Reviewed Jul 11, 2026A small, quiet B and B, on a quiet residential street Marco the historic Grand Place and a 25 minute walk to the Brussels MIDI train station. The breakfasts were simple but very nice. All told, a great, quiet, comfortable place to stay!
Because the street the B & B is on is only 2blocks long, it is quiet (which is nice) but hard to find if you are exploring the area on foot and don’t have good notes on how to find your way back at the end of the day. So, take good mental notes and written ones re: intersections nearby so you don’t get lost.

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026The location was excellent. Within easy walking distance of all the major sites of interest and easy access to public transport. The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating and the breakfast was delicious.
Our visit was during a heatwave and, despite the best efforts of the owner to keep the room cool, it was difficult to sleep in the heat without air conditioning. It was quite understandable that it would be difficult to install this in a building of this age. Apart from that, we had a wonderful time.

Da es sehr heiß war, wäre ein Kühl(Klima)gerät sehr hilfreich für die Schlafqualität gewesen und nicht nur ein Ventilator. Auch ein Rollbalken wäre gut zur Verdunkelung und zum Fernhalten der Sonne. Der Preis ist für die gebotene Leistung etwas überhöht.

L’unica pecca secondo me è stata la colazione perché è organizzata su di un unico tavolo dove gli ospiti potevano mangiare tutti insieme! Francamente non mi sono trovato a mio agio infatti ho preferito non farla lì!

Reviewed May 13, 2026Die Lage war sehr zentral gelegen, 10 Minuten Gehzeit zum Großen Marktplatz und trotzdem ruhig gelegen, das Zimmer war groß und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, alles sehr sauber, wir haben gut geschlafen, eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin hat uns begrüßt und versorgt mit einem Frühstück, das keine Wünsche offen ließ, können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen 😊
Man sollte gut zu Fuß sein und viele Treppen steigen können, unser Zimmer lag im dritten Stock, für uns jetzt kein Problem

The towels were very rough and some of the facilities in the bathroom needed fixing. For example the towel rack was just hanging on , it needs to be repaired and the room door knob was loose.

Til sidst må vi lige fremhæve værten, som var utrolig imødekommende og venlig - dette betyder virkelig noget for helhedsindtrykket. Så alt i alt kan dette sted varmt anbefales.

Reviewed Apr 11, 2026ruhige Lage, Zimmer schön eingerichtet, bequemes Bett, Bad ausreichend groß und sauber, Duschgel, Haarshampoo und Föhn vorhanden. zwei verschiedene Farben Handtücher, für jede Person eine Farbe SUPER! :-) eine zusätzliche Bettdecke, nach der wir gefragt hatten, weil wir es nicht gewohnt sind eine große Decke zu teilen, wurde uns bereitgelegt. Danke. Zimmer/Bad wurde jeden Tag saubergemacht, hatten wir beim B&B gar nicht erwartet. 2. Stock, Zimmer zum Hof raus mit Blick in den Himmel, sehr schön. Frühstück gut. Das Viertel und das angrenzende Viertel Dansaert haben viele wirklich lässige Cafes und Bars. Hat uns gut gefallen. Koffer konnten am Abreisetag noch bis nachmittags in der Unterkunft gelassen werden - allerdings unten im Gang des Hauses. (Im Haus sind nur B&B Gäste) Muss man mögen. Danke trotzdem.
Erst war der Kontakt per Booking/Mail gut und es wurde rasch geantwortet. Später lief es etwas zäher, auf Nachfrage. War uns nicht klar warum. Die Dame des Hauses hat uns zwar einigermaßen freundlich, jedoch sehr knapp empfangen. Schlüsselübergabe, Zimmer kurz gezeigt, Frühstückszeit abgefragt, fertig. Ein paar persönliche Worte wären nett gewesen. (Wie war die Reise? Brauchen Sie noch etwas? etc..) Beim Frühstück sitzt man an einem großen Tisch, alle Frühstückszutaten stehen auf dem Tisch. Die Dame ist mit im Raum und macht Kaffee (auch 2), sitzt dann nebendran und arbeitet am Laptop. Es kann sein, dass auch andere Personen mit am Tisch sitzen. War für uns ok. Wenn man etwas nachhaben möchte, muss man fragen. War für uns machbar. Auch hier fehlte uns aber ein wenig Freundlichkeit. Irgendwie fühlte man sich nicht so richtig willkommen. Die Lage - man konnte innerstädtisch alle wichtigen Ziele zu Fuß erlaufen- und das schöne Zimmer haben uns aber darüber hinweggebracht, dass es kein herzlicher Empfang war. Im Eingangsbereich roch es muffig. Das ist schade, denn es ist der Erstkontakt mit der Unterkunft. Hier könnten ein Raumspray oder dezente Duftstäbchen Abhilfe schaffen. Insgesamt eine schöne Unterkunft in super Lage mit etwas unpersönlichem Beigeschmack.

Reviewed Mar 21, 2026Normally İ choose hotels, not house like facilities like this but this time I wanted to give it a try when I saw Villa 36 on booking İt was a nice stay Location is good, close to touristic places - on a very quiet street. We came from central station it was like 25 minutes walk. Stairs was not an issue for us.( no lift) Room size is good with enough storage. Tea coffee kettle in the room. Nice decoration and accessories Clean room and facility Comfortable bed and pillows. Our room didnt have a view just facing a wall even if it had it would probably face another building opposite, not a problem we didnt spend time in the room. Breakfast iş very different it is in the kitchen where there is a table and 6 chairs. The owner kindly asked us our preferred breakfast time and we changed it önce without a problem. We were alone at the table but I guess there might ve other people as well. The breakfast was really good, it had everything you could ask for with a plenty of choices. There was even a fruit salad.. Thanks...

Ich bin mit dem Auto angereist und die Parksituation ist schrecklich. Das enge Parkhaus Bepark in der Rue de la Buanderie lässt sich nur mit der Bepark-App nutzen....

With a shower in the bath, there's always a chance of spraying water everywhere, but with care, it was fine and the water hot.

Reviewed Dec 11, 2025Tutto perfetto già dal giorno prima di arrivare. Nathalie é stata davvero carina e gentile a contattarmi e a dare e chiedere maggiori info sul mio soggiorno. Check in veloce, camera pulita ordinata silenziosa e con tutto il necessario. Posizione strategica per visitare Bruxelles, noi abbiamo girato principalmente a piedi. Colazione molto buona. Insomma se ritornerò a Bruxelles so dove alloggiare!

Disponibile ad ogni richiesta e molto gentile nel fornire consigli preziosi sulla città, sui mezzi di trasposto, sulle cose più belle e molto altro. Ci ha persino prestato alcuni libri su Bruxelles per visitare luoghi che normalmente si tralasciano. Complimenti! Non è facile trovare persone così disponibili. La struttura è completamente rinnovata, arredata in modo artistico ed estremamente accogliente e pulita. Il bagno è nuovo. La posizione è centrale tanto che noi l'abbiamo raggiunta a piedi dalla stazione dei treni. La prima colazione è preparata con cura ed abbondante: baguettes, latte, caffè, marmellate, salumi, formaggi tipici, succhi, uova sode, yogurt e squisite brioches. Pertanto, in conclusione, una struttura molto comoda, pulita ed ospitale. Ci torneremo di sicuro. COMPLIMENTI !!!!! CONTINUATE COSI' !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Purtroppo non dispone di ascensore e pertanto si sale solo a piedi. Per chi è anziano e con qualche difficoltà di movimento potrebbe rappresentare un problema. Le camere sono al primo, secondo e terzo piano.
