The place needs to be fumigated. I found 3 "unwelcome guests" in the room. I asked to be moved, but wasn't. They gave me Doom, upon my requests and that was it. I would have expected management to check up on the situation but they didn't. I won't willingly go back.

Ialways seem to land the worst room...with stairs to the bathroom. Plastic spoons to stir your coffee ? Eish. Room needs some tender love and care. Plaster coming off the walls behind the curtains....lampshades broken .....furniture to be taken care of. Shower needs attention.....plenty milldew. Even after bringing some things to the owners attention before.....not much has changed.

I didnt like that the staff were rude, the room was stuffy and smelt strange. The lamp, tv and aircon didnt work. The shower ran cold. This didnt feel like a 4 star hotel.

The inside garden court gives a peaceful vibe and the coffee counter is a pleasant surprise as it opens at six in the morning. Good point from where to visit the big hole.

The Gate, the entrance was a bit risky because if you are driving, you must get out of the car to be able to open the Gate with an Access Card.

Reviewed Jun 15, 2026We had no breakfast as we ate at family. The location of the hotel is well situated in Kimberly and we found it on our GPS immediately.
There were no bathroom door for privacy, the carpet was dirty and the room windows open onto the stoop, which we opened for fresh air but people walked pass and kept on looking in while we laid in bed. Staff never spoke to us once, only greeted and asked my name , give my key and that was the first and last interaction, staff also make alot of noise during the night opening and closing doors. The price is very good for one night but I will not stay there again. The best experience was the bed, comfortable and soft.

Overall maintenance and cleaning not good No windows in room 17. Toilet seat loose, shower tap and shower head leaking. So hard to adjust temperature. Drain smelled and bathroom door hinges need oil or replacement The windows are blacked out and restaurant on the other side of glass. No natural light in the room.

Service was so poor, we were not even accompanied into our room. We were just told which direction the room was and that was it. When we got into our room, we had only 1 towel and there was no shower gel or soap. Pillowcases were only changed when we were in our room already, which happened was only on 3 pillows, the last one didn't have a pillowcase. I was walking with the stick from all the driving and when I requested a trolley for our luggage I was told they don't have any and the staff member just walked away.
