From the arrival to the mega open lobby that is looking to the ocean framed by bamboo, it was hard not to be blown away. In our 5 night stay we didn’t leave given the abundance of options and luxurious spaces to relax and dine. The Beach Club is for adults only and it was the perfect space to enjoy the glorious weather with attentive and genuine service from Wisdom, Hunter and the entire team! Chef Boga at Barbacao has done a phenomenal job creating a Balinese menu which is complimented by a live band, feet in the sand, exotic dining experience. He is also a really nice guy! A special thanks to Chef Markus, Julie and Jordi for making us so welcome!! Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at The Sanya EDITION in a beautiful suite. A special thank you to Julie, our Guest Relations Manager, for checking in throughout our entire stay and making sure everything was perfect. She also kindly arranged a wonderful birthday surprise for my cousin, which made the celebration extra special. The cakes and coconut pudding were absolutely delicious! The Sanya Edition was such a beautiful hotel! From the moment I arrived, everyone was welcoming and nice. Julie was amazing with answering my questions whenever I needed and making reservations for me. She was available at anytime. The location is nice but a bit far from the airport but once you get there, it’s heaven. Rooms were beautiful, everything is clean, and worth every penny. I love that the hotel catered to everyone like there is a family area and pool and an adult only area that was perfect for me since I was traveling solo. Thanks to Wisdom at the Beach Club and Shawon at Barbacoa. Oh and the spa area had a very relaxing sauna and stream room if you just wanted to get away from it all. I would recommend to everyonez

Thank you for our amazing stay at The Sanya Edition. Together with my partner we brought my parents to Hainan to show them around and decided to stay at your lovely property. The service is next level, the food at Barbacoa so authentically Balinese, the drinks and snacks at the Beach Club original and up to par, and all facilities you would wish for are available. I saw some amazing signs of true leadership from the management as well. Shout outs to Julie as our personal butler, 魏金恒 as our beach club bartender and Jordi as a true international hospitality leader. Thank you, and we hope to be back soon again.

We stayed 10 nights at Sanya Edition during our honeymoon. It was a very nice experience. The staffs were highly professional. There are many sport possibilities, pingpong, tennis, padel, pickleball, and various water sports. The beverages and the food are overall excellent. During the stay all our needs were fulfilled to our maximum satisfaction.

I visit the Edition every year; it feels like coming home. The hotel changes every year, showing the dedication of the management. As a large international hotel, the employment of expatriate staff is very welcoming to international travelers (and their Chinese is excellent!). Our stay at The Sanya EDITION was truly memorable, elevated significantly by the world-class service provided by the Guest Relations team. A particular highlight was the outstanding hospitality demonstrated by Olivia. While spending an afternoon by the main pool, I realized I had forgotten to bring my reading book down from my room. Olivia noticed my situation and graciously offered to fetch it from my room on my behalf so I could continue relaxing uninterrupted. Her genuine kindness, proactive approach, and high level of professionalism throughout our stay left a lasting impression. Olivia’s attentive care is a stellar reflection of the standards at The Sanya EDITION. I highly recommend this property and extend my sincere thanks to Olivia for making our visit so seamless and special.

