Would of liking to come back but having second taughts
Paid €170 no food as the kitchen was getting renovated got told they would discount me on my next stay or refund me some of my money had no Internet wouldn't connect wasn't worth the money and I had stayed an extra night for 80 euro was meant to stay from Friday to Sunday but was up visiting in loughlin house so stayed an extra not I would appreciate a slight refund or a discount stay on my next visit
A cooked breakfast was paid for it was not available due to a family emergency with the kitchen staff.
La chambre est parfaite La réception est parfaite
Staff was excellent, breakfast was great.
Restaurant not open for dinner.
La struttura è lungo la strada principale che porta a Enniskillen. La camera era essenziale e non rumorosa se si tengono le finestre chiuse. Per mangiare cena si deve per forza avere l'auto e fare uno spostamento di circa 30 minuti. Colazione essenziale.
Struttura un po' isolata
The room and guest house overall was very tidy and well taken care off. The breakfast was excellent, especially the home mad bread. Great service overall.
Nice place. It was very small
Plenty of parking, very comfortable room with everything I needed. Delicious breakfast, owners and staff very friendly.
Lovely comfortable bed. Tea & coffee in the room was very welcome after a long wet day in the hills. Nice and quiet and peaceful overnight. Room wasnt too hot or too cold. Shower worked perfectly fine. Proprietor was very welcoming and was careful about making sure all guests had everything they needed. Bar across the way was suggested to us and it was very nice, not too loud and boistrous, just a lovely relaxed, easy going place run by lovely people. Proprietor's son gave us some tips and suggestions on where to eat and where to avoid due to events that were going on - very welcome advice - ended up at Custom House for dinner which was a good choice. Two lovely dogs, definitely a big hit with our dog-loving friends. Breakfast was nice and staff very accomodating. Overall a lovely stay, nice and easy to navigate, no pressure, easy to check in and check out. Would definitely stay again if heading down that way.
Bathroom floor in need of a good clean (Room 5) - I dropped a black t-shirt and it was coated in grey dust and fluff when I lifted it! Television also turned itself on at midnight (forgot to mention or look at settings in the morning). We never used the TV during our stay but at exactly midnight it came on, quite loud and a bit of a shock!
Quiet, relaxing, clean, kind staff, excellent food, lake and forest nearby.
I received a lovely welcome and offered all assistance and advice for my touring. The breakfast was really lovely. Very impressed. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Best breakfast ever

L' heure ouverture a 9 h pour déjeuner vous partez a 10 h bref incompréhensible.
The owner was super nice: we were hiking and he offered to drive us to the beginning of our route in Dowra. He also offered to drive us to a nearby restaurant for dinner. When we told him there was no hairdryer in our room (apparently the previous guests had stolen it), he rectified it immediately. You won't get this kind of personal touch in the network hotels. The design in the bedroom was very cute.
Loved this hotel in the countryside of Glenfarne. Just gives you the feel of being in the real Ireland. Wonderful owner who was great to talk to and the breakfast was delicious.

Breakfast
Booked a double room but was given a twin, was told it was Booking.com’s fault. Towel was barely bigger than some hand towels, dirty cutlery in the room, shower ran dirty brown water for the first 15 seconds.
Located on main road. Quiet and Comfortable bedroom . Very good breakfast.
Alles super.
Spacious room. Comfy bed. Nice staff.
Breakfast was very good, however no black ir white pudding with the fry.
Great breakfast comfort and a lovely donkey who made loud noise during the night
If you don’t drive you’re stuck!
It was clean warm and very cozy. Staff where lovely
Couldn't meet a friendlier, more accommodating team. We needed breakfast earlier than their usual hours and they were more than happy to sort this for us. The room was clean and a good size and temperature.
The host
The peacefulness and location was were we needed to be
Everything was perfect from check in to leaving
Only thing it was a bit remote for shop not that everything you need was in supermarket adjoined with a post office also
Very pleasant
Clean very cosy Very quiet
Tv screen a little small
Very lovely Accommodations. Wonderful restaurant (for breakfast). Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
Great Nights sleep despite closeness to the road. Food was very tasty. Good tips on local knowledge. Shower easy to use lots of hot water. The bed was very comfortable. Rooms temperature spot on. Restaurants paid close attention to our needs, and the food was very tasty. I particularly enjoyed fresh fruit with cereal.
The only blemish was a squeaking bathroom door.
It was a very comfortable stay and the bathrooms were very nice.
Nothing, it was perfect for what I needed.
Lovely cooked, fresh breakfast, prepared as we like it, great service. Locals evidently dropping in for breakfast as well as B&B girsts, good sign!
Every thing worked very well for our brief overnite stay. Also marvelous we could take our 14yr old Lab /collie cross, Lola & easy access to out-front carparking. Comfortable, convenient & discrete.
Nice hosts, spotless and comfortable.
All good.
A very excellent breakfast, better than would be expected at a Guest House! The ground floor room at the back was very quiet which was much appreciated by the single older lady travelling alone.
More TV channels would have been good, but I guess that reception is not great at that location! It is rather far from a restaurant to get any dinner midweek.
I know it’s a rural guesthouse and not the four seasons, but some really big downsides here. No soap anywhere in the ro
Gorgeous property, very well kept, clean, comfortable, lovely facilities, welcoming staff. Handy to have a little shop right beside and a restaurant. So lovely
Can’t say there was anything I didn’t like
Clancy's is a delightful, family-run Irish inn/bed & breakfast. This family takes great pride in the property and are very welcoming. The restaurant serves delicious hearty breakfasts and great lunches. Across the street there is an absolutely delightful legacy pub...McHughs - enter the left door for a delightful "lounge" with tables and comfy chairs. If you are lucky, Susan McHugh, the woman who owns the pub with her husband, will wait on you. If you go through the right door you will be greeted most nights with a collection of locals sitting in two lines knee-to-knee talking local news. We felt awkward at first that then decided it was one of our favorite part of our trip to Ireland. The real deal! And around the corner from Clancy's you will find the Rainbow Ballroom of Romance, which has a storied history and offers daytime tours with a delightful guide.
Wished we could have enjoyed Clancy's dinners, but weren't there on days the restaurant stayed open. Everything else was pure Irish delight.
There was a little confusion at check in about which rooms we had been assigned, but it was resolved quickly. The restaurant was not open for dinner on the night that we stayed at Clancy’s, but it was only a few km to find a place to eat. The rooms were very quiet and everything worked well. Breakfast was included and we requested to have it at 7:30. They were not able to accommodate that, but made it for 8:00 and it was excellent.

