We had the best trip! The grounds are well kept and the service was amazing. Jai went above and beyond in his service making sure we were taken care of! Would highly recommended!
Our stay at the Loren was a clear four-star experience. We loved it, and will return. The pluses: Delicious food, including the chef's night five-course dinner with wine pairings, Chef Nick Elmi. A gorgeous room: large room, storage/bureaus/bedside/closet areas/bathroom with two sinks and the most sink counter experience I've ever experienced. A large, partly shaded terrace overlooking plantings and the Atlantic ocean; it had two lounge chairs, a long couch, and a cocktail table. We relaxed and napped here, and it was completely tranquil listening to the ocean. Lovely little pink sand beach, great for swimming. Two pools, one a small kiddy type pool, the other a not-so-large adult pool, but very nicely appointed. The staff at the Loren are so thoughtful and kind. When I complained about a noisy private event at the outdoor tented deck, the hotel manager, Juan, came down, helped my husband and I move our belongings to chairs farther away from the noise, and had the music turned down a bit. This is my only pet peeve at the Loren, the music at the event was very disruptive. At the pool deck, Jai and the other staff were swift in setting up your chairs, bringing (and refreshing) your water, and taking and delivering food orders. Minor quibbles: the gym is small and limited for a hotel at this price point. It was also a little hot in the gym. The wonderful hotel room bathroom lacked a good make-up mirror. The stand-alone mirror they had was large, but it did not have its own internal light. While I was on vacation at the hotel, my husband was there for two days of business out of the five days we were there. The Loren also served a delicious business dinner on a private terrace for our group. Really wonderful. And to cap it all off, when our hired car did not show up to take us to the airport, a staff member's cousin showed up in his taxi to take us there.
The loren was amazing! Food was great and the staff at the pool was incredible. Highly recommend!
We experienced a fantastic vacation staying at The Loren at Pink Beach. The hotel is a beautiful property in a wonderful location. The rooms are very clean and modern and the pool and beach area are well maintained and very inviting. Most importantly all the staff were wonderful! Everyone there could not be more friendly and welcoming. In particular, Brittany the concierge, was incredibly helpful and generous with her time. Not only did she assist us with various reservations but her knowledge of the area enabled her to offer much valuable advice that truly made a huge difference in ensuring that we could optimize our time on the island. We would not hesitate to go back.
Beautiful property in the most perfect location. The Loren is the bridge, properly introducing guests to thr gorgeous pink sand beach and turquoise blue waters.
The Property didn't have much availability and our stay was limited to one night.
The Loren is absolutely beautiful and I really want to love it. However, each time I go, it breaks my heart a little as it always fails to be an enjoyable experience because of something weird that just shouldn't be done and could be easily fixed. The first time was at the brunch. They came to our table once to take a drink order and never came back when those drinks were finished. Getting a waiters attention to order more was almost impossible for some reason so our table had one drink the entire brunch. If they do that for every table that's a lot of lost revenue. I was definitely ready to order more! This last time I went was for a birthday dinner at the Jazz night. The setting is great, the food came out fast and was good. The music was good and it was nice to see locals performing. However, they were playing so loud that I could barely hear the person right next to me and only if they screamed two inches from my ear. I could not talk without straining my voice. This is not an exaggeration. Someone at the table asked if it could be turned down a bit but I don't think the waiter could hear him ask because the music kept blaring (they might have turned it down half a decibel). I had to scream at the top of my lungs multiple times to get the attention of the waiter because the music was so loud. Also, in multiple instances, when the waiter came to the table he took an order for one drink from a single person (it was for a glass of water in one instance) and basically sprinted off without looking around to see that the other end of the table was trying to get his attention to order at the same time. They only had one poor bartender for all the tables and the bar so the drinks were super slow to come out. I may have it all wrong, but if they turned it down to a level that patrons can still chat to each other and be able to communicate with the waiter it would be a much better experience and I would actually make an effort to come back. If for some reason, the music needs to be loud enough to be heard in Dockyard, then the event should be held outside. It's an expensive way to have your hearing damaged. The best part of the night was our interaction with the door man. He was a young Bermudian and helped us out with directions. It was so nice to see a pleasant young Bermudian working in hospitality. He was very knowledgeable and polite and it was so refreshing to be able to communicate easily with a person who is fluent in English and knows the island.
We had such an incredible experience here. It was so serene and the beach and pool are unreal. Rented a cabana by the pool which was amazing and Jai was the greatest! He was 10/10!!!
My wife and I arrived at a nice table facing the ocean on a very nice evening. Then the waiter/s started rushing us. Sparkling water, ready to order, want a drink from the bar? All in 20 seconds. The waiter who seated us, never returned and the next guy was no better. How big is the lobster, how many oysters in the app order and what was the catch of the day. He went 2/3. Food was good but hard to overcome the poor service. 17% service charge automatically… It’s not about the experience, it’s about the turns. Too many better choices. I would avoid this place.