This was our second visit to The Sanya Edition and once again we were truly grateful to Julie for making our stay a memorable and pleasant one. Me and my wife went here for part of our honeymoon and it was even better than expected. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. We have a wonderful host called Julie who made us feel even more welcome and she spoke perfect English so this was super helpful. She even prepared us special surprises because it was our honeymoon which was very sweet! Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at this beautiful resort in Sanya, Hainan – truly the “Hawaii of China.” Before arriving here, we spent time at the Rosewood, which was already an excellent experience. However, what made this stay even more special was the outstanding, truly personalized service we received from our butler, Julie. A very special thank you to our wonderful French butler, Julie. She took care of every single detail with incredible professionalism, warmth, and genuine kindness. Nothing was ever too much to ask, and she always anticipated our needs before we even had to mention them. Her dedication made us feel incredibly welcome and transformed a great vacation into an unforgettable one. Julie, thank you from the bottom of our hearts—you are a true asset to this resort. We also had the pleasure of playing a fun game of padel with the Manager, Jordi Villegas, his son, and my own son. It was such a relaxed and enjoyable experience that perfectly reflected the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the resort. Although the resort is large, it never feels overwhelming. Everything is beautifully designed and has a cozy, intimate feeling. The facilities, the service, and the overall atmosphere are simply outstanding. The location is fantastic as well. Sanya, on Hainan Island, really deserves its nickname as the “Hawaii of China.” It’s only about a one-hour flight from Hong Kong or Shenzhen, making it a perfect tropical getaway. We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for luxury combined with genuine hospitality. We will definitely be back. Julie is an incredible concierge. She worked all hours of the day and made everything happen for us, quickly. So friendly. Great work. We need for Julie’s. Markus runs one of the best fine dining food programs I’ve ever seen. I love food and being able to enjoy every single offering at a hotel is an incredible feat. He always made a point of coming to say hi and checking in on our experience. Hats off to this man and then some. Some other notable people that made an impact on our stay. Jorge, Chef Boga, Mereen, and Sarah. Honestly we were treated so well at this hotel. It raised my expectations for any five star hotelier and I’ve been to some incredible places. 15/10. Great location, super convenient to go everywhere. The atmosphere is super nice, such a great KOL hotel 😝 stylish and modern Our room is very spacious that has a jacuzzi at the balcony and not that much noise which made me easily fall asleep Very clean every where, and the scent is very nice. I really like the smell. I have to say a huge thanks to our butler Julie who has been taking very well care for us. Always ask what we need and tried to satisfy our request. And their stuff is very thoughtful too, like they know I like coffee and dropped me more capsules and wrote me a note!

We stayed at the Sanya Edition for a week in July. We had a great time. The hotel is vast and amazing with many different restaurants, pools and activities. Julie in particular was fantastic and really looked after us and our kids!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and the service was top-notch. Julie, our host, was exceptionally attentive and quick to help us in English. The breakfast buffet had plenty to choose from, but our absolute favourite was the Xian Hai by the Sea, Maureen who served us there, was very friendly and gave us excellent service too. Definitely recommend!

The Sanya EDITION is one of those rare properties that truly deserves it. From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless. The resort is stunning—beautiful architecture, lush landscaping, gorgeous pools, a fantastic beach club, and a level of tranquility that's hard to find. It strikes the perfect balance between modern luxury and a relaxed beach escape. What made this stay exceptional, however, wasn't just the property—it was the people. A special thank you to Julie from Guest Services, who went above and beyond every single day. She helped us with restaurant reservations, local recommendations, beach club tips, and always responded quickly whenever we had a question. One evening we accidentally broke a glass in our room and had to leave immediately for dinner. Julie had already arranged for housekeeping to safely clean everything before we returned and even reached out afterward to make sure no one had been hurt. That kind of proactive, genuine care is what defines exceptional hospitality. I'd also like to recognize Coco at SkyBar, who made every visit memorable with her friendly personality and outstanding service. SkyBar quickly became one of our favorite places to unwind in the evenings. We'd also like to thank the gentleman from Nepal who worked alongside Coco (I unfortunately forgot his name). He was equally warm, attentive, and professional, and together they created an atmosphere that kept us coming back. What impressed me most was that this wasn't limited to just a few employees. Every staff member we encountered—from Guest Services and housekeeping to the restaurants and beach club—was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. You can tell there's a strong culture of hospitality throughout the resort. Other highlights included: - An outstanding breakfast with an impressive selection. - Excellent dining, especially the Balinese restaurant. - The beautiful beach club, which is an absolute must during your stay. - Fast, attentive service whenever we needed assistance. - Thoughtful local recommendations that helped us make the most of our trip. Coming from New York City, where service standards are high and luxury hotels are plentiful, it's not often that a resort genuinely surprises me. The Sanya EDITION did exactly that. The facilities are world-class, but it's the people who make this resort truly unforgettable. If you are staying at The Sanya EDITION, you have to eat at Beach Barbacoa. The whole experience of eating phenomenal Indonesian-inspired seafood right on the sand is unmatched. The live music, starry sky, and perfectly grilled dishes make for an incredible night out. The staff was incredibly welcoming and anticipated every need. The room was immaculate—minimalist, sophisticated, and incredibly comfortable, with a beautiful standalone soaking tub, Le Labo bath products, and a gorgeous balcony view of the South China Sea.

