Eigenlijk niets

L’hôtel était très calme lors de notre passage et nous étions presque les seuls clients, ce qui nous a permis de profiter pleinement des lieux. Le personnel était vraiment aux petits soins avec nous pendant nos deux nuits. L’établissement nous a également beaucoup aidés pour l’organisation de notre journée complète de safari, du départ tôt le matin jusqu’au retour en fin d’après-midi. Toute la réservation du safari a été organisée directement par l’hôtel. Notre chambre avec vue sur la rivière était très spacieuse et confortable, avec une jolie terrasse. Coup de cœur également pour la salle de bain extérieure, vraiment très agréable ! L’espace de restauration est très sympa, aussi bien pour le dîner que pour le petit-déjeuner. Enfin, l’emplacement est idéal pour un safari puisque l’hôtel se trouve à seulement 10 à 15 minutes en voiture du parc national d’Udawalawe. Une très belle expérience et une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter pour profiter d’Udawalawe et organiser facilement son safari ! 😊

Beautiful, spacious rooms and a lovely location. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. After a full day on safari in Udawalawe, jumping into the pool was exactly what we needed. Highly recommended if you're visiting the national park.

Staff were very kind and looked after us well. The pool was clean and refreshing, a welcome relief from the heat.

The accomodation we booked would be perfect for a family with children but the loft area was not comfortable for adults. Gates are locked overnight and there did not appear to be a staff member present overnight. This created an issue for us when we had booked any early morning safari. The staff member who was opening the gate was a little late, our safari vehicle had already arrived and we were locked in for a while.

Access to the rooms is not suitable for small children or older people as the stairs are very slippery and can be dangerous. Sri Lankan breakfast was only average, the western breakfast was way better. So if you have a choice, take the western option 😊 Besides that it was a wonderful stay for us as family!

Struttura ben curata ed immersa nella natura, al confine con il parco / riserva Udawalawa. Personale molto accogliente, disponibile e gentile. Camere pulite, compatibilmente con la tipologia di struttura e la sua localizzazione. Struttura dotata di una bellissima e pulitissima a libero accesso degli ospiti (asciugamani inclusi). Abbiamo optato anche per Safari organizzato tramite la struttura e siamo stati contenti dell’esperienza.

Da segnalare: la struttura ha un servizio ristorante, che potrebbe essere ulteriormente migliorato nella qualità dell’offerta, ma che è comunque discreto. Da segnalare: la camera in cui abbiamo alloggiato ha il bagno all’aperto, cosa che abbiamo apprezzato per la tipologia di esperienza che cercavamo, ma che è bene avere presente prima di decidere dove alloggiare.

The location was ideal for visiting udawalawe. The breakfast was also great, we really liked the addition of a smoothie. The staff were friendly and polite. The room itself was large and modern. We really enjoyed our stay here.

A beautiful hotel surrounded by nature. The room was very nice and the bathroom was truly wild and unique, which we really loved. The value for money was excellent, especially considering the quality offered. As Italians, we can say that the food was also very good, and the poached egg was perfectly cooked. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Wijaya, one of the guys working there, was especially kind and helpful, but everyone was friendly and welcoming, including the reception staff. Since our safari started at 6:00 a.m., they prepared a breakfast to take with us, and when we returned, we could also have a proper breakfast at the hotel. Even though we stayed only one night, they also did our laundry for us at a very good price. Despite check-out being at 11:00 a.m., they kindly let us stay by the pool until 1:00 p.m. while we waited for our driver to take us to our next destination.

We honestly did not find anything particularly negative during our stay. The property is quite immersed in nature, but for us this was actually one of its biggest advantages.

We loved our stay at Eliyanth Udawalawe. Such exceptional value. We had a lovely friendly welcome from wijay. Our family room was lovely with 2 floors which the kids loved and had a great boutique feel. Beautiful balcony with fabulous jungle feel. Lovely laid out pool with towels.. Great service from Wijay and Tharidu who couldn't do more for us. Freshly cooked breakfast with plentiful fruit and the best Iced Lattes we have had in Sri Lanka. Safari was great to and all organised well for us. Also great responsive correspondence prior to arriving.

Loved our stay here. They arranged a wonderful early morning safari and transport for us either side of our stay. The room was really nice, pool was perfect and food was decent. Would happily stay again.

We‘ve had the most wonderful and relaxing stay in Eliyanth Udawalawe. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are comfortable. The pool is very big and in lush surroundings. We‘ve stayed here for 2 nights and had most delicious meals with seafood that was only delivered from the sea a few moments before we‘ve ordered it. The manager Vija is very attentive and helpful. He makes sure all your needs are meet to have the most comfortable stay. We highly recommend this place!

