L’insonorisation. On entendait clairement nos voisins de chambres, par exemple pour leur transfert à l'aéroport ce qui nous a réveillé tôt le matin.

Riad L'Emir situated in the heart of Medina, but the place is very quite and easily accessible. The typical Moroccan breakfast was served on the beautiful rooftop terrace; mint tea was served upon request during day and evening in the patio or on rooftop terrace. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I would add some hooks or hangers for towels in bathroom.

Nous avions privatisé le Riad pour le week-end car nous fautions un anniversaire donc nous avions prévu de ne dérangé personne malheureusement ça n’a pas plus au veilleur de nuit avec un comportement très limite

Location is very good. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and always attentive, making sure you feel comfortable at all times. A special mention to Hichan who was lovely, the cook very nice woman, to the night staff member, who was always kind and attentive. Breakfast very nice too! We will come back

The location was excellent, very close to the city center and within walking distance. The breakfast was good. The rooms were large and had like a Riad atmosphere, you can feel it. There was no noise around the riad, and it was generally quiet inside. The riad's design was very pleasant and well-decorated. The staff were helpful and friendly. I'd especially like to thank Zakaria for his exceptional service and help.

Le personnel a été plus que parfait, aux petits soins tout au long du séjour. L’emplacement est top à proximité de la place. Les chambres sont propres le petit déjeuner fait maison est excellent. Le personnel est disponible à n’importe quelle heure, de jour comme de nuit. Si nous revenons à marrakech nous reviendrons ici !

Literie légèrement trop dure, et soucis d’insonorisation dans les chambres

Wszystko było na najwyższym poziomie, czystość, obsługa, śniadanie. Pokój był sprzątany codziennie, ręczniki także codziennie były wymieniane. Obsługa bardzo dbała o nasz komfort, gdy siedzieliśmy na tarasie proponowali herbatę i poczęstunek, jak przyszliśmy z własną wodą od razu dostaliśmy szklanki, gdy korzystaliśmy z basenu Pan z obsługi od razu przychodził włączyć w basenie światła i muzykę dla większego relaksu. Czuliśmy się bardzo zaopiekowani, pokojów w Riadzie jest niewiele więc jest bardzo komfortowo, nie ma tłumów, siedząc w basenie lub na tarasie czuliśmy się jak w prywatnym Riadzie. Serwowane rano śniadanie jest świeże, smaczne i regionalne. Wspaniale spędziliśmy czas, w 100% polecamy to miejsce, sami gdybyśmy mieli wrócić do Marakeszu to tylko tutaj. Lokalizacja Riadu jest bardzo korzystna, kilka minut spaceru i można zwiedzać najbardziej popularne atrakcje.

Very convenient location, very friendly staff. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was good, but without any veggies :( I liked that they change towels every day, since they don't dry easily. The beds are comfortable and good size.

Ventilation of the room can be problematic at times

The breakfast was lovely, and the bed was very spacious and comfortable. We were on the ground floor so the only thing was it felt as if we couldn’t really speak without people hearing us.

This place was our peaceful retreat in the bustling heart of Marrakesh—a truly tranquil and beautiful spot. Hisham, Hamid, and Amina took wonderful care of us, making us feel right at home. Their warm hospitality made this place truly special. Amina’s food is incredible! Be sure to ask her to prepare dinner—you won’t regret it. And the breakfast? Absolutely delicious! The rooftop is stunning, perfect for a relaxing morning or a peaceful evening. We absolutely loved this place—it made our visit unforgettable. Thank you all!

A quiet refuge hidden away from the buzz of motorcycles and mopeds that race wildly through the Medina. We requested dinner at the Riad a couple of times and it was some of the best food we had during our stay in Morocco. Breakfast is included and always reliably good. The chef could easily open her own restaurant. She’s very talented. And the gentleman who manages the property was so kind and helpful.

The split to heat or cool the room was a bit noisy and took some time getting used to. The location seemed a little scary at first because it takes you through some shady looking streets to get there but it’s really quite charming. Also the noise travels within the Riad so I advise bringing ear plugs.

The property was in a good location. Really nice and clean. Lovely staff.

We arrived at 7pm at the riad yet after waiting till 10pm we were forced to stay elsewhere as there was no availability. They then placed us in another riad for one night promising me they’ll have a room available for the rest of the stay. The next morning they told us this wasn’t the case and they still don’t have availability. Yet they would be able to host us at another hotel free of charge. So we agreed as we had no other choice even though this hotel was a 20 minute drive away they promised they would sort transport in out and of the main square. Of course this wasn’t the case also, I had to pay for taxis every day to get in and out of the centre because the one time we did use there transport we was basically scammed he charged me a ridiculous amount when I was under the impression it was free. I also used the same driver for a trip to the dessert after we agreed on a price for 300 dirhams which seemed reasonable. But after the trip he was adamant that it was actually 300 euros and I had no choice but to pay. Even though it was in writing that it was 300 dirhams. On top of this, after our stay I wasn’t only charged for the staying at the riad but also the stay at the hotel after I was promised it was free. Completely scammed the whole trip.

The best part of the place is how nice the staff is.

Eveyone was friendly and welcoming. Very helpful and accommodating with the room changes we needed. Breakfast was fantastic and freshly made.

It's a pity the baths in the rooms can't be used for bathing, just showering.

