Deberían cambiar el sistema de apertura de las habitaciones. En cuatro días, nos falló dos veces. En una de ellas tuvieron que cambiar el lector de tarjetas. Eso sí, el personal del hotel nos atendió en cada incidencia de forma inmediata, ágil y amable. El colchoncillo de la cama era quizás demasiado grueso y hacía que resultara blanda para mi gusto.

Our stay here was the perfect escape. The hotel beautifully combines breathtaking, untouched nature far from the city bustle with modern, comfortable designer luxury. We felt completely relaxed. We loved unwinding by the pool with stunning ocean views, eating mouthwatering gourmet food, and joining the excellent yoga and pilates classes. In the evenings, the artistically designed lounge with its ultra-comfortable sofas was the perfect spot to listen and dance to quality live music. Plus, the beach where we swam in a crystal clear water is just a short walk away, featuring a great sports center where one can surf and try kitesurfing. It was an incredible experience!

Un aspetto un po' sgradevole è stata la pulizia generale, sopratutto del bagno. Purtroppo c'erano diversi dettagli lasciati inosservati (come il soffione della doccia rotto, macchie sul marmo del lavandino o sul pavimento della doccia, asciugacapelli sporco, cuscini esterni macchiati, etc). Insomma, non abbiamo visto la stessa cura che invece abbiamo notato in altri aspetti.

El servicio es bastante mejorable. No saben tratar a los clientes con la profesionalidad que se espera de un hotel. Empleados que le hablan mal a compañeros delante de los clientes, prevalece coger el teléfono que atenderte a ti primero y te dejan esperando en el mostrador… y detalles asi que se ven en lineas generales. El desayuno y la cena bastante buenos pero la comida del restaurante a medio día es LAMENTABLE.

STUNNING location facing Sotovento beach. Convenient to the kite / wind sports center, Rene Egli and long beach walks. Comfortable room, relatively newly decorated in a simple beachy style - interior and exterior furniture was well appointed and neat. Room facing the ocean (second floor in B 4) was nicely sheltered from the sun and the wind. Glass wall on the terrace allowed for unobstructed expansive views and protection from the constant wind. Lounge bed on the terrace was an excellent spot to read! Good water pressure and quick temperature adjustment. Nice decor throughout the hotel, lobby, bar, restaurant (even if it is a bit cafeteria-like) Staff were all friendly as were guests All around a relaxed and chilled atmosphere, good energy

Food options are slim! Buffet breakfast and dinner. Food quality. Sadly, average at best! The hotel layout is a bit confusing and the walk from reception / restaurant/ pool to the rooms in B 4 is a long and winding walk - possibly designed this way to shield the walk from the constant wind. Limited paved parking lot but there are many more spots for parking in the dusty windy area behind the hotel. Staff didn’t really promote attractions / activities off property. No spa is very disappointing.