Nous avons pu profiter d'un grand bungalow pour 4 personnes au bord de la piscine. Personnel adorable et serviable. Ils nous ont gentiment préparé notre petit déjeuner pour un départ en Safari à 5h45.

L’hotel est très bien situé pour partir en safari dans le parc de Udawalawe. Nous avons logé dans une grande villa tout en bois en bord de piscine. Le lieu est calme et propre, la deco est chaleureuse et les repas proposé variés et de qualité. Nous avons adoré profiter de l’immense piscine bien entretenue au retour de safari. Tout le personnel est très gentil, souriant et aux petits soins pour que vous passiez un bon moment. Un merci spécial à Tharindu pour son service attentionné au restaurant et à l’adorable Vijay pour son accueil chaleureux et son aide précieuse notamment pour l’organisation de nos déplacements.

Pænt turisthotel, tæt på Safari parken med høfligt personale. De er meget serviceorienterede og opmærksomme på gæsterne på den gode måde.

Poolen har ikke europæisk standard for rengøring og visse ting rundt omkring på hotellet er slidt og trænger til udskiftning. Bænke, døre og nogen møbler.

Betreft een locatie midden in de jungle. Wij kwamen 18.30 uur aan voor 1 nachtje. Echt een hele leuke opzet van hotel, mooie ruime familiekamer. Personeel geweldig! We bleven bij het hotel eten en ook dit was prima. Onze medereiziger haar airco deed het niet en kreeg direct andere kamer. Ze willen het echt naar de zin maken.

In principe niets, maar besef dat je in jungle zit dus af en toe een beestje is normaal.

The rooms were beautiful and so was the pool. We had a few bugs on our bed first night so we asked for clean sheets which were changed immediately. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the safari booked through the hotel was excellent. Great stop off for safari. Also good for wildlife watching.

The food wasn’t awful like people have said it’s just not as good as other places in Sri Lanka the kids however liked the chips and blt so it’s not bad for picky eaters.

This hotel is a fabulous find! The rooms are large, the property is gorgeous, the dinner at the restaurant was great, and swimming in the pool was so lovely after a long safari day. The staff is super friendly and we loved the safari that we booked through the hotel.

Excellent séjour à l’hôtel Eliyanth L’hôtel était tout à fait fidèle aux photos. La chambre double avec vue sur la piscine est parfaite pour une famille de quatre personnes. Le personnel de l’hôtel était très attentionné. Le safari organisé par l’hôtel était magnifique.

La struttura è molto curata e pulita immersa nella vegetazione. La nostra camera era al piano rialzato di una palafitta con un ampio terrazzino vista fiume ci abbiamo soggiornato con i nostri figli. Il personale molto gentile e sempre sorridente pronto a soddisfare ogni nostra esigenza. La piscina ampia e pulita. Ci tornerei e farei due notti

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery that created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The cozy rooms, delicious food, and overall warm hospitality made our experience truly memorable.

Amazing location, saw many wild monkeys close by. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were treated to a delicious fruit drink on arrival. Pool was lovely and great for kids of all ages. Had a packed breakfast ready for us before heading off early on a safari. Highly recommend Eliyanth Udawalawe

This is a beautiful place to stay for a visit to Udawalawe NP. The rooms are big and very clean, the bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is great with a lovely shower. The gardens are really beautiful and the pool is so big and refreshing after a safari. The food was delicious, staff were super helpful - everything was 10 ⭐️

This was my last stop before flying home and I am so glad I went! The hotel is gorgeous. My dinner was fantastic and my table directly overlooked the National Park, seeing a Serval on my first night. The next morning I went on the safari - the hotel has its own jeep and tour guide, so it was unbelievably easy. (Just what you want at 6am!) A breakfast was packed for me and was perfect. (Fresh fruit included - yum!) Staff were lovely and helped with my heavy bags, which I appreciated as I had a bad shoulder. The pool was great, too. Room had air conditioning and a fan - and was huge! And they sorted my airport transfer for me on my last morning!

The tuktuk ordered via the hotel to take me to the elephant orphanage charged a lot. I know this is more the tuktuk driver's fault - but just thought the hotel should be aware that their clients are being ripped off.

Das Personal war sehr bemüht und zuvorkommend, wodurch der Aufenthalt sehr angenehm war. Das große Zimmer bot viel Platz und die Klimatisierung funktionierte zuverlässig. Das Outdoor Bad war ein besonderes Highlight. Das Hotel ist eine gute Wahl, wenn man eine Safaritour machen möchte.

