清潔で立地もよく高級感もありました。値段にしては部屋が広く快適に過ごすことができました。

15時にチェックインしようとしたら思ったより混雑していて時間がかかったこと。

朝食バイキングが美味しい。洋食と和食に分かれていて、連泊しても飽きない。 あと、静かです。

電停から少し歩くけど、許容範囲内です。 朝食の待ち時間が少し気になりました。

This is a really bad hotel and not at all as advertised. My room was so dirty with a leftover contact lens on the bed. I was so disgusted. There was an awful smoke smell and everything looked and felt unhygienic. Wifi is slower than dial up internet and I can’t connect from my room at all. Make sure you do not book a smoking room if you are not a smoker as it really is such an awful smell. There was no flexibility in being able to change to a non-smoking room from the front desk, even when I told them I am an asthmatic. Everyone was incapable of providing service that actually listened to what was being asked of them, it was so rigid, regimented and scripted. I would not recommend this hotel to any of my enemies (not even my worst).

朝食と温泉が良かったです。 部屋はアパートの一室のような感じで家族には過ごしやすかったです。

2日目は評判の和食だけあって混雑して入れず（40分待ち）洋食に変えた。 チェックイン時に和食と洋食を聞かれるが、家族は離れて待たされるため、家族の意見が聞けない。

温泉と朝食がとても良かった。金額もリーズナブル。

入浴のカードが1枚しかないため、複数人での宿泊時の場合、タイミングを合わせないといけないこと。 女性浴場へ行く階段は、スリッパを持参しないと裸足で昇降する事になるので、衛生的に気になった。

別館だったからか、部屋が古めだった。

Plenty of space, even enough to put all our luggage in a closet. Kitchenette and dining table allowed us to cook or reheat items from nearby convenience store, and once we worked out we could get dishwashing gear from reception we could clean up! Choice of Japanese restaurant or western restaurant for included breakfast - both were great, even had icecream!! Helpful staff, good shower and wifi. Easy walk to buses and trains for excursions. Great having onsen onsite. Appreciated a topsheet for the humid nights instead of an all-in-one duvet/cover.

Having got used to check-in and out by machine, it was a slow process here as a large group coincided with our arrival and a lot of info was given. Hard pillows. The toilet by the front door with bathroom on other side of apartment for handwashing. Perhaps some hand sanitiser in that cubicle could be included.

施術予約をする際に同部屋の人も個々で予約を取ってくださいとあったので予約をしようとしましたが、同じ時間で予約できず諦めました。また、温泉施設内にウォーターサーバーがあるのですが中国人観光客が水汲みを始めてなかなか使えなかった。

順番待ちをしているのに、横入りを容認しようとしたスタッフがいた。仕切りが悪い、私も含め並んでいた人達にも印象は最悪だし、横入りしようとする人にも、ひと言お並び下さいと、言えば良かった。最低

朝食は美味しかったです。朝からお刺身などが食べられて豪華だと感じました。お風呂も気持ちよかったです。脱衣所にウォーターサーバーがあるのも非常にありがたいです。建物の中も全体的にきれいでしたし、空港シャトルバスのバス停がホテルのすぐ前にあるのも便利です。駅前の繁華街はにぎやかですが、こちらのホテルは駅から少し歩いて静かなエリアにあります。

居室内のバスルームについて、清潔に保たれてはいるものの、床などところどころ古さを感じました。また通気口(空調)がかなり汚れていたのはマイナスポイントでした。ハンガーが2つしかなかったので、もう少し予備が合ったほうが便利かなと思いました。 朝食は、予め時間帯が定められたチケットをいただくものの、その時間に行っても待ち時間が長かったので、朝の予定を組むのに考慮したい点だと思いました。お食事自体はとても美味しく、テイクアウトのコーヒーサービスも良かったです。 良いホテルで満足していますが、価格設定を踏まえると、もう少しお部屋の細部のメンテナンスや朝食時の案内が改善されても良いのではと思いました。

