Einfach alles an dieser Unterkunft war toll. Angefangen bei der Lage der Unterkunft mitten in den Catlins, über die herzliche Begrüßung, die absolute Privatsphäre, die gewährt wird, bis hin zur geschmackvollen Einrichtung und der Ausstattung der Küche. Kein „zusammengesammeltes Porzellan“ sondern alles ist harmonisch aufeinander abgestimmt. Der Whirlpool ist der Hit - wirklich tolle Massagedüsen und der Blick schweift dabei über die Hügel und Wiesen der Catlins. Hier wird sich wirklich bemüht, den Gästen eine unvergessliche Zeit zu bereiten!

Beautiful peaceful location with sheep as neighbours. Great roomy parking. Very comfortable adult bed. Lovely travel cot set up for baby & they kindly provided us with toy building blocks also which was so kind.

Perhaps my misunderstanding but I had been expecting a spa pool/ hot tub as per the Booking.com pictures but not in cabin we had.

Perfect location, very peaceful with fantastic views across the valley. Facilities were great and Tracy and Mike were excellent hosts and good company. Wished we had stayed longer.

Wonderful place - will be back. Well fitted out, great environment. Huge room with lots of options built into how different users / groups might use it - from families to friends and solo travellers. Staff were great and so helpful

Location was great. Nice and quiet. Beautiful view out over the paddocks and no light pollution, so could easily see the night sky. Accomodation had everything we needed. Cosy. Great not having a TV too.

Beautiful surroundings we felt completely immersed in the New Zealand native bush, you can tell the property is well taken care of by the hosts, which as a kiwi i really appreciate. Loved listening to the native birds in the morning and the rustle of the trees in the wind, and looking up at the stars from our private spa, a completely relaxing experience.

the location wasn’t far from river ridge. beautiful looking out onto green rolling hills.

internet wasn’t working until the next morning. Couldn’t even find the router under one of the beds. easy fix though. just couldn’t communicate with anyone about wedding details.

Our cabin, Kaku, surrounded by trees and birdlife, overlooked rolling green fields dotted with sheep and the surrounding hills. It was so peaceful. Within 2 minutes walk were magical forest paths lined with magnificent tree ferns, crown ferns and undisturbed vegetation. The cabin was beautifully decorated, and contained books on the area, games, a well equipped small kitchen with a barbecue on the balcony. The old house on the estate was built in the 1920s and creates a feeling of timelessness. The owners helpfully supplied local history and tourist information and were so welcoming. We would have happily stayed longer in this unique oasis of tranquility and nature and would recommend it to anyone who appreciates these special qualities.

A warm, clean and cozy cottage, in an absolutely beautiful and tranquil setting! A warm and helpful reception - and a quiet and private venue... :) I would highly recommend it to anyone!

This property is absolutely stunning. The location is fabulous with amazing view and only the sound of sheep and birds. Well equipped with everything you need and a very comfortable bed. There is also a great BBQ out on the deck.

Great host who was very helpful. Cottage was very clean and had all amenities. No tv was a disappointment to one of us but did mean I got my book read! 😃 a wonderful quiet environment with beautiful native Bush walks. The native birds were a real treat. The scenery was over beautifully manicured farmland.

The view is amazing! We had a fabulous time. The cabin is warm. We loved the extra snuggle blankets and wrapped up in them to watch shooting stars on the deck at night. Everything was clean. The kitchen is user friendly. It was great to have the coffee maker as there is nowhere close for a real coffee. We had fun playing board games, that was a lovely touch. The hosts are super friendly. We absolutely loved our stay, thank you so much!

A quiet and seclude location with impressive views.

Absolute quietness and views. Very clean and excellent location.

Beautiful location. One tip-- don't necessarily follow GPS which can take you over a lot of back roads to get there.

The cottage we had at this property was comfortable and well-equipped. Being some way out in the country the outlook over farmland was very peaceful with the only sound to be heard that of birdsong. Not having a TV was great (no temptation to watch mindlessly); the only minor downside being the lighting could have been a bit brighter to make reading easier.

This property is well off the beaten path, but for us was well worth it! Jill and Lynden are wonderful hosts a Jill is a marvelous chef, salmon was awsome!

It was peaceful overlooking a paddock of sheep with bush all around and no one else in sight. It was well worth travelling off the beaten track.

A hidden place, very clean and well mentained. The perfect place to relax.

The resort is in a self contained area of bush several kilometers off the main road. We had an individual cabin a hundred meters from anyone else, that looked out of rolling hills and farmland. The cabin had a full kitchen and was very comfortable. There was no TV, which actually added to the peaceful, serene nature of the accommodation. The owners were extremely nice and helpful. They made us an excellent dinner (driving back in to town for dinner is a bit of a drive, and only a couple cafes in Owaka). I wish we could have stayed more than one night, and taken advantage of the bush walks and relaxation.

街から遠く離れた広い敷地の中のコテッジ。敷地内にはハイキングコースのような散歩道があり、全部歩くと2時間以上かかる。羊の群れや綺麗な山並みをみながら林の中を歩くのは何とも気持ちが良い。コテッジ内は広々としていて特にWi-Fiがサクサクと快適につながるのは爽快。チェックアウトも11時なので朝もゆっくりできる。
