Les tentes et les infrastructures correspondent bien aux photos . Mike a bien répondu à notre demande de changer de location car malheureusement il faisait froid et la tente était humide . Nous avions froid et Mike nous a gentiment proposé de prendre le cottage mieux chauffé . Nous avons apprécié les bouillotes dans les lits le soir : une attention bienvenue . Les petits déjeuner et le repas du soir étaient très bien .Le repas du midi était plus simple : une salade et une quiche tres bonnes , un autre jour des gnocchis moins bons , une autre fois une soupe seulement que nous avons jugé insuffisante pour un repas du midi . Il manque un dessert même simple comme un yaourt ou une boule de glace chaque midi par exemple . L'accueil autour d'une flambée le soir était trés agréable . Les lieux sont propres et la vue est magnifique avec visite des éléphants devant la terrasse tous les jours .

L'accueil à l'arrivée a été inexistant .Pas de briefing et aucune présentation du programme . Nous avions lu de bons commentaires sur Laura et Mike mais comme ils étaient absents , on a senti un manque de motivation et d'implication de l'équipe . Le premier jour de pluie ou nous étions un peu déçu de la météo , nous aurions aimé avoir un peu plus de contact et de convivialité . Pour les safaris nous avions deux guides : Damien et Romen . Damien est passionné et le safari avec lui était plus instructif qu'avec Romen. Nous avons vu les big Five mais Romen donnait peu d'informations sur la vie des animaux .Par exemple quand nous avons vu des hippopotames , aucune information n'a été donné sur ces animaux .Ce fut frustrant . Pour le safari du soir , on nous a proposé un apéritif mais sans nous indiquer qu'il n'était pas offert contrairement au café du matin . Personnellement nous trouvons que le repas à 14 h est trop tardif avec un safari à 15h 30 . Au niveau de la facture il est indiqué un montant total pour les consommations du séjour mais sans détail . Cela manque de transparence .

Un piccolo paradiso in mezzo alla savana. Nonostante la lontananza da ogni centro abitato le tende sono dotate di tutti i comfort , c'è una piscina a sfioro e una terrazza dalla quale spesso abbiamo potuto vedere gli elefanti che venivano ad abbeverarsi! Ma quello che ha fatto la differenza sono state le persone, la competenza di Daniel nei safari, l'ospitalità di Romy, il Braai per cena, tutti momenti indimenticabili e organizzati in maniera impeccabile.

Nella riserva, comunque collegata senza barriere al Kruger, potreste trovare meno animali rispetto al Sud del parco, ad ogni modo con le capacità dei Ranger e con un pizzico di fortuna si riesce a vedere tutti i big 5 e ben di più!

Emplacement au calme absolu avec passage régulier des elephants devant la terrasse sur pilotis, grâce aux points d'eau installés. Immersion dans la nature et déconnexion totale. Tente sur pilotis simple mais propre et fonctionnelle, avec terrasse et vue dégagée.

Déjeuner léger pour le prix d'une pension complète. Toutes les boissons, même l'eau, sont à payer en extra. Game drive variable d'un ranger à l'autre. La réserve à la végétation dense laisse entrevoir peu d'animaux, à part des éléphants. Le tarif reste très cher pour la qualité des prestations.

Zeer comfortabele tent, prachtige locatie, heerlijk eten en prima safari's.

Effet waouh garanti ! Les animaux passent devant le lodge ce qui rend le séjour magique. La réserve de Grietje est très riche en vie sauvage ce qui rend les safaris très intéressants. Comme il n'y a que trois chalets, le sentiment d'exclusivité est encore plus présent. Ils sont confortables et bien équipés. Les repas sont variés et succulents et nous offrent un bel aperçu de la cuisine sud africaine ! Le personnel est top et on a vite l'impression d'être chez soi.Merci à Audrey, Mowen et Gary et tout le staff de nous avoir permis de passer une semaine de rêve ! Bref, Muweti, c'est un must !