朝食は、和食を提供するレストランと洋食を提供するレストランに分かれており、2日づつ分かれて頂きましたが、通常のホテルでは提供されない料理あり、メニューも非常に多く、ソフトクリームも含めデザートも充実していて、大変美味しく頂き、大満足でした。 部屋はジュニアスイートで、2LDKと広く、洗濯機も付いて、コストパフォーマンスは驚くほど良かったでした。 温泉、サウナで1日の疲れも癒やされました。 函館で最高のホテルです。

ロケーションが少々悪いですが、函館は狭いし、市電が便利なので気になりませんでした。 朝食で順番待ちがありましたが、そんなに待たされることもなく、時間帯を遅らせば、待つこともありません。

호텔 체크인 시 도어락 사용법을 실제 샘플로 설명해주시는 프런트 직원이 다소 당황스럽기는 했지만 친절함에 감동을 받았습니다. 객실이 넓어서 이틀동안 편히 쉴 수 있었고, 조식은 일식,양식 종류도 다양하고 해산물이 매우 신선해서 만족스러웠습니다. 하코다테역에서 거리가 있기는 하지만 근처에 트램 정류장이 있어 이용하기 편했습니다. 하코다테에 다시 여행오게 되면 재방문하고 싶습니다.

호텔에 있는 주차장이 만차라 거리가 떨어져있는 주차장을 이용해서 첫날만 불편했고, 이틀간 머물며 트램,버스,도보로 다녀서 크게 아쉽지도 않았습니다.

日式早餐超好吃！每天早上都吃得心滿意足~房間很大很舒適，冰箱很大，內有製冰盒很方便。有廚房可以自己煮，但調味料要自備。位置算方便，離路面電車站步行約4分鐘，慢慢走也可到函館JR車站。

有洗衣機但無法烘乾，1F有烘衣機，但衣服多的話也難以完全烘乾。

和か洋と選べる朝食に温泉とサウナがとても良かったです。　空港行きのバスもホテルの目の前で便利でした。

清潔感があり、最上階のオーシャンビューで最高でしたし、料理も朝、市場に食べに行かなくてもじゅうぶんに美味しい料理が食べられました。

朝ごはんの時間をチェックイン時に聞かれたが、その時間には食べられず長蛇の列。 この時間に何人と制限しないと時間を聞く意味がないかと思いました。 それなりに時間で動いている人にとってはこのシステムを改善してほしいと願うはず。 並んでる方たちがイライラしてたのが印象的。

スタッフの特に大久保さんが親切で、対応も素晴らしく安心出来ました突然の部屋の変更に対応して下さり有難う御座いました 宿泊設備も、お値段から見るととても良かったです スマホの充電も、3人が、直ぐにコンセントを確保出来たのも良かったです お値段以上でした 有難う御座いました 友人と、三人で、宿泊した一日目はお部屋が広くて快適でした 友人と2人になった2日目も荷物をカウンターで、預かって頂きましたし、次のお部屋まで届けて頂けていました お部屋をこちらの都合で、変更しましたが、基本的にとても親切な対応だと思いました 気持ちよく宿泊しました 来年も函館に行くのが楽しみになりました 有難う御座いました

Although the rooms are exceptionally spacious—well above the Japanese average—and equipped with rare and commendable amenities (such as a kitchenette, double wardrobe, and, in some rooms, even a washing machine), my overall experience was not satisfactory. Despite an information sheet outlining the hotel's amenities being handed out at the entrance, the registration process was sluggish, leading to long wait times. Furthermore, upon arrival, we were informed that as we had made two separate, consecutive bookings, we would be required to check out after the first night and wait until 3:00 PM to access the new room. Having just arrived after a long drive, I immediately asked whether we could stay in the same room for the second night (especially since I remembered paying more for it) or, at the very least, complete the check-in formalities for the second booking in the morning during check-out. The answer was a flat refusal. It was only at check-out that I finally understood the issue: due to confusing room classifications on the booking portal, I had booked a higher-category simple twin room for the first night at a lower rate, and a lower-category room for the second night, even though it was labeled as a "deluxe twin." What disappointed me was not the misunderstanding itself—things like that can happen while traveling—but rather the poor communication and complete lack of customer orientation. The front desk lady appeared visibly annoyed, brushing me off with an unprofessional "You got it?". Given my explicit request to avoid switching rooms, I fail to see why the room category difference was not explained to me right away. It would have been easy to explain and maybe offer a flexible alternative: for instance, assigning us the lower-category room for both nights from the start (sparing us the hassle of packing and moving) or arranging an upgrade, especially since, in reality, the two rooms were virtually very similar.

