One night after bike trip over the islands to Imabari. Picked the hotel for closeness to rental car pickup next day. Close to Imabari Castle. Imabari isn't really anything special, hotel is typical mid-range, totally fine. Probably would have gone for western breakfast after 12 days in Japan, Japanese breakfast is set, not a buffet.

I made a mistake while reserving and arrived the day after (the day I thought I had booked). They were very kind to allow me to check in without paying again. That was a great gesture. Nice hotel close to the port, and 20 minutes from the train station. Breakfast was good.

レヴュー通り周りにあまりお店はありませんが、駅前まで出るとけっこうあります。 お部屋はキレイだしスタッフの方々は優しい笑顔で丁寧に接してくださるのでとても気持ちが良かったです。 ドアから廊下の騒音が聞こえますが疲れてすぐに寝たのであまり気になりませんでした。

Hotel room was cheap, do not expect much from the location as there is nothing within the local area to do or see. It seems very derelict and you will need transport to access other activities and provision particularly if you want food. Checkin was not great; understand there is a language barrier. However the receptionist made us feel incredibly awkward. I handed the passports for the two guests booked into one room and indicated myself as the main booker. She continued by checking passports several times, asking several times if we had meant to book one room. I would assume due to the fact we were two males. This caused embarrassment with others queuing to check-in behind us and showed a lack of diversity understanding. Also once finally checked in, no information was given at all about the hotel, amenities available, whether breakfast or dinner was available and check out times which would have been expected. Upon checkout; no pleasantries exchanged just took the keys. Again understand a language barrier however I would not recommend staying here. Particularly if an international tourist due to the clear language barriers.

部屋も広く、ベッド良かった、ユニットバスも狭くなかったが、隣のテレビの音や朝のシェーバーの音が丸聞こえでした、神経質な方は気になるのでは？

とっても美味しそうな香りが漂うフロントで良かった。ただまわりにあまり飲食店がないので、ちょっと苦労するか…

残念ながら周辺の商店街はさびれてる。 しかしながら、ホテルで無料の自転車をお借りできたので良かった。

今回の旅行の目的に最適のホテルでした。 次回もまた同じ部屋に泊まりたいと思います。

ビジネスや素泊まりには向いていない宿です。豪華な食事が魅力的な宿ですが、一方で清掃やホスピタリティの部分では物足りなさが際立ちました。せっかくの旅行を嫌な思い出にしたくないので高評価をつけました。

しまなみ海道ライドでの宿泊でした。部屋に自転車を持ち込めて良かったです。 スタッフの方々も親切で快適に過ごすことができました。

こぎれいでゆっくり出来ました。 何故か和食の朝食にコーヒーが無いのが残念。

暴風だったので、風の音でうるさかった以外は問題なくすごせました。

周りはラストランとかほとんどなかったですが、港が近くとびしま海道やしまなみ海道へ行くのにとても便利でした。

今治駅からは徒歩十五分位かかりますが 海も見えるし、ホテルはきれいでいいですね！

friendly staff, very helpful and the area was amazing with the Imabari castle visible from the street. We'll go back again and stay longer.

しまなみ海道の出発点、ホテルの直ぐ近くにバスの乗り場がありとても便利です。今治城に行くのも便利です。食事も美味しい。

近くに食事する場所が無いけど、駐車場は無料でランドリーが沢山あり、洗濯するのに便利だった。長期旅行する私たちにはこういうホテルがありがたい。

新鮮な魚料理が並び大変美味しかった。予約されるなら食事セットがオススメ。

The hotel's reception area and bar are quite modern with some cute Japanese décor and homewares on shelves. There is also a complimentary 'amenity buffet' so you can pick up some extra soaps, shampoos, bath salts, etc. any time you need them. We had a washitsu (traditional Japanese tatami room) on the 3rd floor that was moderate in size but very clean and looks to have had a recent renovation as the bathroom was very new and modern. Imabari's main shopping street is just a 2 minute walk away with some nice coffee shops and homeware stores. There are also two Poeme stores very closeby where you can buy Imabari's local sweet treat which are perfect with coffee and also as a boxed gift idea too! The nearest convenience store (a Family Mart) is about a 5 minute walk away and Imabari Castle is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel's front entrance and makes for an interesting afternoon and has an excellent 360 degree view from the top. The hotel has bicycles that you can rent for free, however the seats were very uncomfortable and even a little painful (though it might just be me, as I haven't ridden a bicycle in quite a few years and am a big heavy Australian bloke!) Our futons were very comfortable and we had a great nights' sleep and felt very refreshed in the morning. Unfortunately we made the decision to go to the Imabari Kokusai Hotel for breakfast instead of having breakfast at Hotel Kikusui Imabari and we had quite possibly the worst buffet breakfast there. Really regret we didn't just stay and have breakfast in-house, as the food at Kikusui looked to have been far better and at a fraction of the price too! Couldn't fault this hotel and will absolutely stay again on my next visit to my old hometown of Imabari!

