this is the only thing I would changed. We brought a fire stick but the back of the TV wasn’t accessible. This is so minor though I’ll just remember to bring an iPad next time. I cannot thank the hotel staff enough for our amazing stay!

The swimming pool and infrastructure was amazing

Not too much local food

4min drive from airport short walk to shops and the beach. The whole hotel was very clean and the À la cart was amazing. The swimming pool area was very clean and the pools were lovely. Staff are all very nice and helpful. Live the pool side room 332 we had amazing views. The food was lovely with different choices and the desserts were yummy. The planes are close but didn't bother us and they don’t have late flights due to the turtles nesting.

The hotel only had entertainment on three times and they were all singers would have been nice to see dancers or a show didn’t really bother us as we bought wine from local supermarket and played darts and had a drink on the balcony. The drinks menu wasn’t available only cocktail list so I wasn’t show what drinks they had. The room we had on last day to have shower could have had a hairdryer in the room. There was only one toilet next to stairs on pool side for the evenings and restaurants.

Everything! Staff, room (OMG, it was the most comfortable bed and pillows from all our trips), food, location, service. We arrived late (after dinner) and were surprised with the hot dinner in the room. We went for a quiet holiday and we got exactly what we wanted. Will definitely come back here again.
