I had a wonderful seven-night stay at A Casa di Amici in Palermo in a six-bed female-only dorm. The hostel is beautiful, welcoming and very well equipped, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. My main concern was the lack of locks on the showers. Anyone can enter the bathroom and walk directly into the shower area, which made me feel uncomfortable and offered very little privacy. Adding proper locks would make a significant difference to the overall experience. It would also be a lovely touch if the hostel provided complimentary basic coffee or tea for guests, even if it were just an inexpensive option. Aside from these points, I really enjoyed my stay. A Casa di Amici is a beautiful and well-equipped hostel, and I would happily stay there again.

Die Unterkunft liegt super gut, um Palermo zu Fuß zu erkunden. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen und hatten Glück, in der Nähe einen Parkplatz zu finden. Das Doppelzimmer war geräumig, sehr sauber und praktikabel eingerichtet. Die Betten sind bequem und es liegen Oropax bereit, falls die befahrene Straße unterhalb zu laut sein sollte. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Es stehen Waschmaschine bereit, man kann dort frühstücken oder die Küche selbst nutzen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt & können das Hostel unbedingt weiterempfehlen!

L’emplacement est idéal à 5 minutes du centre ville. Des places de parking payante (1€/h) sont disponibles tout autour du logement. Personnel sympathique. Le bâtiment est ancien mais très beau. Petit déjeuner simple mais convenable.

L’isolation est inexistante avec l’extérieur. Des boules quies sont offertes mais insuffisantes. Les menuiseries très très anciennes devraient être remplacées!

L'aire acondicionat. Sort en vam tenir que el hostel estava ben aclimatat. Per seguir parlant de coses bones però amb algunes millores, valoro bé els espais (eren amplis) la ubicació estava bé i el preu era "barat". El servei de les treballadores també es valora molt positivament: parlen varis idiomes i és més fàcil fer gestions.

Les habitacions tenen mobiliari fluix de qualitat: les guixetes són de metall i fan molt soroll, al costat del llit hi ha unes carmanyoles lligades amb brides per deixar-hi coses; les finestres són de fusta que està bufada degut a la humitat. Tot té fàcil solució: les guixetes podrien ser de fusta o plàstic reciclable; les carmanyoles podrien ser substituïdes per una petita prestatgeria de fusta collada a la paret del llit o per unes fundes de roba que pengin del llit com si fossin butxaques; les finestres s'haurien de canviar, simplement per unes d'alumini. Per últim sobre les habitacions, la taula del mig smb les cadires sobren. Això limita espai. Ho treuria i deixaria més espai a dins l'habitació. Els lavabos de dones només hi ha 2 dutxes (planta baixa), 2 lavabos, 2 piques... Es fa petit quan hi ha tanta gent allotjada. Pel meu gust, al menjador li falta algun tipus de sofà o butaca. Tot eren cadires de fusta per seure i no eren còmodes.

La terraza es maravillosa y las habitaciones eran cómodas. Está en buena zona de Palermo, no es pleno centro pero es un barrio bueno y tranquilo

Ci siamo trovati benissimo. La camera era estremamente pulita e curata fin dal nostro arrivo. Il personale si è dimostrato gentilissimo, accogliente e sempre disponibile per ogni nostra esigenza. Ottima anche la posizione: la struttura si trova in una zona comoda da cui si raggiunge il centro storico con una piacevole camminata di circa 15 minuti

Nota negativa è stata la camera all'ultimo piano in un edificio senza ascensore, un po' faticoso con i bagagli. Nel complesso comunque consigliato!

Ostello molto carino per rapporto qualità prezzo. La zona era abbastanza collegata forse non centralissima ma non ho avuto nessun problema a spostarmi. Lo staff molto gentile e accogliente.

A lovely place in a nice location with very helpful hosts. My room and large and very clean. The other guests were very cool. The atmosphere in this place was special, it felt more like a commune than a commercial enterprise. I absolutely loved it.