建物は時代が感じられました。しかし清潔で明るいホテルです。部屋のトイレは自動洗浄式ですが、ヒーターが無いので、便座に貼るカバー（100円ショップで有）を買いました。 　食事は、和洋共美味しかったですよ。二泊しました。 駐車場は、広く無料です。

夕食付のプランにしました。愛媛と言えば、鯛料理が有名ですが、鯛料理づくしの夕飯でご飯は鯛釜飯♪チェックインの際、スタッフの方が夕飯に降りてくる時間を前もって聞いて下さり、その時間に合わせて釜めしが食べれるようにして下さってました。また、量も丁度良かったです！加えて、１階フロントでは好みの入浴剤も無料で選べます。ユニットバスは大変狭いですが、長距離運転で疲れた身体をリラックス出来助かりました。

笑顔で親切に対応してもらったので、快適な気持ちで過ごせた。

スリッパが袋に入ってないのが 残念だった

清潔感があり、お部屋ツインにしては広くてよかった。その分トイレとお風呂が気持ち狭い。大浴場があったらもっとよかったです！

アメニティの充実がとても素晴らしかったですし、お部屋の綺麗さも素晴らしい！ もう少しお金取っても良いのでは！？と思いますよ！

夜遅くチェックインしたにもかかわらず、温かい対応でした

ビジネスホテルですが夕食朝食ともにお値段以上の美味しさでした。鯛のかぶと煮、フグの唐揚げ 最高でした。 4泊を3泊に変更したのですが、心良く対応して頂きました。

とてもきれいなホテルです

今治周辺に宿があまり見つからず画像で建物がきれい目立ったので今回利用させていただきました。エントランスは写真のようにきれいでした。選択したプランは和室で進んで行くと階段を挟むと急に嗅いだことのある昔ながらのホテルの匂いがしてきます。おそらく会談を挟んで新館、旧館になっているのだと思います。なので和室を選択すると旧館になると思われます。エレベーターホールでは枕のチョイスができます。いざお部屋に入るとプチリフォームした箇所が所々見受けられます。夏場の利用だったので直ぐにエアコンを入れるとカビ臭の洗礼、喚起をしようと窓を開けると網戸は無し、空気清浄機があったのでONするとこちらからも少々のカビ臭。手を洗おうと向かうと手洗い・お風呂・トイレの一体型、ノズルの向きで手洗い・お風呂が切り変わります。シャンプー類はPOLA製。トイレは松下電工の洗い付きでしたがいつまで待っても洗ってくれることはなかったです。朝食は和食御膳で程よい量でした。駐車場は狭め、コンビニ遠め、10分くらい歩くとドラックストアがありました。スタッフの方は笑顔で親切でした。コロナ禍何とか乗り切ってください、次は洋室利用します。

今回は思ったよりべっが小さかったのでフロントに大きめもしくはシングルベッド2台の部屋に変更していただけないかと尋ねたらすぐに追加料金が発生するとも言わずにもう一部屋用意していただきましたが、翌日チェックアウトの際に追加料金を支払う羽目になりました。 せっかくその他が良かっただけに残念です。

朝食付きプランがおすすめ 6時から朝食開始時間が6:30でした。もっと早くから食べられると早朝から活動出来るのに。。。。

自転車の持ち込めない狭い部屋を予約してましたが、部屋の前の廊下に置くよう勧めてくれました。評判通りサイクリストに優しい宿です。

お酒の自販機の売り切れが多い。

距離車站10多分鐘路程 附近沒有便利店 酒店整體整潔 員工英文一般 用英語跟他對話 竟然叫我用英文說話。。。

The free bicycle rental is a nice bonus (definitely the best way to explore Imabari and the Shimanami Kaido). Our room had a good view of Imabari Castle. It did get quite warm, so it's probably best to leave the air conditioning running. The ferry terminal is right next door, and there is a bus that goes to Imabari Station if you don't fancy the 1.3km walk.

No non-smoking room. The cigarette smoke can be smelt

自転車を室内に入れられるのはありがたいと思いました。洗剤を買えば洗濯機も無料だったので、サイクリストに優しいホテルだと感じました。 コンビニまでの距離、カーテン代わりの襖は微妙ですが、その2点以外は最高でした。

Superbe accueil les deux dames a la réception etaient adorables. La chambre etait relativement spacieuse en comparaison des chambres au Japon. L'hôtel est tout près des quais pour les ferry et autres commerces.

We ( distinctly elderly) did some of the bikeway. Great. Taxi from hotel to sun route, electric assist bikes, gorgeous views - easy! Room was spacious and modernized. The bathroom was an older and smaller version of the capsule bathrooms found everywhere. We walked from the station ok. The location was very nice, adjacent to the port and the walking street. Restaurants were not that obvious, but the staff marked a map for us. Lots of extras available, shelves with pillows, iron, whatever, to just help ourselves. There were plenty of washers free and dryers not that expensive. We found that having one western breakfast ( with the coffee) and one Japanese breakfast we were able to meet our needs. Cafe over at the port building was good for coffee and snacks. I think most guests were bike riding.

