Reviewed Mar 15, 2026Very nice stay at Matteo. Close to the lifts, good food and vibes in the restaurant and very spacious comfortable rooms. The breakfast is perfect. The welcome of our dog is very warm. And an extra compliment for the room cleaning services !!
I would suggest to make more of the lounge donwstairs as in the room there are not a lot facilities to relax like seats or a small cabinet.

Reviewed Feb 13, 2026Frühstück super, das Hotel liegt zentral, es gibt direkt anschließen ein Restaurant, in dem man auch super zu Abend essen kann. Äußerst freundliches und bemühtes Personal. Sehr große Zimmer, bequeme Betten. 8 min zu Fuß zur Piste- 2 min mit dem Schibus, der direkt vor dem Hotel hält. Großer Parkplatz Schöner Empfangsbereich. Wenige Minuten zu Fuß ins Zentrum von Flachau.

Das Badezimmer hat keine Tür und die Glastür der Dusche hat ein Loch was etwas unangenehm ist.

Reviewed Feb 10, 2026Modern hotel. Perfecte locatie tov pistes, op loopafstand. Grote moderne en schone kamers. Goed restaurant aan het hotel gekoppeld waar ook een zeer goed ontbijt is. Goede douche producten.
Geen waterkoker op de kamer of koffiezetapparaat. Kun je apart boeken voor 8€ per dag voor 3 koffie capsules. Er is geen gym aanwezig.

Reviewed Dec 24, 2025Great location and breakfast, furthermore very nice skiroom with boots heating and equipment storage. Bus stops front of the hotel. Great size balcony.
Underfloor heating was not turned on and there is no control panel in the room, so first evening raised at the reception when they mentioned that it is 19.4 Celsius and they set to 23 C then. On the second day, after we arrived from skiing, it was still 19.5 degrees when we raised again. So from the 3 nights/4 days ski vacation stay we ended up sleeping two nights in a cold room (18-19 Celsius), they only fixed it for the 3rd night. Rooms are large so they could have created a small corner easily for basic needs, like there is no tea kettle or coffee machine or nearly any basic equipment. Other problem is that all electric switches turn on all lights or turn off all, so in short there is no way to control the level of brightness in the rooms. Last smaller problem was with the shower room, which is spacious so they could have fitted bigger shelfs to be able to use shampoo and bodywash at the same time, or provide these in smaller bottles so they fit together, rain shower head would have been welcomed in such a large shower. Also water drainage point was located in the middle of the shower room, which was easy to build and handles water perfectly with tiles steeply pointing to it, but absolutely not practical/comfortable as needed to stand on the sides all the time and felt dangerous to step into the middle.

We are dog people and travel with our dogs. It isn’t the best place for the short necessary walks during the day. There is however 1 nice walk around the hotel, following the water.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2025Vi var lite sena p.g.a. trafiken men personal i receptionen var mycket hjälpsam med incheckningen. Tyvärr var inte rummet vi tilldelades iordninggjort men det fixades snabbt och utan knot så att vi fick ett annat och bättre rum utan extra kostnad. Stor och bra restaurang på hotellet. Middagen var över förväntan medan frukosten var ok men inte mer än så. För vår del var läget utmärkt med närhet till motorvägen
Hotellet är modernt och bra men de lite större skidorter är inte så roliga på sommaren. Den lilla genuina byn i Österrike saknas allt oftare.

Keine Klimaanlage, aber wir konnten mit offener Balkontür sehr gut schlafen.

Unfortunately, matrasses were really hard and we did'nt sleep well for a whole week. We had a room for 3 and our 16-year-old daughter did not have a proper bed, but a couch with a very thin matras on. That I found unfortunate for the price we paid and resulted in a bad sleeping experience.

The breakfast was a disappointment - the coffee was awful and there was no bacon, sausages, berries, avocado or omelette chef. We have been to the hotel lots of times in the past and it felt as though they had cut back on the niceties which previously made the hotel feel special. Breakfast also needs to be served earlier at 7am as the lifts open at 8am. The hotel feels very pricey compared to others we have stayed at in Flachau.