No hotel has wowed me and my wife so much compared to the Sanya Edition. We have stayed at some luxurious places. (Eg. Ritz Carlton/Alila/Park hyatt). I can tell you why this hotel stands above all the rest of the hotels I have visited. This hotel is secluded; you cannot enter without being a guest at a hotel. We went through the entrance security, passing through a grand entrance of beautiful trees. The lobby is just stunning. Julie, who has contacted us earlier about our arrive, greeted us and help us settling down. We arrived a bit early so we waited at their lounge for the room to be prepared and had some refreshements. As we walked around the hotel, it feels like a giant art work. a giant lagoon in the middle of the hotel. it is very aesthetic pleasing just looking around. There are many upscale stores around the hotels. Compared to the next door Crown Plaza, with kids running around, this hotel feels quiet and peaceful. Once the room was prepared, we went up to our room. My platinum status was recognized and room was upgraded to suite. The room has a nice balcony overlooking the ocean and the surrounding palm trees. Bedding was comforble and. it has a minimalistic feel. Everything feels new, the sofa, futon, etc. No smell of anything which is quite impressive given this is a 10-year old hotel. Throughout our stay, we are constantly greeted by the hotel staff. We tried some lagoon activities like the bicycle boat and the kayak. At night the hotel glitters with decorative lights. The food was great at the Chinese restaurant Xianhai, again great service by the staff there. Instead of going to the restaurant on foot, we chose to go on a BOAT in the lagoon, which was pretty cool. Hotel ground is quite large. Thankfully there are golf buggies which will help you move around the the hotel. We must have used 10+ buggy rides throughout our stay. The beach is accessible but not swimmable due to waves. There are outside vendors selling ATV rides and jetski rides. The breakfast was top notch. It gets pretty crowded but enough tables for everyone. It has a grat display of chinese and western food. Many types of juices to choose from. Not only is the breakfast great, the service there who recognize you by name is quite good. While it is walkable to the CDF mall close by, it would be quite hot to do so. We just drive our car there. It has all kinds of fashion (Phase 1) and restaurants (Phase 2, which is connected by a bridge). Something to do around the hotel. The Atlantis water park is also close by, which is great to spend in the afteroon if you have teenagers. We were in constant communication with Julie, who often chimes in about our stay and gives recommendations. It was sad we had to leave for home. When we left, she was all smile, tool a photo with us and left us a great impression how customer service can go as far as being a friend. We appreciated her service and made it a perfect stay for us. We will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

On this trip, we were incredibly fortunate to be looked after by the incredible Julie—elle est magnifique! Warm, affable, welcoming, thoughtful, patient, quick-witted, and endlessly responsive. From the second we pulled up and she opened our car door, all the way until we boarded the plane going home, she tended to our every want morning, noon, and night. Aware our trip marked a special occasion, she meticulously curated every detail: perfecting our suite and coordinating all bespoke arrangements to craft the seamless romantic getaway we’d envisioned. We stay at top-tier luxury hotels across the globe, and I can confidently say Julie delivered an experience that outshines every other we’ve had. She liaised seamlessly across every hotel department to tailor our entire itinerary. Unexpectedly, a typhoon hit mid-stay, yet Julie pre-emptively mapped out a full backup plan the moment we arrived. She ensured we did not miss out on any of the resort experiences we’d planned, minimising disruption from the storm entirely. She arranged a breathtaking poolside luncheon at the sky bar, complete with our favourite cocktails and dishes sourced from the beach club, which had closed temporarily for safety protocols. I also want to extend my sincere thanks to Allen at the sky bar. He crafted incredible custom off-menu cocktails just for us and even arranged for shisha to be delivered all the way from the city centre—truly going above and beyond expectations. This was my boyfriend’s first time at the resort, and he said something that perfectly summed up how we both feel: “Coming here with you feels like returning home to family and old friends.” We are endlessly thankful to every single team member for their impeccable care, which made us feel welcome and at ease once more. We will absolutely return soon. Our gratitude extends to every staff member: Jordi, Julie, and Allen, alongside housekeeping, servers, shuttle cart drivers, concierge, butlers, lifeguards, porters, and pool attendants—especially Shakil! This was our third stay with him, and his attention to detail is remarkable. He remembers all our dietary preferences and go-to drinks, and even asks after our parents, who usually join us on our trips. Another unforgettable stay at the Sanya EDITION. We cannot wait to come back.

