Da es bei unserem Aufenthalt sehr kalt und regnerisch war, haben wir uns über den Holzofen, und die Heizdecke im Bett, sehr gefreut! Wir würden wieder hier buchen.

Emplacement idéal pour faire la panorama road. Le chalet était très confortable (vive les matelas chauffants!). On aurait aimé rester plus longtemps !

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026Creo que lo mejor fueron las galletas, qué buenas estaban! Y los perros, la mejor recepción. Además, las cabañas eran cómodas, amplias y limpias. Rainer fue muy atento, incluso cuando por la mañana nos fuimos bastante temprano. La parcela es preciosa, rodeada de selva y con un amanecer increíble, y a sólo 10 minutos de Graskop, perfecto para disfrutar de la ruta Panorama sin el jaleo del pueblo. Ojalá habernos quedado más días y haber podido hacer los paseos alrededor, parecían muy bonitos

Accoglienza e gentilezza dell host che ci ha dato molte informazioni e pure I moduli da compilare pernil kruger in modo da non perdere tempo. Colazione SUPER dolce e salata.
Nonostante la stufa la casa era molto fredda la notte.

Apprecieerden dat er koffie, thee en zelfgebakken koekjes aanwezig waren. Gelegen op een rustig domein - de andere huisjes liggen goed verspreid zodat ieder zijn privacy heeft.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026We sliepen in de chalet. Alles was aanwezig maar het was er een beetje donker. Het huisje wordt verwarmd met een houtkachel en je krijgt gratis hout dus dat is wel top. De gastvrouw was geweldig. Ze reageerde meteen op al mijn berichten en boekte een restaurant voor ons. Ze gaf ons ook een kaart met wat er allemaal te doen was in de streek. Het is een uitstekende locatie voor de panoramaroute. Hou er misschien wel rekening mee dat er drie brave honden op het domein lopen. Maar wij wisten dit niet en mijn zoon is bang van honden dus hij schrok heel hard toen eentje op hem sprong. Je kan er ook een hele leuke wandeling doen in het bos op hun domein.

The log burner made the room a bit smoky, but did heat the room up nicely, as it was Winter.

Il proprietario è davvero gentile; ottima la colazione. La posizione è perfetta per visitare il Blyde River Canyon e per dirigersi verso il Kruger. Un apprezzamento speciale per i 3 cagnolini del proprietario che sono davvero dolci.

Reviewed Jun 20, 2026Diese Unterkunft war einfach wunderschön. Wir hatten die Hütte an dem kleinen See, es ist alles sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir konnten abends sogar den Ofen anmachen, damit wir es schön kuschelig warm hatten. Der Eigentümer war ein deutscher und hat uns dann einen guten sicheren Weg empfohlen. Zum Krüger Nationalpark, den wir auch gerne angenommen haben. Danke für diesen wunderschönen Ort in mitten der Natur.

Clean, the staff was fantastic, and it’s the little touches that made it special... firewood for the fireplace, hot water bottles, a great shower that felt like showering in the forest, bathroom heater, and cookies in the kitchen. Check-in was smooth and the host was friendly and helpful. Only downside? We didn’t stay long enough. Would 100% come back.
The toilet brush needs to be changed.

The sink was slightly difficult to use but no biggie. We saw baboons eyeing our food while in the kitchen; it's good to keep the cover latched down. Our morning here was misty and magical, with a bit of a drizzle. We stayed for one night in end May 2026.
The entrance to the B&B was slightly difficult to locate as it is by the road, shrouded by trees. Not a big thing.

Walli and Rainer are exceptional hosts who truly go the extra mile to make their guests feel welcome and comfortable. Their attention to detail, warm hospitality, and willingness to help with anything needed made our stay even more enjoyable. The accommodation was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Waking up to the beautiful scenery and enjoying the tranquil atmosphere was a highlight of our visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable stay, stunning views, and hosts who genuinely care about their guests. We will definitely be back!

Reviewed Jun 9, 2026Alles war einfach wunderbar – angefangen bei den gut ausgestatteten Hütten und dem herzlichen Service, über das weitläufige Gelände mit seinen herrlichen Trails, auf denen man wunderbar laufen kann, bis hin zu einem ganz besonderen Highlight: dem fantastischen Frühstück. Nach drei Wochen Südafrika kann ich sagen, es war das beste Frühstück der gesamten Reise – fast alles selbst gemacht und einfach köstlich.
Das wir nicht nochmal dort waren.

Reviewed Jun 9, 2026I could not fault it even if I tried and I did try. Big grounds with short (up to an hour plus) walks through the bush. Excellent breakfast and separate accommodation units with their own BBQ's (braais) and sheltered kitchens. What can there possibly be not to like!

Tudo bem que ninguém é obrigado a fazer check in mais cedo para o cliente. Chegamos ao Hotel um pouco depois das 12:00 e havia um aviso dizendo que a RECEPÇÃO ESTÁ FECHADA DE 12:00 ÀS 14:00. Fomos para a cidade fazer compras. Quando retornamos às 14:00 a RECEPÇÃO continuou FECHADA ATÉ por volta das 14:30 quando o proprietário apareceu e nos atendeu. Poderia ter sido pontual, já que exige o CHECK IN religiosamente no horário. Estamos com criança de 06 anos e cansados da estrada. Outro dissabor foi a falta de luz na propriedade e ficamos 24 horas sem acesso à internet. A energia solar sustentou o chalé até as 22:00; O dono foi solicito e nos avisou previamente que a luz não iria voltar antes de 05 dias e que deveríamos evitar o banho pela manhã, pois sem energia não haveria agua quente; NO Geral ele foi atencioso e cortes mas acredito que pode melhorar um pouco...,

Reviewed Jun 4, 2026Super behulpzame en lieve eigenaar die ons alle tips gaf voor de Panorama route en Krugerpark. Hij denkte met ons mee zodat ons verblijf en de komende activiteiten het beste werden. Ook de zelf gemaakte broodjes en koekjes vielen erg in de smaak!
In de winter kan het redelijk fris zijn. Gelukkig is er een kachel en elektrische dekens om je warm te houden.

L’hôte a également pris le soin de réserver un restaurant pour nous, ce qui a facilité notre séjour. Petit-déjeuner composé de produits frais et locaux, avec un effort porté à l’adaptation pour un besoin alimentaire spécifique. (Merci encore!) Lieu plein de charme, situé au cœur d’une grande propriété au cadre paisible. Il y'a un petit sentier de randonnée aménagé sur le terrain de l’hôtel.
Petit bémol : les soirées étaient un peu fraîches, mais le lit chauffant a largement compensé et rendu la nuit confortable.

Le pdj était délicieux est fait maison Le propriétaire était très agréable nous, il nous à donner des recommandations pour les activités a faire dans la régions et également pour les restaurant. Un très bon séjour à Zur Alten Mine.