We had an amazing experience here! All staff had been truly wonderful. jai has been so nice for our poolside day, we had a few rainy days here and they are making our last Sunday wonderful. All staff in and out have been wonderful, we can’t wait to return
The beach and snorkeling: - Beautiful private beach with good food service, excellent offshore snorkeling around the big rock and along the reef just beyond it. This was a highlight for me. - Waves are too rough for kayaking or paddleboarding, I don't know why they even have those; Multiple people, including me, lost control of the kayak trying to launch it and needed to be 'rescued'. Room: - Beautiful room, with very spacious bathroom and a usable, fully furnished (a couch and chairs) and shaded balcony. Very quiet, we did not hear any noise from the hallway or neighbors. Comfy bed. Food: - All delicious, but the menus are limited. Service was mostly very good. A showstopper for me, though, is the eurotrash music piped into the dining room, with a thumping beat that fights with the sound of the waves. I cannot believe that anyone wants to hear this, and it made me not want to be in the dining room. - Concierge team: all friendly and helpful but we were provided with mis-information multiple times and our dinner reservations were not recorded. Be forewarned to double and triple check things. - Spa: lovely massages, but the sauna was not heated, even after I reminded them three times (twice via email, and once in person) that we planned to use it. If it were not for the music in the dining room, I would definitely return. It is pricey, but I have not found this level of beauty and offshore snorkeling anywhere else, and the 2-hour direct flight really makes a difference in being able to get there for a short stay. If you want peace and tranquility, I cannot recommend the Loren. If you don't care, I say book it!
Amazing trip. The Loren accommodations and service were perfect. Especially poolside where Jai and the team went above and beyond. Definitely coming back soon!
This is a wonderful place to stay. It has a nice intimate feel to it, not too big. Customer service is wonderful. The food and cocktails are excellent. Jai, our "butler" at the pool, took especially good care of us ! Thank you Jai!
We had a great stay at the Loren hotel. What really made our stay unforgettable was the exceptional service. A huge, special shout-out to Jai! He was so sweet, incredibly attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our entire stay. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to just relax and enjoy our time by the water.
Firstly, this hotel is beautiful. The rooms are gorgeous, spacious and the view is stunning. The beach is also lovely, and very quiet. The service at the pool is exceptional. That is where good service ends unfortunately. The restaurant was chaotic, service was sporadic and unfriendly. We often waited a long time for food. Bearing in mind a service charge of 20% is added to every bill. Ontop of this they include a charge for their "charity organisation". This charge, or charity, was not explained to us at check-in and is added to your nightly room charge, and every bill. This felt tacky and something you wouldn't see at the Rosewood for example. The menu doesn't charge in the restaurant and it was overly expensive for portion size/quality. We had an issue with credit card charges and they were dealt with pretty poorly by reception staff. Overall, definitely wouldn't return as the negatives outweigh the positives, especially for the price. Other than the service poolside, you would expect better from a 5 star hotel. Staying at the Rosewood after the Loren further showed the gap in quality of the Loren.
We have been visiting Bermuda for over 40 years as a couple and with our family- we have stayed at just about every 5 star hotel on island- this was our first stay at The Loren as we had stayed at the original Pink Beach Club for our honeymoon 30 years ago! Well it’s surely not the classic Bermuda resort with in-villa breakfast prep and pink buildings, but it has its own new identity and high end appeal for other reasons. It feels private and small and it’s casually elegant- every room has a spectacular oversized terrace or balcony, every one with the same amazing view of the Atlantic! The rooms are modern but cozy- my only criticisms would be no small carpet in our bathroom and carpet in main room had bad stains- the bathroom is beautiful and large but needs a better fan- and the XXL floor mirrors in the main room are too much and need to go- bed mattress and bed linens surely not of Four Seasons status but ok. Bed could use a heavier comforter. These are minor things as everything else- food, service, cleanliness, waterfront, valet staff, concierge, front desk, landscaping all FANTASTIC!! Special thank you to Lou at the front desk and Seth on valet! Also the young man who greeted me every morning at 8 AM to set our beach chairs-he was such a pleasure! We loved the resort overall and will be back for sure!!! It’s got a great relaxing vibe with high end service and accommodations sitting on the edge of the beautiful pink beach!
Thank you to Loren Hotel in Bermuda for a memorable stay for my son and me. Our room was clean and had a beautiful view. I felt safe and well cared for by your staff. The food was excellent. You provide a very clean, calm, and relaxing atmosphere. I love the beach and the rugged beauty of your property. We hope to see you again.
I stayed at The Loren at Pink Beach this past weekend, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed and valued. To my surprise, they upgraded me to a two‑bedroom suite, and it completely elevated my stay. The suite was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered stunning views that made every moment feel luxurious. The attention to detail throughout the property is unmatched — from the modern, elegant décor to the serene atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. The service was consistently warm, attentive, and genuine. Every interaction felt personal, and the team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The Loren strikes the ideal balance between luxury and comfort and I look forward to returning. Special thanks to the front desk manager Cherita and Dirk Beck, you guys were amazing! See you in the summer (fingers crossed)
We were only able to spend two nights at The Loren, but it was absolutely lovely. We adored the intimate boutique feel- modern, yet warm and cozy at the same time. The food, drinks, and service were all exceptional. We reserved a standard king oceanfront room, and it was perfect. One of my favorite moments was sitting on the spacious balcony each morning, reading The Royal Gazette while sipping an espresso and listening to the waves. Santana at the pool took incredible care of us. We never had an empty glass of water or cocktail, and he always greeted us with a smile. Jomar, Joe, and Shay were equally attentive and kind, always willing to go above and beyond to make our stay special. The beach truly is pink sand! Stunning in every way. Even with passing rain showers throughout the day, we embraced every moment and made it magical, even enjoying the sauna at the spa. We were also incredibly fortunate to experience a Grammy Award–winning pianist at the hotel all weekend. Sharu was simply extraordinary. Her music moved me to tears, it was that beautiful. From the freezing temperatures in New Jersey to this warm, dreamy escape, it was a magical weekend. We cannot wait to return.
I wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you for making my birthday weekend so incredibly special. From the room accommodations to the wonderful birthday gift left for me, the champagne was such a lovely surprise. My dinner went off flawlessly and everyone said they had a great time. I also realized some of my guests had never visited before, which made the experience even more memorable for them. Your staff was amazing throughout. Perry did a fantastic job at the bar, and my cake was absolutely delicious — it truly exceeded expectations. I don’t know how many times I can say thank you, but please know how much I appreciated everything.
We just returned from 7 nights at The Loren. Everything was so perfect. The staff, views, food and service were top notch. Big thanks to Myra for being the wonderful person she is. Loved it all.
Our family had a wonderful stay. Highlights included the room looking out over the sea, kids pool, beach, and delicious breakfast. Staff were all friendly and welcoming. Thank you!
the loren experience is unlike any other! the views are amazing and the staff are so helpful, kind and accommodating. stunning beaches, a calm atmosphere, and a great balance of quiet + activity. the rooms are spacious and clean, and it was so nice to just hang out on our balcony and enjoy the sun and view from there! yoga was also a highlight. we will absolutely be staying here again!
Fake luxury. This place is very poorly built with cheap fixtures and furnishings. Everything is banged up from poor quality. Furniture and bedding (headboards and sheets) are covered in stains, towel seams are torn, mildew smell throughout the buildings, fixtures aren’t even hung straight, cabinets don’t have soft close so they slam very loudly. Air con undersized for the units so it never fully cools to the temp it is set to, and the rooms are quite humid as a result. The painted over mold on the ceiling was easy to identify (photo attached). The most tacky and disappointing was the brazen overcharging and added charges that you have to request to be removed if you don’t want to voluntarily pay them- we found this horribly tactless. They automatically add a “donation” from you to their foundation to every bill for everything (the room, the restaurants, etc) and you have to specifically request for them to remove it. This does not sound like a legal practice, and even if it is we couldn’t believe how tacky it was. They add 7% of your room charge for tips to hotel staff!!! (we were fine with 17% for dining, that is standard). Paying over $1200/night should include or at least reasonably price minibar items, a single can of seltzer is $12. This hotel should be embarrassed by the obvious money-grab via all of the extra charges they tack on, St Regis and Rosewood would never.
This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in, and I travel around the world. From check-in to check out and all the experience in between was superb. Luis, the chef makes the best banana nut pancakes I’ve ever tasted as well as the filet mignon the rockfish and the hamburger is the best in the world. From Ajid, Jason, Edwin to Cheryl, Samuel, Kenny and Quay we were well taken care of during our seven night stay. We are looking forward to staying in their new hotel when we travel back to Bermuda in a year or two. Thank you everyone at the Loren for making our holiday getaway. A very memorable stay. Colleen and Sarah
The Loren at Pink Beach was a thoroughly delightful experience that exceeded all expectations with regards to facilities, accommodation and especially service. The staff was gracious, friendly, and professional and contributed greatly to our enjoyment, with special commendations to Leanté (Lee) at the front desk who went beyond the call of duty with restaurant recommendations, at check in and check out, and looking after every detail with a smile, and Victor at the Pink Beach Restaurant, whose service contributed as much to the enjoyment of meals as the food – he quietly assisted less experienced servers as well. We are returning to the Loren at the end of March and hope to make it a home ashy from home. Bobby and Ellen E
The Loren is an exquisite experience, from beautiful views to a wonderful staff and a dream dining experience from Chef Lawrence Godinho and staff! This place is a must see if you like the red carpet experience! Ask Chef Lawrence to do something special and enjoy the magic that he creates! Thank you to all the staff at The Loren for an unforgettable time in Bermuda!
This was our third time at the Loren. It was as good as ever. We are big beach people and it was great to see that most guest hung around the pool. We literally had the beach to ourselves for 3 days straight. Vlad and Centano.....dudes are amazingly attentive with the drinks and food. Li at the front desk, got us an incredible upgrade after a minor room malfunction.
I visited Bermuda with my whole family to celebrate my 40th birthday. We stayed at the Loren, and we were extremely impressed!! It was beautiful and everyone was so lovely and accommodating. Shane, Maryann, Maureen, Jason, and Jomar (just to name a few) were part of the amazing staff that helped make our stay so special. My kids are 9 and 7 years old, and they were so attentive and gracious with them for the entire stay. We would absolutely come back and stay at the Loren, next time we visit Bermuda!
We spent five wonderful days at The Loren at Pink Beach with our family, including our newborn, and it was truly an ideal place for a relaxing getaway. The hotel has a calm, luxurious vibe, stunning ocean views, and a very family-friendly atmosphere. We stayed in a Two-Bedroom Suite, which was spacious, bright, and beautifully designed — perfect for families. There was plenty of room for everyone, including space for the baby crib and stroller. Check-in was fast and very friendly — the front desk staff made us feel welcome right away. A special mention goes to the poolside service, which was absolutely excellent. Our server, Volodimyr, made our stay unforgettable. He always brought food and drinks quickly and with a smile. On the day when the ocean had big waves, he thoughtfully offered life jackets and boogie boards for our kids. The kids had so much fun, and we as parents felt completely at peace knowing they were safe. That kind of personal attention and care really made our stay special. The only downside: there’s just one restaurant on site, and the menu stayed the same throughout our five-day stay. While the food was good, it became a bit repetitive — for example, there was only one soup option and no daily specials from the chef. Some variety would make the dining experience even better. Overall, The Loren is a beautiful and serene hotel — perfect for families with children and even newborns. If you’re looking for a peaceful, luxurious, and family-oriented stay in Bermuda, this is definitely a great choice!