I found the lack of in-room toiletries surprising and disappointing. The bathroom only provides toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash neither a bag for the onsen towels. Essential items such as shower caps, razors, cotton swabs, and combs are completely missing. To get them, one has to go down to the onsen, which is inconvenient and impractical—especially for guests who prefer not to use the public baths or cannot access them for personal reasons. Having stayed at numerous hotels across Japan, I found this policy unusually subpar. Internet is very poor The breakfast deserves clear praise (I opted for the Western option, though a Japanese one is also available); it was varied, generous, and of great quality. I also truly appreciated the warm welcone of both the restaurant greeting staff and the team at the entrance, who were consistently courteous, attentive, and proactive in assisting guests. The location is also convenient, with excellent restaurants nearby.

Have to choose a breakfast time slot at check in. Also have to choose between Japanese / western breakfast at check in (different restaurants in different towers of the hotel. Huge room, plenty of room for a sofa but no sofa. Bathroom felt a bit dated. Wifi is very very slow.

朝食ブュッフェが、とても美味しかったです。 べットもとても寝心地よく、思ったよりお部屋も広かったです。 天然温泉もとても質が良くとても気持ち良かったです。 とてもロビーも落ち着きがありよかったです。

鍵を開けて部屋へ入って、普通に閉まってると思ってたら、きちんと部屋のドアが閉まってなくてびっくりしてしまいました。たまたま、私の泊まった部屋だけなのかわからんけど。。 いつもホテルに泊まると自然に閉まると思い込んでたので。 これが、海外だったらと思ったらめっちゃ怖いなぁと思いました。 気をつけよ〜って思いました。

Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing. The internet was terrible and practically unusable. We could barely connect at all. When we asked the hotel staff for help, they gave us a separate router, but that did not work either. They offered no further assistance and essentially told us that there was nothing else they could do, which was incredibly frustrating. There was also a horrible smell in the room. It smelled extremely unpleasant and made us question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned. The bathroom was full of mold, and we did not feel comfortable using the shower. The entire room was very old and poorly maintained, and it was not a pleasant place to stay. There were also constantly long lines at reception, with huge numbers of guests waiting. This made it very difficult and time-consuming to speak with the staff or get help with even basic issues. The bed was awful and extremely uncomfortable, and the pillows were just as bad. I woke up with neck pain and did not get a comfortable night’s sleep at all. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience. The room was dirty and outdated, the facilities were poorly maintained, the internet did not work, and the staff were neither helpful nor accessible. I would not recommend this hotel.

スタッフの皆様はとても親切で良かったと思います。

禁煙ルームに滞在しましたが、過去にどなたかが喫煙されたのでしょうか？自身は非喫煙者ですので、タバコの染みついた匂いに敏感なので、お部屋に入った瞬間に感じました。フロアからも臭ってたので、その日誰か吸ってた？スタッフの方は禁煙ルームはフロア一帯が禁煙なはずとおっしゃっていましたが、明らかにどなたかが吸っているような臭いが染み付いてました。 臭いがそもそもクリーンな印象を感じなかったことに加え、シャワーの浴室が四方カビだらけで、ドン引きしました。足を踏み入れるのもいやで使えなかったです。いつから床をこすっていないのだろうと思えるほどの堆積した黒カビ赤カビがびっしりでした。 お風呂も、正直、海外のお客様（アジア圏）が多いせいか、洗い場も立ちながら髪を洗っている人、周りに気を使うことなく水飛び跳ねまくり。湯船も髪の毛縛らずに、濡れた髪を絞っている人までいた。温泉の入り方エチケットをもっと丁寧にわかるようなポスターを貼るなどして日本人のゲストが安心してリラックスできるよう努めてほしいと思った。せっかく駅近で温泉がついている施設なのに、衛生面などから、改善されない限りはもう使用したいと思えなかった。

