Das 8 Bett Zimmer in dem wir gewohnt haben, war sauber und die Betten waren sehr bequem und man konnte sie mit einer Gardine schliessen für mehr Privatsphäre, es war abends etwas stickig, da es kein richtiges Fenster gab nur eine Dachluke , aber für diejenigen, die Air condition mögen, gab es eine. Jeden Morgen gab es ein frisch zubereitetes Frühstück nach mexikanischer Art, sehr lecker, dazu gab es Früchte, ein kleines Brot mit Marmelade und Kaffee+Tee.

Es gibt im Aufenthaltsbereich ,dort wo sich auch die Küche und der Esstisch befinden einen Fernseher und das hat extrem gestört, dass ein paar Besucher dort sehr laut Fern gesehen haben und andere versucht haben zu essen und sich zu unterhalten oder etwas zu spielen. So ein Gerät sollte nicht direkt in einem so vielseitig genutzten Aufenthaltsraum aufgestellt werden.

Me encantaron las diversas actividades que realizan los hoster para tener una interacción con los diversos huéspedes que llegan al lugar.

La habitación privada estaba muy limpia. Te guardan las maletas si es necesario antes y después de la estancia. El personal es muy amable y el desayuno es variado.

Solo se puede pagar en efectivo. (A pesar de haber puesto una tarjeta en booking, solo se acepta efectivo) El agua se fue el último día que estuvimos ahí. La ubicación no es tan céntrica, ir al centro puede tomar 15 minutos.

Las habitaciones privadas son espaciosas y cómodas, pudimos descansar muy bien. El desayuno está súper rico y te llena, cada día ofrecen frutas y pan buenísimo y un plato contundente. También puedes comprar huevos por 30 pesos y te los hacen revueltos o estrellados. El personal es muy agradable y por mencionar a alguien en especial diré que Natanael, que trabaja en el bar, nos hizo reír mucho. Gracias por esas margaritas!

Por decir algo, quizás el baño podría ser un poco más grande.

La camera era molto grande e comoda. La colazione era abbastanza buona e abbondante ma senza possibilità di scelta. Lo staff era molto disponibile.

85 € par nuit, cela ne les valait pas du tout. La chambre manquait de confort. Le ventilateur était très bruyant. Le bar était fermé, le personnel du petit-déjeuner pas très aimable, Surtout, c'est situé finalement assez loin des chouettes quartiers de Oaxaca. Nous avons écourté d'une nuit mais le manager n'a pas voulu nous la rembourser alors qu'ils auraient pu facilement relouer la chambre (j'entendais le téléphone sonner pour des dispos et on leur répondait qu'il n'y avait plus de places).

The room was clean and wide; the bed comfortable and we slept well! The hostel is very nice and has a magic atmosphere. Staff was helpful and gentle. I liked the location, the area seemed to me quite safe but is not central.

Breakfast could be improved. I just find absurd I have to pay cash the whole staying. Furthermore, I want to underlay that the taxi the hostel gently called for us charged us more than what they declared on the phone; of course, this is not the hostel fault but it's correct to remark this.

20min walk from centre + because it was raining a lot the courtyard outdoors became uncomfortable and dingy. I think my experience was circumstantial.

The staff was very helpful in making our stay comfortable. They helped us book tours and transfers. The included breakfast was very tasty!

Hôtel propre et très agréable, superbement décoré. Cuisine partagée qu'on peut utiliser. Petit déjeuner délicieux. Personnel très sympathique.

The bar could be calmer, especially when you’re staying just in the dorm underneath it, but when you join in or use earplugs it’s fine. After all it’s a hostel:)

La habitación era muy amplia y cómoda. Los jardines y zonas comunes muy lindas y relajantes. Las actividades que se ofrecen muy originales.

El tamaño del baño es enano. El váter está al lado de la ducha y se moja todo, era incómodo.

Para ser un hostal está bien. El desayuno es sencillo pero muy rico y las señoras de la cocina amables. Ofrecen actividades para los huéspedes y nos ayudaron con información de la ciudad en recepción.

