Kelly Rd Cambridge Lodge

Modern, clean, spacious

Not too far from center. Nice, clean and comfortable. Convinience shop next door.

No restaurant on site

Got an upgrade for free because the room is booked was close to road and nosiy was very considerate cause I had baby under 1

Bathroom was exceptionally spacious with a great shower, quality fittings and toiletries. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning ensured a comfortable temperature at all times. Good lighting for reading and excellent bathroom mirror lighting. The kitchen had all the basics for microwaving convenience foods and handling continental style breakfasts. Having the Fresh Choice right next door was a bonus. We were able to request an early continental breakfast for the first morning which was really helpful. It comprised tinned peaches, yogurt and a rich varied nuts and seeds muesli plus orange juice. It was a short drive into town for dinners. We particularly enjoyed The Kitchen and Bar on Alpha St and The Onyx restaurants.

Would have been good to have a shoe/boot drop mat for soiled footwear, just inside the door as the studio is all carpeted except for the kitchen bar and bathroom. A hook on the back of the bathroom door or a drop area in the bathroom to hang pj's etc before hopping in the shower would be good. ( Front door is opposite bathroom door in Unit 5)

Lovely stay, modern building and the rooms were nice and write with refreshing decor

Very comfortable, clean and spacious units. The location is great for the velodrome

Great location . Easy access . Clean . Comfortable

modern, clean, functional, friendly staff. Would happily stay aain.

Oddly, someone was trying our door at 7:30am.

The staff were amazing. So lovely to speak to and kind. I needed to check out later than the standard time due to an appointment I had, and the lady owner was so nice and made it so easy. Very nice rooms, very clean and modern. Plenty of parking and there is a small cafe, & supermarket next door. Very short drive to the town centre. Would highly recommend!

There was nothing we didn't like. It was perfect, and I would definitely book again if I am ever in Cambridge.

What a wonderful place to stay. Close to town. The host Steven was super welcoming and friendly. The place was so clean and we had all the amenities. Definitely coming back if the opportunity arises to stay in Cambridge again.

The room was very clean the bed was very comfortable.Lovely room will stay again

There was not a thing I didn’t like

Modern Clean comfortable, perfect for short or long stays

Nothing all great

Clean room with everything we needed. Friendly staff.

Location, Cleanliness and friendly staff

Maybe brighter bulbs as it was a dingy in the kitchen area/ dining

Nice spacious modern room, reasonably priced, plenty of parking. Will stay here again if I'm in Hamilton/Cambridge.

Very modern and exceptionally clean

The room was very clean and tidy, with no unpleasant odors or cigarette smell at all. It was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the heating worked very well, keeping the room warm and comfortable. The kitchen appliances were modern and looked almost brand new, making cooking very convenient. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this place.

It would be even better if the bathroom had a heater or another heating source, especially during the colder months.

Love Kelly Lodge

Great location near town. Very quiet and comfortable. Modern and clean.

Close to the velodrome. Clean and tidy.

Comfortable bed, good shower.

The spacious bathroom. The comfy chairs.Nice bed very comfy

No oven or cook top to cook anything.Too much condensation from the heat pump when you open the curtains in the morning.

Everything was immaculate.

Fresh Choice supermarket right next door, convenient parking. Corner site, easy to navigate by car on arrival. The room left us wanting for nothing. Immaculate studio apartment, dishwasher, nespresso machine, Sky TV, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and roomy shower including great water pressure. Kelly Rd Lodge has thought of everything. Peaceful area, nice and quiet. Excellent stay and warm reception from Steven. Absolutely credit and testament to that excellence at Kelly Rd Lodge. Such a breath of fresh air to stay somewhere that clearly takes honour and pride in delivering highest quality service to their guests. HIGHLY recommended, and we look forward to coming back! Thanks again SO much.

The bed was nice. Very clean. Big bathroom

It is on one of the main road so with the windows open it can be loud

Clean and very tidy

the Unit was very spacious and we loved the large bed! Great heating and the additional blanket excellent

nothing

Very clean and well maintained. Staff were very friendly an accommodating. There is a gym and shop next door to keep you moving.

Very helpful, courteous staff. Very clean, comfortable room - we were upgraded, las the motel was not full, and we greatly appreciated this offer.

