Wolfgang ist ein super netter Gastgeber. Waren jetzt das zweite Mal da und es war absolut perfekt!

Établissement qui a beaucoup de charme construit par le propriétaire. Chambre spacieuse et notre sdb était pourvue d’une baignoire. Une source d’eau naturelle potable traverse la maison. Le couple qui gère cet établissement est charmant et fort sympathique.

Son emplacement, la source, les propriétaires, le bâtiment très spacieux.

De gastvrijheid en duidelijke communicatie vanuit de accommodatie. Zij dachten goed mee rondom mijn latere aankomst (vanwege autopech 2 dagen later aangekomen) en de afhandeling van mijn vertraagde bagage.

Vanwege ernstige autopech heb ik helaas maar 1 van de 3 nachten hier kunnen doorbrengen. Doordat de overnachtingen vooraf vaststonden begrijp ik dat de kamer aangehouden moest worden, maar een klein gebaar van coulance (zoals een vergoeding voor het twee keer gemiste ontbijt) had de nare ervaring met de pech onderweg wat verzacht ;-)

Das Haus liegt inmitten des Burren auf einer Quelle. Man kann sich im Haus frisches Quellwasser aubfüllen. Obwohl das Gebäude aus den 90ern stammt fühlt man sich im inneren wie in einem alten Herrenhaus. Es gibt einen Frühstücksraum sowie zwei gemütlich Gemeinschafts-/Aufenthaltsräume jeweils mit Kamin. Die Einrichtung ist maximalistisch, gemütlich und urig, nicht jedermanns Sache aber wir fanden es toll. Außerdem gibt es eine selbstbedienungs Bar. Wolfgang und Maria (die Gastgeber) waren sehr nett und gesprächig. Unser Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich, es war dunkel gehalten; wir fanden das gemütlich und passend zum Ambiente des Hauses und der Umgebung. Das Bad ist zwar schon etwas älter aber sauber und funktional. Das Frühstück was phänomenal, es gab ein großes Buffet mit allem was das Herz begehrt (Käse, Wurst, Marmeladen, Cerialien, Joghurt, Obst, Säfte...), optional gab es auch Irish Breakfast, Porridge oder Eispeisen. Unser Aufenthalt in The Waters war rundum zufrieden stellend und wir würden jeder Zeit wiederkommen.

Everything! Wolfgang and his lovely wife were so welcoming. This country home has such charm. We enjoyed sitting by the fire in the sitting room in the evening. The beds were comfortable. Honour system drinks (beer and wine). Great cool to order breakfast, toast , croissants, fruit , oatmeal etc. beautiful relaxing country setting. Restaurants 8 mins away in Ballyvaughan

Unser Zimmer war etwas „in die Jahre“ gekommen.

Tolles B&B das von Wolfgang geschaffen wurde. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail und mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet. Lage ist einfach phänomenal. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge z.b Cliffs of moher.

Betten waren etwas durchgelegen. Sonst alles super.

Unique country home off the beaten track, steps from a castle. Property has so much personality and the gregarious proprietors made our stay memorable. Grounds are gorgeous and the spaces are cozy.

Frühstück aussergewöhnlich gut

Es gab einen sehr schönen Aufenthaltsraum mit Kamin. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Der Inhaber war sehr freundlich.

Lo staff è accogliente, la colazione è veramente meravigliosa. Dormire qui lo metterei fra le esperienze da fare assolutamente in Irlanda, la colazione irlandese, il verde che lo circonda e il silenzio della campagna irlandese crea un'atmosfera veramente magica. Wolfgang è accogliente e ti fa sentire a casa. La camera era spaziosa con possibilità di farsi una tisana prima di dormire, letto comodo e struttura pulita

Un po' lontano da eventuali ristoranti o pub per cenare, ma questo è compreso nell'essere immersi nella natura irlandese

Die Vermieter sind überaus nett, plaudern gerne und geben gute Tipps. Die Einrichtung ist es wert in jedem Bereich genau betrachtet zu werden. Alles sehr gepflegt. Überall findet man interessante und schöne Gegenstände. Die Einrichtung entspricht einem alten gediegenen Landhaus. Das Frühstück ist vielfältig und hervorragend. Ein Salon mit Kamin und ein Lesezimmer stehen für gemütliche Abende zur Verfügung.