Very basic hotel. Rooms are quite old and require an update. Staff was very nice and helpful. Location was good.

Old fashion hotel but okay for people who stay only for a night after a bike trip.

お部屋が狭く、少し古い感じがしました。 お湯呑みが割れているのがあったのが残念でした。 ただ家族風呂があり、時間ギリギリでお尋ねした所快く使わせていただき、とてもよかったです。 ホテルの周りは何も無く、商店街も夜早く閉まるので、食べるお店探しに苦労しました。 駐車場は無料なのでありがたかったです。

Although not in a very touristy area, the hotel is terrific. Good sized rooms, helpful staff and very comfortable beds. For a meal, including a nice breakfast, visit Terminal 01 and Terminal 02 connected to the bus station across the street at the waterfront. The views from the outdoor patio at the top (Terminal 02) are fabulous.

It was just what we needed agter viking the Shimanami Kaido bicycle route. Very friwndly staff. Quick check in and very good bed.

I came with my 3 twenty-something children. We biked the Shiminami Kaedo cycle route and this was our lodging at the end of the route. We rented 4 bikes in Onamichi and were able to leave them at this hotel to arrange return with no additional hotel charge. FYI, You won’t get your bike rental deposit back if you don’t return your bike to the place you rented it from. This hotel also has good laundry facilities; no charge for washers; driers are ¥100 for each 30 minutes - if you have a big load, you will need 90-120 minutes to get clothing completely dry.

Great hotel staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast. I got an eye infection and I don’t speak Japanese. They arranged an appointment with a local eye clinic for me. They couldn’t have been more helpful. They have free no hassle covered motorcycle parking. There isn’t much around the hotel, but if you walk a few blocks away, the Imabari castle is there as well a a convenience store and a few restaurants.

This modern hotel is a 5 minute walk from the castle and 1 minute from the shopping mall. Our twin room was spacious for Japanese standards - it even included a sofa. The bathroom was tight and all plastic so no electric outlets. In fact, there was nowhere in the room to dry my hair in front of a mirror. The bathroom tap was shared between the sink and shower so if one person was showering, the other couldn’t use the sink. Never seen that before! However, the AC worked great and the beds were comfortable - softer than the usual beds in Japan. All in all, a good stay.

By far our most pleasant accommodation at Shikoku on our four-day trip. We had a perfect city view outside from our reserved semi-double room. The room was graciously spacious compared to other similar types of rooms that we have previously booked. In addition, the hotel staff were overly considerate of us and very eager to help us and make us feel comfortable during our stay. Would definitely come again if I happen to be in the area.

The manager was extremely helpful in assisting us with riding the Shimanami Kaido. Hotel is located across from waterfront & bike station. The breakfast & dinners at the hotel was fabulous.

I lived in Imabari for 2 years and my husband and I stayed for one night before doing the Shimanami Kaido. While the hotel is well located for the port and downtown area, there is little around to offer foreign travellers, and the hotel staff don't speak English (I speak some Japanese). We tried to arrange to get our luggage transported to our next hotel (in Kurashiki, one hour north of Onomichi) but despite the information available on the Internet and my previous research, we were informed that we could not get it delivered on the one-day service to Kurashiki, and it could ONLY be transferred to Onomichi, and ONLY to a hotel on their list. As we didn't have a booking in Onomichi we tried unsuccessfully to get the staff to arrange an alternative for us. While the lady at the front desk went out of her way to help us, this couldn't be arranged and we were forced to make a cheap hotel booking in Onomichi just to get our luggage delivered. I give this advice to anyone wanting to arrange hotels in Imabari/Onomichi, who is wanting to do the bike ride and get luggage transferred, especially if you do not know any Japanese language, as there is little English spoken by people in Imabari. Apart from this stress, our stay was fine. :)

staff was courteous. hotel and room was simple and small. breakfast was good. good location. definitely worth the price.

Arrived on what must have been a local closing day as not much was open. We went to a local okonomiyaki restaurant where the owners were very friendly despite the language barrier.

This is a medium size hotel about 10 minutes walk to station or Y680 taxi Close to Imabari port. Room was small but very comfortable with small capsule bathroom. Yukata supplied with comfortable couch to sit on. Meals very impressive with unusual Japanese flavours and dishes. Staff welcoming and helpful.

Stayed in twin room - each bed was about the size of the usual double-size bed in most Japanese hotels, and the room was enormous. We were able to put our bikes and large trailers in the room, and still have lots of room to move around in, even with a large desk and full-size couch in the room! Friendly staff, very clean room, great deal for $110 for 2 (nicer than most $110/night rooms in Chicago.) Would highly recommend.