I felt it would be a good idea to review this hotel as I've seen some mixed review comments of the Zel franchise at other locations. I arrived at Zel Fuerteventura two days ago and can say it is excellent. Contrary to some other reviews breakfast buffet is excellent les to choose from and lots of everything. Nice long time allowed from 0730 to 1000. Buffet dinner also is great. Plenty choices and lots of everything again. Good quality meats of various types fresh roast turkey carvery, grilled steaks, seafood. And nice pasta and paella among other things. Again plenty time for dinner from 1900 to 2200. Staff are great welcoming and friendly and we can muddle along well enough in spite of my sadly lacking Spanish 🙄 many of the team speak perfect English and I'm sure some German. Value wise the stay for me solo cost 2200 uk inc flights and transfers and was half board for 2 weeks which I think seems like very decent value given what you get for the money. Would definitely recommend it especially if you like windsurfing or kitesurfing. But even if I didn't do that i would still come back here. Really nice chilled place. Great for solo travellers and there are several others here this week besides me, into double figures both men and women. Place is also no kids, which many adults may also find appealing. Seems to be a complete mix of ages from young 20s to retirees. Seems popular with female groups of friends in the 20 to 40 age range, possibly because of the courses and spa and yoga etc they run and obviously the marvelous location and high quality facilities. The rooms are really nice, clean and well maintained with nice walk in shower with rain head and normal type option. You also have a 43 inch tv wall mounted which you can cast from phones to. You cannot attach anything like USB or laptops though as the rear where you may find hdmi or USB connections is not accessible. Sound quality is not ideal from them with almost no base, possibly deliberate to avoid people annoying their next door neighbours. Access to hdmi and usb and options to attach laptops etc and headphones either by cable or Bluetooth in this day and age should be available really. It is however a small negative, the only one I could mention really. Your rooms are provided with coffee maker,and kettle for green teas (although if you like good English breakfast tea you may wish to bring some yourself or ask for it instead of green). You also have a stocked mini bar which you pay for if you use contents. And they give you a 750ml bottle of still mineral water free each day if you use it. Tap water is from desalination so has a taste to it but is drinkable. The pool and associated bar are nice and have a surfy vibe about them, and plenty high quality sunbeds. The terrace and pool are somewhat sheltered from the winds that the island is famous for. But to be fair the constant breeze here is great in 30 degrees heat. Basically stops you from sweating at all in the heat. Ideal if you want to develop a good tan without having to constantly refresh sunscreen because of sweat. Last but not least you are located right on Sotavento Beach. Which is a beautiful long gold to white sandy beach that stretches for over 7km and had a tidal lagoon which gets to about 3 foot deep in places for about 4km of the beach. Genuinely stunning location. I would say I've of the best beaches I've ever been to, certainly the best on offer in the Canary Islands. The hotel is part of the Melia complex here and there is also a very high quality windsurfing rental place on site. Winds here are much stronger than the rest of the island if you are coming for wind sports you could reasonably expect at least 5 to 10 knots more than elsewhere, possibly twice the strength. The winds work on thermals and geography, so cloudy days can reduce the effect somewhat.

Another great holiday experience -- totally chilled with a great relaxing vibe. All staff are to be commended and Lucia was as always on hand to assist - special thanks to the reception staff and also Julia in the restaurant and Guedo in the bar _ the whole team are a credit to the hotel . The new "Zel" look is a positive change and adds to the overall laid back feel of the hotel . Nothing but positive comments and we look forward to returning in September . Me gustaron mucho las instalaciones y la tranquilidad del hotel. Da mucha paz. El desayuno es muy variado y muy rico. Repetiré seguro.

Lo que no me gustó fué la comida del restaurante a medio día, es bastabte mal y ni hay opciones de sandwichs o bocadillos. Tampoco me gustó que no hubiera servicio de camareros en la piscina.

I (52 years old, male, travelling alone) stayed here at INNSiDE Meliá, now Zel Fuerteventura, for the seventh time in three years from May 28 to June 11, 2026, and I’ve already booked again for September 2026. As I’ve said in my previous reviews: I think this hotel is fantastic! The “adventure” already begins with the easy booking process via the app (highly recommended, as it also offers a discount). I always book a “studio with sea view and garden”. Once again, I was lucky enough to get room #4112. It’s my absolute favourite — very quiet and with almost no foot traffic, as it’s at the end of building #4. I hope I’ll get the same room again in September. One aspect that is quite important to me: Zel Fuerteventura is adults-only (16+). I have nothing against children, but on my well‑deserved holiday I simply don’t need the noise ;-) The chefs put a lot of effort into preparing the menus every day. There is always a rich buffet. Booking half board is definitely worth it. The staff at Zel Fuerteventura are very friendly, personable and extremely helpful. Lucia welcomes the guests at dinner. I’m not entirely sure about her exact role, but I believe she is one of the people who keep the operation running smoothly with the many employees. Pedro and Antonio from the service team always have a smile on their faces and take everyone’s needs into account. Unfortunately, these are still the only names I remember. I’ll try to do better in September. The rooms are always cleaned and tidied very nicely. I would also like to thank the staff who take care of the buildings and the outdoor areas. Everything always looks beautiful, well‑maintained and spotless. As a Swiss person with a tendency toward cleanliness, I naturally appreciate this very much :-). Once again, I want to express my gratitude for an unforgettable and wonderful holiday. The island and Zel Fuerteventura have definitely become my second home.