Die Wand hat nach Schimmel beziehungsweise sehr feucht gerochen. Das Frühstück war okay. Der Kaffee war nicht lecker.

Amazing service, staff and manager were so friendly and helpful. The room and pool area was beautiful. I wish we could have stayed longer. Would highly recommend and love to come back! Lunch and dinner was great.

Beautiful jungle setting. Saw monkey, giant squirrel and land monitor from our river view balcony. The pool area was lovely with huge pool and quiet location. They arranged a safari for us and our guides were great!

Felt the food was a bit lacking and also over priced

Eliyanth lodge is situated beautiful with its own garden and swimming pool, and close to Udawalawe national park. The room was comfortable and spacious. We booked the safari tours with them which was very easy and well arranged. Special thanks to our driver and guide Shantha Kumara who was very knowledgeable and made a sincere effort to give us the best safari experience. The staff at the Eliyanth itself was also great, all being very helpful and thoughtful. Lastly the food was amazing. We would definitely recommend the place, with great value money.

We loved our stay in Eliyath. We stayed in the kohomba room which was cozy and made with wood. We had a swim in the pool after 6pm which was warm and relaxing. We also bought the 4 hour safari from the hotel and had a lovely morning safari and breakfast afterwards. We had great service throughout our stay too!

The swimming pool could be better lit at night. Everything else was excellent.

The place is pretty and they are welcoming. They had little puppies very cute that also welcomed us!! The rooms was big and the view to the river. The staff was nice and very nice located from the Uda Park.

We booked the safari with them but we would be back at 12h and the check out was at 11h which is very not practical as we had to check out before the safari. They should think about that. Also the safari breakfast was not very good but this is subjective taste.

It would be nice if there was a TV in the room.

Wurde uns von Freunden empfohlen und ich würde das auch jederzeit empfehlen oder auch wieder hin gehen. Das Perdsonal war ausserordentlich freundlich und tat alles um die Gäste happy zu machen.

Fabulous remote location beside river, great and helpful staff, rooms were impressive, swimming pool was a real treat, restaurant had a choice of SL food and western style. Best spaghetti adiabatic I've had for awhile.

Expérience mitigée à l’Eliante. La première chambre proposée n’avait pas de fenêtre, ce qui est assez surprenant. Après demande, nous avons changé pour une chambre donnant sur la piscine avec de grandes baies vitrées, mais cela oblige à garder les rideaux fermés une grande partie du temps pour préserver l’intimité. La nuit, l’éclairage extérieur est assez présent, ce qui ne facilite pas le sommeil. Malgré cela, le personnel est sympathique et serviable. L’hôtel reste correct, mais ce n’est clairement pas le plus marquant de notre séjour au Sri Lanka.

Lovely and peaceful hotel very close to the entrance of Udawalawe National Park. What makes this place special is the wonderful staff. They were so kind and always willing to help. The hotel organized our safari and it was incredible! Special mention to Tharushi and Tharindu for being so caring and making sure we had an amazing stay!

First of all it is a little jungle oasis in the heart of Udawalawe. Very nice, clean an comfortable rooms. The manager Wijay, and the rest of the stuff, Naween, Dilshan, Wihaga, Wishmi and Tharidu where absolutely friendly. We had there the best dinner on our journey. The food and breakfast were GREAT. Thanks for that wonderfull stay.

Great value for money, staff were friendly and the food was decent. We were only there one night so didn’t get to use the facilities. Location was lovely next to a river. Bed was comfortable and room clean.

I didn’t like the open air toilet, there was a storm and the little storm flies came.

Oferta restauracji- śniadania i kolacja na miejscu bardzo słabe i dodatkowo drogie. Bardzo długo się czeka na dania, a ich smak o jakość nie jest najlepsza.

Es gab eine Baustelle am Hotel, was sehr laut und unangenehm war. Generell wirkte die Stimmung unter den Angestellten angespannt. Das Zimmer war jedoch schön und sauber. Im Restaurant musste man über eine Stunde auf das Essen warten

Amazing position on the river, calm and peaceful. We really enjoyed the pool and long slow breakfasts situated in nature watching the wildlife including birds, lizards, chipmunks, squirrels, peacocks and monkeys. We enjoyed staying in the same room as a family and the staff (in particular Vijay the manager) could not do enough to help us and make our stay comfortable. The safari they arranged was fantastic and the highlight of our stay, our driver Thushan was calm, knowledgeable and took his time with no rushing around but calm and respectful viewing of wildlife, highly recommended. We found the food very good and lots of good options for kids, very nice breakfast by the river - English or Sri Lankan breakfast available. If you are looking for a calm base to explore the national park this is a great choice, we stayed three days which allowed enough time for downtime, local walks and the national park safari day.