La ubicación no es la mejor pero no es grave, es mejor ser precavidos al llegar tarde ya que tuvimos un pequeño susto. Según booking se puede pagar con tarjeta pero al llegar indican que solo se puede pagar con efectivo, esto está muy mal

Las áreas comunes son hermosas y cómodas. Muy buen desayuno, muy cómodos los cuartos. Gran ambiente.

Un poco alejado del centro (caminata de 20 min, tampoco es demasiado) para caminarlo siempre.

Location is not too far from the city center, but we found the north side of town cuter with more amenities than the south side where the hostel is located.

Private Room A5 was great and super clean. Private terrace (semi private because everyone going to the 1st floor is passing in front of you:)) it's a plus. Nice common areas. Staff was really helpful and nice. Silence room, in this period of the year; might be more nosy with more guests in the hostel. Walking distance from everything (if you like walking - I do!). Breakfast included - with no choice. But it's included and delicious.

Lockers are very small - not for suitcases not even a 40lt backpack - which is not a drama just to explain :) Only payment in cash - but the staff will help in sorting out if you need to find an atm etc...

Me sentí muy bien en este hostel. Desde mi punto de vista solo el jardín y el desayuno es fantástico. Las camas son cómodas, está limpio y el personal tiene muy buena onda. La ubicación no está exactamente en el centro, pero tampoco está lejos. Lo recomiendo porque yo volveré.

זה היה ממש כמו בית עבורי. החדר היה מדהים, ההוסטל עצמו מעוצב מושלם וגם הארוחות בוקר המשותפת והפעילויות זו דרך נהדרת להכיר אנשים וזו חוויה! יותר מהכל הצוות הכי מאיר פנים ודגש מיוחד לכרמן, שבאמת הייתה כמו אמא קטנה עבורי, מעזרה בטיפול רפואי, עד עצות לטיולים, אין מילים. אין ממליצה ממני, ההוסטל הכי טוב שהייתי בו בטיול שלי.

Nice beautiful small garden, a terrace with a hammock. Dormes beds are equipped with everything and feel private. Ladies serving breakfast were vey kind. Men receptionist were both kind & helpful. All in all it's a good hostel and I do reccommend it!

The comments below are just suggestion for improvement. Bathroom had very little space with showers & toilets next to each other. Too crowded and unpleasant. Only two showers for men. One didn't have a proper pressure and the other dripped even after closing so you get splashes while getting dressed. I recommend define a specific area for co-working. It was disturbing to have ppl making phone calls at breakfast as it was their office. The same for the rooms. Volunteer in the dormes had a phone call with a speaker for an hour. Very disrespectful. Also, make only the upper terrace for smokers (or be a smoke free hostel). Not in the main garden by the rooms and breakfast area. Old woman receptionist wasn't so kind. I suggest to include in the breakfast eggs. It's very cheap and will make guests to feel better. Charging the price of a dozen for two eggs makes you look bad.

Ficamos sem água quente 2 dias, informamos os funcionários e eles tinham “esquecido” de ligar o aquecedor aqueles dias (foi o que alegaram) / colocamos placa para arrumar o quarto em um dos dias (estávamos em suíte privativa), não foi arrumado nem trocadas toalhas / café da manhã com pouca variedade / pedimos uma chave extra para o quarto (estávamos em suíte privativa em 2 pessoas), disseram que só tinham 1 chave

Café was onverwacht dicht en een ochtend geen water gehad. Ook per ongeluk een nacht teveel geboekt. Dit 3 dagen op voorhand laten weten maar het verblijf kon hier zogezegd niets meer aan doen. 0 moeite gedaan om te annuleren en terug te betalen maar vertelde dat het via Booking moest. Wanneer Booking dan uiteindelijk toch reageerde dat het voor hen goed was en goedkeuring gevraagd hebben aan het hostel, weigerden ze te terug te betalen omdat het te laat was. Heel zonde.

Beautiful colorful property. Well taken care of. Loved the garden. Great mix of interesting people staying. Not all young travelers. Great activities on site.

My only suggestion would be to add better individual fans in each pod since they tend to get hot. The little mini fan helped, but could be better.

