Super-comfy bed, stylish room. Excellent continental breakfast and a perfect, central location. Catherine was also a wonderful, friendly and helpful host.

Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been nice.

Ein hervorragender Gastgeber. Catherine ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft vereint Historie und Moderne. Das ganze Haus atmet Geschichte. Die Einrichtung ist durchgestylt und trotzdem sehr behaglich. Frühstück ebenfalls hervorragend. Parkplätze gibt es genügend in der Tiefgarage hinter dem Haus.

Es hätte nichts besser sein können.

Es war toll, in einem so wunderschönen alten Haus zu wohnen, das sehr schön renoviert und gestaltet ist.

Das Zimmer hatte zwar alles, was es braucht, aber das kleine Waschbecken und wenig Abstellfläche waren etwas unkomfortabel.

Très bon emplacement en centre ville et un logement impeccable. Et la personne qui nous a accueilli très aux petits soins de ses hôtes. Super

La décoration soignée, le super petit déjeuner (large choix de thés notamment), l’emplacement, le charme, le confort de la literie, le calme (notre chambre donnait sur l’arrière de la maison).

Die Lage ist unschlagbar. Aus meiner Sicht eines der schönsten Häuser am schönsten Platz der Stadt. Das Frühstück hat sehr hohe Qualität, der Salon ist gemütlich und einladend.

In meinem Zimmer(Angkor) war das Tischlein sehr klein (überhaupt nicht schlimm, aber leicht unpraktisch, da ich etwas arbeiten musste).

La Maison Pavie conserva una fortissima identità: ogni dettaglio parla dei viaggi di Auguste Pavie. La posizione è centralissima, la camera era grande e accogliente. La colazione superba.

La distanza del bagno dal lavandino è un po' scomoda ma comprensibile trattandosi di una casa d'epoca. Anche la mancanza di un parcheggio privato la rende un po' più scomoda da raggiungere, ma la vista sulla piazzetta antistante è impagabile.

La Maison Pavie liegt in ausgezeichneter Lage und ist eine ganz besondere Unterkunft, um Dinan zu erkunden. Das Zimmer mit Mittelalter-Flair und wunderschönem Ausblick sowie das tolle, umfangreiche Frühstück waren definitiv Highlights für uns!

A lovely, characterful place in a great location on the square by the church. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our room, which was a perfect mix of the old and the modern. Breakfast was excellent. We were just sorry we had to leave so soon.

It’s perfect location on St Saviour Square. Its tasteful stunning interior influenced by its historic links to Auguste Pavie. An excellent breakfast and friendly hostess.

Beautiful, historic property in a charming town. Lovely breakfast. Rooms were done in a unique style that harmonized the historic building with the Asian travels of one of Dinan's famous citizens.

We didn't have a problem with any of this ourselves, but travelers should be advised they are in a historic building with steep, narrow and creaky wood stairs and no air conditioning (there was a fan).

Beautiful architecture. Wonderful tub. Right in the central Square. Management received a wine shipment for me from Paris. Very helpful.

Internet didn’t work in our top floor unit. Parking was very confusing. We paid one rate, but then there was some other rate, my wife speaks better, French and sorted it out, but it was frustrating.

The location is superb, in the heart of medieval quarter directly opposite the basilica. The historic building with comfortable modern rooms, with asian design touches, is a wonderful combination. The owner/host Catherine was very friendly and helpfyl.

Access to the property by car is tricky. Google maps is no help, because many of the surrounding streets are one way or closed off. There is only one street that provides access (described on the web site). Once arrived, you can park outside the maison briefly, while unloading luggage. Over night paid parking is relatively close by (5 min walk).

A wonderful find in the heart of Dinan. Full of history and charm and a delicious breakfast. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Very welcoming on arrival. We were able to check in early which was a bonus on a very hot day. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfy. Right in the centre of the old quarter and very handy for everything Dinan. We will be back!

La casa che accoglie la struttura recettiva e’ veramente bella, l’ arredamento e’ curato nel minimo dettaglio con mobili di gusto. La posizione è meravigliosa. L’ host che ci ha accolte è molto cordiale ma di una precisione che definirei maniacale.

The location in centre of town was perfect, the quirky charm of this accommodation, there are only five rooms and narrow spiral staircase, is very appealing for those wanting an experience. The breakfast and sitting rooms give a taste of the grandeur of this old house.

Beautifully decorated 15th century building with SE Asian themed rooms. Just across from the church and easy walking to all the old city shopping and sights.

The circular staircase was a bit worrisome but understandable in a house of this age.