4 Tage waren zu kurz, wir nahmen ungern Abschied.

My stay was far too short, and honestly, I regret not booking a few more nights because the place exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for somewhere to relax, disconnect and escape the chaos, this is definitely the place. I felt like I had been transported to another era — the property felt more like a castle than a traditional accommodation, which made the experience even more special. The included breakfast was absolutely perfect, and Maria and her husband were extremely kind and welcoming throughout my stay. I genuinely felt very well looked after. I will definitely be coming back!

One small thing to consider: perhaps some soundproof doors would be a nice improvement Other than that, everything was perfect.

Das Badezimmer war nicht zeitgemäß und renovierungsbedürftig. Die Zimmer waren auch sehr innere Jahre gekommen.

Alles an dieser Unterkunft ist sehr besonders im absolut positiven Sinne. Extrem nette Gastgeber und ein tolles Frühstück runden das perfekte Erlebnis ab.

Sehr schönes Hotel im Grünen, absolut ruhig gelegen mitten in der Natur. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber und ein tolles Frühstück runden die Sache ab. Die Einrichtung der Räume ist originell und sehr behaglich. Fast ein kleines Kunstwerk. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wären gerne länger geblieben.

The Waters Country House was one of our favorite places to stay in our three week trip to Ireland. We stayed in The Sun Room which had a beautiful view of the valley at the base of a mountain. You could watch the sunrise from the king sized bed. The room comes equipped with a jug to bring to the main house to fill water from the Holy Well, which is a fresh mountain water supply filtered from a sistern on the property. There is a self-serve beer and wine bar in the house where you can have a pint or glass while conversing with folks in front of the fire. The attention to detail in the decor created an atmosphere of luxury in old European flare!

Absolutely nothing!

This is an isolated hotel but it was also quiet. The rooms are VERY basic and the beds are somewhat short. The place has tons of charm and the owner/manager is fantastic. Breakfast was wonderful and the grounds were lovely. Be aware that the roads to and around this location are in rough shape. I blew a tire after I left the stay at the hotel. Of course, not on the hotel, but a note for anyone reading this to try to avoid the multitude of pot holes in the area.

I would have liked a bit longer bed! But this was an authentic stay and lovely. Also, more lighting in the room (not overhead) would have been appreciated.

Bellissima country house. Atmosfera magica, c'è anche una sorgente di acqua nella casa. Si sente il rumore del legno mentre si cammina. Salette adorabili in cui bere una tisana, un calice di vino, giocare a scacchi o semplicemente leggere il giornale. Ottima ed abbondante colazione servita nella sala. I letti sono matrimoniali, quindi più ampi della media irlandese, e comodi. I proprietari della casa sono simpatici ed accoglienti!

Purtroppo abbiamo trascorso solo una notte!! Utile una tendina leggera alle finestre per una maggiore privacy. Sarebbe utile un po' di manutenzione alle doccia e vasca.

The house is so unique. It's built beautifully. It was easy to get there and the location is perfect because it's close to tourist attractions, restaurants and the sea. The hosts are so nice and easygoing. The room was very pretty and comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional. We loved it. It's great value, we highly recommend it.

Perfektes Ambiente im Landhausstil. Mit gemütlichen Gemeinschafträumen, Bar etc. um den Abend ausklingen zu lassen. Nette Gastgeber mit guten Tips für Restaurants und Ausflüge. Frühstück war gut und mit individuellen Wünschen zu kombinieren. In drei Wochen Irland/Großbritanien war "the Waters" zusammen mit der Dark Sky Lodge das Highlight. Preislich war es nicht billig, aber es war es Wert. Man hat sich nur wohlgefühlt. Würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Donc pas de fausse note. Vous pouvez profiter de la salle de réception pour passer la soirée de manière "cosy". Le petit déjeuner est copieux et l'accueil attentionné.

Une porte de douche à réparer et une isolation de la porte des toilettes qui pourrait être mieux pensée.

De très vieilles pierres, des meubles anciens, des objets qui ont voyagé, des petits salons à l'atmosphère intime et feutrée, des escaliers et des recoins, de l'eau de source miraculeusement pure, un petit déjeuner somptueux, frais et de qualité. Calme absolu, sérénité, et un accueil naturel et simple, très agréable. Le tout sur une colline surplombant le bord de mer, dans un environnement totalement bucolique.

Everything was perfect , the hosts were so nice, I would recommend The waters country house to anyone who is looking for a nice relaxing holiday and lovely food , we'll definitely be back.

