Zannis Hotel

The property was in a great location thirty seconds from the beach, and a nice half an hour stroll from the old Venetian port. That walk has plenty of restaurants and bars along the way. The economy studio I stayed in was very well equipped and could be used to cater a full meal. They were really spacious, light and airy. Nice large shower room. There was a large wardrobe with storage. And a safe and hairdryer that was excellent. The beds were comfy and the studio was spotless clean on arrival and was kept that way throughout my stay. The room had a small terrace with two chairs and a table and space to hang the washing out. Towels and bed sheets changed daily. The bar and pool area were small and clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were genuinely kind.

Stanza molto grande con presenza di cucina e di ogni attrezzo essenziale necessario. Vi è anche una piscina e un bar all ingresso. L hotel non è vicinissimo al centro ma a due passi ci sono comunque tantissimi ristoranti e anche market..e vi è anke la spiaggia.

The hotel was great, small, quiet, and comfortable. Someone cleaned the room and bathroom everyday, and we were overall impressed. And the pool is lovely.

They could use better shower gels and soaps... the ones available don't wash off sun lotion. And maybe provide a bottle of water on arrival, since water costs 20 cents in Greece, not 2 EUR as in other countries... It's not about price (I could buy these myself), but about attention to detail. Some small and cheap changes could make everyone's stay amazing.

Very nice, clean hotel in a great location. The staff is very pleasant and friendly. We spent a great time in the hotel and if we come to Rethymno again we would definitely choose the Zannis hotel again. For every recommendation.

No dejaron limpia vajillas ni estropajo. No se puede llevar bebida ni comida a la piscina, salvo que la compres en el bar.

Sve je cisto i uredno,malo stariji hotel,ali idealan za miran godisnji odmor,osoblje je vrlo ljubazno i susretljivo.

Malo vise je udaljeno od centra,pa pesacenje moze da bude naporno.mada je dostupan taxi po ceni od 7 eura.

Bra läge nära stranden och restauranger. Nära till en större matbutik. Bra städat varje dag utom söndagar. Vi besökte aldrig poolen men några solsängar och en liten bar fanns vid receptionen. Trevlig personal. Perfekt boende till bra pris.

Location, staff, cleaners and facilities were fantastic, room is huge. Only negative for us was the beds were hard and not comfortable for us personally, this might not be negative for others who prefer harder beds.

A few steps from the seafront where there is a golden sand beach. Walkable along the flat into Rethymno city itself and lots to do and look at on the way as well as plenty of options in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Very nice pool and pool bar at the hotel and romantically lit up at night. Nice and peaceful.

Cleanliness was good. Fresh towels regularly too.

The carparking information on Booking.com was misleading. We had hired a car for the week so the availability of car sales was of particular importance to us. Booking.com 's information had suggested that not only on street car parking was available but there was another place where we could park. It transpired after asking questions that there had been an established relationship somewhere else but that this had expired many moons ago.

The staff is very pleasant. The rooms were cleaned every day, we received clean towels every day.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The location is very good and very near the beach and restaurants. Staff was very nice as well.

The Internet was not so good; however, the swimming pool was great. There were more likes than dislikes!

We was there for 4 days, friends came by to have a drink in the bar before we went out for lunch. The portier was very specific that the was not allowed at all to have a dip in the pool. We had our drink and when we went up to our room to change we thought that we could have a drink on the balcony before lunch. The portier ran up the stairs and when we stepped out of the elevator he said that they was not allowed to enter our room. I will NEVER stay there again.

Close to the beach. Cosy and comfortable rooms. Friendly stuff.

Staff was very friendly before and during our stay. We came early in the morning and got to check-in right away since the room was available. Careful cleaning was done every day (excl. Sunday) at the room and pool area was very neat as well. Pool hours were amazing: 7:30-19:30 and they served variaty of cocktails and other refreshments at the pool bar. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, darkening curtains and sound proof walls made us sleep like babies. Bathroom was a bit worn but for the price, overall experience was very good.

We had a great stay at Zannis hotel. Location is absolutely perfect if you are looking for beach holidays, 2min away from the beach, 35 min walk from the Old town of Rethymno. Room is being cleaned 6 times a week, very friendly personnel, big pool with a crystal clean water, sun beds and umbrellas. You have all the necessary things available: hair dryer, tv, air conditioner, fridge, little electric stove, kettle. At the balcony there’s plenty of space for having an early breakfast or a glass of wine at the sunset. A lot of supermarkets, bars, restaurants and souvenir shops around the hotel, great tavernas with a much cheaper prices then in the city center. It was an amazing choice and great value for money

Would be very useful to have beach towels and a sponge/soap in the room for cleaning dishes; other then these little things, we enjoyed everything

The promenade and the beaches are really close, the hotel has an own pool, the rooms were really clean (rooms cleaned and towels changed whenever we requested them), the host was welcoming and helpful. The parking is free on the promenade, you just have to be lucky to get a spot.

The hotel has two wi-fi rooters out of which one was always out of order while I was having difficulty connecting to the other, but this fades over the positive parts.

Beds were not really comfortable

We got upgraded to a larger room and got a cold water when we arrived. Everything was as a 90's 2 star hotell should be. It is also close to most things. If you walk to old town is about 30 min so in 30+ degrees heat it's a recommended to take the bus. Just make sure to buy a ticket from the ktel booth or the small markets close to the bus stops before. Thank you Pantelis, Bobby and Giannis! Γειά μας!

Great hotel, clean and practical apartment. Close to the beach and good range of restaurants nearby. Everyone who works there is very nice. Will stay there again when I go to Crete.

The hotel was very clean and the stuff were super friendly! The location is also great, it is in a quiet part of the city, but not to far from the city center.

No wifi when we were there. No mobile signal in the basement rooms. Dated rooms.

Da vi ankom til hotellet fortalte ejeren os at “vi SKAL aflevere vores værelsenøgle” hver gang vi forladte hotellet. Og vi måtte IKKE tag noget drikkevare eller spiselig med tilbage til hotellet udefra… Der blev holdt MEGET øje med en. Hvis man er 3 personer og skal dele et værelse sammen skal i bare vide at den tredje “seng” er IKKE EN SENG men en bænk. Så du får rygproblemer. Hotellet ligger 40 minutters gå gang væk fra alt.
