Our first room was not air conditioned but we asked for another and it was accommodated.

My partner can’t eat lactose and not only did they cook a special dinner for him but also prepared some special dishes for breakfast. The room was beautifully decorated and spacious; the bed was very comfortable too. Food at dinner and breakfast was great. And finally the hotel is ideally located ; close to Baseltor, it is perfect to visit the city.

Reviewed Jun 5, 2026Ottima struttura, storica in pieno centro, mantenuta con grande rispetto per il passato senza stravolgere gli interni, è molto difficile ammodernare uno stabile di questo tipo rispettandone il passato, davvero bravi, comodo il garage, anche questo non scontato in un palazzo di più di 100 anni. Ottimi i prodotti per l igiene in bagno! Colazione con prodotti di altissima qualità, pane e formaggi strepitosi, forse aggiungerei un succo fresco…
Nulla Mi è dispiaciuto non poter provare il ristorante…

Die Parksituation ist sehr eingeschränkt und deshalb recht unpraktisch mit Gepäck. Müsste eigentlich einen für das Gepäck zuständigen Concierge haben.

Reviewed May 10, 2026This small historic hotel is a fine place to stay for a visit to the very pleasant town of Solothurn. Although we live in Switzerland, neither my wife nor I had ever been to Solothurn. And what a pleasant surprise it is. This goes for the La Couronne hotel as well. We had a room in the annex, just a few steps across the street. Easy access with an elevator to the first floor rooms. Very quiet and nicely laid out. Simple, but modern bathroom with walk-in shower. The beds are a bit firm, but that is a matter of individual preference. Exceptionally friendly and helpful service. Excellent breakfast buffet. There is also a garage for about 8 cars which one has to reserve in advance together with the room. A further attraction of this hotel is their fine restaurant. Again, prior reservation is certainly advisable. Finally, being located within the old town, the La Couronne is ideally located for strolls around this historic city. Most recommendable.

L'accueil a été au-dessus de toute attente: le personnel est très professionnel et aimable, notre place au garage était disponible et la borne de recharge pour notre voiture électrique avait été réservée. Belle grande chambre. Notre ami qui avait une chambre single a été upgradé en chambre double. Le petit-déjeuner est délicieux, copieux avec un grand choix de produits de qualité
L'inconvénient de l'emplacement très central est le bruit: chaque petit bruit de la rue résonne et les cloches de la cathédrale sonnent tous les 1/4 d'heures. Avec des boules Quiès, tout va bien!

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026La chambre était spacieuse, et les extras thé, café et autres boissons à disposition parfait, le calme, la situation en vieille ville idéale, le personnel au top, le petit-déjeuner bien diversifié pour satisfaire tous les appétits du matin, le restaurant de l'hôtel m'a permis de passer un très bon moment et découvrir des mets raffinés avec un personnel aux petits soins pour ses clients. Un magnifique endroit que je recommande.
Peut-être juste la literie, mais ce genre de matelas peut convenir à d'autres.

Er wat een feest in het hotel met enorm veel lawaai tot ca 01:00 's nachts. Om 00:50 werd muziek extra hard gezet. Dit was in hotel allemaal erg goed te horen en dit past niet bij zo'n hotel.
