Bear's Den Lodge

It's the cutest place. Quiet. Lots of rooms so you're not stuffed beside other guests if it's not packed. Beautiful covered porch in front of all rooms with Adirondack chairs and ashtrays. Three Bbqs available, one for each building. Huge tv on a swivel wall mount and full use of Sasktel Max guide and proper good amount of channels. Full size fridge, ceramic cooktop, microwave and a real 12 cup coffee maker with soo much creamer and sugar that you don't have to bug the office for days and days. Great sunset view from that third building to the west.

Shower made a loud whistle but it's just cause the pressure was so deadly good

Clean, modern and private, comfy beds. Also a nice little deck space, good lighting in the parking area. I would definitely stay here again.

Only issue I had was some other guests who had drank too much and were making a lot of noise and partying on the deck, although I couldn't really hear it too much in the room, they are quite well soundproofed.

Very clean and well maintained property and room.

Bear's Den was a very tidy, quiet, well-equipped place to stay for a couple of nights! One could extend your stay easily as the unit has all you need for preparing your own meals as well. Having ground level access was important for ease of access. We will certainly stay there again when in the area.

We love the Bears Den. It's always our favorite place to stay. Also a normal sized coffee pot!!

Our pillows in the room were so flat and there wasn't any shampoo or conditioner which is minor but I didn't realize ahead of time.

The Bears Den is good value for the money. The room was very clean and included, coffee, microwave, fridge with freezer, cupboards with dishes and cutlery. Shower water was hot. It was very quiet and comfortable.

I read myself to sleep so I would have appreciated a bedside light.

It was handy having a Bbq to use and there’s laundry unit which is handy.

We come here to support this motel, hope that business gets better soon so we can continue to return a couple times a year.

What a nice place, and the owner, Jason, is so friendly. The room came with a fridge, a microwave, and a large TV. There's also a covered BBQ area for people to use. I particularly enjoyed the veranda in front of the room. It has Adirondack chairs, and was a comfortable place to enjoy a beer and watch the sunset. And, you can not beat the price. I will definitely stay here again, if I ever get to Shaunavon in the future.

The bed was a bit hard, but I just prefer a very soft one. I still got my sleep.

The owner/manager had our reservation ready when we arrived, and check-in was very pleasant and efficient. We were in our room within two minutes of arrival. Initially, the sheer amount of "signage" everywhere seemed odd, but by the end of our stay, I found myself wishing other businesses were more like this. While our room was not fancy, it was quite comfortable and very clean. The in-room fridge and microwave were very clean and worked well. Compared to the over-priced and frankly shabby Canalta up the road, the Bear's Den is an awesome value.

An option for a larger bed would be nice, but it's not a deal-breaker by any means.

Excellent modern rooms with small town charm. Ample parking directly outside rooms. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker in room with onsite laundry facilities. Strong wifi connection. Owners are very attentive to guests needs. Many dining and shopping choices within walking distance. Would recommend and will return.

Ok property for one nights stay. Room was adequate, kitchenette was helpful. Cute little town to walk around and find food for a meal.

Great service from the front desk, very clean and comfortable room. It was nice to have coffee and the fixings. Only down part was no shampoo/conditioner as I didn't have any on me.

The property was very clean. Room was clean and had all things needed for a comfortable stay. Would be great for a family or longer term stay with the kitchenettes. You can tell the owners want to make your stay pleasant and want you to come back. Was very affordable and overall we had a pleasant stay.

I have stayed here often and it’s one of my favourite hotels. It’s impeccably clean, water pressure is great and gets hot. microwave, coffee maker and a fridge are in the room. AC and heat both work great. There are plug ins for block heaters in the winter. Staff are friendly, and the price is right. And I love the signs in the room :) Would recommend to anyone!!

Very nice stay. Bed was comfortable, room very clean. Great value for the money. It has a kitchenette which we didn’t use but is very nice, full stove top and newer fridge. Very quiet night. It’s close to great dining, Harvest Eatery, great BBQ food.

We were in Shaunavon staying while we attended the Big Flat Folk Festtval in Eastend. The room was cozy and the bed was comfortable. Everything was clean. It was all we needed.

Furniture and carpet a bit tired

GORGEOUS! Immaculately clean! My favourite place to stay on our entire 3 1/2 week holiday. Only sorry it was just one night. The kitchenette was well equipped. Bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for showers.

Quiet, convenient parking, clean, friendly owner, quick and convenient check in and check out, liked the rustic style decor.

1 night stay only. Room was quiet, since no one was booked on either side of my room. Room faced East, towards residental area. Only notes of concern was door latch push-button on microwave was wearing out ( door would'nt close correctly unless tapped a few times) and housekeeping missed minor garbage ( pop bottle and empty pop can box)left in the cupboards by last occupant. Otherwise 4/5 stars for cleanliness.

Very friendly owner, Was able to get an early check in as we arrived earlier than anticipated Requested extra towels within an hour of check in (traveling with a teenager 🙄) and accommodated my request within a few minutes Clean rooms, Apartment style fridge, microwave, Visited in December after large snow fall and lot was cleared and wooden walk way was free of ice and snow Affordable Cute cozy rooms Would DEFINITELY stay again.!!

Great location! The guy who did the check in was super friendly and gave clear directions. Upon entering, there was a residual cleaner smell but nothing too bothersome, and it was nice just how clean it was. The room was well layed out and the highlight was the big bathtub and spacious kitchen area.

The only genuine issue I had was the bed. It was as firm as a board and I couldn't sleep well, woke up with a lot of back pain. There was also no shampoo and conditioner provided, but that's very minor.
