OYO Sunrise Hotel, A46 N Leicester

The comfort of bed, value for a double bed in this price was a score. The space of the room and en suite facilities. It was completely clean, whilst it does have aged flooring, and doesn't look premium, it was a brilliant value for money. Where reality and necessity meet and had a little extra love to give a double bed.

The door not having a inside extra lock was a discomforting, but I understand it had required a key to enter specifically. That just was the only thing. And the cover on the sofa was a little dirty but not where I slept anyway

Price

Very outdated, not the cleanest of places, mold all over the bathroom, but you get what you pay for. Only 2 plug sockets.

Given that it was basic roadside accommodation it was fine. I slept well being at the back of the block and the shower was fine.

The parking was horrific. No one warned me that the carpark would fill up completely. There were cars and vans everywhere including on the electric charging points, the grass and the slip road to the busy A46. A stressful half an hour was spent waiting for any space to become available and then worrying about the car getting damaged.

Everything was so filthy, the mattress and pillows so old and uncomfortable, all the building very smelly, mold on the shower, I will never recommend it to any one

The whole place needs a re-vamp. The room was really shabby, very tired decorating. Needed hoovering, didn't smell very pleasant. Only used the toilet out of necessity. I had wet wipes with me as I wasn't going to use the bath/shower.

Soft mattress

Clearly unclean, poor attention to detail as pointing in shower black and dirty, and lights filled with dead bugs. Unpleasant smell throughout the whole building, coupled with poor cleanliness made for a very uncomfortable stay.

Clean linen and comfortable bed.

Basic. Room located right next to fire exit on ground floor which was open all night which I did mention to the Reception but nothing was done about it. As a single female traveller I was worried someone might be able to access my room.

The location was brilliant. the room was clean and comfortable we had asked for a downstairs room which we were allocated. The staff in reception were friendly and helpful.

There was an abnormal amount of black mould around the bath and the bathroom didn't seem to be very clean

Located beside a motorway but it was very quiet, no traffic noise. Clean & convenient. Overlooking the English countryside out our window which was at the back side of the building.

No mini fridge to have fresh milk etc to make a morning coffee. The coffee vending machine took my payment & all I got was an empty coffee cup & the machine completely shut down & restarted. Did not get my coffee! Not owned by the motel.

The awful man at the desk was rude and discourteous. They knew I had a dog. I booked in advance. He was trying to get me to pay £20 in CASH for my dog I told him I didnt carry cash only cards he wanted me to get some from a cash machine. I refused point blank I knew it was a SCAM he wanted to put the money into his pocket. The RAT. I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN.

The cost of the stay and location were just about acceptable for a one night stop over.

Too noisy due to the location being close to the a46 and heavy traffic. General cleaning needs to be addressed as walls were covered by liquid splash. Poor choice in food snacks. Bed was too soft but acceptable. I will not be booking again

You get what you pay for - a cheap place to stay with just the basics. Convenient if just passing through and need a place to stop.

Decor was quite dated, lots of tatty worn bits. Mattress was very soft but I had a reasonable night's sleep.

No one was there to check us in at 4pm, no one answered the out of office mobile numbers.. 4 weeks later im still waiting for a refund and everytine I call to chase no one knows whats happening and no one calls back as the hotel manager has tk sign ofd compny refunds. Avoid at all costs

Cheap place to stay for a couple Of nights when at an event nearby. Friendly staff. Allowed the dog.

Could do with more pillows. Perhaps 2 per person ? Also some bleach down the toilets.

Conveniently located for my purpose. Very affordable. Staff were extremely helpful and felt like they went out of their way to accommodate me despite them not being present - communication was superb! Bed very comfortable,

The door to my room felt unsafe as I was unable to lock it properly from the inside. As I was staying with my young child, I felt safe but did doubt the door. The room was very hot and I did not want to open the windows again for the safety element. We only had 1 bath towel and one hand towel. Room was dated and needed refurbished but for the price I was satisfied.

Its perfect if you need somewhere cheap to stay while working away

Some items in the room could use a touch up, the hotel is a stone throw from the a46 which can be noisy late into the night, especially if your room is on the front of the hotel but the windows do block the noise pretty well.

The room was filthy and not cleaned properly. Rubbish was left on floor. Shoes were left under the bed from previous occupants Flies appeared out of the toilet when lifted toilet seat And flies also appeared inside kettle when coming to fill up they flew out!

Pésima la atención, casi simepre tocaba tocar el timbre y esperar mucho tiempo para que apareciera el/la recepcionista. La limpieza a la habitación durante la cuatro noches que nos quedamos sólo fue un día, nos cambiaron de toallas porque cuando llegamos la tecera noche no las habían cambiado y lo solicitamos. Pésimo, lamentablemente.

El aseo, la atención. Lamentablemente ya habíamos pagado todas las cuatro noches que nos íbamos a quedar.

Decent shower pressure

Strong chemical smell in the corridor and room. Room full of flies despite the windows being closed when we arrived and they persisted to irritate throughout the night. Filthy mattresses and pillows. Didnt dare to take the duvet covers off! We did get new pillows when we complained. Dirty shower curtain and staining in bath. Missing weights in the vertical blinds so they flapped continuously if windows were open. My expectations had not been high but this is the only hotel in the area. Next time I'll bring a tent....

Bathroom was disgusting

Me and my mother stayed here for 1 night. Would never book again. Lots of flys in the room. The single bed had 4 mattresses. The double mattress was disgusting very stained. The pillows were filthy although they did change these for clean ones. The bathroom was mouldy. We went to a party so was only there to sleep but was very tempted to sleep in the car.

Bathroom was a bit grim, mouldy, peeling paint. Bathroom door didn't shut properly either. Tiny towels provided. Only one power socket in the room for a 4 person family room. No AC, very hot. Basically pretty run down and in need of a refurbishment.

There was nothing I liked about it and within 50 minutes of checking in. I had booked another hotel nearby and left.

The smell in the corridor was horrendous.in the room some of the blinds were missing. It was as suppose to be a twin room but it was a small double bed and a sofa with a mattress put on top and a bed made up. The toilet was also dirty. I have sent booking.com a message as o feel I should get my money back as I had to stay somewhere else but I have heard nothing.

The property desperately needs updating, the room stunk of cigarettes, there was rubbish down one of the beds, holes in the walls, mould in the bathroom. We stayed here last year before heading to a festival and it wasn’t nearly as bad

Dirty bed sheets, bathroom and room were both dirty. No signal in tv. Had to use Netflix. Dusty. Bathroom bin was still full from previous occupancy. Damp in the bath room. Blinds broken. Years of grim on the bathroom floor.bed was over extremely soft like a bouncy castle. Dirty walls and looks like it not been painted in years.