Moven en Damian waren 2 leuke gidsen en hadden veel kennis over de dieren. We hebben ontzettend leuke gamedrives gehad en onze kamer was ook super! ‘s nachts hoorden we allemaal dieren langs onze tent lopen. Gave ervaring!

- very friendly staff, always helpful, trying to make sure you enjoy your stay - great safari drives, 2 per day, for about 2.5h-4h drives, guides were always trying to track animals even in cold mornings and we always managed to see some of big 5 - good guide knowledge and explanation about animals - I enjoyed that we had more time just to watch animals during drives, we would stop near animals and sat there for a good bit of time watching and talking about them - very good dinners (ostrich, impala, braii), good breakfasts - good location, had a lot of elephants roaming in front of the lodge and could watch then from the porch - quiet and private lodge, organized for small number of people, max 6

Everything was perfect ! The lodge is beautiful, and watching elephants and rhinos drinking water right in front of our porch was an incredible experience. Daniel and Marvin were fantastic, knowledgeable guides and our game drives were unforgettable ! Ahh, and the food was delicious ! I will definitely be back !

The food was excellent, the tents were clean and well appointed, the hosts and staff were friendly and made us feel welcome.

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal da und haben es erneut wahnsinnig genossen. Mn fühlt sich hier einfach wohl und man wird auch mit hervorragendem Essen verwöhnt. Die Zelte sind sehr komfortabel und die Umgebung ist ein Traum. Die Gamedrives haben uns gefallen und es wurde uns viel erklärt. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und können die Lodge zu 100% weiterempfehlen! Herzlichen Dank an das ganze Team.

Außergewöhnliches privates Ambiente mit Zelten direkt im Naturreservat. Sehr ästhetisch gestalteter Aufenthaltsbereich mit schönem Pool. Nachts ist alles mit Kerzen und Lichtern beleuchtet und nach dem Game Drive gibt es gemeinsames Lagerfeuer. Das Naturreservat ist super abwechslungsreich mit vielen Elefanten, Büffeln und Nashörnern. Löwen und Leoparden haben wir leider nicht gesehen, aber ihre Spuren.

Es ist eine sehr tolle Unterkunft. Ein großes Lob an Mowen und Damian für die wunderbaren Game Drives. Ein weiteres Highlight ist selbstverständlich die rundherum freie Sicht aufs Reserve (vor allem im Zelt). Die Geräuschkulisse in der Nacht macht den Aufenthalt einzigartig. Eine ganz klare Empfehlung, wer guten Service, hervorragendes Essen und eine Unterkunft sucht, bei der es sich anfühlt als wäre man eine kleine Familie.

The owners and the staff were fantastic - always around and eager to have a conversation or answer any questions. The food was great and the meals were with the owners and staff - very friendly and convivial. The safari drives were extremely well organized and the guides knowledgeable and good at the task.

Everything. Especially the way Laura, Mike and Moven bent over backwards to help us see the animals on our game drives. The cabins were very comfortable. The food was delicious, and was a nice slice of South African culture, too. We enjoyed the stories they shared with us during game drives and over dinner. This lodge and the people are very special.

Unlike many other lodges in this price range, Muweti is located right inside the reserve, which means you don’t have to waste time traveling and waiting in line every time you go on a game drive. The price includes two three-hour game drives per day and three delicious meals (I sampled more varieties of South African cuisine here than I did in a week in Cape Town), so it’s definitely worth the money. Most importantly, the atmosphere here is so warm and welcoming. Many thanks to Laura, Mike, and Damian—I’ve only been here for three nights, but you’ve already made me feel like family.

The wifi in the tent is really weak, so you’ll need to go to the common area to work on your laptop. But nobody comes here for that, right?

Amamos o atendimento do Mike e da Laura, foram super prestativos conosco. Minha mulher teve um pequeno problema de saúde e eles ficaram super preocupados e se disporam a nós dar medicação e a ir a farmácia ou médico. Os games são muito legais, Damiem é super dedicado e um ótimo rastreador. A alimentação é ótimo, saborosa, todos os dias cardápios diferentes com um contexto cultural e local. Com certeza voltaria mais vezes.

