Hilton Garden Inn Silao Aeropuerto Bajio

El personal muy amable y fueron muy pacientes con nosotros ya que requeríamos el servicio del transporte para el Aeropuerto. Todo el personal fueron muy amables en indicarnos que el transporte ya iba en camino. Una atenta sugerencia: Que indiquen claramente a la salida del Aeropuerto donde llega el servicio de transporte para esperar ahi.

El personal y estética de las áreas comunes del hotel muy bien.

Las habitaciones muy comerciales en relación al costo. En el baño se generaba un sonido agudo que duró toda la noche impidiendo nuestro correcto descanso. El costo del desayuno buffet está un poco alto para lo que encuentra uno en otros hoteles. Preferible irse al Dennys que está a un paso, gastas lo mismo pero a la carta.

La atención del personal es impecable, las políticas del hotel están acordes con los lineamientos de la aplicación. Definitivamente es un lugar para disfrutar y regresar

El baño de mi habitación presentaba fallas; el depósito hacía demasiado ruido constantemente. Además, los switches de la luz estaban dañados, lo que dificultaba apagarlas con facilidad. Considero que deberían tener mayor atención en el mantenimiento de las habitaciones para brindar un mejor servicio.

Piscina muy bien, no desayuné ahi. Me gustó mucho lo tranquilo del Hotel.

Very convenient location for the airport. Everything was clean and staff was very nice. They have a lovely roof top bar, restaurant with great views of Leon. Menu was limited but I think that’s because it hadn’t caught on yet. Lots of potential.

La piscina estaba algo sucia, yo disfruto mucho de nadar lo que me agrada es que no hay mucha gente y puedo disfrutar de la piscina estuviera genial fuera mas tibia, los cuartos son amplios y las camas son muy confortables el top y los mas agradable es que no te tocan en la habitación y te despiertan temprano para la limpieza, respetan mucho la privacidad, a pesar de este inconveniente definitivamente es un lugar al que regresaría.

It wasn’t up to a Hilton stands, but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Lots of noise from adjacent room.

Rude manager and courtesy van did not show up at airport after they asked me for flight. Lied and said van was broken but I saw driver in van taking a guest to airport. Cost me turmoil at airport and cost me 350 pesos plus tip for taxi! No apologies and many lies. Restaurant didn’t have ANY wine. Said none left!!!I have proof of all info. and will be contacting their general manager. Bad experience. No person at entrance for assistance.

Their rooftop is only open friday and Saturday. The food is overpriced in their lobby restaurant. They have limited availability with their shuttle. Did try to book but the times available were not convenient so we ended up booking our own transportation. Rooms were clean.

I am going to say now what I did not like. I don’t like the system with the only one key to open the room door, especially because the lights only work with the key in and the elevator only worked with that key so that meant that my daughter had to stay in the darkness while I had to go down the stairs for a while. The breakfast price is not competitive at all with the other hotels, we stayed at hotel ECCE as well and the breakfast was plentiful and offer multiple choices and it was $250 for 2 people. I think this Hilton is ok but not very good compared to ECCe

I swam in the lap pool which was a glorious way to start the day. Breakfast was delicious. Staff attentive and helpful.

Did not meet expectations. We had to stay an extra day in Silao so I specifically booked the Hilton Garden because the listing showed a rooftop terazza where I expected to spend some time while we waited the extra day. The terazza is closed except for Friday and Saturday. Nothing in the listing indicated that. Also, knowing Silao, I requested a room on a higher floor. After booking I received a note from the Hilton Garden saying a higher floor was no problem at all. On arrival, our room was on the first floor. The explanation was that I requested a balcony and only the first floor rooms had balconies. Fine, but no one could explain why I received the note that a higher floor was okay. A bit confusing and stressful. In the end we were changed to a higher floor. The room was fine, the bed was comfortable. Without access to the roof it was a bit boring, hotel restaurant staff advised against walking to el centro. A bit disappointing. The airport shuttle was excellent, even with a 3AM departure.

This is without a doubt the worst Hilton I have ever visited, and I'm a Diamond member so I frequent them. Two stars given only because the staff were friendly, 3 were taken away because the place is just really a dump. Several things in my room were broken, including the sliding patio door, which did not lock. There were crushed Modelo beer cans on my patio as well, since it appeared anyone could just walk right onto it. Serious security issue! The room was very very basic, the shower ice cold. The nice photos show of a rooftop patio with views? Nope, there was nothing there! No tables, no staff. An empty space, so my idea of getting a sunset drink and food did not happen. This was on a Saturday night around 7pm. The pool looked nice enough, but unfortunately, I guess there was no security or closing time, around 1am there were clearly drunk people screaming and running around, and unlucky for me, my room was up the hall so I got to hear it all. I had to get up at 3 to leave to the BJX airport, and I did not appreciate losing the sleep due to this. If you want to avoid the pool noise, do not let them put you on the first floor, and do not book a room with a balcony as they are all on that floor, and totally accessible to anyone, from outside, and not private at all. NO view anyway. I had to get to the airport for an early flight, and I did use the shuttle at 3:30 am. It did show up and leave on time, so that was a positive. Although, the shuttle was not a Hilton shuttle, but one from a neighbouring hotel.  Honestly, as I live in San Miguel de Allende and fly out every few months, so I don't like to do the 1.5 drive at 2am, so I stay closer to the airport. In the past I have stayed in Guanajuato at Maria Christina, which is further away, but a beautiful historic hotel.  I went as far as to change my next flight to the other local airport so I could avoid booking the Hilton Silao hotel again. To my pleasant surprise, there is a new Hilton a 30 minute drive from the QRO airport that is beautiful and well run, and that is the one I will be using from now on. This hotel in Silao is an embarrassment to the Hilton brand, and that is not due to the staff who were at least, accommodating and friendly. Upper management at Hilton should put some money into improving the hotel, fixing the Many issues, or, they should remove the Hilton name from it.

Very close to airport but very far from SMA,GTO and the Leon show shopping area. We stayed 1 night, and had to ask for new bed linen because what was on the bed was dirty. We got there early and couldn’t check in or leave our luggage until we could check in, so we sat around on our phones for almost 2 hours. It’s a decent hotel, but personally, I would think twice before staying there again

The staff at this property were friendly. Our check in was quick and easy. We also had dinner at the restaurant on site which was good. The room was clean and crisp. I would return in the future.
