Nice and convenient to town and Manuka Street Hospital.

I chose this place because I wanted somewhere safe to park my car and easy to walk to town. Yuki was lovely and helpful.

Great value for money in a great location. Friendly staff and good amenities.

TV reception terrible. Would not stay again unless improved.

It was ok for our needs. One thing that I was not happy with was the main bedroom had another bed in it which made room very tight. Suggest remove extra bed and bring the main bed out from the wall.

I booked a room with kitchen facilities. My Maitai Studio had no sink! We were expected to wash dishes, fill jugs, etc in the bathroom basin which was small and had fixed faucets.

Great location, spacious, clean and well appointed.

The location was convenient and walkable to dining and shopping options.

Not what we expected based on the photos. The back door didn’t lock so we had to take our passports, cash, valuables with us whenever we left. Made it work for a couple nights but left early and found a better hotel. Never saw a hotel manager… everything done thru a RING camera.

This hotel is located close to the town center. It was well-apportioned and a nice place to stay. While there was one pay washer and dryer for guest use from 2 - 8 pm, the dryer was not efficient. Otherwise a very pleasant place to stay.

Unfortunately you can hear the people in the next unit but apart from that it was clean tidy and great staff.

Great communication and easy check in. Yuki was lovely to deal with. The room was clean, well equipped and nice and quiet. An easy walk to town or the Trafalgar Centre. Highly recommend and would stay there again.

Very tired,lounge pretty crowded with furniture,parking very narrow ,could hardly open car doors..Service when we arrived was not particularly welcoming,no hello,guy was needs a lesson on how to greet his guests..Reasonable price,but felt nothing has been spent on this unit for a very long time

Heater on wall, out of order. The other panel hester, worked very slowly . Should have been turbed on, before we arrived. Had a small portable heater, but tge soace omis huge, and we sat with our coats mall evening.Beds comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Do somethingcwith your heating please!

A very tidy property. Spacious sunny upstairs room, well appointed and furnished. Great location on edge of CBD with easy walk into main shopping area, restaurants and cafes. Would certainly recommend as a value for money accommodation option.

Great stay in an excellent location. Had everything we needed, clean and tidy, and friendly and helpful staff. Had the best information folder I've seen anywhere; clearly laid out and easy to read. Especially liked how it showed how far places were from the motel.

I arrived early before scheduled check in time. It was a $30NZ taxi ride from the Nelson Airport. The gentleman at reception ( John ?) allowed me to store my backpack there, and also issued me my room key so I could go directly to the room which was to be available an hour later. He also took the time to point out the many galleries, walks, food markets/restaurants on an area map available at the reception counter. The location of the property is just meters from the Collingwood St. bridge over the Waikai river. The location makes everything very easy walking around the CBD Nelson area. The Isite was perhaps a 5 min. travel, as well as the cinema, and several galleries. The food market and manny good restaurants/pubs are all within a 15 min. walk from the room. The room was simple, but had everything I needed for a comfortable 2 night stay. Electric stovetop, refrigerator, a small dining table, an 2 arm chairs. The bed was comfortable, although I had to remove several pillows and a quilt which were not needed..... it seems this is the trend with most hotels nowadays. Also, the room had an abundance of windows, and a skylight which allowed great natural light, and airflow. I seem to think there was a washing machine available, which I did not need to use, but I may be mistaken . Overall, I had a great stay, and would recommend staying here if you are seeking a convenient location in Nelson for simple accommodation.

Spacious room, close to Nelson cbd. WiFi didn't work from our room (low signal) Bed is soft. Overall we had a really nice 2 nights stay.

The motel was nice and handy to the river and the shopping area. The owner was delightful nd very helpful as were the other staff members.

This is an older property. Location is great. So close to everything. We stayed in the family apartment. It was older with some wear and tear but very spacious, clean and comfortable. We liked staying here and would stay again. We loved that they had heated blankets and lots of heaters to combat the cold.

I booked this via Wotif. I booked what I thought was one unit with two rooms as there were three single people in our party and we needed two separate bedrooms. One fee was charged which made me feel confident that we had one family unit with two bedrooms. what we got was two units - not even in the same block!! this ruined our family reunion (a rare event for us). we were told "that's what happens when you book on-line". totally annoyed!! I booked this in one name in one transaction.could they not have had the brains to book us with connecting units??

The Location was perfect and it had off street parking in the shade which was great. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning which was a bit of a problem considering how hot it was. They did supply a small fan after asking but that didn't really do a lot. The Microwave stopped working but this was replaced. It was a quiet location and the staff were friendly, so other than the heat, it was a good place to stay.

The River Lodge was a nice place to spend 2 nights. It is very close to the river and an easy walk to town. We were near a football stadium and a game was being played so we were able to attend. The manager pointed out a very nice breakfast location which we enjoyed both mornings.