Boas refeições, relacionamento com os proprietários, funcionários muito gentis, calmo. Com certeza voltaremos.

A experiência foi simplesmente incrível, com safáris duas vezes ao dia que proporcionam um contato real e próximo com a vida selvagem. A alimentação é completa, preparada com muito carinho e atenção aos detalhes. O grande destaque vai para o atendimento excepcional do Sr. Mike, da Sra. Laura e do guia Mike, que tornam toda a experiência ainda mais especial. A acomodação é confortável e perfeitamente integrada à natureza, proporcionando uma vivência autêntica de safári.

Não houve nenhum ponto negativo durante a estadia.

Un lugar recomendado para vivir una full experiencia. Las tiendas son grandes, cómodas, hasta nos fueron a visitar elefantes a la terraza! Como son abiertas, la malla para la cama fue un éxito. Hay aire acondicionado por si hace calor, aunque nosotros no lo usamos. Mike y Laura son excelentes anfitriones, nos hicieron sentir como en nuestra casa, comimos muy rico, disfrutamos la piscina, compartimos las tardes en grupo y descansamos en medio de la naturaleza, hasta nos organizaron una comida para 2 por nuestra luna de miel. Son todos muy amables y atentos. Los game drive con Damian y Mike muy entretenidos, tuvimos la oportunidad de aprender de la flora y fauna y ver muchos animales cerca, es impresionante! Estamos muy agradecidos por todo y sin duda volveríamos a elegir este gran lugar.

Considerar que por estar en medio del parque el agua es un poco salada, pero uno se puede duchar sin problema y te dan un bidón para poder tomar agua.

Of all our safari experiences this lodge is consistently the best. The owners and staff are genuine and care deeply about their environment and the wildlife. Have you ever seen two lions stalk a waterbuck ? Well we now have. This was our second stay and will not be our last

We cannot even describe how great our stay was. The lodge is beautiful, the tents are huge and clean and so pretty. We had impalas in front of our private terrace, and even sure we missed elephants when we were out. Mike and Laura are such good hosts with great conversation at the dinner table and great care of their guest. Our rangers Damian and Mike were absolutely the best ! We saw so many animals, and they both have amazing tracking skills and knowledge of everything you find in the reserve, from plants to birds to animals and bugs. We learned so much during the game drives! We will definitely recommend staying there, thank you so much.

Wir hatten eine super Zeit in der Muweti Lodge mit tollen Pirschfahrten, super leckerem Essen und einem sehr komfortablen und sauberen Zelt. Mike, Hardus, Marvin und auch der Rest des Teams waren sehr bemüht, dass wir einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt hatten. Auch das gemeinsame Lagerfeuer am Abend hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Michael, Damian and the whole team were just incredible. From the moment we booked until the moment we needed to leave (due to the flooding of the area), they just gave their absolute best to show us this beautiful part of south africa. The game drives that we could do where amazing and you really felt the passion and love that these guys have for nature and especially for the animals. Can only recommend and hopefully be back soon 🫶🏼

Immersion complète dans la nature. Logements très confortables et au calme, bercés par les des animaux environnants. Le personnel est au petit soin avec ses invités (6 au +). Merci à Mike, Damian, nos 2 supers guides pour les safaris, passionnés par leur métier qu ils partagent de façon enrichissante avec leurs invités. Merci également à tout le reste du personnel pour la qualité des repas locaux et de la propreté des logements. Une expérience inoubliable, déconnexion totale au contact de la nature et des animaux qui y vivent (lions, éléphants, girafes, buffles, impalas, kudu et tous les autres. Allez y les yeux fermés, 😉

Fiquei em tres lodges na região de Hoedspruit, todos foram fantásticos, mas o lodge Muweti foi o que mais me trouxe imersão na savana . Mike foi um excelente anfitrião. Jantamos juntos com mais um casal de ingleses , Mike e seu Ranger Ivan. O lodge a noite é imersivo demais, o contato com os animais é incrível

Prachtige omgeving, midden in het park. Heerlijk eten en vriendelijke bediening. Rustige plek met mooi zwembad en fijne accommodatie. Mooie game drives inbegrepen.

