Staff attitude

Unhygienic rooms. One of our rooms reeked of mold and sewage and after complaining, they shifted us to a different room the next day. The reservation manager was unapologetic enough to not even acknowledge the issue and blamed it on the weather.

The property is right on the NH. So convenient for many travellers. However, not the best option for nature lovers. When visiting coorg you would expect nature, calmness and a serene mountain experience which was a bid negetive about this property. Also, don't expect a lot of activities. Just a swimming pool and indoor games including a kids play area.

As already said, not a great option for nature lovers. Nothing like staying in Coorg. However, comfortable stay and premium amenities. Food could have been more affordable as well considering the property location and accessibility to the nearest city/town.

The property is beautiful and well maintained, staffs are well behaved and cooperative, rooms are luxurious and all the services are really good.

The staff were courteous and attentive, the service was excellent, the location was convenient, and the cleanliness was impeccable. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.

The only downside was the room. It didn't have a balcony, and even the window couldn't be opened. When traveling to a place like Coorg (Kushalnagar), I expect to be able to enjoy some fresh air from my room. Having at least an openable window would have made the stay much more enjoyable.

Break fast is good. Lunch and dinner - most of the food items were not available due to gas shortage etc. Overall stay is good.

The breakfast menu was absolutely brilliant. So many options to choose from and so little time. My family had a great time at the resort. Our only regret was that we didnt spend enough time in the property. Maybe something to look forward to the next time. Special Shout out to your wonderful team at the reception, starting with Mr Jagan, Miss Kalpana and Mr Akshay. All were very courteous and did a wonderful job!

My only complaint here would be the prices of the food in your restaurant. It was exorbitant to say the least. We had to look at options out side the resort because of this. A simple plate of Jeera rice was over Rs 300/- and the quantity was also not that sufficient. So you guys will have to revamp the charges here if you want your patrons to use your restaurant services. Also for drinks.

I had a very disappointing experience at this resort. I arrived around 1 AM and requested a standard room at the reception, only to be told that none were available for check-in. However, as soon as I booked the same room online via Booking.com, the staff suddenly confirmed availability and allowed me to check in. This is not only unprofessional but also misleading, especially when you’ve just traveled a long distance and are exhausted. The service continued to disappoint. As I was getting ready the next morning, I requested to have my clothes pressed. The reception informed me that laundry services were unavailable at the moment. When I asked for an iron and ironing board to do it myself, they refused again, saying they had none available. Denying even the most basic amenity like an iron board reflects very poorly on the quality of service expected from a resort. This experience left me frustrated and dissatisfied. Basic customer service, transparency, and essential amenities should not be too much to ask for. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves both their hospitality and guest support standards.

The rooms were spacious, and the staff were mostly courteous.

Our family vacation at Purple palm resorts was highly disappointing. Management was inflexible, refusing a two-hour late checkout for our room despite having a 5-month-old baby and low hotel occupancy. The Wi-Fi speed was abysmal, worse than a budget hostel. Furthermore, the resort's location is not good; it's not in Coorg but in a lower town, lacking mountainous views for which mostly ppl go to Coorg.

The location is good as it is just on the highway. Small beautiful resort

The service can be better especially at the restaurant. The food taste and menu (include local cuisine in buffet) can be improved. Arranging for hi-tea/coffee in the evening would be good. The courtyard room balcony was a real let down with no proper roof covering the balcony, we could not sit outside at all as it continuously drizzling. Also, the balcony of all rooms were interconnected which made us feel unsafe to keep the door open.

As it is very small property it is not that great and sad thing is even for indoor games quite a few games has to paid. In restaurant we were not allowed to have food peacefully, very often they use to come and ask for clearing plates.

NEAT AND CLEAN ROOMS. GOOD SERVICE

The wifi doesnt really work. If you are planning to bring your laptop and work a bit then thats not possible. Otherwise a very efficient and courteous staff specially manager, Mr Shekhar. The location is far from Medikeri main area so be ready with your vehicle. The room and facilities are superb with great attention to detail.

The food is quite expensive. If the food rates are reduced it would have been a great stay. Hotel should try considering it.
