Ligt aan een drukke weg waardoor je soms hinder hebt van het lawaai.

The hotel is amazing, what i would call a proper 5 star hotel, well run staff were all great, the use of the beach area that goes with the hotel as great especially after a busy day round the city

The room exceeded expectation as it has a small balcony we weren't expecting, it was a good size, city view. Modern and clean with good service from housekeeping. There is a good sized swimming pool that is rare for malaga.

Such a beautiful, opulent, palatial building. Stunning flower display in the lobby. Gorgeous gardens. Fabulous furnishings. We felt very spoilt to be in such a special place.

Small details really but ones that had an effect on our stay, namely: The only mirror was outside the bathroom by the entrance door to the room. Not near to any sockets for hair drying. The desk should double up as a dressing table with a mirror above where the most sockets are. No handles on the heavy and awkward wardrobe doors. Very difficult to open. Almost as if they hadn’t been quite finished. Breakfast was very much over priced and missing some very basic ingredients so we did not consider this good value for money and will prevent us from coming back.

The location is excellent, within walking distance to the old town and port. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. There is a lovely pool and access to the beach if you want a change of scenery. The driveway, reception areas and rooftop are beautiful and I would advise going to the rooftop for drinks as it is really relaxing.

The service around the pool was very poor. We were waiting for over 30 minutes for a drink and some nachos. Another day we met friends for lunch and the service was so slow. They need a better system and more staff. The staff were really good but they need more working around the pool area.

Excellent stay! Perfect location, impeccable service and exceptionally friendly staff. The apartment was beautiful, comfortable and spotless, with excellent housekeeping. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Everything! Hotel was great. Clean and comfortable. Beach access was very simple and they really catered to you everywhere you went! Wonderful staff! Overall awesome time! Location 10 mins from square via taxi or 20 minute walk! Recommend the walk beautiful city!

I would suggest upgrading the room to ocean view. We had level 0 room still very nice and comfortable but we were overlooking a garden. Worth the extra upgrade charge.

Room is spacious and beautiful. The cleaning service in the room is great, and the ladies who do that are very nice and helpful. Beach is right in front, across the street. There's a good gym.

Concierge did a terrible job. We asked for a taxi to take us to Marbella. The taxi fees, according to everyone we asked, should be between 70 and 90 euros that day. We were charged 140 euros, instead. We also asked the concierge where to spend the day in Marbella, since there are beach clubs and restaurants, and he answered "anywhere, there are many things for you to choose". Very lazy, and dishonest. I don't recommend using their taxi services. There could be a beach service too, since it's an expensive hotel. They only offer water there.

Fantastic service from all staff, excellent facilities including spa, beach and pool and restaurant. Fantastic breakfast, spacious and well decorated room, perfect location in a quit area at the beach and still close to the city centre.

El trato recibido no fue el correcto. El personal de recepción no está a la altura del hotel y el personal de seguridad igual, parecía que estaban trabajando en un mercado en lugar de un hotel de 5 estrellas. Los camareros de la piscina igual, tardaban muchísimo. Este año muy muy mal.

Good location. Efficient staff although there was an expectation to tip for every service

Sunbeds by pool very close together so right next to the person beside you. No privacy. There were also no balconies in the rooms which was really disappointing. The rooms only had a coffee machine and no kettle so if you drank tea you couldn't have one in your room.

Un olor muy raro en la habitación y el personal de recepción y seguridad no saben tratar a las personas. Por lo demás normalito para ser un hotel de cinco estrellas. Por cierto los pedestales de espejo con los arreglos florales del patio interior todos rotos, hay que cuidar más los detalles. Decepción.

L'organisation du service autour et au bout de la piscine. Les commandes sont livrées par un autre emplyé que celui qui les a prises et sans indications prècises de localisation du client. A plusieurs reprises nous avons du nous déplacer pour "rattraper" le serveur qui retournait au bar avec la commande. Il est même arrivé, l'avant dernier jour, qu'à plusieurs reprises l'aller retour soit effectué. Après avoir relancé la personne qui prenait les commandes en lui demandant si"ça venait de Madrid" (sur un ton de plaisanterie! la même boisson (Coca) qui avait voyagée plusieurs fois a été livrée "réchauffée" et partiellement dégazéifiée. Elle a été offerte.

Another fantastic stay. Room was spacious and staff were all lovely. The lifeguard was so helpful to all the guests, nothing was too much trouble. He really went above and beyond to make the guests feel comfortable.

The only disappointment was that the room didn’t have a balcony.

Hotelul este excepțional, luxul este la ordinea zilei, decorurile hotelului sunt fabuloase, serviciile impecabile, personalul foarte amabil și foarte prompt, curățenia este de absolută! Locația este fabuloasă, simți ca ești în altă lume, intr-un film din perioada interbelică în care ești înconjurat de aristocrati și în care ești tratat asemenea! Sincer, este cel mai frumos hotel în care am fost cazați vreodată și totul a fost la superlativ! Dacă există vreun loc unde să ne dorim să revenim acesta este! Am avut cea mai frumoasă lună de miere posibilă în această locație și dau nota 10 cu felicitări!