Door de opzet van de accommodatie veel insecten in de tent. Als het regent is er niet veel plek om te zitten.

Alles aan dit verblijf was super. De game drivers waren afwisselend, waarbij we de hele nog 5 hebben gezien. Het verblijf was mooi. De maaltijden waren heerlijk en het personeel was super vriendelijk. Ik zou anderen zeker aanraden om hierheen te gaan!

The safari tent was well set up with a great bathroom. Lots of space including a deck that looks over a waterhole. Elephants often coming by.

I was the only one at the lodge surprisingly. Due to being on my own it would have been nice to have other safari goers there to have a chat with. I think it was quiet time when I went. Nothing the staff could do about that though obviously :) Would have also loved a spa close by to get a massage for between the game drives. Closest is 45 mins away and you need to book drivers well in advance.

Unbelievable place, I loved it. Muweti is beautiful and well kept, but it also feels completely unpretentious. The location is so peaceful, and the staff are really friendly and genuinely care about their guests having a great stay. The fact it's a small lodge meant the service feels very personal - even though I travelled alone it was fun being in a group with the other guests and staff for the meals and safaris. Great communication as well before my stay to make sure dietary requirements etc were taken into account. Special thanks to Damian, your game drives - and ability to spot all kinds of creatures, even in the dark -are amazing!

Es wurde bereits so viel Positives über die Muweti Lodge und die fantastischen Gastgeber Laura und Mike geschrieben – und wir können uns dem nur anschließen. Ein riesen Dankeschön an euch beide für diesen unglaublichen Aufenthalt! Wir haben schon viele Lodges während unserer Südafrika-Reisen besucht, aber hier haben wir so viel mehr bekommen als „nur“ Game Drives, hervorragendes Essen, ein super bequemes Bett, einen wunderschönen großen Pool, zahlreiche Tiersichtungen direkt von der Terrasse bei einer Tasse Kaffee und sehr nette weitere Gäste (nie mehr als 6) - wir wurden für drei Tage wirklich in die Muweti-Familie aufgenommen – und dieses Gefühl war absolut einzigartig. Laura, Mike, wir kommen ganz sicher wieder und können es jetzt schon kaum erwarten. Danke für alles!

We hebben ontzettend genoten van onze drie dagen bij Muweti. Hardus, Mike en Marvin (en de rest van het Muweti team) doen er alles aan om je welkom te laten voelen en je mee te nemen in al het moois wat het Grietjie reserve te bieden heeft. We hebben ons vanaf het eerste moment welkom gevoeld en mede daardoor een onvergetelijke ervaring gekregen. De gamedrives, de lunch en het diner, en de algehele sfeer in de lodge: het was super. La vue