We were in a studio room, but for watching tv, there was no place to sit, apart from the bed. My constant gripe- the cushions on the bed, propped up against the clean pillows. Those cushions have been propped up against countless other pillows, and on countless other surfaces during a stay, and between guests. Get rid of the cushions!

Well equipped rooms for a comfortable overnight stay in Cambridge.

Spotless , great place to stay for the night bed superb and lovely big bathroom .quiet for sleeping . Also very nice staff thank you

Nothing

Clean and well set up rooms. Friendly staff.

Location is away from the main part of town, but this also means it is quiet

Great.frer upgrade was a great touch

Good clean motel.

A bit pricey for location.

Convenient. Great sized rooms. Parking onsite. Clean and modern.

Very clean and tidy and staff was very friendly.

We stayed in a disability room, this was the best laid out disability room we have ever stayed in. Everything was at a good height, the rails were appropriately placed and lots of room for walker and wheelchair to manoeuvre. Beds were super comfy and even though it is on the edge of Cambridge it is right beside a well stocked supermarket.

My only criticism would be there were no small side plates in the kitchenette, but that was so minor and we managed just fine without them,

Large room, quieta

All good

Location great. We went to a social event in town.

Nothing

Nice and easy little spot to stay in Cambridge. Close to the town. Room was big, clean and very comfortable. Would recommend.

Easy to find after leaving the Waikato expressway . Room was modern, with large bathroom and fixtures were new. It was close to restaurants and town. Noise from the road was not a concern. Great stay.

Muy bien decorado

Lovely boutique style accommodation. New, clean, central location, private and quiet.

Nothing

The amenities were fantastic! It’s a new build, so everything was super clean, fresh and up to date. The rooms are equipped with everything you could think of, we were so impressed! Such a lovely warm welcome as well, the lady at reception was super bubbly and charismatic.

The bed was a little hard for our liking, but still comfortable enough. Other than that, everything was great!

Everything. Always consistent service, comfort and great value for money

Nothing

Good location for us

On arrival plates were chipped I returned to reception with an understanding demeanour. Second day plates that had been cleaned and put back into cupboards we found chipped again when we went to use them and couldn’t use due to obvious MAJOR Heath risk. I bought this up with receptionist only to be told they use these plates in all the units and they were very good plates. Tea bags not replaced on second day but the room was clean and tidy.

My family absolutely loved Kelly Rd Lodge! We're excited to recommend it to our friends and can't wait to stay there again. Its family-friendly atmosphere and thoughtful setup made our stay so enjoyable. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated having everything we needed in the kitchenette. The bathroom was truly outstanding—definitely a highlight!

None.

clean, spacious and comfortable room, equipped with kitchenwares, microwave and dishwasher, very handy if you want a night in takeaways. good location at the outskirt of the town centre, easy access to cycling, hiking, Waitomo caves, and you can fine quiet and tranquillity after outdoor activities.

Very clean and comfortable room. Great nights sleep.

Very clean and spacious room with a well appointed kitchenette. Recently remodeled. Next to a grocery store and across the street from a new nice coffee place.

Nothing.

Nice staff Modern rooms

The staff was incredibly professional and kind. They allowed us to check in early --- greatly appreciated by this road weary couple! This place was spotlessly clean. Laundry room had efficient washers and dryers. They supply detergent too! The kitchen was well equipped including high end appliances (even dishwasher!)

No complaints at all! We could easily stay here multiple days next time!

Clean and tidy and in a good location

I thought a bit expensive

The one-bedroom apartment was spacious and well-designed. The shower, kitchen and bed were excellent. The staff were very helpful.

Without doubt one of the best regional NZ accomodations I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms are beautifully clean, modern and spacious. Great location, easy check in with helpful staff. Would absolutely stay again.

Nothing, everything exceeded expectations.

Spotless and very comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful.

Great location, rooms were nice and large, comfy and better than expected. Still felt new. Check in was great. Cleaning staff were fantastic and friendly. The scent in reception was very welcoming and pleasant.

I was delighted with this stay, but if i was to be extremely picky, I couldn't open the door with the curtains closed 😅

Loved the decor, the proximity to the CBD and the bike paths! The bathroom was well equipped with lots of towels!

The night tables were just flat tables, instead of having a drawer or another shelf to place necessary items, meant you had to place them on the floor.