If you have small children check the mezzanine floors are suitable for you as the stairs are steep.

Beautiful wooden cabin overlooking the pristine garden side pool. Super friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend the Safari tour with Asithe- it was so much fun and really informative. The Sri Lankan breakfast of string hoppers was delicious!

Tolle Lage direkt am Fluss, schön grün und großer Pool. Stillvoll eingereichtes Zimmer und Bad im Freien. Nähe zum Park. Wir haben die Safari über die Unterkunft organisiert und viele Tiere gesehen. Das Sri Lankanische Essen (Rice and Curry) war preiswert und viel (entgegen der anderen Bewertungen, bezieht sich wahrscheinlich auf die internationalen Gerichte)

Frühstück hätte etwas mehr sein können, Obst hat uns zum Beispiel gefehlt was wir sonst überall dabei hatten.

Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber. Sehr schön eingerichtet und der Blick vom Balkon aus Richtung Fluss war wunderbar. Nachts hört man nur die Grillen zirpen. Man sieht öfter Affen, Pfaue, Echsen und Riesenhörnchen direkt vom Zimmer oder Restaurant aus. Der Pool ist richtig sauber und eine tolle Abkühlung nach der Safari. Die Safari haben wir übers Hotel organisieren lassen. Hat alles super geklappt und wir wurden mit dem großen Jeep direkt beim Hotel abgeholt.

Die Anlage ist an sich wirklich sehr liebevoll gestaltet, nur rund um unser Haus wo das Zimmer sich befand sah es etwas unschön aus. Links war etwas Chaos und Müll und rechts 3 wirklich hässliche schwarze Container die permanent wirken, keine Ahnung warum man die da hingestellt hat. Das Essen war sehr gut nur vieles auf der Karte war nicht verfügbar. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich aber sprechen zum Großteil sehr schlecht Englisch.

The wonderful location and the lovely staff. Nothing was too much trouble. A big thank you to the Manager Wijay (and his superb coffees) and Thushan, our incredible Safari guide and driver. The hotel arranged the safari and provided a more than ample packed lunch. The outdoor setting for dining was truly wonderful and the food so delicious. Thank you.

Das Zimmer und auch die Umgebung am Fluss waren sehr schön. Die Zimmer sind groß, allerdings kann oben unterm Dach niemand schlafen, weil es viel zu heiß ist. Die Lage war ok, man ist auf einen Fahrer angewiesen, weil es keine Restaurants fußläufig gibt. Der Pool ist toll! Sehr sauber und schön gestaltet.

Das Frühstück war extrem wenig. Man wählt am Vorabend aus was man frühstücken möchte und wir waren sehr enttäuscht. Es gibt kaum Toast, kaum Butter/Marmelade, gar kein Obst und nur einen ganz kleinen Saft. Das schlechteste Frühstück unserer Reise. Generell ist die Küche sehr schlecht. Wir haben abends einmal dort bestellt und haben über eine Stunde auf gebratene Nudeln gewartet. Leider haben weder die Nudeln noch der gebratene Reis geschmeckt. Dafür ist es aber ziemlich teuer. Es gab auch kaum Getränke, das meiste war gerade nicht da. Da frage ich mich wie das sein kann, wenn man doch viele Buchungen hat. Wir haben unsere Safari über das Hotel gebucht und waren leider enttäuscht. Wir haben diese Safari schon mal gemacht, daher wissen wir, wie viel man eigentlich erfahren kann von seinem Guide. Leider hat dieser Guide nur am Handy gehangen, hat uns überhaupt nichts erklärt und wir sollten plötzlich aussteigen und eine 30 minütige Pause machen (bei einer 4 stündigen Morgensafari total unnötig). Dafür haben wir gezahlt, obwohl wir keine Pause brauchten. Würde ich also nicht über das Hotel buchen.

The staff were amazing. Particularly the manager. He was very kind to my two year old. He went above and beyond to make our stay special. We ate in the restaurant on one night and the food particularly the curry was delicious. The atmosphere is very chilled and relaxing.

Poor wifi Rooms felt a little dusty and glass could be cleaner on the beautiful big windows we had looking out on to the pool.
