Barba Rossa Residence

Water was cut due to watermain problem. Need lots of improvement.

Check-in/out’larda da sıkıntılar vardı.

Not according to pictures. The staff was rude to one 8f my guests to the point that he no longer entered the lobby and stayed outside each time he followed us to our hotel.

Musste eigenes Klopapier besorgen.

It's very clean and friendly place in the heart of Besiktas with vary reasonable prices. My favorite spot.

Extraordinary location, and super price for such service and cleanliness. Not a 5 star hotel ,but you get more than ,what you pay for.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was fine and clean, but you probably won't be able to sleep properly on the weekends due to automobiles on the street honking their horns until morning!

Property was in a premium spot, and very close to shopping and transportation. Property not well maintained and lots of stuff falling apart or already missing (mirror, shower head, closet handle, bed head, etc). Bed sheets had some stains. Staff not well versed in English. Overall, it was OK for the price paid.

The staff was very friendly and lovely but the room was not enough clean

Fotoğraflar da göründüğü gibi hiç yok odaları pis sıfır temizlik havasız kliması düzgün çalışmıyordu tevsiye etmem beş para yetmez.

Konumu dısında cok kotu bir otel cok pis bakimsiz bir otel

Bad services and dirty 👎

Hepsi Yalan

Yatakları toz içinde yerler ve çarşaflar leş gibiydi.kirlenmemek için duşa bile girmedik.çadırda kalsak daha temiz hissederdik.tek kelimeyle berbattı.

Good location

Terrible experience. We had booked and paid online but the day we got there, they told us that the room which we had booked and paid for had been given to another person. so we had to search for another hotel since there was no other empty room. We lost our time and money...

Nothing can be worse than staying in this hotel. I had paid for six days but had to leave in three days. Me and my family have experienced to sleep with wearing face mask 😷 the whole night. It was difficult to breathe because smoke there and i don't know where it came from No elevator you have to carry your luggage by stairs yourself Can't say even one word positive about this hotel

Cok kötüydü pisdi havlu sabun fön makinesi hicbiri yoktu tv kablosu kopmuştu çalışmıyordu yataklar kullanilmisti daha önce rezervasyon yaptigimiz odayi da vermediler buyuk oda yerine küçücük arkaya bakan pis bir oda verdiler hokde yerde bira siseleri vardi giriste hes kodu da sorulmadı .10 dakika zir durup ciktik otelden .otel bike denecek tarafi yok acilen buranin kapatılması gerek

Temizlige biraz daha ozen gosterilmeli

I can’t believe this customer service of website!!! It is 4th days that i wrote them for refund my money because tgis hotel is cheated and don’t use it at all! Now they send me email for the review of my staying!!!! Is it a joke!!! Wworste website, cheated and dirty hotel with rude personel. The website don’t answer about tgis issue and just wasting tome!!!

Very bad hotel and very poor rooms and bathrooms Also, the worst thing is the reception is courteous and the staff are treated poorly

I never found this kind of hotel before. The room was dirty and no internet connection. Then I asked for sandals but they didnt have any. Also they wasnt prepared towel and bathroom mat before I requested. In addition, I cannot put my luggage only for 3 hours after check out. He want me to pay eventhough only for 3 hours for 30 tl. I chose this place cause its location that in front of airport bus stop. But it wasnt working since I need to pay more to put my luggage. Its totally was not worth it to spend almost 150 to stay at this place. I dont want to book this place again. Very dissapointing.

It was not wharever you think .They showed you nice picturs on inyernet but please please do not trust it .poor quality and poor managing there was .

4,2/5 gibi bi puanı hak etmeyen bi mües

Pislik içinde bakımsız.

İnanılmaz kötüydü. Kapatılması lazım.

Kesinlikle gitmeyin tavanı rutubetli çok pis bir yer yatamadım verdiğim parada orda kaldı sokakta bankta yatsam daha iyi yataklar pislik yuvası bana güzel bir tecrübe oldu böyke rezalet görmedim sakın gidip paranızı çöpe atmayın

Courouna, no travel, no reaction from hotel about reporting the dates, according to the new dates of seminars and travel

Bu hotel i , hotels.com yetkilileri inceleyerek sitelerinde calismaya devam etmeliler. Boyle bir konumda ,temizligi cok kotu bir hotel niye calismaya devam eder.......?

Einfach ekelhaft widerlich grausam. Überall liegen tote Tiere. Da geht man gesund rein krank raus.

When we arrived we were told they didn't have an available room, although we had paid and booked online. It took sometime with calls between the hotel and theçç hotels.com, however they couldn't sort out. We had to fimd somewhere else 9 pm on the same day. We still couldn't get refund yet either from hotels.com although they said they were trying to get the money from the hotel. Disappointment from the hotel as well as from hotels.com.