My wife and I spent a long weekend at the Loren and it has been fantastic. The staff has been excellent. There is one staff member (Ron) that has stood out above the others. He helped us poolside and was very attentive. One evening my wife arranged a private dinner on the beach and Ron was the person that set it up with tiki torches and the lovely table. He served us our food and wine and truly made the experience special. He was friendly, efficient, and extremely professional. Thank you Ron.
Overall ours stayed is wonderful highly recommended, we’ll stays again
The Loren was LOVELY. We had such an enjoyable time and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bermuda. We are repeat guests and have seen some really great improvements over the years. The food was fantastic at Maree and the staff all very friendly and pleasant. Our room was HUGE and the en-suite bathroom was beautiful with double vanity, soaking tub and walk in shower. Thanks for what was a very happy, relaxing and memorable stay.
Very nice good service and great rooms… a very nice resort that I’d well maintained and staffed. A couple of issues but overall it was good. 1. Checked us in but did not ask for a credit card … then was calling for me all afternoon… 2. The bell hop,… reaked of pot / marijuana … very noticeable. Perhaps it’s legal on the island but it was a strong scent. 3. The A/c unit stopped working … but they fixed it immediately. Great pool deck and beach area… separate area for kids which was great.
We had the pleasure of being served by Jomar at The Pink Beach Club at The Loren Hotel, and he was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we sat down, he was warm, personable, and attentive. He took the time to ask about our kids and our meal preferences, making us feel genuinely welcomed. What impressed us most was how carefully he handled allergies—he made sure everything was prepared to the highest standard and gave us complete peace of mind. Throughout the meal, his friendliness and professionalism shone through. Jomar truly elevated our dining experience, and we are so grateful for his thoughtful service.
Stayed at the beginning of August, left another 5-star property as was not happy and moved to this hotel, had no expectations. Happy I did as it was beyond my expectation. Room was beautiful and clean. Hotel has a beautiful view when you enter, Food was very good at the Pink Beach. Joe was absolute star. Pool Staff Vlad was amazing. The best part of this trip is Michelle who made us feel that we were her only guest in this hotel. She was everywhere, said hello during breakfast, approached me by the pool to ensure my dinner reservations are confirmed, was at the driveway to bid me goodbye. She ensured to assist us in every possible way. We travel everywhere and we never got this in the 5-star hotel I stayed in and yes we paid more money but her personalized service and her sincere approach to service will make me return to Bermuda and only at The Loren Hotel from now on.
The Loren in Bermuda is everything a true luxury hotel should be. The property is beautifully maintained, with every detail reflecting care and quality. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious, and the setting itself is stunning — every corner of the property feels like a picture-perfect escape. This was exactly the level of service, comfort, and elegance you’d expect from a five-star hotel. We will absolutely be staying at The Loren again. A flawless experience from start to finish.
The Loren at Pink Beach was an exceptional hotel with exceptionally gracious and professional staff that cared for my family as they would have done their own. We visit Bermuda often, and we can say without doubt that this visit was one of the best, largely because of our stay at The Loren. A strong recommendation for all!
The Loren is definitely a premium luxury hotel. We chose it because it looked to be the only hotel in Bermuda comparable to a Four Seasons. The hotel was ultra clean which is probably our top priority. Housekeeping came twice a day for cleaning and turndown service. The restaurant Pink Beach Club was one of the best we ate at during our 5 night stay in Bermuda. The hotel location is ideal, towards the middle of the island on the south shore facing towards the caribbean. There is a very clean private beach where you can order food and drinks. The concierge team was very helpful and the concierge manager Michelle was extremely helpful, attentative and a luxury hospitality expert. The hotel provides a lot of complimentary items and services with personal touches, which I won’t spoil for future guests. Overall the hotel is very impressive, customer service was excellent and I would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a true luxury experience in Bermuda.
My wife and I had a wonderful stay. Superb service and accommodations. Vlad at the pool is one of the finest employees I have had the pleasure of interacting with. He loves his guests and treats them royally. He made each day an absolute pleasure and should be commended. He is simply the best!!!
When you want to Experience something Magical, it's right here. Having planned a whimsical 45th Birthday that just took place, to say it was delightfully dreamy, would be an understatement. Curating with Dirk is always a dream & collaborating ideas w/ Chef Jordan was inspired. The Staff Day of my event also graciously assisted whether the lovely ladies @ Front Desk, or amazing Gabby who was kindly attentive to us the whole night through. If you want to immerse yourself somewhere beautifully unforgettable... Find your way to The Loren Hotel!