A beautiful character filled small hotel on a lovely square in Dinan. The staff were wonderful and the breakfast was one of the best we have had in France. The communal breakfast room and guest lounge were both lovely and much appreciated.

We were travelling during France's heat wave and being so old, the hotel doesn't have air conditioning. Our room had a fan but it was warm in our attic room. Be aware that the stairs are narrow and steep so this property may not suit everyone.

The only concern I had was the lack of any escape route from our 3rd floor room in the event of a fire or similar emergency. Our room was high up at the very top of the house accessible only by a single very steep and very narrow staircase. Potential clients of a nervous disposition in this regard should request an alternative room.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön ausgestattet und die Betreiberin ist sehr freundlich. Vor allem überzeugt hat das sehr gute frühstück.

Ein kostenfreier Parkplatz ist ca 20 minuten entfernt und leider hatten wir das zimmer im Dachgeschoss wo das bad und wc direkt offen im Raum waren.

The location of the property is superb. This is my third visit to Dinan, but the first time I’ve stayed in this area. Catherine was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the property itself is a real gem if you like old and quaint properties where the furnishings and fittings display a love of detail. Perhaps not the easiest if you don’t like stairs, but for me that’s no problem. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, and everything was easy. I would certainly recommend and return

Absolutely brilliant breakfast. And we were so well looked after by the lovely owner who couldn't have been kinder. Great location with beautiful views over the square at the front and gardens at the back. Would definitely return to Dinan - it's a gorgeous town - and when we do, we'd 100% stay at La Maison Pavé again.

Charming old building in the old part of Dinan. Nicely and sympathetically decorated. Good breakfast and the hosts were very accommodating when we needed ours early one of the mornings.

The location was in a pedestrian zone and it was difficult to find. Once there, the door was locked and it was hard to get the staff's attention. Better directions would have been helpful. The stairs were a bit steep.

We absolutely loved our short stay here. Hosts were wonderful and room was very spacious. Due to the age of the property you could hear all movements due to the floor boards but this wasn't an issue. We loved that it had a sitting room that you could use and tea and coffee facilities. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding and served by lovely friendly louis

Honestly have nothing to suggest here as it lived up to my expectations

Lovely comfortable bed and loved the double shower and the breakfast was great - one of the very best. Catherine looked after us well.

Detailed Directions be helpful - we didn’t know we could drive to the property - as we saw a no entry sign. And didn’t understand the front door microphone and bell and so waited outside until Catherine came.

This is in a 14th century half-timbered house and is so full of character and history. The room we had was enormous with views over the square. The bathroom was modern and had an excellent shower. The breakfast was sumptuous with more than anyone would need. (We made it one of our two meals a day.) Best of all was the hostess, Katrine, who was incredible - courteous, friendly, informative.

Nothing at all. We did have two sets of spiral staircases to ascend, but, unless you have mobility issues, it is fine. And, we are in our 70s!

The host was discreet but welcoming. Free pass provided for safe secure car park nearby (we have a large SUV). Charming, historic property, beautifully renovated and decorated. Room was large & airy with very comfortable bed and a double shower. Large shared lounge with comfy chairs and a view of the church and square.. Access to coffee machine & large selection of teas. Great French breakfast, lots of choice, alll of excellent quality.

Everything was great for our trip in early Spring. I don't think there is any outside space - no terrace or balcony (not from our room or the shared spaces)

En endroit magnifique comme on aime. Le charme de l'ancien dans un quartier historique de Dinan. On a adoré la déco, le confort, le petit déjeuner autour de la grande table et les cloches de la basilique Saint sauveur.

Une nuit parfaite ! Séjour court mais vraiment très agréable. La chambre était impeccable et très confortable, nous avons très bien dormi. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et délicieux. Nous recommandons sans hésiter.

Die Anreise war sehr kompliziert da viele Einbahnstrassen. Nach einem Tel mit dem Hotel fanden wir dann das Parkhaus. Man muss dort parken und bekommt vom Hotel dann eine Parkkarte wo man umsonst parken kann.

L’accueil etait impeccable, tres bonne prise en charge. L’ambiance des petits déjeuners avec les autres hotes était tres bien.

Super breakfast, no limit on anything all very fresh. Catherine who manages the hotel could not have been a better host. Always helpful and friendly.

Great location in the heart of the historic district. It was fun to stay in a historic property as well, and having access to parking nearby was critical for us.

The toilet was in a small space that didn't get good ventilation and the sink was outside in the middle of the room up a step which was a bit hazardous at night.
