Mango Beach Resort

Beautiful private resort next to the sea with your own personal beach and pool. Nice friendly staff. Very relaxing away from crowds. Clean and comfortable rooms. Delicious dining. Must stay if you like privacy and quiet evenings.

Die Hotelmangerin und auch das gesamte Personal war super! Sie hat perfekt englisch gesprochen und war jederzeit verfügbar wenn man etwas brauchte. Das Resort war sehr ruhig und schön.

Die Unterkunft und das Resort waren top, allerdings ist das Meer in Vietnam halt leider überall sehr dreckig und verschmutzt, aber das war im Prinzip überall auf der Insel so. In einigen Unterkünften wurde ein Netz gespannt damit der Müll nicht den Strand erreicht, aber das Gefühl bleibt leider. Aber wenn Vietnam dann ist dieses Resort empfehlenswert zum entspannen.

Locatie was prachtig ondanks geen BEACH, ontbijt was goed maar alles was vlug leeg, vb koffie, vruchtensap,... Q Als je veel geluk had, lag er MANGO!

Que le petit déjeuné coute si cher (200k) et par personne sans compté les boissons fait par la machine à café qui n est pas mentionné comme supplément à payer. Attention pour aller a l hotel il faut descendre des marches qui ne sont pas régulières pas de main courante pour tenir

Отсутствие пляжа и благоустройства и темнота

Een prachtige omgeving, goed ontbijtbuffet, zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Zeer lekkere lunch en diner… tegen goede prijzen.

Alles was prima!!

Lekker rustig plekje, mooi zwembad en omgeving en resort erg mooi. Personeel is heel erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk, alle lof. Harry is ook echte topper. Denk erom.. er is geen strand maar het zwembad maakt dat dan wel weer goed. Top plek om bij te komen van 6 weken trekken door Vietnam. Boek deze plek en kom tot rust…

Schoonmaken en dan vooral de badkamer en toilet mag beter. En meer kastruimte en dan geen kast in de badkamer zoals nu.

Wir waren sehr vom freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Service im Mango Beach begeistert. Auch die Anlage selbst ist sehr gepflegt und mit Sinn gestaltet.

Das einzige was man negativ erwähnen kann, ist der etwas schwierige Zugang zum Meer. Dieser könnte renoviert werden aber dafür wurde ja die kleine Lagune geschaffen, in welcher man ohne bedenken schwimmen kann.

Sehr schöne Hotelanlage in gutem Zustand in ruhiger Lage (Kleiner Supermarkt gegenüber). Sauberer Pool mit genügend Liegen. Zimmer sind sehr schön und sauber. Mamahund mit süßen Welpen vor Ort. Diese waren gepflegt und Menschen gegenüber nicht aufdringlich. Frühstück war sehr lecker und wurde schnell aufgefüllt. Personal war super nett und hilfsbereit.

Längerer Weg in die Stadt was für uns aber ein Pluspunkt war aufgrund der Ruhe.

The location is perfect, nestled away from the busy tourist hotspots, offering a peaceful environment for relaxing, leisurely days by the swimming pool. Enjoy beautiful mornings, a filling breakfast to start your day, well-maintained scooters ready for exploring, and friendly staff always there to make you feel at home.

Some facilities could use a bit of extra care. The room lacks a safe, which can be quite inconvenient for travellers. Extra pillows in the room would be a plus.

We stayed for 6 days in a beachfront bungalow. Great location if you just want a quiet place to chill by the pool, which is exactly what we wanted. None of the Island has great beaches or sea, but this side is marginally worse for sea swimming. However, more scenic and less built up. You can hire a scooter or get a grab to explore the rest of the island, but we did it one day and didn’t feel the need to do it again. Food was good and staff are absolutely lovely! The bed was a little hard. We asked for extra pillows. Had a great massage here too.

Nothing. Just don’t expect beaches like Thailand !

Nous avons séjourner dans deux hotels à coté (the pier et mango beach) et bien que les herbergements ne soient distant que d'un kilomètre nos expériences ont été bien différentes. Contrairement à the pier, tout s'est bien passé dans cet hotel. Il est bien entretenue, à l'écart des gros complexe hotelier, le personnel est au petit soin, la piscine est top et ensoleillé, les massage incroyable et le restaurant est de qualité également ... bref vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermé surtout si vous chercher un peu de calme et de tranquillité

le prix des chambres (mais global sur l'ile) est cher en comparaison des autres endroits au vietnam Le mango beach est isolé, ce qui ne nous à pas dérangé, mais il faut tout de même compter 30/40min pour aller dans la ville de phu quoc le soir et un taxi coute environs 10€ par trajet ce qui peut vite revenir cher.