Carsaflar degistirilmemis. Kumanda lamba calismiyor

Excelent location, friendly staff, but no telephone to reach reception, and its Hard to climb up to your room, no lift, but than again very reasonable price,

The bed was awful (almost broken) and although their claims there was no any Wi-Fi at all.

1: bedbugs (pl ask me for videos) 2: the gentleman at desk smoked all his shift leaving the staircase and room full of acrid smoke: like sleeping in a smoker's lounge 3: when asked not to smoke states it's a non smoking hotel and no one is smoking here! 4: mattress and bed covered in thick polythene sheets (I later knew why: bedbugs!) sleeping was uncomfortable 5: staff spoke ZERO English and not keen to help. I caught two bedbugs and gave to the smoking gent, he waived his hands in air like spraying something! Left next day as didn't want to catch an illness. Worst place I have ever stayed in my entire life, would not recommend and would asking for refund from Expedia thank you.

The room is so cold and they didn't anything about it. Also the room number 5 is full of bugs which is so unclean.

Just forget it! They are still living in 18th century! Old guy at reception unable to speak english. He had no idea about my reservation on booking.com. So we had to find another accomodation at 22:00.

I would certainly not recommend this hotel to anyone. It is a very unsafe hotel, the door of the room I stayed in was semi transparent, which made absolutely no sense. Overall, the hotel didn't have any security what so ever. The bed sheets were dirty, the room was very dusty and old. It required a lot of maintainance. The rooms are small and underqualified; it's a complete waste of money.

One of the worst hotels I have been in. The room was pretty scuffed. The Wi-Fi was horrible and unavailable most of the day. The hot water would just stop in the middle of the shower. Electricity would just shut down for no reason at all, they say the problem comes form the street. For less than this price you could get a 4 stars hotel somewhere else. Total scam.

Falsely advertised room wifi. When our devices didn't connect, the receptionist told us the upper rooms wifi only works with turkish devices. That is not stated anywhere. The room was very dirty with thick layers of dust in the ventilations.

We will not repeat it

good for singles. not a family place

Room was horribly dirty, we did not even want to take of our shoes. Window of the room was seeing another apartment and it was too dark in the room. We payed the pris but we didn't stayed there. We prefered stay at our friend's place.. THAT'S TERRİBLE DON'T GO THERE!!!!

I stayed just one night. Staffs are very polite, friendly and helpful. I think Besiktas is center of the Istanbul because It was amazing.. Also I am Besiktas Football Club Fan and when I come to Besiktas Stadium for watch the match, I stay this hotel. I can recommend for everyone.

We booked the hotel at booking. com stayed 3 nights at Barbarossa Hotel .... The Hotel seemed to be very small and thatswhy i booked a 3 bed room. I did ask for a airport pick up and drop of and i got also this for 35 Euro each way.The communication was good and they were really helpfull. A Day before arriving i got an Email about meeting the driver at the airport and his phone number. So i got there got out of the to the meeting point after 45 minutes the plane arrivied but no one was there. I was waiting and later i called and driver told that he was really close. After another 45 min still nobody was there i called again but no answer, so i called the hotel and i got told that there was rush hour and the driver is on his way. I said i m not going to pay the whole price for pick up and drop off with this kind of service. So i got pick up tje driver apologized and we git on the road and drove up to the hotel. Hedroped me there and while i was checking in i regonized that i was in another hotel. Before they told me they would give me a better room but it was in another hotel called hotel academia istanbul 20 minutes walking distance to the barbarossa hotel. Since i organized my trip knowing how to get somewhere from the barbarossa hotel i was a little confused because i got there late at night didnt know where i was and i had first to see where i was. The rooms were big but the bathroom really small and could habe bern more clean. The room was next to the elevator so it was alittle lought at night .sometimes the elevator didnt work and we had to walk all the way up to the fifth floor. The stairs were really dirty and nobody really took care or not sbout this. The breakfast was ok but small instant coffee tea cheese tomatos curcumber jam honey some type of salami not really a highlight . The ladys who worked there took no note and didnt really care, seemed alitte lazy. Well the hotel was in a good area walking distance to restaurants shops boat cruises . For a short stay in istsnbul it was ok but i would not have paid more for it. It was cheap and just ok. If you dont need a luxury hotel and you dont expect to much its ok . People are friendly trying to speak english and people are helpfull. Istanbul is a great city .

stayed here two night and not satisfied at all. got sent to a top floor room which was clearly a clumsy extension to the main building with no proper facilities. can't get into the bathroom as it Is too small and door won't open. shower doesn't work. No hot water at all times. complained for no result... narrow stairs no way to carry suitcases up. Also from a price value point of view I know this town and I tell you there are far better deals out there. avoid.

I made a reservation to a hotel in Ortakoy district but they send me to Barba Rossa residence becousr they were overbooked. It was my chance to stay in such a great hotel with an extraordinary view. They give you typical Turkish breakfast ,which keeps us full untill the dinner time:)