Tolle Atmosphäre, ruhig und entspannt. Wunderschöner Ausblick, gutes Essen und tolle Cocktails. Perfekter Ort zum runterkommen und Akkus wieder aufladen. Es leben auf dem Gelände auch viele Katzen, die von einer Charity versorgt werden. Das sollte man wissen. Wir haben uns über die Vierbeiner gefreut :)

Leider waren Geschirr und Besteck nicht besonders sauber, mit Essensresten oder Spuren von Lippenstift und deutlichen Fingerabdrücken auf den Gläsern. Das war teilweise etwas unangenehm, ist aber auch der einzige Kritikpunkt. Alles andere war top.

La verdad es que las almohadas que son bastantes buenas a mi no me gustaron porque yo utilizo otras que no son de pluma de oca, se me hundía la cabeza y era incómodo. El colchón que también es bastante bueno para mi gusto pero le dobra el colchoncillo que lleva encima lo digo porque a mí me gusta las camas más dura, pero eso es cuestión de gusto. Aún así todo perfecto. Gracias

Spacious rooms, beautiful hotel and amazing beach just outside the hotel. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had in a long time. Overall an excellent stay, would recommend and be happy to come back.

Es uno de los mejores hoteles en los que he estado. La habitación es enorme y comodísima, la tumbona de la terraza es inmejorable. Hay silencio y tranquilidad. Los salones comunes son preciosos y con varias zonas para poder elegir. El personal es amabilísimo. La comida y bebida son estupendas. Para recomendar y para volver, sin duda.

¡No se me ocurre nada!

Zeer netjes en zeer rustig gelegen ver weg van de drukte. De bediening in het restaurant is zeer goed snel en zeer vriendelijk personeel en het ontbijt is zeer lekker en het avond eten is oke niet whaw.

Geen kamerjassen en geen koffie /thee op de kamer. Weinig verluchting in de badkamer. Katten die in het restaurant rondlopen is volgens mij onaanvaardbaar. Geen dresscode ‘s avonds er komen mensen in short eten … als directie zou je op ten minste een opmerking moeten maken !!!

Lage war wirklich unfassbar schön und das Essen hat uns auch komplett überzeugt - wir hatten erst nur Frühstück gebucht und am ersten Abend im Hotel gegessen und waren so begeistert, dass wir das für die anderen 6 Abende als Halbpension dazu gebucht haben. Vorallem als Vegetarier ist es meistens nach einer gewissen Zeit eintönig zu essen - aber das war hier gar nicht der Fall. Absolute Empfehlung auch von der Einrichtung, Gemütlichkeit und Wohlbefinden. Wir hatten Bauarbeiten im Nebenzimmer und haben gefragt, ob wir hier eine Lösung finden, da wir morgens um 8 Uhr geweckt wurden dadurch - wir durften in ein anderes freies Zimmer umziehen, also auch vielen Dank dafür!

It was a lovely resort good for families with loads to do.

If youre looking for cheap and cheerful, this is probably not for you. If youre after a rather luxurious experience where the staff are friendly and helpful, the food is great (definitely recommend the breakfast and dinner option) and the weather is always nice then look no further. There's nothing around here really, no shops, no clubs, just peace and quiet, and loads of desert. There's a bar and DJ in the evenings, if that's your thing. Only complaint: sometimes the tide goes out and the lagoon right in front of the hotel empties out.

The location is very nice and the staff is super friendly. Everything was very clean and the atmosphere was relaxing.

Overall good hotel with great views and next to the beach and cool lounge area. Main problem: Unfortunately despite the website saying pool is heated, it is freezing cold. Several other guests were in agreement. A heated pool was the main reason for us choosing this hotel over others so was really unhappy with that. Water Temp was 20’c most days. Staff weren’t clear if it was meant to be heated or not. Spoke to manager who said that it may be warmer in summer months and cooler in winter months- I advised this defeats the purpose of a heated pool- you want it warm in winter. He agreed to get back to me via email after a week after his ‘investigation’ but two weeks on and no email…. Most of the hot breakfast food was cold but when I raised this they did put the heat lamps down which helped a little (not quite enough).

