Stunning views right on the beach. Beautiful spacious suite. The host Rita and Nick are so lovely and helpful. Highly recommended.

L'emplacement est super! réellement au pied d'une magnifique plage!

Pas de petit déjeuner, ni dîner à l'hôtel mais il y a des restaurants de l'autre côté de la rue en prenant le tunnel. A savoir que la chambre la moins chère est plus petite que sur les photos.

Das Haus am Strand ist wirklich etwas sehr Besonderes. Ich hatte vor Antritt unserer Reise viele Unterkünfte angeschaut, auch in Wilderness - und da gibt es sicher viele tolle Unterkünfte (Dune Beach House, Mes amis Guesthouse und andere), aber es wird keine Unterkunft geben, die so bezaubernd ist wie das Haus am Strand. Essen gehen unbedingt im Salinas Beach...

A beautifully decorated, luxurious apartment with views we could not get enough of. A very quiet location on the beach within walking distance from lovely resturants and shops.

Honestly there was nothing we didn't like.

Super Lage direkt am Strand, absolut ruhig, Supermarkt und Restaurants zu Fuß in 3 min erreichbar! Sehr sauber und gepflegt, toller Garten zum Meer👍viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten

Fantastic views of the sea and listening to the waves … Nick was very friendly and accommodating.

The beautiful beach was just outside the door and very quiet. Rita and the manager lent us their phone to make calls when we encountered difficulties with our rental car. The room was cozy and clean.

There was construction on the roadway right behind the house but we rarely heard it as we were typically on the beach side of the property.

Wir waren für 7 Nächte im Haus am Strand und haben es sehr genossen. Der Upgrad ins Gartenzimmer war eine tolle Überraschung! Der Empfang war sehr persönlich und informativ, das Personal sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war hell mit aussergewöhnlicher Sicht aufs Meer, in der Kochnische war alles Noetige vorhanden. Der Aufenthalt wird uns in bester Erinnerung bleiben.

Traumhafte Lage direkt am wunderschönen Strand. Wir erhielten ein Upgrade für das Beach Bungalow, welches wir sehr genossen. Nick ist ein sehr freundlicher, aufmerksamer Gastgeber, so dass es einem an nichts fehlt. Da das Zimmer nicht am selben Tag wieder benötigt wurde, durften wir sogar ein paar Stunden mehr an diesem schönen Ort geniessen. Bei unserer nächsten Südafrikareise werden wir gerne länger bleiben.

Die direkte Lage am Meer und die Liegewiese ist sensationell.

Absolut geniale Lage direkt am Strand! Der Garten mitsamt Liege Möglichkeiten ist toll angelegt. Handtücher für liegen standen zur Verfügung. Das Zimmer war sauber. Die Gastgeberin war sehr bemüht und hat uns mit zahlreichen Tipps versorgt. Unter anderem hat sie uns den Farmers Market am Samstag empfohlen, welcher wirklich super war. Außerdem hat sie uns eine Wanderung entlang der alten Bahngleise empfohlen, diese war ebenfalls ein Highlight. Die Lage ist sicher, man kann bedenkenlos auch im dunklen innerhalb ein paar Minuten in den Ort zu Restaurants laufen. Parkmöglichkeiten waren auch gegeben.

Ein Ventilator oder eine Klimaanlage haben im Zimmer gefehlt. Außerdem war das Zimmer relativ hellhörig.

Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll angelegt und eingerichtet. Die Lage ist einfach fantastisch! Wir hatten eigentlich das kleinste Zimmer gebucht und das Glück, dass wir ein Upgrade den Beach Bungalow bekommen haben. Es war einfach wunderschön 😊 Wir haben morgens aus dem Zimmer die Delfine im Meer gesehen. Rita und Nick waren super herzliche und freundliche Gastgeber. Sie haben uns gute Empfehlungen für die Umgebung gegeben. Wir würden die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen.

Ein wunderschönes Fleckchen Erde. Die Lage und die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer ist fantastisch. Perfekt zum runterkommen und entdecken der tollen Gegend rundum Wilderness. Danke an Rita und Nick für die Empfehlungen.

Absolutely amazing location. Watching dolphins from outside our room in the evening with a glass of champagne. Perfect.

Die Lage ist außergewöhnlich.Direkt am Meer. Die Betreiber sehr sehr nett. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt unbedingt ein grosses Zimmer buchen. Wir hatten das ganz kleine Zimmer. Für 2 Nächte völlig ausreichend aber nicht für länger.

Die Lage direkt am Strand

Strasse laut, recht anonym - kein Kontakt mit den Betreibern, Innendesign originell.

De unieke locatie met een mooie tuin en vlak bij het strand.

De kamer was wel heel klein. Maar we hadden last minute geboekt en hadden dan ook de minisuite.

Die verblyf is op die strand! Uitsig vanuit die kamer is pragtig! Alles is skoon en gerieflik. Ons het lekker gebly. En kan dit aanbeveel

Die parkering is n̈ bietjie van n̈ probleem - nie n̈ gemerkte parkering vir elke kamer nie - veroorsaak ongerief. Moeilik om personeel op selfoon in die hande te kry. Baie "goedjies" wat in die kamer rondstaan, beperk die spasie - maar dit kan maklik net in n̈ kas gebêre word - dis nie n̈ groot probleem nie.