Totul a fost la superlativ, impecabil, fabulos! O mică recomandare aș avea pentru conducerea hotelului și anume să asigure și micul dejun în prețul camerelor! Atât și nimic mai mult!

Hotel is lovely , rooms so clean and well maintained Staff are excellent. Must mention Guy handing out the towels at the pool, I didn’t get his name , he wears a baseball cap. He is so helpful and friendly and really good at his job. The hotel should be glad they have someone like him, excellent.

The property was immaculately clean, stunningly beautiful, located right by the sea and a 10-minute walk away from the historic district center with all of the main cathedral, Picasso museum, restaurants, as well as the main boardwalk with all the shops and restaurants. It was also a short walking distance away from the castle and the fortress of Malaga. The beach was clean, serviced with complementary beach lounge chairs and umbrellas. The sea was clean and beautiful with the only downside being the unusually cold temperatures for the Mediterranean Sea. The staff were friendly, helpful and the overall experience with the hotel was amazing!

Nicely located and beautiful architecture, good quality of food, great swimming pool area and wonderful service

- They sell basement level (-1 really) as deluxe rooms with very limited daylight and they call a view of surrounding bushes city view. They say they try to solve the problem but the only solution is either big extra payment for another room or the same type of room with the same lack of daylight - Breakfast is rather limited in choice as for a 5 star hotel, no fish and not many vegetables - strange rules not allowing guests to eat at some tables outside and only drink at some others, waiters agree that it’s all strange but they can’t bring you the food to all tables

Nada más llegar te hacen sentir que es un lugar especial. El hall y las instalaciones están fenomenal y las habitaciones muy bien decoradas y con un ambiente perfecto. El acceso a la playa con zona reservada está muy bien. Zona de la piscina muy agradable.

Pues dos cosas: 1. La insistencia en la recepción por coger el desayuno que yo no necesitaba. Veo bien que me lo.propongan pero no esa insistencia. 2. Lo que más me incómodo con diferencia fue que estuve en el hotel mientras se disputaba el mundial de futbol y quise ver algunos partidos en las televisiones de la piscina que disponían también de cafetería. Pues me resultó muy incómodo la insistencia en que consumiese, que más bien me recordaba a un bar de barrio que a un hotel como este. Simplemente quería ver el partido tranquilamente y si no me apetece tomar nada más pues no deberían insistir. Era como si tuviese que dar explicaciones de que no me apetecia tomar nada más. Llego al punto que me marche de un partido a verlo a la habitación.

The room was spacious, the bed extremely comfortable, everything was clean. The common areas were gorgeous, and the staff was superb.

I wish both the pool and the spa were bigger although I enjoyed them!

The hostel architecture, landscape and interior design are great. Location is one of the best in Malaga.

Room location, some items are broken in the washroom

El hotel está muy bien situado, con muy buen servicio y atención, especialmente destacable el trato y amabilidad en la zona de tumbonas y sombrillas en la playa por parte de Alberto y Miguel.

La habitación triple familiar estaba en la planta cero, y a pesar de ser amplia y confortable, no era posible ver en ella sin luz artificial, era extremadamente oscura, incluso en las horas centrales del día. Los últimos días las tuberías del baño daban algo de olor. No me gusto que dado que había hecho la reserva del hotel por Booking, no me aplicaran los descuentos y el programa de fidelización de Hoteles Santos en los servicios adicionales contratados en recepción al margen de Booking, por ejemplo el parking. Me molesto tanto que no hice ningún gasto más en el hotel.

La beauté de l’hôtel, la végétation, sa situation géographique et l’entretien exceptionnel de celui-ci pour une hôtel centenaire. Le personnel attentionné et le service était fabuleux. La nourriture, la belle terrasse, tout était fabuleux.

Afternoon tea: Le plateau d’aliments servi était décevant pour la qualité de l’hôtel. Je m’attendais à quelque chose d’exceptionnel comme service et présentation un peu comme dans les grands hôtels à Londres et à Paris.

It was a truly beautiful building, a lovely pool, very friendly staff, beautiful rooms, gorgeous decor throughout and a stunning breakfast buffet that could disappoint absolutely no-one!

Wonderful location. Beautiful hotel. Great rooms. Wonderful front desk staff, Guest services and doormen.

Pool area. Beds are crammed in like sardines in rows upon rows with zero space between them. Doesn’t reflect the official website images. No ambient music. Many of the Parasols are broken. Pool staff are almost nonexistent. Trying to get service was quite a chore. Very disappointing. 🙁 rooftop area staff also a little disappointing. Ordered vegetarian Gyoza and was given meat Gyoza!. Given the last dregs of a bottle of white wine that had obviously been opened a couple of days before and thus tasted stale. No apology from the rooftop manager. He Just appeared annoyed that we complained. Once again very disappointing.