공항가는 역이랑 가깝고 9-10시에 다녀도 꽤 안전한 느낌이였어요. 주변에 맛집도 많고 좋았어요

10시-11시까지 음악을 연주하는 소리가 꽤 커서 방안까지 소리가 들렸어요. 규칙이 있음 좋았을것같네요. 안내 그림이 있었지만 체크인때 너무 기본적인 설명 밖에 없었어요

First of all, a huge shout-out to Roberta, who was an absolute sweetheart. She helped us turn our two single beds into a double, making three trips up and down the stairs in the heat without hesitation. Hospitality at its best! We had a fantastic 3-night stay. The location is great – close to Lolli station (about three stops from Palermo Centrale) with easy airport links, and only around a 30-minute walk to all the main sights. Our room was spotlessly clean, with lovely African-inspired artwork, crisp white sheets and fluffy, immaculate towels. The hostel has a really friendly vibe, making it easy to meet other guests. There are musical instruments in the communal areas, a well-equipped kitchen, and a choice of eating breakfast indoors or on the little terrace. Breakfast included croissants, coffee, juice, fruit, yogurt, eggs and cereal. There's also a fantastic, well-stocked supermarket with a deli just around the corner. As two female friends travelling together, we felt completely safe throughout our stay and would happily recommend Casa di Amici to anyone visiting Palermo.

Sehr offene Atmosphäre mit genug Möglichkeit sich außerhalb der Zimmer entspannt zu bewegen und anderen Reisenden zu begegnen. Die Ausstattung mit Küche, Waschmaschine und evm ist gut.

Kaum etwas ist wirklich zu bemängeln. Irgendwann muss das Personal das Schloss desSpinds links in Zimmer zwei austauschen. Es ist etwas laut beim öffnen / schließen :)

Showers were a bit cramped and their drains seemed clogged so you quickly stood in water. Noisy street outside. Not allowed to bring your own beer

Location is perfect. There’s washer and dryer which was very helpful when I needed to do laundry.

The door to the room doesn’t lock automatically, so it can feel a bit unsafe when people leave it unlocked and anyone can enter. Same goes for the luggage room. I think there are some ways to manage them better (switching to a card system, locking the luggage room etc)

We stayed in the private room for four people. It was spacious and clean. The room has air conditioning, although it’s not very powerful.

We chose this hostel instead of a hotel or Airbnb because we were looking for a more social atmosphere. Unfortunately, we found the social aspect to be almost nonexistent. We visited during a very warm weekend, and the hostel felt a bit too far from the historic center, where most of the attractions and activities are. Normally, a 20–25 minute walk wouldn’t be an issue, but in the heat it became quite tiring. Because of this, we would recommend staying closer to the historic center, especially if you’re visiting during the warmer months.

Amazing location, decor is fantastic, rooms quiet and cool. Palermo is a very loud city and the rooms remain rather quiet overall from the traffic. AC is good and I liked my stay in room 2. The coming facilities are great with gas cooker and microwave, also fridge and utensils. Free p.c. computer to work or research on. Fair priced washing machine at €4 and you can hang washing up to save on tumble drying. I would always recommend messaging ahead when booking for a bottom bunk and away from the room doors for more silence. Ear plugs are also provided free. The stay give casa di amici the edge and the ladies are absolute angels; I've stayed in many hostels and this is one favourite away from the chain enterprises that can squeeze a penny until the eagle screams. The only recommendation I would have to improve the hostel is dorms for guys and dorms for dolls. I would definitely stay here again and not only for the lovely guests I met and talked about all sorts in life is again, the staff. Fantastic souls ❤️

Dobra lokalizacja.Wygodne łóżka. Obsługa bardzo miła i pomocna.Bardzo dobrze działająca klimatyzacja w pokoju.. Dobrze wyposażona kuchnia.

Płatne ręczniki. Dość wysoka cena za nocleg.. Możliwość używania pralki za dodatkową opłatą ale tylko w bardzo krótkich cyklach.

Es war ziemlich laut, da man die alten Fenster nicht richtig schliessen konnte.