Tolle Unterkunft direkt am Strand zum abschalten und Seele baumeln lassen, unweit zu vielen Restaurants.

Wände sind etwas hellhörig

This is an exceptional place. It's right on the seafront and the attention to detail is spot on-from the blankets for sitting outside on cooler evenings to the milk provided for coffee. Each room has a bed that looks out on the ocean and the ocean is a wonderful sight - I watched dolphins playing in the waves one afternoon for hours. I'd only booked for 2 nights but extended my stay the minute I arrived. The guy who runs it had great recommendations for things to do in the area and the staff were helpful and kind. I was upgraded for the first 3 nights so got to experience more that 1 of their beautiful rooms This was an exceptional place and I can't recommend it enough.

Le seul intérêt de cet établissement c’est qu’il est en bord de plage.

À mon arrivée il n’y avait personne pour m’accueillir. La réception et le personnel était absent tout mon séjour et ne répondait pas aux messages de plainte. La chambre était minuscule et le lit se trouvait face à une porte communicante donnant sur la télévision des voisins ! Ceux ci l’ont regardée jusqu’à 1 heure du matin ! Le gérant est juste passé en coup de vent pour récupérer le paiement. Il n’a pas voulu me changer de chambre, sauf avec un supplément de 50 pour-cent sur le prix initiale. Scandaleux sachant que de nombreuses chambres étaient disponibles.

Location, location and location. Our room looked over the beach and the beach was literally at the end of the premises garden. Max 3 mins walk from room to being on the beach ⛱️. What more do you need?

Top Lage für einen erholsamen Strandurlaub ! Nette Gastgeberin. Der direkte Blick auf Strand und Meer ist sensationell.

Rita ist eine sehr herzliche Gastgeberin. Die Lage der Unterkunft hätte besser nicht sein können. Wunderschöner Strand, der Zugang zu diesem einfach traumhaft. Geschäfte, Restaurant, Bars sind fußläufig erreichbar und trotzdem ist es in dieser Unterkunft sehr ruhig.

Die Unterkunft hat eine traumhafte Lage mit direktem Zugang zum Strand. Der Garten mit ausreichend Liegen und Sitzmöglichkeiten hat zum verweilen und genießen eingeladen. An einem Morgen haben wir Delphine vom Garten aus beobachte können. Das Zimmer war klein aber es war alles da was wir brauchten. Das Bett war bequem und hatte eine direkten Blick auf das Meer - wir konnten morgens mit offener Türe das Meer hören.

Die Ausstattung (Teppich, Sofa, etc.) der Zimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen - es hatte sein Charm weshalb es uns nicht weiter gestört hat.

Absolutely everything! The view from the room must be seen to be believed! Nick & Rita were so welcoming and just the perfect hosts. The room was superbly equipped with outstanding attention to every detail, the bed was huge and extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend this property and Wilderness itself to anyone visiting The Garden Route.

The view at sea from our bed.Direct access to the beach. Netflix! They allowed us to stay a bit longer to relax in the garden.

Not the cleanest. Floor, toilet and bed were fine though. If not for that we would have given a 10.

We loved our room walked out the door onto a most beautiful beach and everything was perfect from the host who greeted us to the proximity of all the restaurants and hikes it was such a perfect stay we will definitely be back.

Great location, direct beach access and walking distance to restaurants. Driving dustance to George, with the airport being about half an hour away. Danny the Manager, was oustanding! He was very helpful and friendly and had a great rapport with the staff. Often to be seen working with the gardener. Haus am Strand is in a great location, with onsite parking available on site.

The stay was perfect, we even got an upgrade on arrival which was really nice. The seaview is amazing and the accommodation also. Everything was super clean and the host is really nice. We would definitely come back!

Mostly our own breakfast, which we enjoyed at the table with a view over the terrace and the beach.

Everything was SUPER, there was nothing that we did not like.

This is an amazing hotel located right on the beach. The accommodation is very comfortable and the decor is really quirky. The beach location is stunning and we fell asleep every night to the sound of the waves with our patio doors open. Directly across the road is an excellent supermarket and a choice of about a dozen really good restaurants. Dany that runs the hotel is very friendly kind and helpful, surprising me with a chocolate cake for my birthday. Don’t hesitate…just book, you won’t be disappointed!

The only complaint we had was the fridge hadn't been on , so obviously had to wait for it to get cold no cold water.

The accommodation is set on an amazing beach near a good variety of restaurants. Good supermarket nearby for the purchase of breakfast supplies if that is your preference to start the day. The staff and management team were always on hand to offer advice regarding walks, visits and restaurants.Excellent parking on site. An easy stroll to good restaurants. The garden offers a good place to relax in the sunshine.

Exceptional location directly on the Beach. Property maintained excellently and the rooms are very generously sized. Gardens are beautifully maintained and offer various options for seating and relaxing. One of the best places we have stayed in South Africa - our highest recommendation!