My extended family and I stayed in the residence at the Loren in June 2025. We had the most incredible experience. The house itself is amazing! We slept 18 people on the property comfortably. There were also several large living spaces and the kitchen was beautiful. The kids spent the entire vacation either in the private pool or exploring the private beach. But honestly the best part of the experience was the staff. Nanni and Nathaniel were truly the most exceptional hospitality employees that we have ever encountered. They helped to arrange everything- dinner reservations, ride services, moped rentals- you name it, they do it. The kids wanted lemonade- they made fresh squeezed lemonade. They work exceptionally hard to give you the best vacation experience possible. It was a once in a lifetime vacation.
Paid for the Pool Villa. They don’t service the pool area other than vacuuming the pool once a weeks. No waters or towels or cleanup, nothing. No attendant to come check on you see if you’re happy or need anything. The Villa AC in the dining -kitchen-living never worked properly entire trip. It was approximately 80 degrees the entire time. Thankfully the bedroom AC worked great. Staff refused to walk room service up the stairs to the villa leaving anything ordered in the entry downstairs. I didn’t pay this much to have to deliver my own room service. It wasn’t a cheap villa either at several thousand dollars per night! Hotel sells out & monetizes the one air conditioned lounge, the Maree Lounge not 1 night but 2 nights of our 6 night stay. This is unacceptable as it’s part of the experience and the only other place to have a drink INSIDE to relax from the heat. So if you’re doing dinner at Pink Beach Club and you wanna grab a drink before dinner OR AFTER DINNER the only place was the Maree Lounge. Making that unavailable is the same as stealing money from every guest in my opinion. WORST OF ALL: The resort does NOT tell you, but slyly adds a 2% fee to every food and beverage orders in the restaurants AND TO THE ROOMS! This is for a climate based “cause” called ROOTS they say they donate to. I think it’s a huge slush fund and it’s being operated that way since it an OPT-OUT only if you catch it and complain, otherwise it’s OPT-IN all the time everything. Total insanity! When people are on vacation they don’t think the resort is out to rip you off by nickeling and dimeing you for their so-called “cause”. Hey, I didn’t book the resort or the most expensive villa to donate to your charity, and then you just steal money? FROM EVERY SINGLE GUEST? There’s not a mention of ROOTS anywhere in the room or on any literature - just a little fee added to every thing you do. SHAMEFUL & basically outright theft! I would never recommend any Loren property as they’re egregiously scamming you and provide no value for what you are paying.
By far a great experience! Beautiful grounds, fabulous food and accommodations. The best part wast the service we experienced at the pool by Vlad! The most amazing person, server, ambassador of your hotel. This man should be the poster of what service and friendly demeanor looks like! He should manage the hotel with that attitude!!!!
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at The Loren this past week. This was our first time to Bermuda and between the island and the hotel, everything exceeded our expectations. Thank you to the Loren staff for making our trip so memorable. Specifically, I wanted to point out Michelle "Sky" for going above and beyond. She is truly a great representative of your hotel. I would be remiss if I did not mention both Ron and Vlad, attendants at the pool. They were both terrific and great at their jobs. Also, the food was excellent. And beautiful views from the room and all over the resort! Although we don't have any immediate plans of returning, we will definitely be back at some point!
Wonderful staff. Great views. Lovely beach. Good food
Very noisy rooms you could hear your neighbour lots of events every evening that again was quite intrusive to peaceful sundowns Breakfast not included which was an additional cost
Just back from our 5 night stay at the Loren at Pink Beach. It was amazing in every way, and I say that as someone who has vacationed at some impressive properties over the years. From the moment you arrive, you are treated as a VIP by the staff. In fact, leading up to our arrival, Michelle (who is an absolute queen!!) handled every detail of our stay so that when we showed up the itinerary was perfect. When we needed to adjust a time or location, she handled everything with a smile and also gave us recommendations that were spot-on. She also paired us with Leroy as our private driver for the length of our stay, and he was fantastic. He kept us on-time and was a great story teller and full of interesting facts about the island. He also showed up after excursions with towels and cold cloths to refresh us, as well as bottles of water. The property itself feels very private and secluded and was never even close to what I would describe as "crowded" or full. There was always space at the beach of the pools. Drink service was prompt and the drinks were on the strong side, which was appreciated, lol. Even on a day or two when there was a good sized wedding going on, you just never felt like service was impacted or that there was a lot of people gathered around. The beach is not large but there is plenty of room for sun bathing, lounge chairs with towels and tables and umbrellas are more than sufficient, and the water is amazing. Calm and easy for snorkeling or paddle boarding, both of which equipment is provided by the Loren. The gym is very nice, with a couple treadmills and a few machines, etc. It has a view out to the pool and beyond to the ocean. We did a fishing excursion with Hakuna Matata charters and Captain Scott and first mate AJ were excellent. They put us on yellow fin tuna and man did we catch a bunch. The last one caught was enormous and took everything my son and I had to land it. They let us stay out an extra hour or so as well. The boat was squeaky clean and well maintained. Drinks provided were abundant. Highly recommend these guys for your fishing charter. We also did a jet ski tour which was so much fun! Michelle coordinated this as well through the Loren. Our tour guide, Naj, was a blast. Took us to many neat sites and we even met a Husky named Gilbert who hangs out in the shallow water of a cove below his owner's house! The jet skis were fast and reliable. The tour lasted two hours and we really got our money's worth. Highly recommend the Intrepid restaurant for a high-end dinner. Ask for Marilyn to be your server, as her level of service was great. The food selections and quality were top-notch and the ambience is very nice. I could go on and on about all the "little things" the Loren did for us but this review would become a book not a chapter. Suffice to say you won't regret staying there, even if you are a very discerning customer.
