Aloft by Marriott Seoul Myeongdong

The hotel is in a phenomenal location if you want to experience Seoul in a short time. I got a room with a beautiful view of the city. The room amenities are excellent—everything you need is provided.

The minibar was empty

Lage: Mitten im Herzen Myeongdeongs Frühstück: große Auswahl an warmen Speisen, kalte beläge, frisches Obst, Eierstation, Eierkuchen, Croffle, ...

Great location. Nice place.

Hotel is great and Staff were exceptional. Had an extended stay here and we were made to feel right at home. Tiffany, Evan Chris, Julie, Shetty and Connor provided fantastic service during our stay with a friendly positive nature. Excellent breakfast with good range of food. Room was clean and fully functional. Convenient location.

Lifts can be a bit slow during busy periods.

There were pleasant surprises: We arrived 10am and yet our room was thankfully available. Coffee & popcorn throughout the day were free. It rained on our last day and umbrellas were easy to borrow. The staff were young & friendly.

Nothing really.

Lokalizacja, obsługa.

Słyszalny hałas uliczny, mało wydajna klimatyzacja

I like the Location only

The Rooms are way to small and the manager of the hotel not professional at all

Everything

Excellent location, very kind helpful staff highly professional, breakfast is variable and good quality.

Location & staff

Location was the best! The staff were friendly and welcoming. The cleaning crew were so cool

Excellent location, friendly staff. Clean and spacious room. Ice machine just outside the room. Walking distance to Myeondong market and Euljiro.

Aloft Seoul Myeongdong was an absolutely fantastic place to stay and exceeded my expectations. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Myeongdong and within easy walking distance of shopping, restaurants, cafés and public transport. The hotel is modern, stylish and welcoming, with comfortable, well-designed rooms that provided the perfect retreat after busy days exploring Seoul. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the staff were friendly, professional and always happy to assist. I particularly loved the vibrant atmosphere and convenience of having everything nearby. I would happily stay at Aloft Seoul Myeongdong again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.

Hotel was amazing. There was nothing that I didn't like. Would highly recommend.

Good location

Breakfast room staff are not good . Bfast is supposed to run until 10:00. By 09:30 hotel guests were being turned away and those in the bfast room were told that bfast was about to close . Cooked breakfast items were running low by 09:30 . I complained about this to the hotel . The very next day nothing had changed , still just as bad

Location of the hotel

The elevators only 2 and slow

The location was excellent. It was nice to have a water filter in the room and also popcorn and coffee

location was great and very clean

nothing

Great and attentive staff. Room was nice and spacious. Very great laundry room with two good washing machines and two dryers. Very nice and convenient location in myeongdong.

This hotel is right in the centre and close to many restaurants, shopping centres, train stations, markets and only an hour or so to the airport. I used a bus to and from the hotel to the airport and the bus stop is not far from the hotel. Tour buses also stops metres from the hotel. Had a pleasant stay here. Staff were nice and helpful too. Rooms spacious and well equipped. My room had the best views.

It’s in an excellent location. We got a junior suite which was the perfect size for two. The staff were amazing, friendly, and helpful.

Nothing.

Posizione, staff, comodità della stanza, letto, personale cortese. Tutto bellissimo

This hotel was really nice. The staff were really friendly. The room was good as we got a breezy suite. The room came with a water filter, which was really easy to get water. In the lobby, there was free coffee and free popcorn. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Konumu cok iyi.

The hotel met our expectations 100%. Both the hotel and the rooms were always in good condition and clean. The room was large enough for two people and our luggage. The hotel was a pleasant place to stay and was conveniently located near all of our destinations. The hotel offers laundry and drying facilities—note that the machines don’t accept cards, but otherwise they work great. You’ll find everything you need near the hotel (sights, transportation, convenience stores, restaurants, etc.). Traveling to the airport via Uber was convenient.

We loved staying here. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom has lots of shelf space. There is even fresh popcorn in the lobby all day which is a nice treat for when you’re feeling hungry. It’s in a good location with a small food market that opened up at night around the corner.

Location cleanness, and the staff was very friendly

Not a lot of option for room service the menu was lacking variety and no creamer for coffee in the room. Breakfast was the same everyday and boring, food didn’t seem fresh

The location is excellent, a short walk ( less than 5 mins) where the airport bus shuttle drops off passengers and pick up passengers to airport. It is near the main Myeondong shopping strip with lots of eateries around the area. They had free coffee and pop corn in the reception area. We had a twin bed room and room is big enough to put two luggage comfortably.

The 2 lifts worked very slowly. Takes a while waiting for lifts. Breakfast was ok but we wish there were more local specialties..example they have Vietnamese noodle..wld have prefer local dishes like rolled egg etc. The fruit selection was very limited.

Everything was great, except there was only one nightstand for both of us, which was inconvenient.

Not having two separate nightstands.

Meget sentral beliggenhet. Flotte og store rom og veldig hyggelig personale. Veldig serviceminded. Anbefaler Hotellet.

Location and confort

Breakfast to repeatitive

Miły i w zasadzie kameralny hotel, pomocny personel i wzorowa czystość. Bardzo dobry transfer autobusowy z/do lotniska. Wyposażenie pokoju bez zarzutu.

Prawdopodobnie okna mają ograniczać poziom hałasu z otoczenia, ale w naszym pokoju dźwięki z Namdaemun-ro były dosyć dokuczliwe.

The staff was extremely nice, my room was nice and clean, the food was excellent, and the location was perfect.

Modern interior, good comfy beds, great location

N.A

Location is perfect, and staff are very friendly and kind Loved the complimentary popcorn machine and coffee machine on the lobby

The pillows are too soft

Very centrally located. Excellent rooms and very courteous staff

The service is excellent. During my stay on the 2nd night, the aircon seems not cold . I thought is still acceptable but on the 3rd night, the room is hot. Their technician immediately attend to my room and they brought a fan for us. The next day, their team came to rectified the aircon problem and the room is cold.

As I had been staying at this hotel whenever I came to Korea, there is nothing that I dislik.

Good location

While the staff were pleasant, I was somewhat disappointed by their lack of helpfulness.

All staff are friendly and helpful. Location wise is superb, it is less than 5 minutes away from the busy shopping street of Myeongdong. It is easy to get around to places as the subway and bus stops are also within walking distance. Plus point is that the hotel has a self-service coin laundry so there's no need to bring many clothings and save luggage space for more shopping :)

- comfortable - clean - excellent location

1) Conveniently located in Myeongdong shopping area with close access to lines 2 and 4. 2) The staff are pleasant, courteous and professional. 3) The great convenience offered thru the provision of a filtered water dispenser in the room as well as hot cum iced water dispenser along the corridor. 4) The suite room we were staying in is spacious and comfortable, and we like having a walk-in wardrobe particularly that it is an for an 8-nite accommodation.

The lifts may take a while at certain timing but it seems to be a common problem amongst South Korea’s hotels.