A second, relaxing stay in the comfortable and spacious Beach House, this time for nine nights with half-board service. Why? It's all about the fabulous location, overlooking the long beach, lagoon and hills with some special birds, including great grey shrike, greenshank and little ringed plover. Plus the exceptional breakfast and dinner buffets: delicious, varied using high quality local produce; the well maintained, lovely gardens and helpful reception team. We were very relieved that the re-opening of the all-inclusive, child friendly hotel behind did not impact the peace and ambience of INNside. Many thanks to the whole team.

Frühstück war perfekt...es ist wirklich für jeden etwas dabei. Das Service Personal in den unterschiedlichen Einrichtungen( Essen, Bar, Pool etc.) war unglaublich schnell und perfekt. Gratulation hierzu.

Wir kamen am 6.3.26 gegen 17.00 h mit dem Mietwagen im Hotel an und wurden auch von einer unglaublich Hilfsbereiten Person zum Zimmer geleitet. Was danach kam ist und war ein Unverschämtheit . In der Zimmertür klafft ein 1 cm breiter Türspalt, durch diesen hat die ganze Nacht der Wind gepfiffen. Die Türfüllung ins Bad war ,morsch rechts und links, in der Dusche Schimmel. Beim Handwaschbecken und Bidet lief das Wasser nicht ab. Die Armatur war durch Kalk blockiert, was auf längeren Nichtgebrauch schließen lässt. Ein Wechsel des Zimmers wurde von der Rezeption abgelehnt. Auf das Argument, dass solch ein Zimmer nicht vermietet werden darf , wurde nicht reagiert. Zwei Tage später wurde dann rechts und links von uns alles renoviert. Wir durften also die ganze Zeit das Hämmer, Bohren und Sägen ertragen. Wie gesagt ein 4-Sterne Hotel. Auf eine Entschuldigung oder Entschädigung warten wir noch heute.

Location was Gorg! Just a little far from the main hot spots so you need a car.

No coffee machine?, pool area looks bigger in the pictures then in real life, and the staff for some reason couldn’t supply bottles of water at the front desk very odd for a 4 star hotel, also parking is advertised as on site when it’s not it’s behind the location, the gym and water sports are also separate from the main location, the food was also not great needs some work.

This hotel met my expectations in every way. From the warm greeting on arrival from reception to the amazing view of the lagoon. We choose a garden room which was great a really good size room with private garden. The Sun beds on the patio were really comfortable. The overall feeling was of relaxing and quiet nature. Every staff member were very helpful and extremely pleasant. The pool area was lovely and very well kept you can order food and drink to your lounger with the help of QR Codes. I think perhaps on some days there was a shortage of sun loungers by the pool with some people doing the towel on the lounger in the morning routine and then disappearing for portions of the day but I am not sure the hotel can do anything about that. We were happy to lounge on our terrace and then go up for swim when we wanted. The breakfast buffet and lunch were really good. We enjoyed drinks in the bar in the evening and played games which are supplied. Overall 10 out of 10.

This is a fantastic hotel. The location is superb, great view over the lagoon, short walk to beautiful beaches and easy access to longer walks along the coast and inland. The food (breakfast and buffet evening meal) was wonderful (high quality and varied). The staff were brilliant. Professional, friendly and very helpful. I would particularly like to high light the two gentlemen who were on the front desk on the morning of our departure (Friday 21/3/26) who found us an urgent taxi to take us to the airport when our Shuttle did not arrive. Excellent all round.

I can only give a poor review due to the cats walking around in the hotel restaurant. The hotel, staff and food is excellent but we didn’t know that cats were allowed inside the hotel restaurant. I hope this will be solved in the future then you will get a 5 star review. Best regards Anders

Spacious room very hygienic maintain the swimming pool properly. Great location if you want to enjoy peace and quiet.

Posizione sul mare. Struttura spaziosa e gradevole. Molto bella la camera con giardino e vista oceano.