Malgré que l’emplacement est très beau et que les guides soient sympa, cet établissement est loin d’atteindre les 9,8/10 affiché sur booking!!! C’est bien trop cher pour ce que c’est (sans compter tous les suppléments qu’ils veulent vous faire facturer) et les boissons (non inclues évidemment) sont même plus chères qu’au resto (R80 pour un verre de vin rouge étiqueté “Muweti” vraiment pas bon—> on s’en serait bien passé!). De plus, vous n’aurez même pas accès à un frigo pour y mettre vos propres boissons, donc vous êtes forcés à consommer sur place. À côté de ça, les propriétaires sont malaisants et intrusifs : nous ne nous y sommes absolument pas senti “bien”! Sachez qu’une fois rentré dans ce lodge, vous vous y serez comme dans une prison, vous ne pourrez plus en sortir et vous n’aurez rien à faire entre les game drive. Vous vous retrouverez à vous isoler dans votre tente car chaque moment passé avec les propriétaires est désagréable, ils vous poussent à raconter votre vie et vous posent des questions gênante (“quelle a été l’épreuve la plus dure dans votre boulot?”) De plus, alors que c’est très peu visible sur les photos et la description (inscrit comme “chalet” ou “tented chalet”), sachez que vous dormirez dans une tente. Vous aurez une climatisation comme indiqué mais, contrairement à la manière de penser du proprio, il m’est impensable d’activer une climatisation dans une tente (et oui Mike, contrairement à ce que tu dis, l’être humain a bien un impact considérable sur la planète et on se doit ne ne pas faire n’importe quoi!) Finalement, les équipements sont vieillissant : chasse qui coule, ventilateur qui fait du bruit, calcaire dans le robinet,… Bref, on ne peut que vous déconseiller cet endroit car vous trouverez bien mieux ailleurs, comme tous les autres logement que nous avons fait en Afrique du Sud (et pour bien moins cher!!)

We loved the intimity of that bush lodge which allowed to be close to the owners who answered all our questions about flora & fauna as well as the country itself and many other interesting issues.

Wir durften zwei Tage Teil der Muweti Familie sein. Bei Ankunft wurden wir von Laura, Mike und den zwei Rangern herzlich begrüßt. Die "Zelte" sind mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet und komfortabel. Die Game drives sind ein wirkliches Erlebnis und wir lernten viel über die Tierwelt. Wir sahen Giraffen, Elefanten, Löwen uvm... Das essen lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir sind dankbar das wir das miterleben durften und kommen bestimmt wieder.

Mike and Laura were wonderful hosts and welcomed us like good friends . The game drive tour leaders, Hardup and Morven were amazing . Incredible knowledge of the animals, birds and topography of the park. We stayed four nights and saw everything we wanted to see and more . Thank you

Eine super Lodge mit tollen Game Drives, bei dem man äußerst nahe an die Big 5 heran kommt. Auch unser 5. Aufenthalt in der Muweti Bush Lodge war wieder ein besonderes Erlebnis. Gastgeber Laura, Mike und Hardes sorgen für unbeschreibliche Erlebnisse.

Meine Frau und ich haben eine Zeit in der Muweti Bush Lodge erleben dürfen, die sich mit Worten nur schwer beschreiben lässt. Unsere Lodge war sehr sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet. Das Bett war wirklich groß und äußerst bequem. Alles war mindestens so toll, wie es auf den Bildern aussieht… dennoch können Fotos kaum vermitteln, wie schön es ist, hier seine Zeit verbringen zu dürfen. Die Lodges liegen mitten im Busch. Für uns war es ein unglaublich tolles und auch aufregendes Gefühl, beim Einschlafen den Geräuschen der umgebenden Natur lauschen zu können. Doch das was unsere Zeit in der Muweti Bush Lodge so besonders gemacht hat waren nicht nur diese so liebevoll eingerichteten Lodges. Es waren vor allem die tollen Menschen an diesem Ort: Laura und Mike waren sehr sympathische und zudem überaus fürsorgliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Zusammen mit Hardus, Niall und James machten sie unsere Zeit bei ihnen zu einem Geschenk. Genau so habe ich es nämlich empfunden, da ich während meines Aufenthalts mit meiner Frau, dem liebenswerten Muweti-Team und 3 sehr netten Gästen einer anderen Lodge (Liebe Grüße nach Holland liebe Ina, Muriel und Mike^^) meinen 48. Geburtstag feiern durfte. In wunderschönen Ambiente trafen wir uns abends am Lagerfeuer und einmal sogar beim gemeinsamen Braii und haben den Tag mit einem Glas Wein in der Hand ausklingen lassen. Kurz darauf sind wir dann vom Feuer an einen großen Tisch zum Abendessen gelaufen. Ich weiß, dass zubereitete Fleisch schmeckte fantastisch und doch haben auch wir als Vegetarier auch sehr lecker gegessen. Einfach klasse, dass unserem Wunsch nach fleischlosen Essen auf so köstliche Weise entsprochen wurde. Abends sprachen wir über die Erlebnisse während unserer Game Drives und jede Menge anderer Sachen. Die Begegnungen mir den Tieren (z.B. Elefanten und Löwen) hatten etwas Magisches. Gerade die Tatsache, dass es keine Garantie gab, ob und welche Tiere wir sehen, machten die Game Drives am Morgen und Abend so aufregend.