Établissement calme et reposant

First, the friendliness and the availability of the whole staff, including the cleaning crew. Second, the location and the setup of the resort, away from everything and self-sustained. Tours and other activities are readily available for those who don't want to chill "away from everything". And third, the food is excellent, especially their "secret" Mango Rice :-)

No real beach, unfortunately. The shore is made of rocks. They do have their own lagoon but that doesn't make up for a real sandy beach. The pool is great and is the only real alternative to a dip in the ocean.

We liked this resort very much. Very secluded area, especially to rest after traveling. Food was good, reasonable portions and the price compared to other places. The reception personnel were great! Harry and Nancy very knowledgeable about the island, they always gave us good suggestions. We highly recommend this resort.

well breakfast started out being served and then switched to self serve buffet with less options and it seemed more busy at breakfast...my daughter and I both personally preferred being served breakfast of the menu

Les déchet juste à coter de l hôtel du coter des pêcheur , et les chien qui aboie la nuit je dormais mal a cause de sa . Mais bon je pouvais me reposer au bord de la piscine la journée. Et dommage pour la fausse plage c est un bassin d eau sale

Obiekt położony w zadbanym ogrodzie. W obiekcie cisza i spokój. Dobre miejsce na wypoczynek. Pokoje duże, wygodnie wyposażone, czyste, z lodówką wyposażoną w mini bar. Podobnie łazienki duże, przestronne, wygodne. Dla gości dostępne ręczniki, płyny do kąpieli, suszarka do włosów. Śniadanie bardzo dobre, obfite i smaczne. Kuchnia wyśmienita serwuje zawsze świeże dania. Obsługa sympatyczna, życzliwa, pomocna. W hotelu można płacić kartą lub gotówką. Odległość do lotniska to ok. 20 - 25 minut drogi samochodem, więc blisko.

Niewielkim problemem może być lokalizacja hotelu i jego odległość od innych atrakcyjnych miejsc na wyspie. Nie ma jednak problemu z wynajęciem taksówki. Przy hotelu nie ma plaży.

Location, the beach is not really swimmable, closest beach was 45 min away, distance from the town/bars war 45 min away.

L’emplacement, au calme sur la côte est de l’île, dans un paysage magnifique entre mer et montagne. Le personnel dynamique. Le restaurant, très bon. Les 4 nuits passées au resort ont été les meilleures de notre séjour à Phu Quoc.

Расстояние, оказалось очень далеко от юга и всех развлечений, примерно 50 минут езды на такси, соответственно и такси выходит очень дорого. Номерной фонд устаревший, т.е. за данные деньги можно снять чуть ли ни отель сети Винперл. Кстати кто не в курсе, в данном отеле нет моря, нигде об этом ни в одном отзыве не указано. Одни хвалебные оды. Если кто также как и мы едет впервые и не знает острова, то этот отель Вам явно не подойдет. В букинге информация не соответствует действительности. Там красивые фото лагуны, сделаны будто это пляж 🤦‍♀️ на что мы и купились. Плюс указано что есть своя лагуна, но это нельзя назвать лагуной, просто застоявшаяся вода где можно лишь поплавать на каяках, но никак не поплавать самим. Вода там зеленая. Поэтому будьте готовы к тому, что море увидите лишь с пирса, но и там не поплаваете, вокруг камни и вода очень грязная

Everything was amazing. The grounds, the pool, the beach area, the staff was very friendly and went above and beyond (especially Harry) and the food was really good.Absolutely Nothing to complain about. We really enjoyed our stay.

The location is fine if you want to get away for 1-2 days, (maximum) , unless you have your own wheels! Some dinner offerings were very tasty.

The name Beach Resort is misleading. There is NO beach, at or nearby! You can paddle in a man-made lagoon. The swimming pool smelly & overchlorinated. The noise of the children, when present, was unbearable. The Spa means 2 massage tables outdoors near the pool. As other guests have mentioned, the location is very far from the main town, any activities & beaches, so transport was a challenge & expensive. The quality of breakfast, the same offerings every day was disappointing. We mostly liked the coffee (when it was hot or warm, i.e.) & the limited fruit. The staff attitude & language skills were uneven.

Bardzo klimatyczne miejsce. Czuć naturę. Pokój przestronny. Śniadania dobre i duży wybor potraw. Basen czysty. Codziennie uzupełnieniany mini bar. Szczególne podziękowania dla Harrego i Luny za wzorowa opiekę nad gośćmi. W okolicy jeden fajny bar u Roriego.

