Was a beautiful hotel. Location for us was good. Room was good and clean.

That the staff at reception can't speak or understand English.

В целом сам отель неплохой: приятный интерьер, есть бассейн, неплохой завтрак с яичницей, колбасками, овощами и блинчиками. Лучшее в отеле это персонал.

Ужасно грязно! Постельное белье и полотенца желтого цвета, хотя должны быть белыми. Это очень испортило впечатление. Со всем остальным можно смириться: плохое расположение, ужасные рестораны, плохие магазины. Но грязное постельное белье и полотенца это ужасно.

Our towels were disgusting. Super old and lots of dark yellow stains on. Luckily we had our own towel with us. Little coffee table in room was broken. One leg just fell off if you touched the table. Breakfast room is big and vibe very weird. In booking.com breakfast time is 6.30-9:30, -first morning we arrived 7.10 on they just started cooking things and putting coffee out. Next morning we went 9:10 and everything was already cleaned. Pool on the rooftop was also dirty and water not clean. Didn't saw any other costumers, felt like ghost town :)

Đã đến, đã nghỉ, và hài lòng. mình có đặt 4 loại phòng ở đây, nói chung là xứng đáng với giá tiền, bữa sáng ổn, nhẹ nhàng nhưng đầy đủ cho mọi lựa chọn.

Mình đi vào cuối mùa du lịch, có thể vì thế mà 1 số phòng đã xuống cấp, nhưng đấy ko phải vấn đề vì ks chủ động đổi phòng mới cho mình

A hotel offering a spacious and unobstructed ocean view

The staffs are so friendly, and also professional. The hotel have a really nice view to the beach and the whole city.

The buffet line is not so diverse. But it doesn’t bother me much. Every dish is wonderful.

The city views from the room are absolutely breathtaking, especially at night. The rooftop pool was a highlight, and having a pool table (which I forgot to take a picture) added a great touch for evening entertainment. High-quality facilities and a cozy/ family-oriented atmosphere

For a lazy creature like me (accepting every walk within under 800 meters), it’s a bit of a long trek to the beach if you're planning to walk.

Perfect central location, easy walk to everything. Clean, spacious rooms. Loved the rooftop pool and free breakfast. Stunning views and a relaxing balcony. Super friendly staff, very helpful and welcoming. Great value.

thực đơn bữa sáng ít món và không có sự thay đổi thực đơn nên ăn tới bữa thứ 3 là ngán, nhà tắm và wc chật hẹp, cách bố trí nhà tắm và nhà vệ sinh không phù hợp, người tắm bên trong dễ bị nhìn thấy mặc dù có kính mờ (phòng 503), phòng này nếu là các cặp tình nhân đang yêu hoặc vơ chồng trẻ chưa có con thì sẽ thích hợp hơn. so với các khách sạn ở khu vực miền trung và miền nam cùng tầm giá thì không bằng nhưng cũng không đến nỗi tệ

We were told bus was 9am, then told it would be here 20 mins early- this was only 10 minutes before, this didn’t really allow us sufficient time to pack - just think the communication could be a little better.

À préciser d'abord, il y a un ascenseur. Le personnel est courtois et accueillant. Ils nous ont aidé à planifier notre séjour et notre transport. La communication était simple. La chambre était propre, les déjeuners variés et lieu tranquille. Je le recommande à tous!

The location is good, close to many local restaurants, the room was clean and comfortable, staff very helpful and the bed was good. Given the vast choice and explosion of hotels in Bai Chay recently, I'm not sure if we'd stay here again.....

This was my third time staying here at The Light in Bai Chay, near Ha Long City. The first two times were great, but unfortunately this time was a bit disappointing. Why? In the first room, we had to go and ask for the air-con remote, only to discover that the air-con didn't work. Thankfully, they gave us the opportunity to move room, which we did, the next day. However, once again, the air-con did not work in the new room. Although they gave us the chance to move room again, it was too much bother to pack up and move, yet again. Also, the breakfast was not as good as I recall. The fried eggs were cooked to within an inch of their life and were like rubber. There was no sliced bread to put in the toasters, only buns. We inquired and were told that the owner only buys that kind of bread. Only Vietnamese coffee was available. It's OK, but another option would be appreciated as not everyone can stomach Vietnamese coffee. The staff have breakfast at the same time as the guests, making it uncomfortable if you have to ask them for something as I felt I was disturbing them.

We stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a basic breakfast included to start the day. The hotel is conveniently located near several local restaurants, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were exceptionally helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The Wi-Fi speed was reliable and fast—no complaints there. One thing to note: the hotel is located near a hill, which could be challenging for those with mobility issues, so keep that in mind when planning your visit.

A very good place i would like to come back whenever im at Ha Long Bay. Kinda like how good it was even tho it just a standard room at cheap price. Couldn't ask too much cause you get what you pay for! Besides, they also provide laundry services and tours around the bay which is pretty good and convenient! Good location, the food was amazing, and specially thanks to all of the friendly and helpful Receptionist at the front desk. They're served!

No Pool!!! I just booked this hotel because of the rooftop pool. Even the area around is dirty and not usable. They could clean it. That you could at least enjoy the sunset from the rooftop. Breakfast not much variety.

The room is downstairs and the window overlooks the wall of another house 10 centimeters away. No good view and little light, but if you are only staying at the hotel, then there are no problems.

The location is perfect and the staff are very helpful and pleasant.