The hotel is about an hour drive from the airport. The area around the hotel is pretty quiet and it pretty close to the duty free shop(10min walk). I like the environment here at the hotel where people are very helping and the experience was crazy good. The room is very clean and tidy, able to see the sea right in the balcony. The amenities is also good, i went to the gym is very clean and all the stuff needed are provided. They provide Le Labo washing sets in the room which is exactly my favorite, Noir 29. They've also assign me a service guy named Wendy, she is very nice and helpful, made the experience even better. Overall, its a 10/10 stay.

It’s a wonderful place for a getaway and very family-friendly, especially for kids. The staff were incredibly helpful throughout our stay, and Julie in particular truly elevated our experience with her attentive and thoughtful service. The food was excellent—we highly recommend Xian Hai and Egret. We also had the chance to try Sanya cuisine, which was a real highlight of the trip. We will definitely be coming back again.

We had a great time at hotel edition Sanya with our 1yr old baby celebrating our wedding anniversary. Julie Meireles, our personal Guest Relations Officer took car of us really well from the moment we arrive to the minute we left the hotel. She prepared a lot of surprised for our little one and make sure our daily itinerary is taken care of.

Had a short vacation with my parents and was really happy with the whole experience with the Edition. Julie from the Guest Relations team has provided a lot of information before we arrived the hotel and kept checking to see if we have any needs after we checked in. So we utilized the facilities including pickleball, tennis court, the pools and the bubble baths etc. We were lucky to have free upgrades to better rooms and all the staffs I have met are super helpful and friendly.

We had a spectacular stay at Sanya Edition in our 2 bedroom villa. Our butler, Julie, prepared surprises for the kids days before our arrival. She guided the kids to a treasure hunt upon our arrival, and the kids were thrilled by the experience. Julie is very attentive, warm, efficient and reminded us of our bookings as we needed. She also has the warmest smile and the kids love her. It was nice to have someone who speaks English at this resort as the kids speak mostly English. We would definitely recommend this resort and we truly appreciate all the efforts that Julie put in ensuring that our stay was perfect.

I only stayed at The Sanya Edition for one night, but it was enough to make me want to come back again. The hotel is beautiful, the atmosphere is so relaxing, and every corner of the resort feels special. A huge thank you to Julie. She was incredibly kind from before I even arrived and made everything so easy for me. She surprised me with an upgrade to an Ocean View Suite, and waking up to that amazing view was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. 2 лишних раза заморозили оплату за проживание. Не только депозит! Менеджер ошибся на 10 юаней и заморозил деньги, корректную сумму, второй раз. Мы знаем как не попасть с этими оплатами, депозитами, летаем часто. Но здесь прямо проблема вышла! Нервы потратили наши. Лишняя оплата за проживание (а оно дорогое) вернулась только через месяц (еще раз: это не депозит!). Огромный минус за наши нервы! Рестораны хорошие, но сильно дорогие. Скидка Bonvoy там не работает, что странно. В номерах мало мест для хранения. Доставали вещи из чемоданов, которые лежали открытыми на полу. Но хотя места много было, открытые на полу чемоданы не мешались особо. И вид из номеров был отличный. Балконы в наших номерах - вообще супер!!!

