Only small issue was the furniture been old and needed care when placed nz cups on it . Thought some lighter more robust furniture would be better but thats just me .

Reviewed Jul 22, 2026Really pleasant and cozy space to stay. Stayed with 2 kids and 2 adults in one of the lodges and couldn't speak higher of it. The owners were lovely offered local advise without being over the top. It was clean, a little dated, but everything you could want and more especially when considering the price. Had full kitchen facilites which was great for our situation. The queen bed was a proper full bed and really comfortable and the kids slept well on the singles.
It was a little dated and the internet is pretty slow but otherwise really hard to fault.

Reviewed Jun 10, 2026Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in einer der modernen Hütten. Gute Lage zum Nationalpark, schöne Anlage. Wir wurden sehr nett mit vielen Tipps von der Besitzerin empfangen.
Die Hütten sind im Tiny House Stil gehalten. In einer Hütte sind jeweils zwei Apartments untergebracht. Leider ist alles sehr hellhörig.

Reviewed Apr 18, 2026The facilities were good. They had our room upgraded as they were doing some renovations, which they needed to do.They were comfortable. The place was close to where we needed to go as we had planned to do the Tongariro crossing so it was close to the booking facility.
Although they where renovating the place at the time, we would of preferred they have heat pumps installed rather than heaters in the rooms. This would be more energy efficient. But we still enjoyed the room we stayed in.

Reviewed Apr 1, 2026Es war alles perfekt: eine topmoderne 'Haus-Hälfte' mit allem, was wir als Selbstversorger brauchten. Dazu blitzblank und die Größe insgesamt sehr gut für 2 Personen. Sehr angenehme Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern und Unterstützung bei allen Anliegen und Fragen.

Bed was very comfortable and nice soft sheets and towels were also very soft . Staff is super nice and friendly , we would definitely stay again in this place if we were coming back. Thank you so much for lending us hiking poles for our hike !

Nor the lovely communal garden and bar space. Can highly recommend. Let's not forget the delicious breakfast and nourishing packed lunch provided for our Tongariro hike.

Die Restaurants sind in der Nähe und zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Das Shuttle zur Wanderung hält auch in der Nähe. Der Sternenhimmel war in der Nacht wunderbar zu sehen. Ein privater/ reservierter Parkplatz vor der Eingangstür. Und sonst auch genug Parkmöglichkeiten

Nous avions un appartement de 2 chambres à coucher et une belle cuisine séparée avec tous les équipements nécessaires. Une grande salle de bain et une jolie petite terrasse donnant sur le jardin. Endroit très calme et paisible, mais proche des lieux de randonnée.
Nous aurions apprécié une armoire pour ranger nos vêtements.

Nothing really anything , only thing really was I couldn’t find a mug until we were leaving.They were in a draw in the room not kitchen 🫤 and maybe label the coffee as I thought it was instant and it was for the plunger. Doh 🙄

Reviewed Nov 9, 2025הביקתה החדשה נהדרת, כוללת חדר שינה נוח, שירותים ומקלחת צמודים, סלון ומטבח מאובזר. הכל חדש, מתוכנן ומתוחזק ברמה גבוהה. ארוחת בוקר עשירה ומגוונת. במתחם חדר כביסה + מייבש שעזר לנו מאד. חנייה מרווחת בכניסה למתחם. הצוות שירותי, חייכן ומאיר פנים וקיבלנו אינפורמציה בכל הקשור לטונגרירו, מזג אוויר ובאיזה יום כדאי לעשות את טראק ה TAMA ומתי את ה TONGARIRO ALPINE CROSSING מה שהיה נכון ומדויק. נהנינו מאד !!