Very nice and friendly hosts, beautiful facilities, exactly as described. Rooms are clean, pool and outdoor area very well maintained. Restaurant with good and reasonable priced food. Staff very friendly. Overall very good value for the money. Quite part of the island, perfect for some relaxing days.

As described by the property, plenty of stairs, but this was mentioned and is ok.

Excellent place for a family or a couple. The staff was friends and helpful, especially when asked for advice on the area. The restaurant on site does a nice buffet breakfast but also make is a great place to stay for other meals. They have a nice mix of asian and western dishes. Breakfast was a buffet with a mix of choices. The pool is clean with enough sun beds. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Also the free mini bar with a few drinks and snacks was a nice touch.

We had the best time during our holidays at Mango Beach Resort. The atmosphere and environment of this place are peaceful and inviting for chill vibes! The staff is amazing! They are always there to support us - special thanks to Luna and Harry, who with the team, made our stay extra special! The property restaurant is amazing! We had their garlic butter prawns almost every day, as they were so delicious! We couldn’t recommend this place enough!

A beautiful and peaceful resort with friendly and helpful staff. I stayed in one of the bungalows with a lovely view of the pool and sea, and really enjoyed taking in the view from my own terrace. The food was also excellent. If you like peace and quiet and idyllic surroundings, this is the place for you.

I deliberately chose this resort on the east side because it is not located in the crowded tourist hotspots. The disadvantage is that it has a rather rural/village character outside the resort and there is not much to do. But i like that quiet area. However, you can rent scooters to explore the island.

The location on the east is the hidden gem. The best resort on the island.

Das Resort ist wirklich ein kleines Juwel, für alle die, die Ruhe und Entspannung suchen. Die gesamte Anlage samt kleiner Bungalows war so wunderschön! :) Das Frühstücksbuffet war geschmacklich und optisch ein Traum!

Das Personal war zwar nett aber nicht sonderlich bemüht oder zuvorkommend. Wir haben mehrfach dünne Speiche bekommen, weil wir schon kurz nach 7h zum Frühstück gekommen sind, obwohl die Frühstückszeiten schließlich auch von 7h-10h waren…“typisch Deutsche“ hieß es dann. Das war nervig und unnötig. Harry hat meist sehr genervt und gelangweilt gewerkt und uns eher ein Gefühl gegeben, als wären wir als Gäste störend. Schade! Außerdem hat er uns hart bei den Taxikosten verarscht und abgezogen. Achtung: ihr könnt dort sehr wohl ein Grab bestelle! Für die Hälfte des Geldes, was das Resort von euch verlangt! Ohne Roller langweilt man sich aber nach 2-3 Tagen zu Tode ;) Leider hatten wir auch an 2 von 3 Nächten eine fette Ratte im Zimmer…

Relaxed atmosphere, super friendly staff, and delicious food - we really enjoyed our stay 😋 We walked over to Rory’s cafe a couple of days - a very nice place too (Australian bar)

The beds were too hard for our taste, and the door locks weren’t very practical. Especially when traveling with kids, it doesn’t feel safe that you can only lock the door from either the inside or the outside.

Nous avons passé 3 nuits à Mango Beach Resort, un séjour incroyable! C’est un endroit paisible et magnifique, parfait pour ce détendre! Nous avons pu profiter pleinement de la piscine, petite plage privé filtrer des déchets de l’océan. Le petit déjeuner est complet (fruits, du sucré et du salé) Une belle terrasse ou l’on peut se restaurer et boire un bon verre au bord de l’eau. L’hôtel propose également des massages, locations de scooter… La chambre était propre et nettoyée tous les jours. Un séjour parfait que l’on oubliera sans doute jamais! Merci à tous le personnel! Je vous recommande cette adresse à 100%

Auf den Bildern bekommt man den Eindruck, dass die Anlage an einem sehr schönen Strand ist, was nicht der Fall ist. Aber die Eigentümer versuchen mit einer schönen künstlichen Lagune das wet zu machen.

Staff were very nice and it was a very quiet location for relaxation and close to nature. Loved it ❤️

C'était un endroit merveilleux, avec du personnel extrêmement serviable et sympathique. La cuisine (petit déjeuner et dîner) était très bonne. La piscine était très propre et l'endroit vraiment paisible. Nous avons adoré notre séjour!

We were looking for a peaceful and quiet resort to spend a few days and this place was perfect! Good breakfast and a surprising large dinner menu. The location is tucked away from all the noise of Vietnam . We would highly recommend.