This was our second time staying at the beautiful Loren (see my review from 2024), our 5th visit to Bermuda overall. The first time in August was absolutely amazing but incredibly the lovely people of the Loren made this even more unforgettable for my husband, two grown daughters and I. Quay and Laticia went above and beyond to make this a truly magical and memorable stay for our family. We truly can't thank them enough for the kindness they showed us as they gave us the best vacation ever. Truly mind-blowing! What set the Loren apart from other hotels is truly the people. We were so pleasantly surprised to see the same faces there this time as well. Jeronna still brought us room service breakfast on our balcony (highly recommend!) each morning; she is especially kind, sweet and always has the order right and timely. It was a special gift to see her again. Santano was once again very attentive to us on the beach bringing us ice water throughout the day as well as delicious cocktails and lunch (love the fish tacos!). We ate at the wonderful Pink Beach Club two of our 4 nights there. One night they offered a Korean themed multi-course dinner which was delicious and something we had never had before. I was overjoyed to see Ajit from last year and we laughed about the last time when the rain came down in buckets during dinner as he brought umbrellas for us (he actually really remembered because he recalled exactly where we had been sitting!). He was lovely as always and took exceptional care of us even adding a dessert surprise for us. Victor also came by both nights to say "Hi" after he took care of us in Maree the first night while having dessert and drinks. Housekeeping did an amazing job cleaning the rooms as well as providing nightly water and yummy chocolates. Everyone we met was very friendly especially Marsha who wished us a "Bermudaful day!" Something new on the island is the Hitch app which is like Uber with taxis. It worked well once you're on the island and something to keep in mind. As I said, the people at the Loren really make the place memorable (as does the beautiful setting and hotel itself) and on our last day my only regret was that I hadn't seen my favorite taxi driver Danielle. Lo and behold the taxi to take us to the airport came and she was the driver! She has the cleanest, nicest taxi you will find and she is the warmest, kindest most knowledgeable driver - to ride with her is a gift! Request her from the hotel if you can! Our amazing trip was now complete. We have stayed at other wonderful hotels on the island but now we have found our "home" with these lovely people in the beautiful setting of the Loren. We truly can't wait to come back!
We have stayed at The Loren several times throughout the years and are always overjoyed. The entire staff is friendly, helpful & courteous . They go above and beyond to ensure your time is Bermuda is memorable. A special shout out to the pool staff - especially Ron. Ron has a personality that can make anyone feel special. His attention to detail and his anticipation of our needs always enhances our time at The Loren. We are so grateful to the entire staff - for yet again another magical vacation in Bermuda. By far the best place to stay on The Rock! Thank you all so very much!
Our stay at The Loren was amazing from the views, amenities, and very accommodating staff. Speaking of accommodating staff, our server by the pool, Ron, was second to none. Hats off to their entire crew and we will certainly be coming back again.
I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service my family and I received during our recent stay at The Loren at Pink Beach from April 27th through May 1st. My wife and I travelled with our 2-year-old son to celebrate a soon to be addition to our family this November. From the moment we arrived, the staff exceeded our expectations in every way. The front desk team provided a warm welcome and seamless check-in process. The attention to detail throughout our stay was remarkable. Our room was immaculately maintained by the housekeeping staff. I must specifically commend the concierge, whose assistance went above and beyond. When we mentioned that we're finding out the gender of our 2nd child due to be born in November, she immediately made us feel that we would have a memorable experience. While we were out for the day, she and her team arranged balloons and a thoughtful note that let us know we would be expecting a baby girl! What took it over the top was an extremely kind gift to our 2-year-old son. The staff gave him 2 children's books about Bermuda and about having a sister. This gesture made our celebration truly special. The restaurant staff also deserves recognition for their attentive service and culinary excellence. The staff was extremely attentive and to our toddler son, which allowed Mom and Dad to enjoy the breathtaking views in relative peace. Each meal was not only delicious but presented with pride and care. What sets the hotel apart is how every team member we encountered seemed genuinely invested in ensuring our comfort and satisfaction. This level of personalized care is increasingly rare in the hospitality industry and has certainly earned our loyalty.
We had a wonderful room with a magnificent view. Their beach was breathtaking. We had visited Horseshoe Bay Beach but, decided The Loren's beach to be far superior. There were Parrotfish swimming about that you can get quite close to. The pool area has a bar with refreshing drinks.
First off, the rooms at The Loren are large, beautifully appointed, and the bathrooms spacious and well lit. The ocean views from the 2nd floor rooms are as good as promised - we stayed in the main building and the waves crashing on the beach were literally 20 feet away. The main cocktail bar is a bit of a disappointment; it felt like it was an afterthought by the architect. It's tucked away in a corner on a floor below reception and above the restaurant. Sadly, it's not an inviting location to have a drink. The front desk crew are pleasant and willing to help but they seemed ill trained and uncertain as to what to do when we asked for assistance with a couple of issues. One simple task that never made it to the right person - despite being written down and passed along - was booking a taxi for our trip to the airport the next day. We had learned to double check on requests run thru the front desk... and sure enough the bellman was never informed of our "confirmed" request for a taxi. Note - we stayed in room 203, in the main building. The penthouse is above this and the other rooms on the floor. There was a family with young children staying there for our last 2 nights, and every morning, afternoon, and early evening it sounded like a herd of elephants had been set free. If you get assigned a 2nd floor suite in this section make sure to inquire about who, if anyone, is staying in the penthouse. Please, no kids.
