Everything was as expected; no extra parking charges or breakfast costs. The location was good for an extended stay. There were lots of places to eat within an easy drive, but the hotel wasn't in the middle of a busy area. Breakfast and coffee were very good.

The room needed some minor cosmetic touchups, but was overall very clean. The AC worked great in the room and had no lingering smells.

Nice daily selection for breakfast, comfortable seating areas by the front desk and the option to eat in at the bar is a plus.

When checking out I asking for a printed receipt for my stay. This has never been a problem since I have stayed at this location multiple times. For whatever reason this time the lady at the front desk during checkout was reluctant to simply print one out. She told me since I booked through booking.com everything is handled by them including receipts. I told her that I made the reservation at booking.com but paid atcheck in as well as for any extras such as water or candy while on site during my stay. My money went to the hotel not to booking.com and whatever is allocated to them is between them and the hotel. It should be transparent to the guest. She finally printed out a one page receipt. That was very much a turn off.

The lighting in the room could Do be brighter or another lamp for more light. Get rid of all the plastic for the breakfast in the morning. There was 3 crew and they all stood in the back. One could easily was the dishes.

This hotel met all of our needs...indoor pool, daily breakfast, and preferred room option. The staff is always personable and knowledgeable. I LOVE the spray they use throughout the hotel, makes it more homey and the scent just invites you in. The hotel is conveniently located to many places to shop, eat, and have fun.

The only thing I could say is the sausage patties were really overcooked and rubbery. Everything else was great!

I’m currently staying at Hyatt House RDU, and I wanted to recognize Brandon for making such a great first impression. From the moment I arrived, he was incredibly welcoming, professional, and helpful. I asked about room availability and upgrade options, and he took the time to look into everything for me without making me feel rushed. I was more than willing to wait for my room to become available, and Brandon ultimately surprised me with an amazing complimentary room upgrade. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a wonderful way to start my vacation. While I’m still early in my stay, I can definitely say that Brandon’s customer service made my check-in experience memorable. He made me feel genuinely welcomed and valued as a guest. Breakfast was great. Staff friendly, First room smelled like a dog. Sofa stained and worn, ac not working! Staff nicely moved me to the next room sofa still worn stained. Bathroom door was a pocket door hard to open and close.

Condition of rooms could be better. Need paint new carpet and living room furniture. Please have NON animal rooms.

First time stay Very comfortable and well appointed room in a very convenient location to restaurants. There were two breakfast options which was a nice surprise.

I can’t say enough great things about Sandra at the Hyatt House! From the moment I sat down at the bar, she made the entire experience feel welcoming and enjoyable. She made me an absolutely fantastic Old Fashioned—easily one of the best I’ve had—but what really made the night memorable was the conversation. Sandra is one of those people who genuinely enjoys talking with her guests and makes you feel like you’ve known her for years. She’s warm, funny, personable, and incredibly easy to talk to. We had such a great conversation that I ended up enjoying my time at the bar far more than I ever expected. Great hospitality isn’t just about making a good drink or providing good service—it’s about making people feel welcome, and Sandra absolutely does that. She brings personality and genuine hospitality to the Hyatt House bar and is a huge asset to the hotel. If you’re staying at the Hyatt House, do yourself a favor and stop by the bar. Order an Old Fashioned, pull up a seat, and have a conversation with Sandra. You won’t regret it. Amazing drink, wonderful conversation, and an all-around great experience. Needed an overnight hotel next to RDU and the Hyatt House looked good online. Upon arrival, the hotel exceeded my expectations in cleanliness and useful design of the room (kitchenette, living area, bedroom and bath) Morning buffet was above average and coffee was delicious. The lobby area was comfortable and convenient for breakfast. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and would stay at another Hyatt House again without reservation.

Went for a mini romantic getaway. Had a great time. Tikara was very nice and helpful!

Sanda the bartender was excellent. She was attentive, personable, and quick witted.

Entire third floor smells strongly of urine. Room 315 smelled even worse and had string chemical smell. Toilet wouldn’t flush without removing the tank lid and jiggling the float. First floor is clean and staff was welcoming…once you exit the elevator on your floor though it’s an entirely different experience.

Great experience overall. Hyatt House always delivers and sets a high bar. I've come to expect nothing less than excellent service, offerings, breakfast, amenities, cleanliness, and facilities.

Simple amenities like hooks in bathroom and tea in the room is important to me. Room Location very near the elevator and the housekeeping closet was initially a concern but there was no noise.

Luggage rack in lobby a bit jars to maneuver. Fridge with freezer section is preferred.

The esthetics were marvelous. The property was nice and clean, the breakfast was great. Everything we needed was accessible.

My room had big mold spots in the ceiling causing my allergies to flare up.

The front desk staff made us feel immediately welcome. Throughout our entire stay everyone was very helpful and friendly. Check-in and check out were effortless and seamless. BRANDON at the front desk was very knowledgeable and answered many questions patiently. One evening, I met a woman on the elevator. She was making sure that everyone got safely to their floor or back down to the lobby, while maintenance was being performed. Later I found out her name was LAURIN, and that she was an administrator at the hotel, very pleasant, and helpful as I spoke with her about some concerns with the television. The room was well designed, open, airy, had a very homie feeling, a home away from home. I was very pleased with the spaciousness of the room, beautiful bathroom and the kitchenette gave it such warmth. Each morning I looked forward to the buffet breakfast, omelette station was top tier, and the variety of items offered were extensive, something for everyone. I am looking forward to my next visit at this establishment.