All the facilities were excellent. Since it was our honeymoon, the hotel provided a room upgrade and a special gift. The breakfast was outstanding—easily the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever experienced. There was a wide variety of tropical fruits, and perhaps because Sanya is famous for them, we could enjoy as much fresh coconut meat and water as we wanted. We also had unlimited access to various egg dishes, including omelets and scrambled eggs. Beyond breakfast, the other restaurants in the hotel were also superb. We visited **Barbacoa**, an outdoor restaurant focusing on meat and seafood, and the harmony between the fresh ingredients and seasonings was fantastic. Additionally, the restaurant where we had breakfast transformed into a hot pot venue in the evening. It was great being able to pick and choose our preferred fish, vegetables, and meats, along with a diverse selection of fruits. The hotel’s facilities, such as the gym and swimming pools, were highly satisfying. The gym offered both indoor and outdoor workout areas. It wasn’t just equipped with standard machines, but also had a variety of functional equipment like kettlebells and medicine balls. It was honestly the best hotel gym I’ve ever visited. For swimming, we used the 12th-floor rooftop pool and the ocean pool. They were perfect for swimming, and the pool staff were all incredibly friendly. Another impressive feature was the pickleball court. You can play for free simply by making a reservation, which allowed my wife and me to have a really fun time together. What truly sets this hotel apart is having a dedicated staff member to take care of you during your stay. From the moment we arrived until the end of our trip, **Julie** took exceptional care of us. She thoroughly explained the available services and even recommended great tourist spots around the hotel. We couldn't help but be deeply moved by her meticulous attention and warm service. Especially, what we could never forget is a letter she wrote in my language, which made us almost crying. Meeting Julie was one of the luckiest moments of our honeymoon, and choosing The Sanya EDITION was the absolute best decision we made.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel in Sanya. Without a doubt, it is the best hotel we have ever stayed at. A very special thank you to Julie, who took such great care of us throughout our stay. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help. She solved every issue quickly and was always available whenever we needed anything. Her hospitality made our experience even more memorable. We loved all of the restaurants, and the service at the Beach Club was outstanding. The Beach Club itself is beautiful, with a wonderful atmosphere, excellent food, and exceptional service. The pool restaurant at the Beach Club is also fantastic and definitely worth visiting. Everything in the hotel is impeccabl, spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and with an amazing signature scent that makes the whole experience feel luxurious. We also loved that the bathroom amenities are from Le Labo; the shampoos, creams, and toiletries are all high quality and smell incredible. Our favorite dining experience was the Mediterranean Restaurant, which was simply excellent and the best restaurant in the hotel. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sanya.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. From the moment of our arrival until our departure, we were warmly welcomed—starting at the reception desk—until Julie, a staff member, approached us with a smile. She escorted us to our room and gave us a tour of the hotel grounds, pointing out the children's play areas and the breakfast hall. She was wonderful, and I wish her continued success in her career; my family extends a special thank you to her. As for the room, it was comfortable and clean, while the hotel's location is excellent, being situated close to the Free Zone. The swimming pools were all clean, the breakfast was excellent, and all the staff members were wonderful, providing outstanding service. This was definitely a very pleasant stay. I didn’t expect to have such a wonderful time in Sanya. This was basically a result of a wonderful team, which is lead by a great general manager- Jordi Villegas. A whole team works perfectly and maintains the facility at a world’s highest standard. Food, infrastructure, gym make a perfect addition to the sun and fun.

The location is excellent, and The Sanya EDITION offers one of the best pool experiences. The hotel features a variety of pools and water activities, while the poolside service is outstanding, with great food and music. The staff are welcoming and attentive throughout the stay. One thing worth mentioning is the laundry service, which is extremely efficient.

I was fortunate to co-host a large 700+ people week-long corporate event at The Sanya EDITION in April 2026 and would like to rave about the exceptional experience General Manager Edward and his team provided to our guests. The arrival experience was excellent, and James always made a great impression. Julie also contributed greatly to making check-in smooth with her kindness and positive energy. The housekeeping team was great, and I particularly noticed MongMei from the laundry team. The operations team led by Jordy and Chef Marcus did a splendid job throughout the week. As part of a wider Asia holiday, we were in search of a beach-style relaxing segment of our trip, and The Edition Sanya was absolutely that. The hotel is unquestionably stunning - most evident as you arrive and walk through the lobby. The amenities available, most notably The Playland, was remarkably good - our kids could not get enough of it (including the kids pool area as well) We would like to also give a special shout out to Julie, who provided our Conceirge service, not only throughout our stay but also on the lead up. As not all the staff could necessarily speak English (although all absolutely tried!), Julie was an amazing bridge for us and made sure that we had an amazing time as a family, often going above and beyond to support us. Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Sanya.

