Reviewed Sep 15, 2026A very well run and designed hotel with a great and central location in Les Houches, close to the TMB starting point, bus stop, grocery and the Bellevue cable car. It is very clean, check-in was super quick and the staff was helpful. The shower was nice and the breakfast was delicious too.
The pillows were thin but we asked for another one and it wasn't a problem.

No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. No spare pillows in the room, had to ask for extra. No other seating in the room apart from the beds, limited clothes hanging space.

Pas de climatisation. Parking sécurisé mais un peu cher (15€ la journée), 10€ me paraîtrait plus raisonnable.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026fomos no verão e o quarto não ter ar condicionado ficamos com muito calor, pedimos um ventilador e isto nos ajudou muito. Há estacionamento no local, mas pequeno e a localização é uma boa opção para passar o dia em Chamonix, na proximidade há 1 restaurante bar e na cidade onde fica não há nenhum ponto turístico. Jovens buscam o local para pernoitar quando vao para escaladas. Sim! a região tem muitos jovens que sobem montanha e fazem trilhas. Café da manha bom para Ibis, limpeza boa. O que pegou mesmo foi o calor.
Poderia ter ar condicionado e o quarto ser mais claro.

There was a heatwave in France. Despite assurances that the weather would cool in the night, the room remained warm. Understand that there is no air-conditioning but not even a fan! Room was quite small, had a bed and towels. That was it! It was the highest price we paid for accommodation during our one-month trip - to be somewhat fair, it was because there was a big event in Chamonix - but the lowest in terms of value. A portable fan, a vending machine for drinks, ice-machine...some simple additions would have moved the needle significantly.

Nous avons réservé 5 SEMAINES à l'avance 2 chambres single. Dans la demande de réservation j'avais bien précisé qu'il y avait une personne âgée de 90 ans et demandé 2 chambre avec vue montagne. J'ai reçu un message de l'établissement qui m'a dit que ma demande était acceptée. A notre arrivée à 16h30 , nous avons eu 2 chambres au 4e étage, avec des marches d'escalier ( merci pour la personne âgée ) et 2 chambres complètement différentes: - pourtant facturées au même prix : la 402 grande , claire avec terrasse et vue sur montagne.. conforme aux photos sur le site....et la 401 sous les toits avec une minuscule fenêtre , sans aucune vue, sauf sur la route et la moitié de la chambre inutilisable car il fallait se pencher pour accéder aux 5 cintres pour ranger ses affaires. Aucune table ou chaise à l'intérieur de la chambre. Je souligne le fait qu'il est mentionné sur le site que les chambres ont une superficie de 14 m2 , celle ci n'en faisait que la moitié utilisable... " J'ai demandé rapidement à changer de chambre," l' hôtel est complet" m'a t on dit, alors que la majorité des voyageurs est arrivée bien après nous., il y avait donc possibilité de faire un changement à ce moment là! Le personnel de l'hôtel m'a confié que les plus jolies chambres sont au 3e étage , pourquoi n'en avons nous pas bénéficié en faisant une réservation bien à l'avance et en voyageant avec une personne âgée ??? D'autre part, toujours dans cette chambre 401, le joint de la douche est complétement abimé , ce qui à valu de mettre de l'eau sur tout le sol de la salle de bains....J'ai beaucoup apprécié de tout essuyer ... Parking payant au prix prohibitif de 15 euros la nuit . Nous sommes arrivés au petit déjeuner à 8h 45, dévalisé par les précédents voyageurs.... le réassort a été très long et incomplet puisqu' il a rapidement manqué de nombreux aliments.....

The lack of air conditioning in the room was a drawback for us. Additionally, while the vast majority of the staff were kind and friendly, we did have an unpleasant interaction with one of the stuff members during breakfast.

La petitesse de la chambre et des toilettes , le bruit côté route fenêtre ouverte à cause de la chaleur.....et le matelas mauvais

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und hatte eine sehr große Auswahl. Auch das Familienzimmer war geschickt eingerichtet und hatte Platz für unsere 3 Kinder. Das ist sehr außergewöhnlich und hat uns gefallen.
