The room was lovely spacious and clean.The host was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was a lovely continental with loads of fresh fruit yougart and selection of meats and cheese.The host even made us extra coffee.

Reviewed May 5, 2026I was working early nearby and so arrived late at the Lodge. Kathleen stayed up to meet me and talk me through the morning. When she found out I was gluten free, she made sure I had a really good gluten free breakfast ready in the morning, which set me up for the day. The bed was super comfy and the room nice and dark, so I slept really well. It was everything and more that I needed it to be.

Reviewed Oct 30, 2025A very warm welcome, literally, as the accommodation was lovely and cosy. Beautiful soft water in the powerful shower. Comfortable bed with extremely fresh linen. The breakfast was perfect and delicious. I didn't want for anything and couldn't have asked for more Thank you to the wonderful Kathleen and her family. Looking forward to staying again some time!

The house and grounds are beautiful and our room was perfect. The highlight was the breakfast,we paid an extra €10 each for the cooked breakfast and could have licked the plate, it was great! Will definitely be recommending to others!

There is nothing I did not like. It feels like Kathleen has opened her home to you.