This was my fourth stay at the Edition in the last 7 years. I can honestly say the main reason I always choose to return to this property over the many others in Sanya is the service. We were celebrating a girls trip 40th birthday and Zhaksybek truly looked after us from beginning to end. Nothing was too much trouble and he made sure it was a birthday to remember, all the small details and extra touches go a long way, he has such a natural and engaging personality and you can see he really takes pride in his role. I work in the service industry and every member of staff at this property are well trained and get that balance right between being efficient yet unobtrusive. Thera many other beautiful hotels in Sanya that all deliver on the aesthetics and f&B but the service hands down is what makes the Editon stand out above the rest

Had a wonderful stay at the Sanya Edition. Julie (our Villa Butler) was amazing. She helped us organise our entire visit and had great attention to detail. Everything was arranged for us, including the preferred room setup and restaurant bookings to celebrate our father’s birthday. I must say the room had a stunning view and very comfortable. The staff at the hotel were polite and always ready to help; they even located our kid’s lost goggles from the children’s beach (a small thing but small things are memorable :) )

The hotel was nice. One of the best in Sanya. It is rather new which is important as other hotels are pretty old and not convenient. Also it is very close to CDF - big duty free mall. It has large territory, good restaraunts, a big pool with ocean water - never seen anything like this, paddle on the roof. The service was nice and it's one of the rear places in Sanya where staff understands English. Our manager Julie Maria was great - very helpful and nice. We had a good time and will come once again if we visit Hainan in future.

We stayed in a one-bedroom villa with a private pool, and it was absolutely beautiful. The villa felt secluded and peaceful, surrounded by trees, yet still connected to all the hotel’s facilities. The room was spacious, stylish, and very comfortable, with a fantastic bathroom and outdoor area. The hotel itself is stunning — right on the beach, with great restaurant choices, a lively top-floor bar, and a beautiful pool bar. There’s also a lake for water sports and a lovely spa. Our butlers, Julie and Bruce, were amazing — they went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, arranging transfers, dinner reservations, and anything else we needed.

The only thing missing was a small convenience store within the hotel to buy snacks or essentials like toiletries or gum.

The hotel manager, Mr. Jordi is extremely gracious, making sure every guest is enjoying their stay. This hotel is great for families and there are endless activities to keep your kids busy. All the facilities are very well kept and very clean. We came here to celebrate New Year's and their celebration was amazing!!

Really excellent stay at the Sanya Edition. Thanks to Cooper for helping us navigate the language barrier. Staff all extremely attentive, facilities very good, and food fresh and varied. A couple of points to note - there are weddings or events most days (which do not cause much disturbance but a worth noting), and use of the tennis courts is an additional 300RMB/hour. In other 5 star resorts I have visited these are always free. We will be back. Thank you!