1. I had severe food poisoning and contacted this hostel early in the morning of my reservation to inform them I was too ill to travel to Oaxaca that day. My hostel in Puerto Escondido called a doctor who gave me a IV drip for my dehydration. I improved and I was able to travel the next day to Oaxaca. On check-in I was told I had to pay in full for 2 nights at the hostel. Despite informing this hotel well before check-in that I would not arrive on the first night of my reservation . In addition I presented the doctors note. 2. The female dorm smelled damp strange. You could hear water running all night.

-Wunderschöner Innenhof mit vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten und Hängematten und Dachterrasse mit Aussicht auf die Stadt -Gutes Frühstück mit inbegriffen -Betten wirken fast wie eigene kleine Zimmer, sehr bequem und geräumig

Super Atmosphäre, ich habe 2 Nächte gebucht und 3 Nächte verlängert, danach war es ausgebucht und ich musste ausziehen leider! Man kommt schnell ins Gespräch mit den anderen, ist aber kein Party Hostel, abends ruhig und man kann super schlafen. Frühstück super nice und lecker, alle sitzen an einem langen Tisch. Habe beide Ausflüge zu Monte Alban und Hierve El Agua gemacht und fand sie sehr gut!

The place is wonderful! A colourful oasis! Very clean and nestled a bit quite off the center. Generally calm. Easy to walk downtown (10-15 min) Breakfast was good, served with a smile every morning! loved the breakfast room in the morning! Staff was helpful and friendly (specially Danyel ;) ) The cleaning ladies were nice and often cleaned the shared areas (bathroom, shower, kitchen...) thank you!

I liked pretty much everything, but few recommendations : - take credit card fo booking ;) easier than paying cash - include eggs in the breakfast and rise a bit the price of the breakfast if needed - the 4 ladies dorm is small. not a lot of space, so travel light if you reserve this dorm. - not a lot of lights in the room excluding the reading lamp

Wow, we loved everything about this place! The vibe is incredible, everyone is super kind and welcoming. The room was spotless and they offered a daily cleaning service, which made us felt it even more luxurious. The setting and events (our favourite was the authentic Mole dinner!) incentivises interaction and gathering - we met tons of fun, likeminded people, with whom we even travelled some days. Overall a big big recommendation from our end. Only regret is not having stayed longer ;)

Ventilatoren statt Klimaanlage, dafür mit Miniventilatoren in der Schlafkabine, leider aber dadurch laut. Außerdem ein Fenster im Dach, genau über das Bett, dadurch wurde der schalf gestört.

Loved the cozy design and the beautiful interior in our room. Staff was nice as well and it is a great vibe in the hostel but not noicy. Perfect for a family in the junior suite.

The coffee for breakfast needs improvement, it was also a bit of a hassle to drag the suitcase up the narrow staircase and through the yard, but I guess people use more backpacks here so my mistake ;)

Hostel très sympa, assez calme, parfait si vous cherchez un endroit tranquille près du centre de Oaxaca. Ce n’est pas un hostel très festif, ou du moins pas pendant que j’y étais, mais il propose tout de même quelques activités comme des cours de salsa ou des déjeuners oaxaqueños, ainsi que des tours comme Monte Albán ou Hierve el Agua. Les chambres sont propres et bien équipées : petite lumière, rideau et casier pour ranger ses affaires. La cuisine est bien équipée et propre, le jardin est sympa pour se détendre. Petit plus pour le petit déjeuner, vraiment délicieux!

Very cute hostel/B&B with nice design/ artwork, good breakfast and super friendly staff speaking English and Spanish. The place offers a calm and relaxed atmosphere. You can book tours and activities. I recommend the street art walking tour through the city.

Unfortunately they don't accept credit card payments. My room was facing the street which was a bit noisy at busy times.

There was a bar nearby with loud music. It didn’t keep us awake but might be a problem for some. The water temperature was difficult to control. Water water was wasted in trying to balance input from hot & cold. I did love that I had hot showers every night. We loved our little terrace with chairs & a small table. Wrr Ed also loved the floor space. Furniture was economically placed to provide nightstands but not clutter the room. An exceptional experience was the comraderie of the Xmas Eve posada. We learned the call & response songs, lit sparklers & whacked a piñata.