It is in a rural location to the North of Co Clare in beautiful countryside and near on the Wild Atlantic Way. Easy to park and made welcome with cool water and other drinks available from the owner/staff. Cool and comfortable place to stay, during a July heatwave in the West of Ireland. Excellent choice of breakfast, choice of public rooms to spend time in with small grounds to explore and views of countryside. A complete change with guide books maps and friendly hosts, to help facilitate our stay.

This house was so perfect we wished we would've stayed longer. The mix of old world decor, history and comfort were perfect. Wolfgang was a great host and breakfast was great. He suggested we take the coastal route to the cliffs and it did not disappoint!

The entire property is a gem. The location is outstanding for day trips to explore that region of Ireland. What made the say superb was Woflgang and Tatiana. Outstanding job in every sense of the word. They take pride in what they do and it shows. Very welcoming and generous. A wonderful experience.

Gorgeous view, best breakfast, kind host!

It was the quirkiest place I have ever stayed which I loved. If you want a cookie-cutter type hotel this isn’t the place for you. If you want a hidden grotto, unique rooms, real candles decorating your breakfast table then this place is for you. Close to The Burren and the Cliffs of Moner to be convenient but far enough away to feel like you’ve escaped the crowds and found your own hidden retreat. The owner Wolfgang could not have been more welcoming.

Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstückbuffet wird mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Es hat mehr als genug und die Qualität war sehr gut. Wünsche für das Frühstück können abgegeben werden, und werden erfüllt💪👍👌. Das Personal sowie der Eigentümer, Wolfgang, nehmen sich Zeit für die Gäste. Die Liegenschaft ist etwas abseits vom Dorf, daher sehr ruhig. Die Zimmer sind sind authentisch im Landhaus-Styl eingerichtet. Das Haus ist ein Erlebnis für sich. Die Hauseigene Trinkwasser-Quelle ist einsehbar und das Trinkwasser ist von guter Qualität.

Oh this is a very magical place was totally enchanted by it all ,the location the holy well,the sitting ,dining rooms and library candles lite everywhere,great breakfast and the view of wild flowers and the Burren.

We got the last room. It’s a hobbit house very sweet needs new shower curtain or glass door.

HEEL ROMANTISCH INTERIEUR

Nádherné a klidné místo a skvělá lokalita. Pokoje a veškeré vybavení perfektní a zařízené s vkusem. Moc milý a nápomocný majitel Wolfgang.

El hotel estaba en lo algo de una colina y sin otras casas alrededor y era muy pintoresco y original. La anfitriona era española y fue una grata sorpresa. Ella y su marido fueron encantadores. Las habitaciones eran acogedoras y cómodas. El hotel tenía bastantes detalles para hacer más agradable la estancia: lugares para poder estar, terraza, bar disponible, neverita y te y café gratis entre otros. El desayuno fue variado y perfecto. El entorno respiraba calma.

El hotel se compone de una parte principal y otra anexa pero para nosotros no fue problema. No había TV en las habitaciones (al menos en las dos paralelas de la casa anexa) aunque esto tampoco fue problema para nuestro grupo. No a todo el mundo le puede gustar la decoración pero esto forma parte del encanto del lugar.

Eine nette historische Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage außerhalb von Ballyvaughan. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber mit Südtiroler Wurzeln. Auf Wunsch gibt es ein umfangreiches irisches Frühstück. Das reicht dann für den ganzen Tag. Die Einzelbetten wirken klein, aber wir haben himmlisch darin geruht.

Breakfast room was very nice, and the food was excellent. I also really liked that you could help yourself to extra food such as bread, cold meats, yogurt etc.

The room was a separate cabin, lovely atmosphere and furniture, great view out over farmland and trees, great wifi, fab breakfast, no TV in the room which was a plus! Wolfgang was a warm and friendly host and made us very welcome.

The property was charming and felt like we stepped back into an old Italian villa in Tuscany. Wolfgang and his staff were so amazing! We made a scheduling mistake when booking and he and his wife Maria were so kind to help us get everything worked out. We will be telling all of our friends about their wonderful property! The rooms are spacious and the breakfast was delicious! We will be back!

Shower was pretty tight.

I feel in love the moment I got into the door and I didnt want to leave. Wolfgang and his family provided an enchanting atmosphere. I could have curled up like a cat anywhere and felt comfortable. The property was more than I was expecting and felt like a romantic novel. The refreshing King David spring well was beautiful and it felt like a secret garden escape.