Die Muweti Lodge war ein traumhafter Start in unsere Reise. Die erste Safari-Erfahrung in einem solch familiären Umfeld zu geniessen, war traumhaft. Die Game Drives werden von sympathischen und erfahrenen Guides durchgeführt und danach gabs jeweils ein Abendessen gekocht über dem Lagerfeuer. Mit etwas Glück konnten wir sogar Giraffen vom Pool aus beobachten. Zusammengefasst eine perfekte Game Lodge.

Een fantastische locatie in het Grietjie gebied in een sprookjesachtige omgeving, verblijf een DIKKE 10, Gamedrive's waren elke (2 x per dag) dag een "Out of Africa" beleving zoveel gezien dankzij Mike en Neil niets was hun te veel; perfecte uitleg en altijd op zoek naar.....waardoor ik en mijn reisgenoot ZOVEEL dieren hebben gezien: Leeuwen met hun welpjes, Olifanten met jong, Neushoorns, Zebra's, Giraffen, Baboo's / apen, Krokodillen, Hippo, Jakhals, Zeearend, diverse bijzondere vogels, Parelhoen in grote getallen, Impala, Wrattenzwijn, Luipaard, Hyena, Antilope, Steenbok, Koedoe, en zoveel meer dit is een verblijf waar ALLES klopt! Baie Dankie Mike & Laura & Team voor al jullie goede zorgen, het heerlijke eten wat elke avond met het open vuur een feestje was met het lekkers als "straf" op het eind ☻☺Wij hebben genoten, het verblijf in de tent op palen had een prachtig uitzicht en heerlijke bedden alles elke dag tip-top schoon, goed toilet met een heerlijke douche kortom: MUWETI met zijn eigenaren en Team verdienen een DIKKE TIEN plus !!*****

Niets viel echt tegen, als ik tips zou mogen geven zou ik iets meer willen kunnen doen tussen de maaltijden en safari's in.

We stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights and had an absolutely wonderful time at Muweti Bush Lodge. This is truly a place where you can unwind completely, with everything perfectly taken care of. From the very first moment, we felt at home: owner Mike together with the rangers, welcomed us warmly upon arrival. The accommodation is spotless and very comfortable, with the rooms cleaned and prepared neatly every day. This attention to detail made our stay extra pleasant. The game drives were an adventure in themselves. You never know what you’re going to encounter, which makes every drive exciting and unique. Thanks to the knowledge and enthusiasm of rangers Hardus and Niel, we learned so much about the area and its wildlife. Hardus’ personal stories such as how he once had cheetahs living in his house were truly fascinating. On top of that, he turned out to be an excellent cook, making the shared meals even more special. Owners Mike and Laura, together with their team, make sure everything runs smoothly. You are completely taken care of here, so all you need to do is enjoy, relax, and experience. With only three rooms available, the lodge is very intimate, which also means that the game drives are small and personal. This creates a truly exclusive experience. All in all, Muweti is a place we would love to return to. Highly recommended for anyone looking for warm hospitality and a unique safari adventure. The best part was when the elephants, drawn by the heat, came to visit the lodge. It was an incredible experience. And of course, every day is different with the animals, you never know what you’ll see. But one thing is certain: it will be special.