Beautiful property, delicious food.
The best hotel staff, they were so attentive, and we were so well taken care of and wanted for nothing! We were celebrating three family birthdays and stayed in one of their incredible villa suites with our own pool. It was worth everything! We were in an oasis within an oasis! Michelle from guest experiences made sure that between her and her coworkers every detail was perfectly planned out and truly made this such a special, memorable experience for us!
Beautiful modern resort. Fabulous room and excellent service
This is a beautiful contemporary property on a stunning bit of the Bermuda coast. The staff team here make the stay- polite, friendly, impeccably professional and personable. The rooms are well designed, spacious and spotlessly clean. We loved the restaurant here. The variety and quality of the dishes is of the highest level, served with pride and an obvious passion for excellence. Bermuda is not cheap, but you definitely get value for money at this 5star establishment.
My husband and I are enjoying the penultimate day of our 2 week stay here at The Loren and it has been a truly 5* experience. ALL the staff here genuinely care about their guests and take personal responsibility, going out of their way to provide an individual experience. The location of the hotel is superb. The photos don’t lie when it comes to the rooms … They are exceptionally well designed, with a beautiful, contemporary style and an excellent housekeeping service. The layout of the hotel is well thought through. More importantly, the ambience is a wonderful enabler of easy relaxation. The pool area is very well run and the therapists at the spa are first class. The restaurant is the jewel in the crown with a very well led, talented, international team of chefs and servers. Bermuda has many good restaurants but the variety and quality at the Loren is hard to beat.
Lovely property for relaxing. Not close to things so have to rely on buses (easy but slow) or taxis (expensive and still slow) to get to sightseeing. If you don’t need the sights and are just coming for beach, it’s perfect.
Great property and friendly staff
Gorgeous and peaceful. If you’re looking for a place to detox, Loren at Pink Beach is right for you. If you’re looking for nightlife or accessibility, there are likely better choices. The setting is stunning., with a small private beach. The sand is not so pink but is powdery perfection. Rooms are large, spotless and well appointed. We were on the first floor and the patio was large. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Restaurant on site is ok and overpriced for portion sizes. Since you can’t rent a car, you need to use the buses or taxis. It does take a large amount of time to go even a few miles and taxis are not cheap. So if you want pampering, beach, no sightseeing, Loren is a great choice.
Can't get any closer to the beach than this! What a marvelous setting! A luxurious resort nestled into the side of the hill, smack dab next to the ocean. Incredible views and a pink sand beach as well! We were two families, 6 people in all, and we all loved The Loren. The rooms are fabulous, the staff is there to assist without even having to ask, and the food was amazing. The staff seemed to predict our needs! We can't wait to go back!
1st trip to Bermuda. I worked as a hotel rep for high-end resorts while I was in college. I had to have an encyclopedic and first-hand knowledge about those few O&O properties . So I figured ‘let’s find out’ about Bermuda. For the record, it’s in the Atlantic Ocean, several hundred miles east of NC. It’s not in the Caribbean. It’s not 80 degrees year round. All that said…the hotel and its rooms are stunning. The staff are: professional, friendly, indulgent, intelligent, kind, knowledgeable, accommodating. The restaurant is extraordinary except for the snapper which ain’t what I’m used to (boo). Other than that ingredient miss, chef Godinho is extremely gifted. And dayum, Bar master “Trouble” (Johnathon) has invented an absolutely diabolical drink called Key something. We were a shipwreck when we arrived. We left restored. That poor staff had to put up with us til we calmed TF down on day 3! Notes: the island isn’t walkable, skip swizzle, skip the Dockyards, St George’s is worth the trip if only for Wahoo’s fish sangwich (that’s how I heard it pronounced), taxis all charge different rates, buy a digicel SIM card to save $ on your phone, face-it-you’re-going-to-spend-$250/night-for-dinner-for-two-anywhere, prolly KFC even. I’m going to miss your sunny smile Mary Ann
It was such an amazing experience for our first time in Bermuda. The Loren Hotel and their staff were so accommodating (Kara and Michelle) as you check-in and throughout our stay making reservations for restaurants and rides throughout Bermuda. The restaurant and the food were so yummy and the executive chef Laurence came out and personally introduced himself while he spoke about his menu. I would highly recommend this place hands down. The view was breath taking and so peaceful. Lastly, we ended our stay with a relaxing spa treatment to complete our incredible stay.
The hotel is stunning and the food and hospitality was exceptional. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout my visit, every detail made my experience truly enjoyable. The rooms are modern, clean, up to date and very luxurious! The dedication of the hotel staff—from the Beach Club to the Dining Manager and everyone in between—did not go unnoticed. Their commitment to guest satisfaction made me feel genuinely welcomed throughout my stay.
First and foremost -the view. Arrived the night of the full moon and the view across the sea was breathtaking. Slept with the doors open to hear the fresh of the waves. Bed linens and pillows all of the highest quality. Very quiet in this off season which is exactly what I wanted. Extremely responsive management team which is invested in the highest level of service. Facial in the spa was delightful and appropriately priced for the service. Spa is small very focused on the treatment selected. Highly recommend for solo traveler needing to rest and recharge. Will be back
The Lone Star is the best cocktail of its kind that I have ever had including those from Texas. lol. The ambience at the resort is really so cool and uplifting. I was there for the Omakse event, which was outstanding. A full house was there to savor the 10 course menu and both the food and the service were exceptional. The Loren is an excellent resort to unwind at and rejuvenate your spirit .