The location was perfect to visit with family nearby and also travel to other destinations in Ireland for day trips.
Everything was ideal and just what we were looking for during this part of our trip to Ireland.
very kind staff excellent breakfast nice and cosy bar across the road (Mc Hugh's) nice loop walk nearby (Lough MacNean Walk)
I'd love to stay longer

Lovely clean room. Lovely breakfast.
Friendly staff and welcome. Comfy beds and a filling breakfast. Great pub across the road too. 2nd year staying there in the way west. Definitely recommend
The people
We had a great stay! The B&B was very clean, well-organized, and comfortable. The owners were incredibly proactive and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommended!
Perfect for our needs, just wish we could’ve stayed for the breakfast
No issues
Quiet, very well kept
Clancy’s was a fantastic first stop on our Ireland journey. The owners were very hospitable and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious! We did enjoy a couple pints across the street at McHues!
Lovely bed and breakfast. Staff very friendly. Small grocery store and post office next door. Free parking across the road. Close to the border. Nice options for breakfast and has plant milk!
Lovely property, very clean, beautifully decorated, fantastic hosts. Can’t recommend highly enough if looking for somewhere to stay in the area. Great wee quaint pub across the road where everyone was very friendly.
Nothing.
The rooms were very clean and cozy! The breakfast was excellent (particularly the brown bread) and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The temperature of the shower (room 8) was very hard to regulate. It ended up being scalding hot! Also the shower in room 4 was a bit off as well.
Only issue for me was the single bed. I had booked a double room thinking Inwould get a double bed but I didn’t.
Comfy bed,quiet location.
The hotel was closed when we check in due to a power cut
We absolutely love that the hotel is pet friendly!! It was very clean and the location was very good. Also, a very nice pub across the road.
We did not get to stay at hotel as all the power was out and it was closed which we didn’t find out until we arrived
No power because of weather
Breakfast was lovely
Restaurant was closed the day we were there
Cute and comfortable room. Very rural, only a small pub across the street, no restaurants, but it all fit our needs for the night. Great breakfast in the morning.
Absolutely lovely stay. Staff was welcoming and courteous. Good food in the restaurant. The small bar across the road was a plus. We felt like family by the time we left. Definitely will be back!

What guests love
Areas to consider
Cleanliness
7.7/10Mixed cleanliness: several guests praised generally clean rooms, but there are specific issues noted (dusty bathroom floor in Room 5, small/insufficient towels, dirty cutlery in one room, brief brown water from shower).
Service
9.8/10Very strong service: multiple reports of a warm, helpful proprietor who offered drives to trailheads and restaurants, rectified missing items (hairdryer) quickly, and accommodated early breakfasts and guest needs.
Location
9/10Excellent for outdoor activities and peaceful stays: close to boardwalks, lakes and forests and described as quiet and peaceful. Noted as remote for guests without a car.
Room Quality
8.4/10Generally comfortable rooms with good beds and adequate temperature; some nice design touches. Issues noted include occasional TV malfunctions and at least one booking mismatch (double vs twin) and small towels.
Amenities
8.2/10Basic but appreciated amenities: tea & coffee in-room, responsive provision of hairdryer when missing, bar nearby. On-site restaurant availability was limited/closed at times; occasional in-room TV problems and some animal noise reported.
Value for Money
8.9/10Good value overall: many guests felt the stay and breakfast warranted return visits despite a few service/room hiccups and remote location considerations.
Food and Beverage
9.7/10Standout breakfast widely praised (several guests called it excellent or 'best breakfast ever'). Minor notes: no black/white pudding for one guest and the on-site restaurant was sometimes closed.
Overall Experience
9.5/10Overall very positive: welcoming proprietors, peaceful location, comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast produced many repeat-intent comments; a handful of cleanliness/amenity issues and occasional noise were exceptions.