An amazing stay in the bush. Our tent was very comfortable and cozy, as was the bed and we had a great shower. The entire property is spotlessly clean. All you need is provided, and more. The crew and owners are amazing! Such friendly and knowledgeable people. The food was excellent. We loved the game drives, the relaxing at the pool watching the elephants drinking from the waterholes, and the birds, squirrels and bushbok in the yard. In the night we heard and saw hyenas at our waterhole from the tent. We were very sad to leave, and are looking forward to going back in the future.

This is the most beautiful place to spend time. We loved our chalet, it was a real bush life experience but it was cosy, clean and luxurious. We loved seeing the animals from our balcony and listening to them as we fell asleep. The staff are truly outstanding. We felt so taken care of. Our room was spotless and serviced every day. We were transferred to and from the airport and they even set up a special dinner to celebrate our honeymoon with Muweti bubbles! The food was delicious and it was such a treat to sit around the fire and have Hardus and Niel cook for us. They are both amazing guides and we learnt so much from them, from Valeria as well! Thank you to the whole team for making our first safari unforgettable. We will definitely be back!

Excellent camp layout with a great view of the Bush. The permanent Tented accommodation is classic glamping with a large space and even a bathtub with a bush view. The tents are quite private and located to maximize the in the Bush feel. Very well designed with a great combination of being safe to move around at night but not feeling fenced in. Great pool and deck area. Very good meals and lots of interaction with the guides. We will be back.

Beautiful location in the middle of nature. The tents are very comfortable, the food is super delicious, de evening braai is an extraordinary experience. It was great to sit around the fire in the evening and chat with the other guests. A tip: if you're there in winter, be sure to bring warm clothes!

Todos que nos atenderam eram muito atenciosos. O espaço é lindo e bem cuidado, dá pra ver os animais do quintal. Os safáris foram incríveis, as refeições deliciosas, fizeram pratos vegetarianos para nos atenderem. Foi tudo ótimo.

Era inverno e estava bem frio. Foi um pouco desconfortável tomar banho, pois o espaço é aberto e não tem aquecedor. Imagino que não seja um problema em outras épocas do ano, pelo contrário, é bem charmosa a suíte. O transfer até o aeroporto foi caro, fica a 1hora e 30min de distância.

Location in the greater Kruger is super for game drives, which are twice a day. We saw elephants, lions, giraffes and a leopard in front of the accommodation. The food was fresh and super tasty. Great atmosphere in general. The games drives are twice a day and the guides do everything to spot the animals. The accommodation is small and therefore much social interaction with other guests and the guides.

Keep in mind that it could get cold during the winter time, eventhough the staff does everything to make your stay comfortable with extra blankets and hot water bottles, we underestimated the temperature.

We had a delicious braai the one night but the rest of the food was quite average.

Everything was soo good! We loved every bit of it. Hardus was the perfect host. The view out of your room is amazing and we saw a lot of animals near our room. The game drives were a lot of fun and we spotten 4 out of the 5 from the big 5. The big highlight was two lions walking next to the jeep.

What an incredible experience at Muweti. We were hosted by Audrey and our guide Neil. They were both extremely kind and really took good care of us. The room was spacious and comfortable with all amenities you'd expect. The property is well-kept and with only 3 lodges it maintains a calm aura. The food was absolutely spectacular - the kitchen really works wonders. Our day always began with a morning game drive, followed by breakfast, some free time, lunch, and then an afternoon game drive. We rounded off with a sit by the fire and then dinner and drinks. Everything was very well coordinated and efficient. The game drives were super. Not only did we see a lot of animals and birds (Muweti is located inside a private reserve), but the level of knowledge that Neil had was unreal. We learned a lot about the behaviors, habits, and physiology of many animals, birds and even trees from Neil. He's young, talented, and very funny so the game drives were incredibly fun. We'd go back to Muweti in a heartbeat - it was a great experience.

Everything was just perfect! If you're looking for a nice stay with awesome gamedrives, good food and friendly rangers. Don't look further, this is the perfect place. We want to come back and enjoy the nature, food, good accomodation and the friendly staff!

