We were visiting Hamilton but prefer to stay in Cambridge as it’s nicer and safer. Location is a great and just a short drive to the expressway. Very clean and tidy and the staff are super friendly.

A great place to stay for groups, especially biking groups. A lovely pool and spa, friendly staff, comfortable rooms,spacious grounds with large gathering areas and good security We had 2 rooms and enjoyed the vibe.

The Podium is not central to town so you need to drive( or bike) into restaurants and the shops

The facilities were exactly as shown in the photos and the entire complex is very thoughtfully set out. The staff were very prompt to respond to my emails and communicated well. The pet friendly room and policy was clear and very reasonable. There was lots of space to exercise the dog safely and away from other guests. Plenty of well placed outdoor bins to handle the rubbish. It's well placed in terms of location and was very quiet.

That we didn't get to spend more time at the complex and make best use of all the facilities and services that were on offer.

Everything was great. We were even able to extend our stay another night.

I think the main windows could use some sort of tints for added privacy.

The lodge was suitable for disabled guests. Slight lack of privacy with full length glass doors externally. Very pleasant, welcoming and helpful host.

Found a bug in the bed. Cleanliness was bad around the fridge. A penetrative urin smell in the toilet

The pool and spa.

We stayed with family in adjacent rooms and it was great to have had our own area together. It was close to the pool. Plenty of parking. Ben was very helpful and accommodating to our needs. I would recommend this lodge to anyone who has group accommodation requirements.

Perhaps have draw curtains instead of the roller blinds. The step up into the room is quite high for an elderly person, maybe put a small step to lessen that step-up height.

We enjoyed our location of being in Rio, located right next to the pool which was so lovely and conventional! We weren’t far from our wedding venue and the podium was easy to find from the expressway and like 5 minutes from town. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and we thought the bedding was a very nice touch! I also loved that there were multiple mirrors as there was a lot of us who love to admire ourselves haha, and the picnic table outside was sooo clever as we were able to sit together as a whanau and enjoy a cold one :) Another notable mention, the cleanliness of the area (including, grass, courts) and the layout of our room was great. Now, shoutout to Ben who provided outstanding customer service, was always accommodating, and greeted us with a genuine smile. His sense of humor really made our stay even more enjoyable. He truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Thank you, Ben and thank you the podium motel! :)

Not much at all, but a suggestion of maybe putting some little salt and pepper packets along with the tea/coffee? And… thats it!

I liked the design of the studio we had. The up high windows were great as we could leave them open all the time. Tinted glass in the front would be great. Overall, great lodge was a grest design.

The servicing was not up to my standard. Tea and coffee were not replaced at all over our 4 day stay and the wine glasses when we arrived were dirty on the shelf.

Podium Lodge is in a central location with easy access to the areas of interest in Cambridge. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We have stayed before and love the facilities and the Lodge.

Location to Cambridge and Hamilton

The property was lacking some basic maintainence, in our room alone the air conditioning operated poorly, the jug was temperamental and the shower/bath diverter was stuck. The carpet was also lifting in front of the door.

I loved how the accomodation was all seperate with no adjorning rooms. Room was clean and tidy and spacious. Beds were super comfy to which is great

The only negative i found was it wouldve been great to have a tv in the room. Always nice when you are away to lay in bed and watch tv at the end of a busy day.

Very impressed with the facilities. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a look around the communal area and found it to be well equipped and clean with modern furnishings. It would be the ideal place for a group gathering. I had a day surgery in Cambridge and the Podium was close to everything we needed.

We would have liked to have nets on the main window for privacy in the afternoon/evening. The compendium mentioned breakfast (details to be found on page one) but there was no further information of it and also air con instructions (to be found in the appliance section) and there was nothing further found.

Rooms were spacious, well presented and clean. Having a swimming pool/spa was a nice touch.

Good location. Has a pool and spa. Has what you need.

The rooms we had didn't have any space to put clothes away really. The bathroom it had nowhere to put your toiletries. Other times we have stayed the bathroom seemed better. This was for accessible guests, I didn't like the open shower, constantly wiping the water off the floor. Price has gone up quite significantly from last year. You could go to a hotel with breakfast and the night rate would likely be better.

Cool layout with the different countries named after Olympic hosting countries, very clean and tidy, heaps of parking, great picnic tables and seating, and awesome (huge!) pool!

It would be nice if the windows were tinted, as you can see right into rooms opposite you and as you walk past, so no privacy unless the blinds are down. But that’s only a minor! Everything else was perfect!

Durch offene Fensterfront sieht man sich gegenseitig in die Betten (Präsention wie in einem Schaufenster) es hat aber Verdunkelungs Vorhänge. Da die gegenüberliegenden Räume nicht belegt waren, war man nicht ganz so ausgestellt.