Wonderful location and beautiful beach. Lovely room with balcony
Given that there are no other places close to the hotel where you can buy food , the hotel restaurant should have more choices of food.
Pleasant place
A very nice hotel. Big, beautiful rooms with ocean views and balconies. Great service!!!
Loved our time at this chic and comfortable hotel. We were fortunate to stay in a spacious suite which had wonderful beds and was perfect for our family. The beach really is pink and the pool area has a gorgeous view of the water. Restaurant food is all very nice and hotel staff very helpful with organizing off property reservations and activities. There were several weddings during our stay and we enjoyed the energy around the events.
Love the private location, room size and ocean view from the room wonderful staff luxury resort
Absolutely amazing. They up graded me for my birthday!
I don’t often leave reviews—perhaps because life gets too busy—but I’m making the time now because The Loren deserves it. This hotel is a true vacation pearl among hotels. Not only was this our first visit to Bermuda, which we absolutely loved—an island that is sophisticated, artsy, and home to beautiful people who are kind, educated, and welcoming—but The Loren itself was simply exceptional. From its stunning architecture to its carefully curated art, every detail of the hotel feels thoughtfully designed. The delicious food, the private beach, and, most importantly, the personal attention from every single staff member made our stay unforgettable. Whether it was the bartender, the manager, the cleaning lady, or the receptionist, every interaction was warm, professional, and attentive. We’ll definitely be back—and it’s only a two-hour flight from NJ! Whether you’re looking for a family getaway, a romantic escape with your partner, or a quiet retreat to work, think, or enjoy a good book, The Loren is the perfect place. Highly recommend!
The hotel was located in the most idyllic spot - right on the most beautiful pink beach. From our suite we could hear the waves crashing onto the shoreline which was the most wonderful sound any time of day but especially in the morning. The food in the Maree restaurant was delicious and inspired. If you ordered an omelette for breakfast it was moist and freshly made, fruit was always the freshest. The dinner menu was well thought out and there was something for all tastes. The cocktails were inventive and delicious and it would be easy to over-indulge! The hotel offers one-off art classes as an experience which we did as part of my birthday celebration, it was very enjoyable and we were provided with a bottle of Prosecco and canapés too. All of the hotel staff were extremely courteous by nature and very well trained. We got to know many by name and they couldn’t do enough for us! Thanks so much to Vlad at the pool, Shirl our Maid, Gabriel, Zhou and Marianne in the restaurant, Perry in the bar, Chey the Concierge and Michelle, one of the Managers, for all making us feel so welcome - we’ll be back!
The only minor fault was the beach sunbeds - they could do with an upgrade.
A boutique feel hotel with great view and easy access to a private pretty beach.
Most beautiful and great ocean view i ever seen.
Nice property. Beautiful beach
Property is stunning. Chey was fantastic with making arrangements pre-arrival and during our stay.
Our vacation was extremely relaxing and beautiful
The island is home to just 63,000 people, all embracing life with a calm and positive attitude. Wherever they go, they greet outsiders with warm smiles and kindness. The service is always customer-focused, attentive, and welcoming. With a direct flight from New York to here taking just 1 hour and 45 minutes, it's an ideal destination for a short getaway
We were lucky enough to visit in early August, just before the hurricane. The Loren is beautifully located with the most extraordinary view (and sound) of the Atlantic Ocean. It's the most photogenic location with the best view of any restaurant on the island: the loudest sound being the waves. We hired bicycles and rode along the disused Bermuda railway which is stunning and everyone at the hotel was kind, helpful and knowledgeable. The celebrity chefs visiting for special meals were a particular delight and we very much hope to return.
Great stay
The view is gorgeous. Restaurant is very expensive and service is slow after you are served. Pool service is also a bit slow.
Taxi service even when we called ahead was slow. Couldn’t get a water bottle from The front desk at $1275 a night. The hotel is far from Hamilton so plan to spend $50-$100 per day to leave the resort for activities.
Completely loved our trip! Beautiful place and people - most restful vacation ever !
Everything about this property was beautiful. Staff were extremely friendly, facilities outstanding, food delicious and location was amazingly beautiful! Worth the price!!
Incredible views awesome staff. The facility was immaculate
Nothing
This is one of the most outstanding resorts I have ever stayed in. The staff m, the food, the location were amazing. I would definitely go back.
Nothing.
Very expensive food $13 for orange juice glass for breakfast, beautiful location on beach
Beautiful on the water. Needed to taxi to attractions but easy to find.
Food was great, great vegan/vegetarian/gluten free options.
One thing I think could be improved was the toilet paper. I would recommend a higher quality toliet paper.
Beautiful hotel.
Love this place!
For the cost of the hotel, I would have expected much more. The dining menus were pretty limited, service was very hit or miss and there was a general lack of efficiency. You felt like it was the off season B team. No hot tub and pools were not heated. Just not what I would call a luxurious experience, compared to similar hotels of its price and standard.
Beautiful facility and wonderful staff! The restaurant is somewhat over priced in my opinion but otherwise great place for relaxation and intimacy