Amazing, ok I'll start with the Lodge itself before we get onto the encounters! This place was everything we hoped for and more! The accommodation rooms were amazing, everything you need. We have come in June during the winter, with the idea being that the shrub is gone and we have the best chance of close up encounters with The Big 5, so it's quite cold, my favourite part was the hot power showers and long hot baths, but the food they was always amazing every morning, lunch and dinner, sitting by the fire in the evenings after, lovely. Also just nice little touches like giving you and hot water bottle in the evening an hour before you go to bed, you are just really looked after at this place. In terms of our experience in the reserve, well that was amazing too, we had 5 days here, and because you're in the bush rather than out in the open parks, the sightings are more like close up encounters, a Pride of Lions walked slowly right past our jeep and when they had gone, we drove round the corner and met them at the water hole they were heading too, this was just after seeing them in a brief hunting chase, it was an other worldly experience and that was just 1 of many. Finally, the guides are amazing and they're on the radio to each other meaning you get a much bigger chance of the sightings and encounters. Our guide was Neil, this lad has the eyes of an eagle, he can spot a needle in a haystack and then get you there for a close up, he has the patience of a Saint, very knowledgeable and answering all of our 100 hundred+ questions, and he has the strength of a donkey, he's young, so physically these Jeep rides are nothing to him, he'll take you on Game Drive after Game Drive after Game Drive, and he's an excellent driver too, so can move around very carefully and slowly too if you prefer. We also met the other guide and he was amazing too, so you're in very safe hands whoever you get.

My husband and I spent 3 amazing days there. The place and our room were so quiet and peaceful, all the meals were perfect and also loved our routine there. Our game drive guide Nial was amazing, friendly and gave us full of information about the animals we found, gave us space to take as many photos as we wanted. We also loved Audrey, she was so kind and attentive, always making sure we were comfortable. The whole staff truly made a huge different in our stay at Muweti. Thank you all!

The staff was great and really made us feel at home. Since the group size was small, it almost felt like a very private experience. Being a vegetarian, I was skeptical about the food options but I was surprised with how well the vegetarian food was prepared as well. Hardus is a versatile guy with almost all the skills.

I was surprised to know that the price of the drinks was charged separately even for the ones served on the safari and with the dinner. This should be clearly mentioned somewhere instead of it being a surprise at the end. Also, the safari timings should be made more stricter, delaying the safari while waiting for the guests arrival is not fair to the other guests. The quality of safari experience degrades as the amount of sunlight decreases. So we should try to start on time.

An absolutely unforgettable stay. Hardus and Neil were exceptional hosts - genuinely welcoming, attentive, and accommodating to every need. The setting is breathtaking, with all the wildlife you could hope to see right on your doorstep. On a couple of mornings we had elephants stroll past our balcony! The intimate dinners around the fire were a real highlight - delicious meals paired with interesting conversations with Hardus and Neil about their experiences and the local wildlife. It made the entire experience feel truly personal and special.

Everything about Muweti is truly special. The accommodation, food, game drives and beautiful people. I had an amazing 4 days in wonderful company and had the life affirming experience of seeing the world's most beautiful creatures in their natural environment. Thank you to Hardus for your knowledge, expertise and professionalism on the game drives....and for the perfectly cooked ostrich steak! And thank you to Audrey for being you and being the most perfect hostess. My time at Muweti will live long in my memory. Do not hesitate to stay here...it will absolutely exceed your expectations ❤️

The staff made us feel like family. Audrey, Neil, Harduus, everyone was extremely friendly and took excellent care. The food was delicious. Many elephants visited the waterhole during our stay. The game drives are thrilling and the guides very knowledgeable.

Wifi was weak in our room, but very good near the pool.

It was an unbelievable experience to lay in the pool and see elephants coming by to drink at the waterhole. The owners and guides have been exceptional - we felt like being part of the family and can only highly recommend this small and wonderful lodge in the Greater Kruger.