We stayed in Sanya Edition hotel from 22 November to 30 November. This is our fourth time to stay in this hotel. But hotel has always very good conditions and perfect service. We visited many hotels around which many of them are already old with poor maintenance. But Sanya Edition hotel keeps very well by very high level of maintenance and very hard work of management teams. This hotel is the best hotel in Sanya. We are very appreciative for their very good service. Our guests manager Julie, a French girl has done very good job and arranged for us many activities every day. Thanks for her service. This was our third time staying at The Edition Sanya, and once again everything was outstanding. The hotel remains stunning, extremely clean, and managed with impressive attention to detail. If they keep running it this way, it definitely won’t be our last visit. Most of the staff speak limited English, but thanks to Jordi and especially Julie, who speaks excellent English, our stay was perfect. A special thank-you to Julie for her professionalism and kindness — she truly made a difference and supported us with everything we needed. Our room had high-quality finishes, soft and relaxing colours, and an amazing view over the lagoon-style pool. The adults-only pool was also great, with a pleasant DJ set in the afternoon. We tried all the hotel restaurants, and each one was excellent. The breakfast buffet is very rich and varied, but it’s better to go at the recommended time to avoid waiting in line. The sea in this area is not swimmable due to strong currents, but the hotel’s huge and beautiful pools make you forget about it completely. In the evening they offer entertainment shows, and the rooftop bar with pool is truly spectacular. Overall, probably the best luxury 5-star hotel in Sanya — and beyond. Highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I spent a few wonderful days at The Sanya Edition, and the entire experience—from the serene atmosphere to the thoughtful service—was exceptional. Julie, our dedicated host from France, reached out to us several days before our arrival to help arrange special touches for our stay. She welcomed us with genuine warmth and care, (actually twice since we missed return flight and came back to the same room for 2 more nights with her immediate assistant) making us feel truly looked after from the very first moment. We received lovely romantic decorations and thoughtful surprises in our Ocean View Loft, which features a stunning circular canopy surrounding the large bed and a beautiful bathtub on the balcony. During our stay, we enjoyed the expansive seawater pool, the private beach filled with colorful shells, our first coconut-picking experience on the lawn, beach volleyball, and relaxing moments at the poolside bar with snacks and cocktails. We also loved the Sky Pool and bar at night, as well as the wonderful spa treatment recommended by Julie. The whole journey is truly memorable

The resort is super fancy, got quite the aesthetic minimalist feeling to it. It looks simple yet packed everything u need. Beautiful bars, pool, gym and all kind of facilities Worth the price as well, consider one of the most valuable in sanya. And lastly it wont be that comfortable if without the accommodating staffs. They are so kind and friendly. Shout out to Julie! She is super friendly and kind! If you need a english guide to the resort, definitely look for her. She can give you tips and tricks of the resort, such as the events and even drinks from the bars. Overall a super comfortable stay and worth the price, will come soon again later

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The public areas are absolutely beautiful and so elegant. Our room was wonderful, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable – we slept so well. I stayed 3 wonderful nights at the Edition Sanya, got a nice spacious ocean view room, and last night was a full moon that added to the magnificent mood. The hotel has around 500 rooms, the largest in the Edition brand. The hotel has a Balinese theme restaurant, which has a Jimbaran Bay as a setup and serving authentic and delicious Indonesian cuisine My favorite staff during my stay is Julie Meireles, a French lady that speaks fluent English, which helps me a lot during my stay, as you have to communicate with an IPhone to communicate with the hotel staff most of the time. Julie also helped me carry my luggage and touring the room and other hotel facilities. She also helped me with the internet connection and the VPN, which was a big help The hotel has a free shuttle bus to the nearby Duty Free Mall , most stores are high end brands, but there are a Starbucks, Burger King and a nice Thai restaurant among the many Chinese restaurants

The spa was excellent too — calm, professional, and perfectly in keeping with the hotel’s atmosphere. What really made the stay outstanding was the service. Our butlers, Julie and Bruce, were wonderful — warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. They made our check-in seamless (done right in the villa), handled all our luggage, and helped with everything from airport transfers to dinner reservations. Their thoughtful service really set the tone for the whole stay. The only small downside was that there isn’t a convenience store on-site to buy small items like snacks or essentials, which would have been handy. But honestly, that’s a minor detail compared to how exceptional everything else was. Overall, The Sanya EDITION is one of the best resorts we’ve ever stayed in — a perfect combination of privacy, luxury, and outstanding service.

This was one of my best hotel experiences in recent years. As someone who is very particular about hotels, I had high expectations for the Edition, and my stay absolutely exceeded them. The location is superb—just steps from the duty-free stores—and the service, facilities, and dining were all exceptional. Our whole family, including our two young children, had a wonderful time. As a Marriott titanium member, I received a complimentary room upgrade to a junior seaview suite which was luxurious and comfortable. Don't miss the sky bar and pool on the 12th floor to see the whole seashore. This resort had a huge salty lake with many kinds of sea animals. The beach pool was also very huge and warm so that swimming was comfortable even at night. Breakfast was brilliant to provide a variety of local and western food. Service was also very active and efficient. Highly recommend this resort to everyone. It is a flagship of edition hotel brand!