All the staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had an exceptional stay. They went out of their way to ensure our dietary requirements were catered to.

This Riad has the perfect location for roaming the city. Djeema el Fna is only a few minutes away. It is located in a nice quiet side alley. Shops and restaurants, snack stations, patisserie are nearby. The room and the bathroom were spacious and very clean (cleaned and fresh towels everyday). Theres an aircondition, that can also be used as a heater (quite convenient in winter). Breakfast was tea, coffe, orange juice, jam, honey, cheese, brad, pancake, crepe - a good way to start your day. Good wifi! The hosts were really welcoming, nice and friendly.

The room, the reception, the services and the breakfast. Everything so good! People of the staff always very kind. A corner of peace and relax, really necessary to face the crowd of Marrakech. We have bought the same incense of the reception to relax also at home 😉

Great welcome and staff

Room was right next to the reception with little privacy. The windows open on to the reception area and we hear all that is said.

Very nice reception, beautiful rooms and an amazing roofop. Wifi works well and staff is very polite and helpful. Location is perfect, in the heart of the Marrakesh medina and only 4 minutes away from Jemaa Fna square. Overall, very recommended.

Breakfast is good, but not a lot to choose. Room was a bit cold at nights.

Servicio e instalaciones de hotel gran lujo, el personal es encantador y servicial, desayunos caseros deliciosos, habitación y cama comodísimas. El último dia nuestro avión salia de noche y nos dejaron la habitación todo el día (no había reservas). También es restaurante bajo demanda, Amina prepara unas cenas deliciosas para disfrutar en una terraza de ensueño. Un oasis en plena medina, a 100m de la plaza Jemaa el-Fna.

Mitten in der Medina gelegen. Hübsche Zimmer, alle ca. gleich groß was für ein Riad außergewöhnlich ist. Gutes Frühstück, besonders aufmerksamer Service. Sehr zu empfehlen.

We enjoyed our stay in this awesome Riad. Breakfast was good, our room was awesome and spacious. The room was cleaned every day - and the service was tiptop. The location of Riad was great, only few minutes from Jnee square.

Charming Riad close to the main square and therefore easy to find once you get your bearings. Staff are pretty poor and tho the surroundings are comfortable they don't make you feel too relaxed. And whatever you do don't ask them to book a taxi for you, you will be ripped off!

Nice hotel in a great location. Not the most cheerful staff and rather unhelpful in finding a taxi (over priced) to the train station. Riad phone rang 4 times in the middle of the night, no apology

I booked this riad and received a confirmation for it. On the day of the reservation, my friend and I had the most difficult time locating this riad. We were dragging our luggages up and down and all around for almost an HOUR!! We attempted to have locals help us but they were not clear. We called the riad to ask for help with directions but they were not able to help us due to a language barrier (English). We finally found it after going into an alley of shops and into another random alley which was filled with a group of men. Did not feel safe at all. When we finally arrived, the worker was stalling. He was friendly but did not get straight to the point. After about 20 minutes, we found out there was no room for us. They had accidentally overbooked the hotel. It was a terrible experience. Luckily I am getting my refund back.

Delightful Riad situated an easy walk to Jamaa El Fna Square. Several times when we were laden with parcels we booked a Tuk Tuk to drive us to the Riad. Lovely staff. My French is not good but they spoke English and were helpful with our travel plans. Generous sized rooms with beautiful bathrooms. We used Riad L’Emir as our base and they kindly held our luggage until we returned. The linen was crisp and even embroidered with their name. Delicious breakfast was served each day on the rooftop. I wanted some washing done and that was arranged at a low charge. I would have no hesitation in recommending this charming Riad to anyone wanting to stay in Marrakech!

We travelled as two girls through Marrocco and had quite difficulties to find the Riad (other than some people wrote we were not contacted to be led to the Riad). When we finally found it we were told that out booking was without breakfast and that the Patron was not present. I presented my expedia booking reservation stating breakfast was included but this seemed to be a real challenge. The receptionist called the owner in Paris who said not to worry and they would organize breakfast for the next day at 7. But when we then came to the terrace where breakfast was supposed to be served the guy told us that the owner changed his mind showed me a screenshot of "no extras booked" and we decided to leave. I found this quite disappointing in service as a simple coffee would have been fine but this hassle was just unnecessary and annoying. You can hear the prayers sing from the rooms so on Saturdays you are woken up very early but it's part of the experience I feel. The rooms were clean and the view from the terrace is very nice.

It was a great location and excellent wifi. We were served a mint tea on arrival which was lovely. Overall the management were friendly and helpful. Our room was right besides the lounge room which was a bit unnerving. We had thought we had breakfast included, in accordance with our booking record, however the manager disputed this and we felt pressured to pay. We also asked the manager for assistance with taxis to the Casino however would only direct us to a restaurant and give us the business card. If we’re to stay again in Marrakech we would research what a riad was and posssibly choose a hotel instead.

Le riad est très bien situé. Très propre, avec un personnel attentionné, ce riad est un havre de paix. Nous reviendrons à Marrakech pour poursuivre notre découverte du Maroc. Nous n'avons plus besoin de chercher un endroit pour notre séjour. Nous savons désormais où nous loger.

The Riad facilities are nice. The terrace is peaceful. The location is convenient. The staff the night we arrived were awful. We clearly needed assistance and they did not help us. It made us feel unsafe. Very disappointing. We would not recommend staying here.