The hotel is walking distance to the tram and bus stops. The facilities are well-maintained and clean. The room is a bit crowded for 2 people; there was not much space to open your luggage. However, the bed and pillows were comfortable. There were two choices for breakfast: western and Japanese buffet style. We also enjoyed the variety of food.There is also an onsen where you can relax. It was also easy to communicate with them through booking.com, especially when our arrival was significantly delayed.

早餐有分日式和歐式，這次想用日式早餐，非常優秀，納豆是黑納豆，很好吃，很香，不敢嘗試納豆的人可以吃吃看，是北海道特有的喔！ 溫泉設施超讚！有spa池，有烤箱，有冷泉，泡澡之中還有電視可以看，超棒！泡溫泉的地方還可以量體重。 接待大廳超香的有種高級感，有小商店營業到很晚，可以買一些飲料，櫃檯都有人會說中文。

房內有洗衣機，但沒有洗衣劑，要自己另外買或是去一樓烘衣機那裡買，但我們去的時候販賣機壞掉所以買不了。 房內洗衣機沒有烘乾服務，要自己拿到一樓烘乾，我們轟了兩次總共60分鐘，可是烘完沒有一件衣服是乾的，還是要在房間內另外曬（房內有提供曬衣架）

大浴場はサウナだけでなく多種多様なお湯があり、非常に満喫できました。朝食ビュッフェは品数が多く、全種類食べる前にお腹がいっぱいになってしまいました。洋食か和食か選べたのですが、海鮮は和食だとお刺身、洋食だとカルパッチョになるようです。和食でも焼きたてパンやカレーがあったので、どちらを選んでも満足できると思います。

14:30ごろに訪れたところ、すでにチェックイン待ちのお客さんが何組かおり、土日ということもあってか15:00にはなかなかの列ができていました。我々は来館した段階でフロントに声をかけていたので優先案内していただけました。待機客向けのドリンクのサービスが15:00に始まるのが謎でした。もう少し早くても良いのでは...

市電の駅まで近く、五稜郭方面も函館山方面も行きやすかったです。 部屋に簡易キッチンと洗濯機があり、便利でした。

朝食ブッフェの混雑が凄まじかった。 天ぷらとお刺身の列が別々になるような配置だとあそこまでの行列にならないと思う。

We booked online for Hotel Global View Hakodate because the promotion seemed nice. The booking did not make it easy to understand that we were getting a smoking room. It was a nice promotion but later i understood it is probably a strategy to sell their old smoking room. We only realised clearly after paying, as suddenly the full title of the room was clear. My wife had cancer treatment this year. Smells still make her sick. I told the front desk at check-in and asked to change rooms. They gave me a price. 38,000 yen. Then 20,000 yen, for an upgrade, as no other equivalent was available to swap. I don't care about the upgrade, i just wanted my wife to feel okay as we already paid the two days and she probably couldn't endure it. We couldn't pay that for a problem we didn't cause. So we tried the room. My wife lasted thirty minutes. The room is small. Carpet everywhere. Fabric on the walls. The smoke is not a light smell, it is the air itself. Daily smoke create harmful chemicals in the air when mixing with tapestry and all. It is not safe to breath. No window opens. The air conditioning makes no real airflow. You cannot air out the room at all. And on top of that, the wifi could not even play a video, in a 4 star. This is not a 4-star room. It is a 1-star room being sold at a 4-star price, and the smoking part is not made easy to understand until your money is gone. We went back down and said we would pay the 20,000, that was supposed to include tax. Then a second staff member told me the 20,000 did not include tax. His colleague had told me the opposite one hour earlier, from the desk right next to his. I had already paid 2,300 yen for tax and parking. When I said this, he acted like I made it up. I asked him to check with her. I asked him to check with management. Nothing changed. So i had to accept. In the end, we got played, didn't even get helped despite the health situation of my wide, and they made me feel like a liar about the tax thing, because their colleague wasn't there anymore and they couldn't verify it. I never asked for a free room, not even a free upgrade. I asked to have any acceptable situation where my wife shouldn't have to breath the heavy and irritating air, and also not to pay the same tax twice. I asked for a little flexibility, because of how we ended up in that room and because of my wife. Two staff members heard why, i think they reported it to direction, i am not sure. 早餐非常豐盛，有日式和西式二間餐廳，2間的東西都很不錯吃；房間很大，出乎我的意料之外的是浴室裡竟然還有洗衣機(雖然沒有洗衣精)；重點是價格非常便宜，大推!