Great stay. Our flight was cancelled, and Hyatt House RDU was able to give us a great room. The free shuttle was there in minutes. Brandon, from the front desk, looked after us and made our stay really lovely. The experience turned an annoying flight cancellation into an extension of our trip.

Property was in a great location, close to anything you need. Staff were all great and super helpful!, the rooms were very nice and super clean. Breakfast - 10/10! We come to Raleigh every year and have stayed in a few areas, this is definitely on our top 3 now! We will be back.

The first room I received had dirty towels on the floor. I had to be relocated to another room.

Very noisy hotel. People slamming doors and the sounds resonate into your room. If you have a maintenance issue, you are questioned and nothing gets done about it. The weekend woman at the front desk is horrible to work with, she is very disgenuous. The rooms are old and require maintenace. Use shower shoes for your protection. Shower heads and kitchen faucets are old and worn down. Not for a long stay hotel. The appliances are stainless so everything sticks to the pans and you have use a steel brush to clean up. This is a weekend party hotel because its by the airport. People tear it up the night before and the leave. Again, the main issues are maintenance and no attention to fixing them.

Very nice hotel and the staff was great. My only complaint was my room smelled like sewage the last night. I didn’t say anything to the front desk because I was leaving in the morning.

The high vents. The air runs a lot and creates a drafty feeling as my vents at home are on the floor but no real big deal. There were also a few ants.

Disappointing experience during a business stay. I was required to change rooms after bugs were found in my bed, resulting in personal property being lost during the room transfer. Although the issue was later identified as carpet beetles rather than bed bugs, the disruption, stress, and out-of-pocket costs incurred during my work trip have not been adequately addressed by either the hotel or Booking.com.

Loved the warm welcome and efficient assistance from Shikara and George upon our arrival late evening when we were hot and tired. Also loved the breakfast- better than average for a breakfast buffet!

Convenient with a nice lobby layout, liked the pool table near the reception so the kids could play while we checked in. The night reception staff Shikara and George were super welcoming and helpful. Nice rooms, efficient layout, did not feel cramped. Amazing breakfast buffet, with better quality food than some other similarly priced competitors.

Location is in a quiet area but close to everything. I always stay here when visiting Raleigh. It is consistently clean and beds are comfortable. The breakfast here is one of the best hotel breakfasts of all the chains.

It was quiet and clean

We have been frequent visitors to the Hyatt House Brier Creek for the last 5 years. We live about an hour and a half from Raleigh and fly Southwest so we stay there often. Recently they were upgraded to a higher category which means more money/points. The last time we stayed there we had trouble with the toilet flushing and we checked in at 10:00 pm so my husband took the lid off and adjusted the flow level instead of going back down and changing rooms. We also have been disappointed lately because on the weekends we have to eat off of paper plates at the breakfast buffet and the omelet station is shut down on the weekends as well, which the front desk clerk said is because the weekday staff needs time off on the weekends from washing dishes. Also, when we checked in there was no one at the desk and we had to wait an unusually long time. When we checked out and I was waiting for my husband to bring up the car I saw two very large roaches on the counter near the snack foods/kitchen area. One crawled up the wall and vanished out of sight and the other I pointed out to the staff member and she killed it. You would think since the category level went up the quality would increase instead of decreasing.

Awesome stay; 30 days flew by at this location. Brandon is a class act and handled all our issues and concerns with grace and patience. My partner and I were very impressed with the service we received here.

The location and the room were clean and spacious.

From the moment that I arrived at this location, I was pleasantly surprised. Brandon was very knowledgeable and personable. My check-in was quick and easy. I will return to this Hyatt House location when I return to Raleigh.

The hotel was on our way for the weekend… We enjoyed a cocktail at the bar when we’re arrived! The room was enough wide with comfort.

Convenient location, nice atmosphere. Got a good senior rate. Hotel is clean to the point our room smelled of bleach and wondered if it was the site of a crime scene. Our window overlooked the air conditioners so it was noisy, but we were able to sleep through it. We got housekeeping services every day which was a surprise. Love the omelets for breakfast and they had my decaf coffee ready to go unlike another close hotel where we've stayed. The room we had was a good size with a kitchen with an island and I'm glad we upgraded.

We were here for 3 days and our stay was fantastic… the location is absolutely prefect. It’s close to the Brier Creek community which has lots of shops and restaurants. We had a King suite and the room was very spacious and the entire hotel was very clean and quiet. Our Bartender Sandra was the BEST! She remembered our names and just made you feel at home. They also have great bar food! They have a pool and a nice outdoor space with a fire pit! The staff over all were very welcoming and friendly. If you have a pet they have good places to walk them. I really don’t have any downside to the hotel… very relaxing atmosphere and for all they offer I found it a good value. We will stay again.

Takara was excellent! She is very professional and kind. She made me feel at home and very relaxed after my long drive from Florida. She remembered me from calling about my reservation and she was very welcoming. The room is really nice, very spacious, and clean. WONDERFUL!!

I arrived early afternoon and within about an hour Brandon was able to set me up in a room. The staff didn’t know this but I was there for a medical follow up and was already drained and tired. Overnight there was some kind of AC malfunction in my room, the next day Brandon not only upgraded my room but allowed me the courtesy of a late checkout to help me be more comfortable. Thank you Brandon for making an anxious treat more comfortable! Great customer service and responsiveness.