Scarsità dei prodotti per il bagno (abbiamo trovato solo sapone shampoo e crema corpo. Non erano presenti cotton fioc, dischetti ovatta, spazzolino, rasoi….). Da migliorare la pulizia quotidiana della camera. Molte zanzare, anche nella camera.

Room excellent, plenty of room (a bit expensive for upgrade to seaview). Food first class.

L’originalité de l’hôtel ,l’accueil, le personnel très gentil, la qualité des repas et petit déjeuner, la déco de la chambre avec terrasse ensoleillée à l’abri du vent proche de la plage. Le coffre -fort gratuit ainsi que deux bouteilles d’eau par jour si consommées. Le très bon sèche-cheveux , la propreté et les groupes de musique certains soirs.

Le lit trop ferme , nous venions de trois jours à Corralejo dont le lit était très confortable donc déçus . Piscine trop froide. Pas de vrai salle de musculation. Trop de chats dans l’établissement, mon mari est allergique.

Tout. L’emplacement, la chambre très spacieuse et confortable, nous étions dans un des studios avec jardin vue mer … La taille humaine de l’hôtel. L’accès à la plage facile et rapide à pieds. Le calme alentour. La piscine, le personnel rapide et efficace. La qualité des propositions de la carte, même le buffet nous a plu alors que nous ne sommes pas fan de cette formule . Les chanteurs et musiciens du soir au bar tous très quali . Bref un super séjour. Hâte d’y revenir un jour !

Es war einfach überfüllt an den Tagen unseres Aufenthaltes und somit war es ein Chaos beim Buffet, beim Tisch suchen und Schlange stehen ist nicht mein Ding.

Liegestühle besetzt obschon niemand drauf war. Wie halt so oft.

El hotel es increíble, la decoración y las habitaciones de ensueño, y las vistas impresionantes. El personal de recepción hizo un trabajo excepcional, y nos hizo sentir como en casa desde el primer momento. La limpieza de las habitaciones es perfecta. Los conciertos de música por la noche lo hacen un lugar mágico. En las fechas que estuvimos, primera quincena de agosto, no estaba nada masificado, cosa que buscábamos también.

La experiencia se vio empañada por el trato que nos dieron los camareros del restaurante. El horario de cena, como en el resto de sitios del sur de la isla, cierra muy temprano para el horario español, a las 22:00. Me senté a cenar a las 21:40, preguntando al personal si era demasiado tarde. La respuesta fue que estaban abiertos y que podía cenar, pero cuando me vio una de las camareras pasó por al lado de mi mesa exclamando "joder tío", trato que considero inaceptable de cara al público. Me hizo sentir incómodo y cené todo lo rápido que pude. Pinchando el último trozo, retiró el plato instantáneamente sin mediar palabra conmigo. Miré el reloj y eran las 22:03. Al día siguiente, a las 15:00 aproximadamente, obras en una sala/habitación cercana interrumpieron mi descanso, con fuertes sonidos de taladros y barras de hierro. Me sorprendió que un hotel de 4 estrellas en agosto, claramente destinado a descanso, estuviese haciendo obras a esa hora. Como detalle menor, la última noche quisimos ver una película, ya que en teoría el televisor de la habitación permite reproducir contenido enviado desde el teléfono móvil, pero el Chromecast no funcionaba.

Hotel is nicely located with a beautiful view of the sea and dunes. I had a seaview room which had an amazing view and sunshine from morning to evening on the balcony. The balcony has a huge sunbed which makes it so cozy. The room is big and beautiful too. The staff is very nice and helpful. The buffet in the morning and evening is very good. Would be great to add one cheese that is only goat or sheep milk for people that don’t want cow milk cheese. Also one final remark: would be awesome to maybe offer the room at a slightly discounted double room price for single travelers in between the main seasons. Would be much appreciated by single travelers. Will be back!

Another fantastic stay for Christmas at Innside Fuerteventura! It was excellent to see the recent renovations—the updates are really refreshing the hotel and look great. As always, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food selection at breakfast and dinner remains extensive and high-quality, and those iconic views never get old. So glad to see our favorite spot getting even better! See you again very soon!