The location is very convenient for trams 2 and 5. The room was spacious and the kitchenette was handy. It is also nice to have an onsen inside the hotel.

It would be good to have a couple of foreign channels (BBCWorld, TV5 Monde, Al Jezeerah...) Also the check-in procedure is a bit too strict. If the staff is available from 14:45, why can they not start processing clients who are ready to check in? In our case, there were 4 staff members standing behind the counter and waiting for the clock to reach 3pm!!!! It was frustrating, particularly when one got up at 5 am to pick up an early flight. We would have appreciated more flexibility and understanding in-keeping with the 'Omotenashi' spirit. :>))

Nice modern facility... good location...

Room was super small. Two people cannot really function properly without getting in each other's way. And what's up with these steps into the Japanese bathrooms? It's a good a foot high. Anyone with mobility issue would have a problem. And parking is not free, and if you come later in the evening, you'd have to park offsite, and still pay the same amount. And worst of all, wifi sucks. Kept dropping all the time.

hotel che è andato oltre le mie aspettative, lo staff gentilissimo. durante il soggiorno era presente un festival per i bambini che avevano al piano terra la possibilità di provare diversi giochi gratuitamente. l'onsen è "normale" ma presente. ho soggiornato in una junior suite che era molto spaziosa e con il balcone, veramente buona la vista. la colazione giapponese a buffet è stata semplicemente perfetta

We had specifically booked a non-smoking room, but the room we were given had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke, despite being advertised as non-smoking. When we reported this to the reception, we were told that we could either stay in the room or upgrade to another room for roughly twice the price, as no other rooms were supposedly available. After raising the issue again, we were eventually given a different room without having to pay extra. What made the experience particularly disappointing was that my girlfriend's concerns initially seemed to be dismissed, whereas the issue was only taken seriously once I repeated the complaint myself. Whether intentional or not, this left us feeling that we were not treated equally as guests.It is also worth mentioning that the hotel consists of an older and a newer section. We stayed in the older part, which did not feel particularly clean and appeared dated. Overall, the handling of the situation left a poor impression and significantly affected our stay.

Great overall Hotel, staff was par excellance, Japanese breakfast was great onsen was well-equipped, jacuzzis and clean! They changed my double twin room for me after I asked for a slightly larger room, Wow they gave me an apartment! No extra charge!

Location was a little far from the center of things but sometimes nice to be away from the crowded touristy areas.

バスタブのない部屋に宿泊しましたが、シャワールームの清掃が今一つかなと思いました。

Great and comfortable place to stay in Hakotade, with nice onsen to be used free by the guests. We stayed on the 13th floor and the view was great. The Japanese breakfast buffet was also great!

Need a taxi from the station and to go to main attractions (you can also walk but it is quite long), but taxis are quite cheap.

Je moet vooraf kiezen tussen Westers of Japans ontbijt, dat is namelijk gescheiden van elkaar. De onsen was groot maar best oud en heel vochtig met zwarte schimmel op het plafond.

Good size bedroom. Good shower. 15 min walk from train station.

Felt dated in the room. Not a lot in the surrounding area. WiFi not good, first time experienced this in Japan.
